Genesis Master of Events is the place to call For the perfect wedding. I am the mother of the bride and Victoria and her team gave my daughter the most beautiful fairytale wedding. Our guest can’t stop talking about it. From the ceremony to the food everything was perfect! My daughter and I didn’t have to worry about anything. We hired Genesis Master of Events to plan and coordinate our Halloween themed Spook and See last summer. They handled everything from the venue down to the desserts. Victoria and staff are such a great pleasure to work with. Because of their great planning my family and I barely lifted a finger on our wedding day. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day magical and I truly felt like a princess. Genesis Master of Events are easy to contact, respond quickly, and worked with my crazy schedule. We’re so grateful to have had them decorate, coordinate, work with our budget and plan within 5 month’s! Within those 5 months we followed a timeline Victoria had created for us that kept everything on track and did weekly check ins (or more if we needed help) which was helpful because my husband and I are such procrastinators. God forbid I’d have to get married again but if I did Victoria would be the first person I’d call!

Hiring Victoria and her team was one of the best decisions that my now husband and I made for our wedding. From the first meeting, she was nothing but sweet and equally eager about all of our ideas for the wedding. She happily answered every question and concern we had and never made us fill silly or unintelligent. Beyond her being so nice to just talk and plan with, her experience and connections proved to be a great resource for us before, during, and after the wedding. Whenever we had questions or needed suggestions she and her team were so fast to shoot back recommendations. They were able to give us recommendations for vendors with prices and whatever background information they had. This cut back on what would have been hours or days of stressful searching and contacting vendors for prices. They recommended some amazing vendors too, photographer and makeup artist especially. Day of, Victoria and her team really shined. If we had any lingering questions on hiring a planner, she proved how important the job is. Whenever we spoke she was still so cheerful and nice, kind of just floated in and let us know what was next and asked if we were ready and if we wanted to this or that. Always keeping us informed and in control of the day, but never forcing a decision or rushing any moment. Our friends and us mostly had planned to handle all of set up and tear down but her team really helped with everything there too. They really made sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. Now, we did have one issue with the wedding, but it would not have been fixed as much as it was if not for her and her team. In short, our DJ had a covid scare and subcontracted out to another DJ. He didn't tell anybody about the change and it seems like didn't send him the music worksheet that Victoria had us complete. This was after he had confirmed that he got the worksheet and could handle all the music. So, day of, none of us had an reason to doubt the DJ and were fairly busy with everything else so didn't realize there was an issue until I was about to walk out for the ceremony. The guy was playing generic wedding music instead of what we picked. I just blurted out that it was wrong and she was on it. One of her other coordinators(not sure of his title), Josh, got my song on his phone and played it into the officiants microphone. Nobody even noticed that something was wrong. There was a couple other issues with the DJ but Victoria was right there to fix them. Again. she saved the friggin day here. Then Monday after the wedding we were still upset about the DJ so reached out to her for just advice. She agreed with us, validated our feelings, told us she had already been in contact with the original DJ, and then told us to just leave it to her and enjoy the honeymoon. A day later she got back to us and let us know the DJ was giving us a full refund. I can't imagine how that would have gone without her taking charge. A perfect example of her experience, dedication, kindness, and connections ultimately saving the day. I would recommend her and Genesis to anybody, everybody that I met through them were so nice and made us feel like our day was as important to them as it was to us.

When I attended a wedding this May I walked in to a beautiful reception area that was decorated with vibrant colors and spectacular decorations!! There was an amazing table set up with tablecloths, runners, and votives. After talking with Victoria, I was amazed that the Genesis team was able to place all the decorations for the wedding in only ONE day, I would definitely want them to organize my events in the future!!

Victoria saved the day and I cannot thank her enough! Our venue postponed our wedding due to COVID and she was able to pull everything together at a new venue in 30 days. She took care of notifying all of our guests and vendors and made sure that everything ran smoothly that day.

I am not from the area but my husband’s family is. I tried to plan from a distance myself but it was far too overwhelming. Having Victoria step in and take everything over was such a blessing! To start off Victoria and her team are the sweetest people and are so easy to work with. Our wedding was during this pandemic and they made it so easy to feel like it wasn’t even happening! When my wife came to me and said she wanted to hire a Wedding Planner, I was not for it. I didn’t think it was going to be a good use of our limited budget but I was glad to be proven wrong. My husband posted a review on here with pictures as proof. Let’s just say 5 months out and I’m now planning it all . We wasted a year and a half of complete BS meetings and planning . Now I’m doing it all.

In the beginning we had a great partnership and my wife and I were ecstatic to work with Victoria genesis master of events. She was the Knots top wedding coordinator for the past few years so we couldn’t wait. We hired her very early on in the process one year and a half to be exact because we wanted to be stress free and we wanted things to be taken care of which she seemed like she would do that for us. However during that year and a half little did we know that nothing would really be getting taken care of . In our meetings with her she would constantly assure us that things were fine however we saw no real result of things being “taken care of” no venues were booked there was no money being put down to any vendor . My wife and I were the ones who were making the phone calls to ask for prices , setting up meetings with vendors we wanted and so much more we were doing . This was the reason we hired a wedding coordinator was to handle these things for us . The meetings after a while seemed to be pointless . We found out no information about our wedding from the meetings we would have with her . She was Also never able to give us an exact quote or even an estimate of how much our decor would be which she was also in charge of. It was extremely hard to get ahold of her . She would take days to respond to texts, phone calls , and emails. Finally when we did get a price from her for her decor ONLY she quoted us $22,000. Which we at the time did not know any better and did not know that her decor prices were extremely over priced . The decor we had picked out was decent it was not top of the line it did not look like it was 22,000 worth . We had to take many many things out of our wedding that we had originally dreamed of having and it was beginning to not feel like the wedding we wanted . We began to question what she had exactly done for us this past year and a half as far as “planning “ and taking care of things for us. Our wedding is only 5 months away and she has only made two deposits with the money we had been giving her . We had been giving Victoria thousands to hold for us and distribute our money to the proper vendors and only a few hundred had been distributed . Mind you we are 5 months away from our wedding . As we began to get suspicious of her pricing and intentions for our wedding we decided to look around and get other decor pricing . We found an amazing lady in Sanger Ca who would give us everything we wanted for about $14,000 LESS. How is that possible that she was going to charge us $22,000 for decor not including food, not including her planning services. Yet p we looked around and added everything we originally wanted and dreamed of and found it all for $8,000? It seemed to us that we were buying her decor for her and not renting it . I had also made it crystal clear in the beginning that I did not want a church wedding . And come to find out later that Victoria put a $500 deposit of our money down for a church for our wedding i was mind blown. No one ever told her to do that we did NOT GIVE HER PERMISSION TO PUT A deposit down with our money for a church . she clearly was not listening to our needs and wants and doing what she felt was best for us . We did in the end up parting ways with her and got all of the money back we had been giving to her besides the $3500 we owed her she kept that which we also felt was wrong considering she did not do one bit of the planning. My wife and me are from different cultures. She is from Cambodia and I am from Jordan. We were really worried about how to plan our wedding and respect our family. We both have jobs and we found Genesis Master of Events on a google search. We met Victoria and my wife loved her. She was honest and she cared for us. She did not take advantage of us and made us feel like we were part of her family. The planning was easy with Victoria and the wedding day was so special. My friends came from my home and our families got to meet each other. Ever person was excited and shared our love. This would not have been possible without Victoria. I tell all my friends to use her she is the best.
