ke very limited English. While we knew he was from the Ukraine we expected him to be able to speak English, not poor broken English. On top of that, he refused to go to a location across the street that my wife wanted a few photos at, he refused to go outside for photos, and he refused to explicitly follow the shot list he was given. He focused on getting ready photos, even though our plan explicitly stated we did not want getting ready photos. He spent way to much time on myself and my party vs time on my wife and her party. We not have a dozen duplicate photos of me. When we first called in about this issue, we found out at least one of the "coordinators" was not aware our photographer did not speak English. The way George Street handles downloads is also frustrating as you have to get a second password to download, you can't choose to download the entire album, you have to select the photos you want to download, thought you can select multiple photos to download, it would just be easier to have a download button for the entire section. We have requested to speak to a manager, and were told to wait for all our images to be ready, we just got those today and when I went to schedule the call we have to wait two weeks and they only operate during work hours, which means my wife will not be on the call as I can take time out of my work day for this but she can't. Update: 9/19/2025 After speaking with George Street, we found them to be very understanding of the concerns we raised. They listened to our feedback with respect, acknowledged that we were not satisfied with the outcome of our wedding day, and offered a complimentary wedding album as a gesture of goodwill. While this does not change the way our wedding was documented, we do appreciate their willingness to make amends and provide us with something meaningful to share with family and friends.

the day with me, and Brooklyn was our associate photographer that worked with my husband. Robert was early as he wanted to check out the ceremony and reception sites. He did a wonderful job capturing the bridesmaids and I getting ready. One of my favorite moments before the wedding was participating in an interview series he has been doing with brides. He asked me to reflect on my relationship, where I hope the next chapter takes us, and what I was looking most forward to during the wedding festivities. I greatly appreciated the time to slow down and discuss what I am grateful for during a hectic day. My husband shared that Brooklyn did a wonderful job making the groomsmen feel at ease, which is no easy feat! My younger brothers have Autism and they were groomsmen. Brooklyn made sure my brothers felt comfortable during the portraits session and worked well with their support workers. Nick (my husband) shared that Brooklyn was wonderful at ensuring he was not melting in the sun before our first look photos. Both Robert and Brooklyn seamlessly communicated to ensure we got all of the pictures we wanted before and after the ceremony! Dejan was our videographer and he was amazing at floating between both getting ready spaces. Our wedding was large and he did a fantastic job communicating with our photography team. He suggested capturing moments that I had not considered before and I greatly look forward to seeing the final product! During the reception, Dejan was flexible with covering a few surprises that we had planned. Fan favorites will be when my brothers gave a surprise speech during the toasts and had their own mother-son dance. My brother, Michael, was singing his heart out in the microphone while his twin, Jack, danced sweetly with my mother. There was not a dry eye in the house! Lastly, Dejan seamlessly captured the fun and laughter during dancing. He has a wonderful eye for detail and caught impromptu moments like dances with my bridesmaids and father-in-law. We are over the moon with our services from George Street and cannot wait to see the final products! Book them today!

It is unacceptable for a professional photographer to not notice and correct this issue before continuing to take dozens more images with this same fatal flaw. Obviously, we can never get the moment back to re-create this moment. The rest of the photos were a mixed back but really pretty mediocre, at best. The quality fell far short of what was advertised in the photographer's own portfolio posted on George Street or on his personal site he shared with us. It would be hard to identify our photos as his work. We were very disappointed, to say the least. This photographer also went on at length about his talents above his peers. Unprofessional and offputting. In whole, we are deeply disappointed and would encourage prospective clients to look elsewhere. Dont flush your money down the drain.

I had several discussions with my sales rep (Sophia Kim) from GS and reviewed several albums to see past work. The value of what our package included next to the pricing almost seemed too good to be true. I can't vouch for all of their photographers and videographers but I can vouch for the ones that were assigned to my wedding. All I can say is they were absolutely incredible. They worked hard to ensure capturing all the media we requested and went above and beyond to get those additional creative shots we weren't thinking of. They were quick and efficient and worked so well with each other to coordinate the best shots and stay out of each others way. They were kind, energetic, full of great ideas, and excited to be there. Can't say enough positive things about this crew. 10/10 would hire all of these amazing people again. We hired out of Chicago IL for a Demotte IN wedding. Terri - lead photographer, April - assistant photographer, & Manuel - videographer. Note: I have not yet received my media edits which will be done by different individuals employed by GS. TBD on the quality of the editing!

We also had Mason as our associate photographer, and he was equally fantastic. Both Misha and Mason were professional, approachable, and made the entire experience feel effortless. We were thrilled to receive our full collection of photos in under two weeks! While we haven’t yet received our wedding video, our videographer, Rashid, left a wonderful impression, and we’re eagerly looking forward to seeing the final product. From start to finish, George Street provided exceptional customer service throughout the wedding planning process. I couldn’t be happier with our experience and the memories captured. Highly recommend!

out what went wrong with previous communication and spoke with me one-on-one to rectify our previous editing concerns. We were able to get more edits that were truly wonderful, and we finally got our album put together. So, yes, this started rocky. But they really do want to make sure you are happy with your photos. So make sure you have nice thorough conversations beforehand with your photographer!! Thank you Kate! Old review: When we first used this vendor for our engagement shoot, it was great. John was the photographer and he was awesome, and we really liked the photos. But once the wedding happened everything went downhill. John was still great, but our second photographer Ron was all over the place. The photos themselves are mostly incredibly bland. Hardly anything special or interesting. Perhaps I needed to spend more time talking to them about specifics, but then once we got the edits we were still disappointed. We got our photos back quickly, and it was clear that was because they were run through some sort of general editing filter of some kind. The color correcting was odd, the cropping and compositions were bizarre, and many looked so grainy they were unusable. Apparently when I said I didn’t like the types of photos where the flash is painfully obvious means no flash will be used even if it’s to make things looks clearer in the first place. We also hardly got any communication after the wedding. We were allowed 50 additional requested edits included in our package, and I had to call the company to find out they were ready. Then the requested edits themselves were so shoddily done. I would rather be told an edit isn’t possible than given mediocre work. If you want photos edited with care, not speed, find someone else. And now, in July, we are still waiting on the proof of our album from back in March. I have never experienced such a lack of communication from a massive company. What an awful experience. And my wedding photos are not even a memory I enjoy looking at. I’m so disappointed.

nt to share my experience all steps of the way. We worked with Maggie first for initial meetings and choosing our photographer. She was knowledgeable and helpful and quick to respond via email to our questions before signing and choosing photographer. After Maggie you get assigned a to a wedding coordinator to assist you until wedding day. We were assigned Nora (who responds from a generic wedding coordinators email, could be a robot for the whole company) and this was frustrating experience. Her responses are delayed, very robotic and cookiecutter as to avoid conflict or issues that arise from questions you come up with as you continue planning and putting your wedding plan into their client portal. This part of the process did not put me at ease as it made me very nervous for my photographers. Which, through GS you only get to meet your photographers/ have their contact information starting the week of the wedding, unless maybe you meet them for an engagement session prior to wedding day. That wasn’t the case for us so I only got to speak with our chosen photographer Sergi and the assistant GS assigned him, Jonathan, the week of the wedding. Nora had not forwarded the photographers our Shots List like we had asked. Moving on to wedding day photos, photographers were on time, however there was an extreme lack of directing and lack of attention to detail from Sergi to get the wedding party lined up nice and in positions for the photos, fluffing the dress train etc. I, the bride, was directing which group shots, solo shots, etc I wanted him to photograph next. He did not utilize the shot list or use creativity with our group. Upon receiving photos (took about 4 weeks which was faster than normal YAY), while there are many great photos, there are too many that are CRINGEWORTHY. The positions Sergi placed bridesmaids or family members in for the photos put me in tears because it ruins the photos. Whether it was awkward placement, or a groomsman covering my bridesmaids, or putting a family member on the other side of the staircase railing when there was plenty of room to fit the family member on the staircase for the family photos… the list goes on. Its so disappointing that this lack of attention to detail and spacing happened because of course these wedding photos cannot be redone…. The editing from the GS team was done well however. I would not recommend George Street for your wedding photos, despite what seems like great pricing. Finally I had to continually follow up with GS to see what the delay was in sending our final proof of our photo album that comes with the package… again a very generic response from Nora with no explanation for the delay.

ricing and initial consultations/reviews of their sample portfolios. We are very happy that we went with George Street. From start to finish our interactions were great. Their team was very responsive. We were allowed to select a primary photographer and even though our initial selection was unavailable our subsequent selection was top notch. We had two photographers and one videographer at our event. They were very pleasant and talented and made sure to get all the photos we wanted. We just received our photos from our wedding day and couldn’t be happier. The video has not arrived yet, but we are looking forward to it. Overall, working with George Street has been great. They were pleasant to work with, reasonably priced and the pictures were top quality. We highly recommend them and thank them for capturing such nice memories of our wedding day.

After voicing our concerns to them after our wedding we received an automated message about the company "working to address these issues" while doing absolutely nothing about it. George Street was very concerned about chasing us down for a $35 parking reimbursement while neglecting how TERRIBLE experience was and the portal showed “no outstanding balance”. The overall pictures are okay, I'm disappointed how most of them are cut out and had no skyline views as expected in our "destination spots" our portrait pics. We have a few that are good but most of them are awkward angles or eyes half closed/hair in my face/double chin.

The package we chose was perfect for our wedding. It was great having two photographers so that we could have photos in two places at once.

photo was taken by the photographer and the company claims no photo was ever taken. Truly a disgrace that I will not have a single photo of my brother and I on my wedding day. The photographer had no problem taking 50 photos of the sign of the hotel that we got ready in. If you want photos of you and your loved ones, do not hire them.

He provided no direction or creativity what so ever- it all had to come from the bride/MOH which is not a job you want to be worried about on your wedding day. There are multiple photos that have the other photographer/videographers equipment in it. There are also multiple shots that are off center or you cannot see family members faces because they are standing behind someone. Many photos outside have us staring directly into the sun with squinted eyes. After receiving our photos back and being less than pleased, I did not have high hopes for the video. I was right to have low expectations as the video was so much worse than the pictures. For more than half of the best mans speech the camera is facing the floor. The transitions between clips are absolutely terrible and choppy, and again there was very little creativity or direction provided by the videographer. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the assistant photographer and the customer service team. The assistant photographer photographed the groomsmen and did a fantastic job with creativity and direction. The customer service team is very responsive and helpful. I am grateful for the handful of good pictures we have to remember the day but over all very disappointed. After this experience the team reached out and were very helpful in making things better! Ashley did everything in her power to correct the wrongs and I am very appreciative of her!

s house. They were super friendly and personable, and fit in very well with mine and my groomsmen's weird sense of humor. They really made this part a lot of fun. The photos came out absolutely fantastic and the video is even better. They did such a nice job with the edit - especially the audio. Justin really went above and beyond for us I would say. He got some great, low-angle shots that turned out awesome by actually getting down and laying on the floor! I had also mentioned that I wanted a picture with my groomsmen smoking cigars on the balcony earlier in the day. Then on his way out, he remembered and met me out on the balcony where we were smoking our cigars and got some awesome pictures that I will cherish forever. Overall, fantastic experience and I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose them for your next big event.

tle skeptical on how we would act when in front of the camera, but David quickly made us both feel at ease and natural. We had 3 locations that were special to us, and David accommodated each. The pictures were exactly what we imagined for our engagement shoot. On our wedding day, David made it all feel easy and fun on what can be such a stressful day. He was mindful of special moments and so great to have around throughout the day. Our guests also commented on his infectious energy and their positive interactions with him and his team. We continue to relieve the joy and excitement we felt on our wedding day, going through our photos.

Our photos did take about 8 weeks to comeback, but that was to be expected with getting married in a big city during peak season. We got over 1,500 pictures, each one better than the next. We will cherish these photos forever and we are so glad we picked George Street to capture our special day.

George street even checked in on us the week of the wedding to ensure everything was all good to go! Wendy’s assistant photographer Kevin was also just as amazing! photographer Marta did a great job with our engagement pictures! Due to unforeseen circumstances, we received a new photographer the week of our wedding, Nicole. It was like we had known her the whole time! She, her assistant Jojo, and videographer Bart made sure we got all the shots we wanted for our big day! They were so easy to work with and I can’t wait to see our wedding-day photos/video!

He was very professional helping with photo shots that I might have forgotten. he made my husband feel comfortable because he doesn't like photos. he kept in communication with me leading up to the event to make sure everything was ready to go. he was prompt and on time which is very important for a tight timeline for a wedding. he took the time to review the venue to find the best places for photos. he has a rimless photojournalist style which is exactly what I was looking for! 10/10 would recommend

Our wedding coordinator, Chelsea, was super communicative and regularly reached out for any questions or to remind about upcoming payments or deadlines. Unfortunately there was a last second issue where our videographer had to be replaced due to a death in the family and Chelsea took care of all the new arrangements and had us a new videographer confirmed before I even had time to read her initial email informing me of the situation; she was very thorough and exceedingly fast to repair what could have been a disaster! Finally, our day of team, Jocelyn, Jaime, and lead photographer Kelsey Barth were beyond fantastic. From our first look to the last permutation of family after the ceremony they kept the relevant parties where they were needed to get all the moments we knew we would want to capture. We personally are not very good at selecting specific shots or anything like that so they were also very happy to lend their expertise which was sorely appreciated.

We went with a lead and assistant photographer, Terri and Thais and our videographer was Gigi. Absolute joys to work with! Terri was our lead and stayed with the girls all day. She gave great direction and understands the angles women want. She allowed us a great variety of shots and made us so, so comfortable. She even got choked up a few times and I felt how truly thoughtful and connected she was. Thais stayed with the boys and they loved her! Gigi, our photographer, couldn’t have been more nice. She knows how to handle the camera, multiple, even! All my guests commented on how she was such a tiny woman but she whipped her equipment around like a pro! Nothing about their work seemed intrusive. They were helpful when they saw we could use a hand, they made great conversation but were also quiet when they thought they needed to be. I was worried about having three people there with equipment and cameras during our intimate ceremony but I never even noticed they were there and my guests said they didn't either. Even though we had a winter wedding and it was chilly outside, they knew I wanted to get sunset pictures if we could and they were excited and more than happy to do so. All three of them were truly hype girls and professionals. I adored them and can’t say enough about the experience! Thank you!

ailable well after we had already picked them and submitted our payment. We selected a second person and then, surprise, our second choice was no longer available. We didn’t want to restart our entire photo vendor search so we selected a third option and moved forward. On the day of, the photographer was not accommodating or easy to work with. We had a few things that we wanted done in a certain way (family photos, etc.) and he just made everything difficult. Any minor ask immediately became a debate with him, which is not helpful on a day when you have very little time. We weren’t pushy at all and we only asked for minor things, but it became clear that he was only going to do what he wanted unless you wanted to spend the 10 mins repeatedly asking. All said, we would have looked past this if the pictures were stellar. They were decidedly not. Lots of blurry pics, strange stylistic choices that came out bad, crooked photos. There were enough decent ones that we can at least have some to share, but obviously that’s not the line you want to be saying about your wedding photos. If photos aren’t a priority then George Street is fine but we wished we had picked someone else.

You were both especially amazing during the first look photography session! I loved laughing and sharing these new memories with everyone. Running around Island Park was so much fun. The pictures turned out amazing, and I loved how beautiful everything turned out.

Mario was patient and understanding when it came to my requests and thoughts for pictures, and also had lots of creative ideas for us as well. He was helpful during the reception when we wanted to take pictures with people, but still have time to enjoy cocktail hour. He and the team at George Street is quick with the turn around time to get photos back. We hope to use Mario and the George Street team again in the future!

I quickly realized there had to have been missing pictures (everything was side views, clearly from the second photographer) ….they told me "Oh sorry some were missing" they then sent me 800 more pictures that were not in any sort of order and were all YELLOW AND ORANGE!! (clearly they weren't forgotten they just didn't want to send these awful photos. When I complained, the response I got was "Looks like the lead photographer had trouble with his lighting" and "choose 20 of your favorites and we can edit them for free" ….so I had to swift through over 1,000 pictures to pick out ONLY 20 to get edited , which didn't even turn out good anyways. Not to mention there are maybe 3 pictures of just me and my husband. When you go to sign the contract they show you examples of all these beautiful wedding videos. The video is FAR FROM what they show you. You can see the photographers and my videographer walking past the video camera, so unprofessional looking and even spelled my husbands name wrong the list goes on and on so disappointing for so much money and a day you can never take back. You think anyone reached out to apologize for such a horrible experience? NO

uld not recommend calling in and agreeing to speak to anyone besides your assigned coordinator. I found it more efficient to just email. The portal they use is fantastic! Everything is very streamlined and anything you might mislabel will be gone over by your coordinator and clarified! You can make tons of notes about what you are envisioning for your images although they captured basically all the typical detail shots, formal portraits, and artful candids you could want! We loved our 2 photographers (lead- Ilze and associate- Kristen) and our videographer (Douglas). Ilze and Douglas were very easygoing and helped me especially to relax and let my personality shine through. They made my hubby who is not a huge fan of taking pictures smile genuinely for nearly every photo (I mean, your cheeks get tired after awhile hahaha). Ilze made sure to have us take breaks to just breath and blink so we wouldn't look stiff from too many shots in a row. We have gotten so many compliments on all our images and are really looking forward to receiving our video! We would recommend GSP to couples getting married for their talent and their value!
