The lead photographer was rude to family and guests. She honestly didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Almost like she had somewhere else she needed to be. Christine was asked by my father and father in law to get a photo of them and she refused. Several of the photos I requested be taken were complete missed. I’ll never get those moments back and now I don’t have request pictures with my family. Several who are older in age. Not to mention people who matter to me and my husband. I sent in a photo shot list. I’m heartbroken I don’t have these pictures. On top of missing photos, Christine was very rude to both of my parents, bridesmaids and other guests. At one point she told my dad to put his phone away. This was after the ceremony the only time we asked for phones to be put away. We wanted candid photos from our guests. Several guests let us know they did not feel they could. During portraits both photographers kept making comments on my vail and letting it drag. My bridesmaids who made the vail had to snap at them to get them to stop. The editing was not great there are photos where you can see tables in the shot and it was in the editor’s choice. Acne and blemishes were not taken out. Group shots that aren’t centered. Non of the photos taken are edited by the photographer. That wasn’t told to us upfront and would have swayed us to a different photographer group.

George Street did a great job organizing our engagement session and wedding day photography schedules. They gave us an excellent deal on our package, which included the photographer, assistant photographer, and videographer, and our photo album and parent albums. The only thing was that there was a lot of communication over a month prior to the wedding, asking for details we had not yet finalized. This resulted in us feeling rushed and had to also finalize other details further in advance than we would have preferred. The week leading up to the wedding, they also had us rearranging our day of photography schedule, which also affected other vendors, so it made the week before a little more stressful. Overall, the photos turned out great and the editing is amazing. I would recommend George Street to anyone who is engaged and looking for a photography company.

George Street helped us through the entire wedding planning process. From the initial meeting to learn more information we were then streamlined to our wedding coordinator who helped organize all of the details. The plan in portal was an amazing resource that helped us clarify the timeline of our day and organize the details with our photographer. We are giving it 4 stars because we did not receive any sneak peak photos right away and had to wait over a month to see any photos. The sneak peaks we did receive were released to us the day before the rest of the photos so it didn’t feel very special or helpful to have them. Otherwise, we were so pleased with our experience!

George Street Photography did an amazing job with my wedding and engagement photo shoots. Our photographer was very communicative and professional. He was on time and had great ideas. The photos turned out amazing! I am giving 4 stars because it was not communicated to me that I had to pick the photos and design the wedding album on my own but after that, they worked with me and responded quickly. We communicated with Jennifer beforehand about our venue and photo expectations. She was so helpful and met all of our needs. We have not received the video yet, but if the rest of the product is any indication, the video will turn out to be great. Elizabeth and Janelle were AMAZING!!! We are usually a little awkward getting our photos taken, but they made everything effortless and fun. We could not be happier with our experience from start to finish. Especially with Covid, we had to reschedule multiple times. working with the coordinators was easy and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the whole process.

I definitely recommend George Street Photo! The price is reasonable and the service is fantastic. They provide coordinators that answer every question you have and rely what pictures/poses you want to your photographer. The photographer I had was very knowledgeable, kind, and helped the day go smoothly. My husband and I are camera shy, but her bright attitude and guidance made us comfortable. She even helped me fix my hair after it was windblown. The engagement and wedding photos turned out perfect!

George Street was super polished and professional to work with throughout our planning process - especially when we needed to re-schedule because of COVID. Our photographers and videographer were pleasant to be around and helped our day move seamlessly, even staying a bit longer to ensure they captured the important moments. Most importantly, they provided beautiful photography and videography. George Street also gave us all of our files (you get them all - the good, the bad and the ugly!). But it was great to have options to choose between. And they have no sneaky upcharges along the way which was much appreciated! The planning process was super buttoned up and I felt confident and comfortable working with them along the way.

I would highly recommend George Street to anyone who doesn't want to worry and stress about photography for their wedding! From our Engagement to our Wedding, they were absolutely fantastic! They helped us plan everything we needed which really took all the stress off of me. They were there to answer any question I had immediately; I was never left waiting days for a response. Danielle and Lynn were amazing photographers. They were patient and had a lot of vision. Me and Troy didn’t have any specific poses we wanted so we left it up to them to surprise us and from the couple of pictures that I’ve seen, they did really right by us. They made some of our photos in Tower Grove Park look like they were directly in a deep forest or that we were in Europe. I’ve always been camera shy but by the end, I was moving around comfortably. They both worked really hard in the heat for me and Troy. Great photographers. Great planning services and people to help.

This is the ONLY wedding vendor we hired who refused to give us the option to cancel with them after our wedding was cancelled due to COVID-19 and the stay at home orders. Every other wedding vendor has been great and understanding and went the extra mile to help us decide our options (postpone, cancel, etc.) They have also been hounding us for the remaining balance after we had to postpone indefinitely which we are not comfortable paying at this time since WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING BOOKED YET and I KNOW they will not give us that money back if we do end up having to cancel. I will never recommend this horrible company!!!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience with George Street Photo & Video. The process of hiring them and selecting our photographer was made incredibly simple. Someone from their team was there to help us every step of the way--from deciding on a package, to setting our photographer's timeline, to finalizing our plan for the wedding day. Our photographer was easy to work with, punctual, and captured some wonderful moments. We paid for a single photographer for 8 hours and received over 1000 digital negatives. We've really enjoyed going through our pictures and reliving our special day.

We got engaged in October 2018 and wanted to capture great pictures for our engagement and wedding. We didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars, but still wanted quality photos. George Street was perfect. We are not candid photo people, but our photographer made us feel so comfortable and natural. Our pictures for our engagement session and on our wedding day were amazing. It will be hard to choose from all of them!!

My Husband and I used George Street Photography for our wedding and we are grateful we found Brad who really outdid himself with our wedding photos. Package wise we just needed one photographer with experience and a portfolio to show with that experience. The Wedding Coordinator Jordan was very helpful in answering any questions we had and made sure that up until the week of our wedding that all our questions were answered. Our photographer Brad Blackburn was AMAZING! If you ever have a chance to work with him he does amazing work. He became one with nature through a lot of our shots. We were able to be at ease around him and my husband and I weren’t as nervous in our photos. He had a knack with large groups and some of the time we didn’t even know he was there because he was that great of a photographer. We had left some time at the end of our night to do some wedding photos that would be more fun and we was able to use an awesome device called a pixel stick and it was mesmerizing to be in the moment and see the amazing works of art he was able to create using us and his camera. We are so grateful to Brad and George Street Photography and can’t wait for our photos.

We got married back in 9/2018, but we recently bought our first house and have been hanging up all of our beautiful wedding photos. I realized I never wrote about our wonderful experience working with George Street for our big day. My husband and I were completely lost with wedding planning, and were even considering having a relative with a nice camera take pictures for the wedding, but then we found George Street! They were in contact right away, set up a phone meeting to get an idea of what we were looking for, and sent multiple photographers portfolios who were available, so we could pick someone who matched our style. They had a special on engagement photos, and we had not considered them, but it was a great experience and I highly recommend them as we got to meet our photographer, and were much more comfortable in front of the camera the day of the wedding. In preparation for the wedding, our photographer was in touch to make sure she was up-to-date with the locations and schedule for the day, and had us fill out a detailed questionnaire which helped her to figure out what was most important to "us," so she could be sure to photograph it. Also, props for getting our families organized for all the group photos so quickly and efficiently! One of the best things about George Street is that no matter which photographer you pick, ALL the photos are sent off to be edited by professionals at the home office, and ALL of them (yes, even the outtakes) come back perfectly edited and un-watermarked so quickly. We were sent an email that our pictures were ready 2wks later while we were still on our honeymoon! You own all of your wedding pictures with one download through their website, and you have the option to buy prints from GS, or upload them somewhere else if you wish. Working with George Street was a fantastic experience, and relieved so much of our anxiety leading up to the wedding knowing that they thought of everything already. =) Can't recommend them enough!

My husband and I were married at the end of August and used George Street Photo for our photography. The customer service provided was great and the site was easy to use. The site allowed us to set up a schedule of events for the wedding and where we would like for the photographer to be/when. Our photographer (Thomas) was awesome! He had his work cut out for him as we only had the budget for one photographer. He worked amazing under the hectic conditions though! And the photo's turned out great!

As a graphic designer, I am VERY picky about photographers. I was struggling to find a photographer that I liked within my budget until I found George Street. I loved that we got four photographers to choose from and a representative to walk us through the whole process. The planning website was also very helpful for planning the timeline of the entire day. We absolutely love the photos we received from both our engagement shoot and our wedding. They are gorgeous! John and Lynn captured our day perfectly.

We loved every moment of working with George Street. When we decided to book with them, we saw portfolios of available talent for our wedding day. After we made our selection of who we thought would fit our style best, we were able to use the online portal to create a timeline. Our wedding coordinator was helpful in answering any and all of our questions. A week before our wedding, we were contacted by our photographer and videographer to go over the timeline and get to know each other better. From there, they took the lead. Our photographers, John and Lynn, were a BLAST! They took charge of the timeline to keep things moving and got some beautiful shots. Lynn also folded pocket squares for the groomsmen! Our videographer, David, was AMAZING! He has a way of capturing things in such a natural way that you don’t even notice him. Thank you, George Street Team! You made our day easy and fun. We can’t wait to see the photos and video.

My husband and I used George Street for our wedding this past weekend and are so happy with our decision! We had Brad as the lead photographer, Lynn as the association photographer and Joshua as the videographer and they all did an AMAZING job! We had so much fun with all of them and they did a great job coordinating our large families and wedding party throughout the entire day! I loved the fact that we got to sort of pair/match with photographers and videographer based off the online test we took. The online portal was so helpful for the scheduling our photo locations and very easy for making all of our payments. The Wedding Coordinator Nick was also very helpful answering my questions prior to the wedding day and was always quick to answer my emails and voicemails! We picked George Street for many reasons. Their prices were super competitive, they had tons of package options for what we were looking to have for our day- we did 2 photogs, and 1 videographer- and their online planning portal was an amazing tool to use. Very easy to work with & great photographs!

I worked with John Lewis in the St. Louis area and he was so fantastic. Truly made the day more special and fun! He was willing to go the extra mile to get the best shots and taking pictures to really capture the moment! Before the wedding using the portal to plan out the day was so great and everything was in one place to be able to reference the daily plan and budget!

Although my wedding is not here yet, the process that George Street has has been great. They have great packages and everything available for you in one place. We got to talk to them and see different photogropher's portfolios and found our perfect match. We also have the perfect opportunity to meet out photographer for engagment photos which will allow our photographer to get to know us and our styles. They did all the planning, even gave us suggestions for engagment photo locations. I am so excited and cant wait.

Our photographer was great to work with! She captured some amazing shots without being noticeable, which is exactly what we wanted. Our only wish was that she was more directive during the family photo section in particular, in effort to take some pressure off of us on our big day. But overall, wonderful company to work with!

We had Carlo swoop in as our photographer at the very last minute when we received word about an emergency with the original photographer we had booked. I felt a bit apprehensive as we hadn’t seen Carlo’s work before and pretty much had my heart set on the first photographer, but Carlo sure did not disappoint. The photos he took of us came out absolutely stunning, at times even surreal. Communication was also excellent and the poses he had us do were fun and unique. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George Street to anyone in need of a wedding photographer.

We got married in April of this year and our Videographer, Paul, did a FANTASTIC job. One major thing for us is that we wanted the videographer to just capture the day like a fly on the wall. He did exactly that. Even though we only had 1 videographer, he was able to capture so many angles and moments. It was seriously amazing. I would highly recommend George Street- and in fact I already have to other brides! We were so happy with the end result of our video too, we had no edits. Overall, we had such a good experience!

We absolutely loved our photographer, Milena! She was easy to work with and the photos turned out stunningly beautiful and came back in a month! The only negative was that we were never told by our wedding planning contact about photo permits. We reviewed our day of plan about a month out with the planning team and told them where we planned to take our photos (local park). It wasn't until we had the final call with our photographer the week of our wedding that she mentioned we'd need a permit. It was too late to apply for one so we had to change around our plans for the day, causing issues for transportation, timing, and the look of our photos. The planning team needs to be more informed about permit requirements and tell couples early on.

We recently got married this past September, and were very pleased with how everything went with George Street Photo. They were always very prompt in answering all of our questions before the wedding and made sure that we had all the photos we wanted planned out before the event (and of course, had lots of suggestions!). During the wedding, the photographer captured all of the moments that we wanted and more. Everything turned out really well, and we couldn't have worked with a better vendor!

George Street was fantastic to work with! Everything is well organized and simple to keep track of the planning process. There was always someone available if I had questions and I never felt pressured to “add on” or upgrade. We also had local photographers and videographer even though George Street is nation wide! Highly recommend!

Working with GeorgeStreet was one of the easiest parts of planning an outdoor wedding. They were enjoyable to work with and really partnered with you to make sure you were asking the right questions and thinking through what you wanted out of your wedding pictures to have a perfectly captured day. Sarah D was our lead photographer who took our engagement and wedding photos, and we absolutely loved her! My husband and I both had never had professional photos taken so we were both a little nervous. Sarah made sure to walk us through the process and made the experience fun, so we were able to relax and really be ourselves. George Street was wonderful. You initially talk to a sales rep who shows you the portfolios of several photographers dutch availability on your day. You choose the one you want and it goes from there. We were given a few options and were immediately captivated by David's photojournalistic style. I felt extremely comfortable on our wedding day, and Iam typically pretty camera shy. David is a true professional. Would highly recommend.

Jenny at George Street was just what we wanted. She took time to scout out locations for us at our venue and was willing to go with our ideas as well. She was very involved with getting our photos and photos of our guests without being overwhelming. She would just appear at the right times. Thank you!

I was all excited to have George Street as my Photographer choice. I booked them asap and got my photographer picked. I started to read reviews. To me photos are the biggest thing, being a photographer myself. As I started to read reviews, my thoughts became negative towards George Street. I stressed for almost a year on my choice. The week of my wedding, I spoke with Shannon the Photographer. She is seriously the sweetest lady. She calmed down my nerves and negative thoughts toward GSP. The day before the wedding rain was in the forecast. I kept in touch with Shannon on a plan B to have photos at the Hotel instead of the actual Venue since it was outside. The day of the wedding we decided to do the photos at the hotel. She came up with a new timeline and sent it to me. She met every single expectation, I had. She was kind, generous and made sure I was comfortable and everyone else was! I got a sneak peak of the photos and I am so happy I went with Shannon and George Street!

We used George Street Photos for our wedding and our photographer Sandra was phenomenal. Neither my husband nor I were very comfortable with having our pictures taken and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed for both our engagement and wedding. She took so many beautiful candid photographs and gave direction to make our pictures look both beautiful and natural. She was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her.

This review is so difficult to make because I am torn about our experience with them. We had a relatively good experience with GS, especially with photos, but we had major issues with regards to video. We did our engagement photo shoot in Boston with Jessica, who was an absolute delight to work with. She also did photos for our wedding, along with Sergio. They were both amazing, and the photos came out great. We loved them. With video, due to religious/cultural preferences, we asked for a female videographer. However, we were first assigned a male (I found out by accident actually). At first they didn't budge about changing the videographer, and when they did find a female, they wanted to charge me a travel fee for her. At this point, it wasn't about the money - it was about the principle. As your customer, you should have figured things out on your end without getting me involved. Eventually, they gave in and took care of the travel fee. The day of the wedding - all goes well with video. Kendra was so sweet and managed to catch all the important footage of the evening. However, before the videos went for editing, I made some requests from the editors for things not to include in the highlight video. They've sent it to me twice, not taking into account those requests both times. It's now been 7 months since our wedding, and I still have not gotten that video. I'm pretty tired of waiting at this point, and just hope that someday they'll remember to send the corrected video to me.

We had a great experience with George St. They gave us a choice of photographer based on various portfolios and we were thrilled with Brandon! He was very professional and took great photos. George St. was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to any bride!

Our venue recommended George Street and we're glad that we used them. The process was pretty easy from beginning to end. There was always quick feedback. Everyone was professional. The hardest part was picking the photographer! Brian was positive, energetic, and funny. We made an album of our favorite moments.

I got married in NYC on 8/18/18 and George Street Photo was there to capture the best night of my life. From the beginning, Chelsea has been so great. Every time I had a question or emailed her about anything she responded promptly. It was no trouble at all being in Florida and setting everything up from here. My photographer was Carlo and he was AMAZING!!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. He was professional, courteous, on time, but most importantly he was so accommodating! Every idea that popped into my head for a picture, he ran with. Everyone loved him. He took the most beautiful pictures and never said no to any of my wacky ideas. I am so grateful to them and so happy that I chose them for my big day!!

We used George Street videography and photography for our September 2018 wedding and couldn’t be happier! From our initial meeting to our wedding day they were great at communicating and keeping us in the loop on all details! Our photographer was Joseph and our photos came out beautiful!! From posed shots to candids, he truly captured the day! George street was quick to get us photos sending us a sneak peek within days and all of our photos within two weeks! Our videographer was also great, and was there for every shot. We can’t wait to see how it turns out!

If you like playing Russian Roulette, then this the choice for you! You choose a contracted photographer at random. The only factor you really have to base your decision is a handful of photos (the best of the best edits) by said photographer. Once you make your barely educated guess on a photographer you are locked in. A videographer will be given to you at random about a month before the wedding. They'll jokingly ask your opinion on specific shots you would like during the wedding. I say jokingly because they may or may not get the shots you asked for. I wanted a shot of my husband's face when he saw me coming down the aisle. We had TWO photographers and neither of them got that shot. This is only one of the few requests I made that was disregarded. I'm not even sure why we had a second photographer other than to have her photo bomb what would have been decent pictures. I gave specifics on family dynamics that should be avoided, this too was disregarded leading to awkward, avoidable situations. The pictures you do receive will be unedited and untouched up, basic things like cropping out the 2nd photographer. When we raised our concerns we were only given 50 free edits and an album of random pics that they deemed too dark/overexposed, and honestly you can never get the moments back to capture them at that point. We were told that we would be able to review the footage and make edits to the music in the video before it would be finalized. NOPE! One day we received an email saying our package was on the way and a video was shipped to us. The music skips in the video, transitions are awkward, etc. I cant wait to see how the album turns out... AVOID GEORGE STREET AT ALL COSTS!

We just got married in May and I would recommend George Street to anyone - already have recommended them to someone! Planning the wedding was so stressful and trying to find a photographer that knew what they were doing but not pricey was difficult. I found George Street looking through The Knot and saw that not only were the pictures great quality but also for an affordable price! Most communication was with the wedding coordinator but she was very helpful in answering questions and it was great that they have you fill in all the info for the day of so that a timeline was made up for the photographer. My photographer Konrad knew exactly what he was doing. It was pretty hot out that day but he was so patient in taking our pictures and he captured so many great candids which is what I wanted! Definitely recommended going with George Street!

We had Tiago from George Street take our photos and it was a great experience. I am not comfortable in front of the camera AT ALL. I told this to him when we first met and he made sure to direct us when were taking our photos as a couple. And for the rest of night, I didn't even know he was there. The photos turned out fantastic!

My husband and I loved the package! The price is wonderful and the photos we received worth every penny. Our whole experience is very positive, starting from the first conversation with the wedding coordinator to the final part of receiving and downloading the wonderful wedding pictures.

When we first met Robert, our photographer, we clicked. He was punctual to our engagements photo's and even early the day of our wedding! He was great! He knew exactly what I wanted without even having to ask or tell him. The groom and groomsmen had the associate photographer, Arthur, and they had so many good words about him. He was like another groomsmen, from what the groom told me. He got along great with every, took funny pictures. The videographer, was was great too! The best part about him was that he blended in with everyone at the wedding. It wasn't like the typical videographer that has a huge set up all in everyone's business. He was subtle. I can't wait to see the video. They were all amazing!

Unlike many photographers, George Street works as a sort of clearinghouse - you provide George Street your wedding details/needs, who is supposed to pass all of that info to the photographers you choose from their portfolio. So it's a bit tricky to review the entire process. To be clear, our photographers got a number of memorable photos. However, the process with George Street (the entity) was clumsy, confusing and filled with mistakes. Our coordinator changed on emails (George Street blamed that on an email-merge error on their end), and we were never able to get our coordinator on the phone. It's simply a call bank of random GS employees who type your info into their database. George Street makes you fill out an extensive form to ensure they meet your needs, yet much of that form info was not relayed to the photographer. So we missed out on things like table photos from people who traveled long distances for the wedding. Again, we enjoyed the photographers. I simply wish we could have worked with them independently instead of the awkward, mistake-prone bureaucracy of George Street. The photographers were good but GS was bad, so I'm doing 3 stars to average it out.

We worked with J from George Street for our wedding and she was fantastic!! I would recommend her to anyone. We first met her for an engagement photoshoot and right away we were struck by how friendly, personable, and professional she was. She has a great eye for creating beautiful photos. For the wedding itself, working with her continued to be a breeze. Honestly, she knew when to insert herself such that we would know to capture key moments but then also knew when to fade back and let us take everything in (without us even noticing that she was continuing to capture everything). As for George Street itself, they were easy to work with and their web portal was professional and easy to use.

The photographer was very accommodating to all of the shots that we wanted. He did a great job capturing our special day. They edited and submitted the pictures to us for download within ~25 days. Super quick turn around.

The coordinators and photographers were very professional and prompt with communication! My husband and I felt completely at ease and would definitely recommend them!

First and foremost, this review is more focused on the lead photographer booked through George Street, rather than about George Street itself. The company was great, and the staff was a pleasure to work with—everyone was professional, friendly, responsive, and understanding of my unfortunate experience with our lead photographer (George Street did everything they could to make it right). That being said, our lead photographer was HORRIBLE. She was absolutely the worst part of my wedding day, and ruined the photographic experience for me. We chose her based on her portfolio, since the venue shown was similar to what ours would be (which was in Scottsdale, AZ in March), and we liked her candid photography style. We were told she would contact us a week in advance of the wedding, and instead she called THE DAY BEFORE the wedding, as we were on our way to our rehearsal dinner. When we met her the day of, she was extremely aggressive, did not listen to anyone and did not take the feedback or photo requests into consideration for what we wanted captured. She was very clearly uncomfortable with photographing outside, and did not take advantage of the landscape the gorgeous venue had to offer (we paid a lot of money for the venue that wasn't photographed properly). She also didn't get ANY photos of me, the bride, on my wedding day. I asked for portraits and the only solo shots she got of me were in the horribly-lit dressing room as I was getting ready. When it came time for family portraits, she was so uncomfortable with the setting and sunlight that she forced all of us against a brick wall with ugly foliage in the background, claiming that she “needed shade” and the "dappled lighting will look terrible" (it was an outdoor wedding…in sunny AZ…). Meanwhile, our assistant photographer was WONDERFUL to work with and took gorgeous photos in EVERY type of lighting the venue had to offer--she saved the day. Unfortunately, I did not know she would take the better photos so she was assigned to the groom/groomsmen, and the "lead" photographer was assigned to me. I desperately wish it had been the other way around, since I feel like I got jipped on my wedding day. She then didn't provide us with a ton of the photos we had taken and posed for afterwards, so we had to beg to access those via George Street, and sadly they were not worth the wait. I am heartbroken and devastated about my photography experience on my wedding day. We cannot recreate the moments or the memories, and we left without anything to commemorate the event in the way we wanted. Having to schedule separate portrait sessions AFTER YOUR WEDDING because your lead photographer is incompetent on the actual day is unacceptable. I appreciated the second portrait session being comped by GS and being given the opportunity to work with my first portrait photographer again, but it wasn't the same since we were back in Boston, and our wedding was in Arizona. All around an extremely disappointing experience that can never truly be made up for.

The photos are great and we are waiting for the video so I will follow up with how wonderful that is once we receive it, but we definitely had a great time with Gabrielle and John, our photographer and videographer for the wedding. They really see to know what they're doing and we are glad they made every effort to always find the best lighting for us. The photographer missed a few photo opportunities that we were hoping to get, and we didn't feel like there was enough fun photos showing our personality - I guess I was hoping to get more guidance from her on this portion. But the photos she did take are stunning and made us look great and for that we are very happy!
