r talking with the team at George Street, we better understood ways we could break this process down. The best part was being able to understand the style of photos we wanted and see portfolios of photographers that were sorted by just that. After seeing the style we knew we wanted, we were able to get connected with the perfect photographer. Story over? not even close. Our original photographer had unforeseen circumstances arise that prevented her from taking our wedding (worst nightmare for anyone planning a wedding come true)! This is where George Street was able to come back, understand what we needed, and quickly (and professionally) ease our worries. We got connected then with a new photographer who was stylistically in the same lane as what we were looking for. We wound up have the best experience with her!!! Our wedding photos were literally perfect and we avoided a very stressful situation by working with such a great team at George Street! Seriously the perfect fit!

ot taking photos we asked for, not taking them how we asked, losing a bunch and lying to us, editing them to look worse than the originals, 50% were blurry and/or crooked, then not care about any of it because we already paid. Rude, amateur photographers and totally useless 'coordinators' who do nothing but hide behind a computer with copy and paste responses that they look at once a week. We were conned into hiring George Street by a very good sales person and then let down every single step of the way, even months after our wedding. Steer VERY clear of this inconsistent and incompetent company. They should be ashamed of themselves. We've been met with lie after lie after lie. I'm still sick to my stomach every time I look at the photos. Can't believe this is what we're stuck with the rest of our lives.

snow during our photography session and our photographer was willing to do some climbing through the snow to get good pictures of our group. We have not seen the pictures yet, but we are excited for them and believe they will turn out great!

nd headache. Also the price is somewhat reasonable (not dirt cheap, but reasonable). We were given few photographers to choose from. We chose a photographer in October and in Jan they called us and they said the photographer backed out. I realized then that there is nothing that ties the photographer to the contract and that they can walk away any time so no guarantees! This was luckily a blessing in disguise as the photographer that we chose after was absolutely FANTASTIC. She took amazing shots and saved the day. We cannot choose the assistant photographer or the videographer. The assistant wasn't very proactive and stood still occasionally taking few photos that cut the family or few of the bridal party members. We did not realize that the photographer don't actually edit the photos. We received our sneak peaks 6 weeks after the wedding and I cried when I saw them because they were just horrible! Shots with eyes closed, no editing or basic black and white filter, people showing in the pictures and they gave us all of that under the name "editor's choice." I thought for sure we were doomed because those photos are supposed to be the "best." They later gave us the rest of the photos 2 weeks after. They took 8 weeks to "edit" and I saw no editing! The proof is that the photos on the "other" folder where they dump all the photos look exactly like the supposedly edited ones. Basic cropping and editing was not done!! pictures with my bridesmaid running after fixing my vail could have easily been cropped but no they couldn't even do that. GS is hard to reach and there isn't a human contact most of the time. I had to work outside of them to make sure our day went perfect and I'm so glad I did. We were blessed with an awesome photographer who saved the day with few amazing shots but I would not recommend GS AT ALL. Oh and they have a "referral bonus" I was referred by a friend who got married in 2019. I called twice to remind them to send her her bonus and they never did. I also referred my brother who used GS for his wedding a month after mine and I did not get anything either!

Punctual, thoughtful, and joyful throughout the day- he made the process of capturing film enjoyable and listened to our film goals. Would highly recommend working with David!!! And we can't say enough good things about working with Cherie our photographer . Not only did she understand my vision for photos, but she was able to leverage her years of experience and capture special moments that I didn't plan for as a Bride. She was a calming and warm presence throughout the day, and I can't imagine working with anyone else for my wedding photographer. If you're considering working with Cherie, don't hesitate! She is the best, and would highly recommend her time and again.

was on a deployment in Kuwait, he was supposed to come home early July, with plenty of time before the wedding. Like many in 2020, COVID pushed his coming home date back. We had to postpone our wedding. George Street was so understanding and didn't charge us for moving our wedding date, they worked with us and we got a new date with them and they helped us out. Although, I didn't get the photographer I originally picked out, I still loved every picture I got and LOVED our wedding video!! I also loved that I made my profile and that I was able to put how the day was going to go. They really worked with my wedding party and did a fantastic job. I had a 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen and took pictures downtown and the photographer did a great job getting everyones attention and taking great photos!

ith similar quality! The process of hiring them and picking a photographer was great! We had Shawna who was AMAZING and our engagement and wedding photos turned out wonderfully, we are in LOVE. Working with George Street overall was pretty smooth and they were fairly responsive. The one downside of not having the photographer own and edit the images is that we didn't get a sneak peek. We got our engagement photos about 3.5-4 weeks after they were taken, and after a lot of pestering from me we got about 10 a few days before that. I didn't even bother with the wedding photos, and was pleased that we got them all about 4 weeks after the wedding and the quality of the photos makes up for it! This is a much less hands off option so if you want constant access to your photographer for advice, questions, opinions about outfits or rainy day options then this maybe isn't the best option for you, but if you want great quality images for a pretty good price this would be great!

The photographer made sure family photos were quickly so we could also attend part of the cocktail hour She had also looked at the bride’s pinterest before the wedding day to get a feel for her style and what she liked. The company and photographer were easy to work with.

We went to a local park and our main photographer was already familiar with the area and knew of neat places in the park we could go for some unique photos!

We decided to go with Heidi and she was great! She captured the best moments of the perfect day. We could have used some more direction in our group photos, but with one photographer and a large group of people, there's only so much we could expect. Given the circumstances we were happy with our photos! And the previews and final photos were delivered quickly. The wedding was less than a month ago and we already have all of our photos!

knew it was a HUGE deal to make a good decision on choosing the perfect photographer to capture every special moment on our big day. Choosing George Street was the best decision. In the beginning, I had a meeting with the wedding coordinator and we looked at a few photographers work and style and I was able to choose our photographer, which was Shawna. George Street was friendly, professional and always checking in from the moment we booked with them, even until now after our wedding day. We had an Engagement photo shoot with Shawna, and it was the first time we had professional pictures taken. I immediately knew choosing her as our photographer was right for us. On our wedding day, she was professional, easy going, listened to what we wanted and was fun to have around! Our pictures are so much more than I imagined they could be. I love Shawna's fun/romantic style! I HIGHLY recommend George Street Photography!

s we hadn’t seen Carlo’s work before and pretty much had my heart set on the first photographer, but Carlo sure did not disappoint. The photos he took of us came out absolutely stunning, at times even surreal. Communication was also excellent and the poses he had us do were fun and unique. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George Street to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.

I would highly recommend George Street- and in fact I already have to other brides! We were so happy with the end result of our video too, we had no edits. Overall, we had such a good experience!

never told by our wedding planning contact about photo permits. We reviewed our day of plan about a month out with the planning team and told them where we planned to take our photos (local park). It wasn't until we had the final call with our photographer the week of our wedding that she mentioned we'd need a permit. It was too late to apply for one so we had to change around our plans for the day, causing issues for transportation, timing, and the look of our photos. The planning team needs to be more informed about permit requirements and tell couples early on.
