Our photographer, Harry, was PHENOMENAL!!! We had initially booked with another photographer through George Street, but they had a medical emergency at the 11th hour. Within 2 hours, the company called me several times and sent me 3 portfolios to review and choose from. That’s how we met Harry. My anxiety was through the roof with this last minute change, but I think landing Harry was a God sent. He was so incredibly kind, patient, and professional. He immediately called me after we booked him two days before the wedding and really put me at ease. He arrived to the venue early and was there for all the big moments I wanted captured. My husband and I cannot say enough great things about him and will be forever grateful!!! Even our guests highly commended him and his performance!

Professional. Our female photographer whom I forgot the name though (sorry)really made sure that our wedding photos are great. That was last May 2024 at Havre De Grace, MD.

Communication for initial consult invitation was pretty poor. Not a lot of flexibility in packages.

We had a really great experience with George Street- very reasonable price point compared to a lot of companies offering similar services. We loved our photographer Kristen, who was so lovely and professional, and when an emergency occurred on the day of (everyone is okay!), George Street was even able to provide a back up photographer within an hour. And the pictures were lovely, very high quality. Highly recommend!

We had the best experience with George Street! They made the entire planning process extremely easy and organized. I highly recommend George Street to anyone who wants to make sure their wedding is captured in every way. They are definitely on top of everything and the photos turned out AMAZING! Plus throughout your planning process you can always email your wedding coordinator and I have always received a response within 24 hours. Lastly, you know you picked a good photographer/videographer when your guests can't stop talking about great they were! Our photographers were Ashton and Matthew and they captured every photo we had originally asked for in our planning timeline and of course captured some of the best candid's. Ashton was our lead photographer and he took the photos of the me and my bridesmaids and I seriously could not have asked for anyone better. I am extremely awkward when it comes to taking professional photos, but he made me feel comfortable and the photos turned out great! Alex was our videographer and he somehow was everywhere at the same time capturing all the small details from the venue itself to the guests, our first dance and everything in between. Book George Street for your wedding!

We had a wonderful experience with George Street! Every person that we interacted with from the initial booking to our day of photographer was personable and professional. Our photographer went above and beyond and captured wonderfully special moments. Even after our wedding, George Street stayed in contact with us to help navigate the online photo album and answer any questions we had.

My wife and I married in April 2032 and did our engagement photos down by the Baltimore canton waterfront park. Tom was our photographer for both the engagement session and the wedding, and he was excellent and a pleasure to work with. The photos we received from both sessions were perfect. The price point is incomparable and we have no disappointments - this is a rare find in the wedding world!

George Street was everything we hoped for. We had Eddie as our photographer for the day and we could not have asked for a better person to work with. She went above and beyond in everything she did. She even brought umbrellas for the wedding party due to a little inclement weather. Eddie gave clear instructions and was open to any and all requests from my family. My father unfortunately passed away a few weeks prior to our big day, but Eddie had the perfect ideas and vision to include his photo and memory. We thank Eddie and the rest of the George Street staff for making our wedding the best it could be.

We were married in April, and did our engagement photos the October before. Tom was our photographer for both the engagement session and the wedding, and he was so easy to work with, punctual and professional. We had issues with several of our vendors, but George Street wasn’t one of them. The photos we received from both sessions are beautiful and it’s such a nice touch to be able to save each one to a hard drive without incurring extra costs. Our only regret is not hiring a videographer through George Street! The price point is incomparable and we have no disappointments - this is a rare find in the wedding world.

George Street has probably the best prices out there. This is the biggest reason we chose this vendor. If you are looking for quantity over quality, this is a great choice. The pictures are professional and were aligned with our masterplan. The photographer was wonderful; she took the lead throughout the event in order to capture great moments. She was on time and extremely friendly and willing to take as many pictures as we told her. Now, if you are looking for top notch wedding photography including the edition of pictures, this vendor might not be for you. If you have a bigger budget and want shots that are more authentic and outstanding, I would recommend looking at other options.

Using George Street for my photography is probably the #1 thing I would change about my wedding. You have to sign the contract before you are able to choose your photographer. Once we did that, we found that none of the photographers had particularly impressive pictures, but you aren't allowed to speak with them until the week of your wedding. I will say that I had a friend in a larger city (I live in Baltimore) use George Street with better results than my own, so maybe the photographer talent ranges more. Although my photographer was very kind, she was not good at directing the group and we missed out on a lot of good shots, even ones that I specifically showed her that I wanted during our pre-wedding meeting. My fiance and I don't know how to pose ourselves and had a large bridal party, so we could have used more direction. We paid for an associate photographer as well, and the interaction between him and the lead photographer was fairly awkward as they don't regularly work together. He ended up half an hour late to my husband's "getting ready" which set our day behind a bit and made us lose out on some group pictures. All that being said, the absolute worst part is the customer service after your wedding. They are very dedicated in selling you the service, but the post-wedding communication is extremely poor. I was initially told my pictures would be delivered within 3 weeks on the phone, with a preview a few days after. After a week, I asked and was told a preview isn't guaranteed, and delivery is in 6-8 weeks. I asked for a few good pictures to be sent to me so that I could make our thank you cards, and was told no. I ended up reaching out on my own to my photographer, who kindly took her own time to send me a few pictures she had. I received a preview album at 6 weeks. The pictures that were chosen were terrible (us blinking or not looking at the camera), and not edited to our liking (very over saturated). I asked if they could change the editing style pre-emptively, rather than delivering the entire gallery edited that way. I also asked if they could send us unedited photos rather than editing them incorrectly. Again I was told that it wasn't an option, and I could ask for edits after I received my entire gallery. When I received my entire gallery, the pictures were all edited this way. Even my friends and family were commenting on how weirdly colored the pictures were. I asked George Street to re-edit a huge number of photos (500+), which they agreed to do. 3 months (!!) after my wedding, I received 50 of the 500 photos. Customer service was actually confused when I asked where the remainder were, and said I had only sent 50. Of course I had e-mails showing I had listed way more. Finally someone called and apologized and said they had no idea what happened. Around 4.5 months after my wedding, I finally received nicely edited photos. I've been in 4 bridal parties just in the last year, and I can safely say my photography experience was the worst of everyone. Although George Street is significantly more affordable, the savings were not worth dealing with the poor communication combined with lack of "talent" with photography and editing. I think overall I received what I paid for, in terms of getting many pictures at a good price. But it caused me way more stress than I bargained for.

We loved George Street! The entire process was very easy and stress free and affordable!! We picked the photographer we wanted based off her portfolio, which was Monica, and she was fantastic! So so easy to work with and she made everything very comfortable. I was amazed when we got our pictures back. I absolutely loved everything about all of our photos. I have been married for over a year and still constantly look at our wedding photos. They were beautiful and really captured the moment and atmosphere. Highly recommend George Street!

We were referred to George Street by a family member. Our initial interactions with the consultants were great, the provided adequate and detailed information in a timely manner. After reviewing the portfolios provided we decided on Kristen as our primary photographer. Danette was assigned as our 2nd photographers and Tyra as our videograoher. Kristen was amazing to work with during our engagement session and very patient as we were working with our 3 year old. She was very receptive to my vision for the day of our wedding and helped me through planning the timeline to make sure we had enough time for a first look, bridal party and family pictures.

Pros: Affordable, Availability (booked 5 weeks prior), Customer Service Cons: Disappointed with Photos and Website creating our album is MISERABLE!!! The process was almost worse than the entire 2 years of wedding planning :-/

A frustrating experience. First, you have to pick your lead photographer out of a list of people the company feels you would be best with. You don't get to talk to him or her until a day or two prior to your wedding. There is no way to ensure you will vibe with him or her and your visions align. Our 0videographer and associate photographer was not told to us until the day prior or day of. Our lead photographer was completely unprofessional!! She was pushy, short with the bride and bridal party, and tried to run the show. We asked her suggestions of photos and she didn't really know and said you tell me what you want. If we knew what would be beautiful we wouldn't have hired you. She had no direction and if it wasn't for the associate photographer being more chill and having knowledge of lighting our pictures would be even more eh than they are. The photos did not capture many people at our wedding. We have only 2 photos from our cocktail hour.. no video. This was shocking and extremely upsetting.. Our photographer did not carry the train of the bride, or fix it for pictures so the string underneath showed. She gave us a complete attitude from the first phone call, which again did not happen until a day or two prior to the wedding. The videographer had two cameras but did not capture the best moments and the wedding video we received does not have any transitions. It took 16 weeks for the video to be delivered to us! We were highly disappointed with the amount we paid and the service/products we received in return.

2023 Update: Recently, it came to our attention that the vast majority of digitals are 3600x2400 pixels and below 3 MB -- including the curated "Editor's Choice" collection. By comparison, my smartphone captures photographs in a higher resolution. Due to the limited resolution of our George Street set, large canvas prints appear less sharp than prints developed from images captured by our personal smartphones. 2021 review: Our experience with George Street was very straightforward, and their price structuring is competitive. George Street’s coordinators were generally responsive to our inquiries and assisted us to finalize a plan that included a private session to round out our 8 hours. Our photographer Olga G (DC Maryland area) was fantastic! We received the Editor’s Choice photos shortly after the ceremony, and the digital negatives were made available well within the stated timeframe. In addition to photographs of ceremony and family festivities, we received a number of still photos of small memories such as the decorations, place settings, and locations to help us remember our special day. We were thankful to have hired a professional.

We absolutely love George Street Photography! Coordinating with them was simple and easy. They were so organized and our pictures were gorgeous!

I recently worked with two photographers from George Street Photo & Video. As a wedding planner, I know how important it is for a couple to secure a great photographer for their big day. We got married this past June and the day was perfect. George Street did such an mazing job capturing the perfect day. They were so friendly, and professional. They captured the day exactly how I wanted it. Leading up to the day the entire process was quick and easy. I would recommend George Street to anyone looking for video/photos. All their photographers have all different styles and you can choose the style that best suits what you are looking for.

We absolutely loved working with George Street Photo & Video in Baltimore, MD. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. We had Kyle (lead) & Jeanine as our photographers, and Malcolm was our videographer. When our photos came in, we were floored! They went above and beyond our expectations. The video was incredibly fun to watch, and the highlight video was expertly crafted. We truly enjoyed working with George Street!

We got married in August and couldn't have asked for a better photographer than Kristen from George Street! She took amazing photos, and was willing to listen to any requests we had while also applying her expertise to our big day. Our pictures are gorgeous and we can't wait to display them in our home!

After I posted my review on a few different websites, I was contacted by George Street and asked if I would accept a $600 print credit. Honestly, I wanted my money back but figured I would accept the credit & wash my hands of the situation. I still hadn't received my wedding video and it was clear George Street was not willing to refund us any of the cost - so $600 to have my enlargements made was better than nothing. I told them the $600 credit would be fine and was informed they needed to "write something up" before they could issue the credit. Turns out, they wanted me to sign a Settlement Agreement - stating the following: 1. I had made “defamatory and libelous statements about George Street published on the internet”; 2. In exchange for the $600 print credit & 3 16x20 canvas prints I would “release, acquit & forever discharge” George Street from all current & future claims; 3. I would not post ANYTHING negative regarding George Street (i.e. would not write negative reviews) on any platform; 4. I would ensure my family did not ever post anything negative regarding George Street on any platform. So basically, in exchange for this print credit – I was to sign a legally-binding contract acknowledging that we had made defamatory statements and that we would 1) remove our review, 2) cause our family to refrain from writing their own reviews and 3) release George Street from any and all wrongdoing - both present and future. I refused to sign. They basically told me that if I wanted the print credit - I had to sign. They refused to alter the Settlement Agreement and did not offer me any resolution that didn't involve me either signing the Agreement or removing my review. Sadly, it’s confirmed the company bullies people into removing their negative reviews or editing them in exchange for getting whatever it is they were promised. * UPDATE: after being put in touch with the owner, we were able to come to an agreement. George Street offered me 3 $250 print credits & refunded 1/2 of my costs and in exchange, I would revise my reviews. No settlement agreement was signed - this was handled via email & on the phone. I feel this is fair, as I was very happy with my wedding video and feel that 1/2 is a fair price for the photography services we receieved. Would I use them again or recommend them? No. But I can say, once the owner got involved - things moved quickly and were resolved in a fair manner.

I cannot tell you how much I loved George Street. The process of working with them is straightforward and very, very simple. You tell them you're interested, and they give you a phone call, and you're on your way! You get a neat little online portfolio to schedule your photographer and videographer, and you get all of your photos uploaded online and they are hosted there for a year. The person who shows up to your wedding is not somebody from George Street - they're hired through G.S. So your photos will be edited by G.S, but I can promise you, they're going to be stunning all the same. If you have any questions or concerns, they're going to be very thorough and contact you well within 24hrs. It wasn't uncommon for them to just outright email me back an hour or so later. They were all super kind and openly thoughtful!

Although my wedding is not here yet, the process that George Street has has been great. They have great packages and everything available for you in one place. We got to talk to them and see different photogropher's portfolios and found our perfect match. We also have the perfect opportunity to meet out photographer for engagment photos which will allow our photographer to get to know us and our styles. They did all the planning, even gave us suggestions for engagment photo locations. I am so excited and cant wait.

Our photographer was great to work with! She captured some amazing shots without being noticeable, which is exactly what we wanted. Our only wish was that she was more directive during the family photo section in particular, in effort to take some pressure off of us on our big day. But overall, wonderful company to work with!

We had Carlo swoop in as our photographer at the very last minute when we received word about an emergency with the original photographer we had booked. I felt a bit apprehensive as we hadn’t seen Carlo’s work before and pretty much had my heart set on the first photographer, but Carlo sure did not disappoint. The photos he took of us came out absolutely stunning, at times even surreal. Communication was also excellent and the poses he had us do were fun and unique. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George Street to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.

We got married in April of this year and our Videographer, Paul, did a FANTASTIC job. One major thing for us is that we wanted the videographer to just capture the day like a fly on the wall. He did exactly that. Even though we only had 1 videographer, he was able to capture so many angles and moments. It was seriously amazing. I would highly recommend George Street- and in fact I already have to other brides! We were so happy with the end result of our video too, we had no edits. Overall, we had such a good experience!

We absolutely loved our photographer, Milena! She was easy to work with and the photos turned out stunningly beautiful and came back in a month! The only negative was that we were never told by our wedding planning contact about photo permits. We reviewed our day of plan about a month out with the planning team and told them where we planned to take our photos (local park). It wasn't until we had the final call with our photographer the week of our wedding that she mentioned we'd need a permit. It was too late to apply for one so we had to change around our plans for the day, causing issues for transportation, timing, and the look of our photos. The planning team needs to be more informed about permit requirements and tell couples early on.

We recently got married this past September, and were very pleased with how everything went with George Street Photo. They were always very prompt in answering all of our questions before the wedding and made sure that we had all the photos we wanted planned out before the event (and of course, had lots of suggestions!). During the wedding, the photographer captured all of the moments that we wanted and more. Everything turned out really well, and we couldn't have worked with a better vendor!

George Street was fantastic to work with! Everything is well organized and simple to keep track of the planning process. There was always someone available if I had questions and I never felt pressured to “add on” or upgrade. We also had local photographers and videographer even though George Street is nation wide! Highly recommend!

Working with GeorgeStreet was one of the easiest parts of planning an outdoor wedding. They were enjoyable to work with and really partnered with you to make sure you were asking the right questions and thinking through what you wanted out of your wedding pictures to have a perfectly captured day. Working with Sergi was wonderful! HIGHLY recommend.

Sarah D was our lead photographer who took our engagement and wedding photos, and we absolutely loved her! My husband and I both had never had professional photos taken so we were both a little nervous. Sarah made sure to walk us through the process and made the experience fun, so we were able to relax and really be ourselves. On our wedding day, Sarah fit right in and made everyone feel so comfortable. The photos she took were absolutely gorgeous and we will cherish them forever. Thank you, Sarah!

George Street was wonderful. You initially talk to a sales rep who shows you the portfolios of several photographers dutch availability on your day. You choose the one you want and it goes from there. We were given a few options and were immediately captivated by David's photojournalistic style. I felt extremely comfortable on our wedding day, and Iam typically pretty camera shy. David is a true professional. Would highly recommend.

Jenny at George Street was just what we wanted. She took time to scout out locations for us at our venue and was willing to go with our ideas as well. She was very involved with getting our photos and photos of our guests without being overwhelming. She would just appear at the right times. Thank you!

George Street was amazing when it comes to the pictures for my engagement shoot and my wedding! Our consultant that helped us pick our photographer was so sweet and helpful. Our photographer Monica was AMAZING! She was always there to answer my questions and help me with everything! She made me feel so comfortable, like a friend was doing my pictures !! Overall a great company! Would definitely recommend 11 out of 10!!!

I was all excited to have George Street as my Photographer choice. I booked them asap and got my photographer picked. I started to read reviews. To me photos are the biggest thing, being a photographer myself. As I started to read reviews, my thoughts became negative towards George Street. I stressed for almost a year on my choice. The week of my wedding, I spoke with Shannon the Photographer. She is seriously the sweetest lady. She calmed down my nerves and negative thoughts toward GSP. The day before the wedding rain was in the forecast. I kept in touch with Shannon on a plan B to have photos at the Hotel instead of the actual Venue since it was outside. The day of the wedding we decided to do the photos at the hotel. She came up with a new timeline and sent it to me. She met every single expectation, I had. She was kind, generous and made sure I was comfortable and everyone else was! I got a sneak peak of the photos and I am so happy I went with Shannon and George Street!

We used George Street Photos for our wedding and our photographer Sandra was phenomenal. Neither my husband nor I were very comfortable with having our pictures taken and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed for both our engagement and wedding. She took so many beautiful candid photographs and gave direction to make our pictures look both beautiful and natural. She was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her.

This review is so difficult to make because I am torn about our experience with them. We had a relatively good experience with GS, especially with photos, but we had major issues with regards to video. We did our engagement photo shoot in Boston with Jessica, who was an absolute delight to work with. She also did photos for our wedding, along with Sergio. They were both amazing, and the photos came out great. We loved them. With video, due to religious/cultural preferences, we asked for a female videographer. However, we were first assigned a male (I found out by accident actually). At first they didn't budge about changing the videographer, and when they did find a female, they wanted to charge me a travel fee for her. At this point, it wasn't about the money - it was about the principle. As your customer, you should have figured things out on your end without getting me involved. Eventually, they gave in and took care of the travel fee. The day of the wedding - all goes well with video. Kendra was so sweet and managed to catch all the important footage of the evening. However, before the videos went for editing, I made some requests from the editors for things not to include in the highlight video. They've sent it to me twice, not taking into account those requests both times. It's now been 7 months since our wedding, and I still have not gotten that video. I'm pretty tired of waiting at this point, and just hope that someday they'll remember to send the corrected video to me.

We had a great experience with George St. They gave us a choice of photographer based on various portfolios and we were thrilled with Brandon! He was very professional and took great photos. George St. was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to any bride!

Our venue recommended George Street and we're glad that we used them. The process was pretty easy from beginning to end. There was always quick feedback. Everyone was professional. The hardest part was picking the photographer! Brian was positive, energetic, and funny. We made an album of our favorite moments.

I got married in NYC on 8/18/18 and George Street Photo was there to capture the best night of my life. From the beginning, Chelsea has been so great. Every time I had a question or emailed her about anything she responded promptly. It was no trouble at all being in Florida and setting everything up from here. My photographer was Carlo and he was AMAZING!!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. He was professional, courteous, on time, but most importantly he was so accommodating! Every idea that popped into my head for a picture, he ran with. Everyone loved him. He took the most beautiful pictures and never said no to any of my wacky ideas. I am so grateful to them and so happy that I chose them for my big day!!

We used George Street videography and photography for our September 2018 wedding and couldn’t be happier! From our initial meeting to our wedding day they were great at communicating and keeping us in the loop on all details! Our photographer was Joseph and our photos came out beautiful!! From posed shots to candids, he truly captured the day! George street was quick to get us photos sending us a sneak peek within days and all of our photos within two weeks! Our videographer was also great, and was there for every shot. We can’t wait to see how it turns out!

If you like playing Russian Roulette, then this the choice for you! You choose a contracted photographer at random. The only factor you really have to base your decision is a handful of photos (the best of the best edits) by said photographer. Once you make your barely educated guess on a photographer you are locked in. A videographer will be given to you at random about a month before the wedding. They'll jokingly ask your opinion on specific shots you would like during the wedding. I say jokingly because they may or may not get the shots you asked for. I wanted a shot of my husband's face when he saw me coming down the aisle. We had TWO photographers and neither of them got that shot. This is only one of the few requests I made that was disregarded. I'm not even sure why we had a second photographer other than to have her photo bomb what would have been decent pictures. I gave specifics on family dynamics that should be avoided, this too was disregarded leading to awkward, avoidable situations. The pictures you do receive will be unedited and untouched up, basic things like cropping out the 2nd photographer. When we raised our concerns we were only given 50 free edits and an album of random pics that they deemed too dark/overexposed, and honestly you can never get the moments back to capture them at that point. We were told that we would be able to review the footage and make edits to the music in the video before it would be finalized. NOPE! One day we received an email saying our package was on the way and a video was shipped to us. The music skips in the video, transitions are awkward, etc. I cant wait to see how the album turns out... AVOID GEORGE STREET AT ALL COSTS!

We were very pleased with our photography and videography team that George Street chose for us! The website and personal coordinator made it very easy to plan out the timeline for the big day.

We just got married in May and I would recommend George Street to anyone - already have recommended them to someone! Planning the wedding was so stressful and trying to find a photographer that knew what they were doing but not pricey was difficult. I found George Street looking through The Knot and saw that not only were the pictures great quality but also for an affordable price! Most communication was with the wedding coordinator but she was very helpful in answering questions and it was great that they have you fill in all the info for the day of so that a timeline was made up for the photographer. My photographer Konrad knew exactly what he was doing. It was pretty hot out that day but he was so patient in taking our pictures and he captured so many great candids which is what I wanted! Definitely recommended going with George Street!

We had Tiago from George Street take our photos and it was a great experience. I am not comfortable in front of the camera AT ALL. I told this to him when we first met and he made sure to direct us when were taking our photos as a couple. And for the rest of night, I didn't even know he was there. The photos turned out fantastic!

My husband and I loved the package! The price is wonderful and the photos we received worth every penny. Our whole experience is very positive, starting from the first conversation with the wedding coordinator to the final part of receiving and downloading the wonderful wedding pictures.

When we first met Robert, our photographer, we clicked. He was punctual to our engagements photo's and even early the day of our wedding! He was great! He knew exactly what I wanted without even having to ask or tell him. The groom and groomsmen had the associate photographer, Arthur, and they had so many good words about him. He was like another groomsmen, from what the groom told me. He got along great with every, took funny pictures. The videographer, was was great too! The best part about him was that he blended in with everyone at the wedding. It wasn't like the typical videographer that has a huge set up all in everyone's business. He was subtle. I can't wait to see the video. They were all amazing!

Unlike many photographers, George Street works as a sort of clearinghouse - you provide George Street your wedding details/needs, who is supposed to pass all of that info to the photographers you choose from their portfolio. So it's a bit tricky to review the entire process. To be clear, our photographers got a number of memorable photos. However, the process with George Street (the entity) was clumsy, confusing and filled with mistakes. Our coordinator changed on emails (George Street blamed that on an email-merge error on their end), and we were never able to get our coordinator on the phone. It's simply a call bank of random GS employees who type your info into their database. George Street makes you fill out an extensive form to ensure they meet your needs, yet much of that form info was not relayed to the photographer. So we missed out on things like table photos from people who traveled long distances for the wedding. Again, we enjoyed the photographers. I simply wish we could have worked with them independently instead of the awkward, mistake-prone bureaucracy of George Street. The photographers were good but GS was bad, so I'm doing 3 stars to average it out.
