Gerry Ranch

s not out there nor in our price range-- enter Gerry Ranch. From our first drive up the dirt road, upon meeting Jaclyn and Ken, and of course the stunning scenery, we knew it was the right pick. We loved the family feel of Ken running the ranch, and Jaclyn, his daughter running so many aspects of the wedding details. We felt that everyone was very professional and knew what they were doing, without feeling like a cog in wedding venue machine. Jaclyn helped me stay calm after moving internationally mid-wedding planning! She would take my rambling emails with grace and answer the many questions that came along throughout the planning process. The attention to detail on the actual venue: the clean/spacious bathrooms, the colorful planted flowers, the new dance floor, the rustic signs, the ease of the double-sided bar, the orchard and mountains in the distance, and the list goes on made planning so much easier. I had such a beautiful backdrop to work with, everything else was just the finishing and personalized touches. I wish we could do it all again!

h was so much fun! I can’t say enough about all that this venue offers. A beautiful, rustic outdoor venue surrounded by the Santa Rosa mountains. The separate but side by side ceremony, cocktail and reception areas are surrounded by nature’s majestic views. Ken, the owner, is so personable and accommodating and even took us on a tour through the blueberry fields and lemon and avocado orchards. Chantal, our Coordinator, was amazing!! From planning, to set up, to take down, she was so easy to work with and everything went so smoothly. We were very confident that she was going to take care of all of our needs and coordinated with all of our vendors to make sure our wishes were carried out. Follow them on IG to see the beautiful photos they post. Best decision we made was to have their wedding here. I highly recommend them!!

l admit that after touring there I thought it was beautiful and would make the perfect venue for my outdoor wedding amongst the fields of produce. I put a hold on the date I wanted and told them I would come to a decision within 1-2 days but that I was excited about it and that I was sure my fiancé would be too. However, when we sent them an email the day after saying we wanted to book that date they said that they accidentally gave that date to another couple that was touring with a different rep of the Ranch so it must have been a communication error or something. They offered us an earlier date at a somewhat discounted rate that wouldn't work for us and would be during the middle of summer when it's hotter than we would like. We asked if they could give us a discounted deal on a later date when it was cooler but they refused-probably because they could get more money else where since my guest list would only be 80-100. They also then backtracked and explained that a couple had originally had the date we wanted but then broke up and called the wedding off! But then this couple called them this weekend because they got back together and wanted to do it on that date again. So Jaclyn the owner told them yes and didn't think to let us know as one is supposed to when you have a hold on a date and didn't even tell us that it was taken until after we told them we wanted it. Basically, I feel that Jaclyn was unprofessional and left me feeling sad and frustrated as it took a lot for me to finally commit to a venue only to have them give it to someone else without telling me when I had a hold on it. :( This venue sure looks nice but I hope no one else has to go through the experience I had.

Gerry Ranch staff is amazing and go above and beyond.

nnot beat the sweeping views of the Camarillo hills surrounded by lemon, avocado, and blueberry groves. We highly recommend Gerry Ranch to anyone in the Southern California area looking for a top-notch outdoor venue! The best part about Gerry Ranch is that it is family owned and operated - they made us feel at home from the very beginning. Our coordinator Natasha was organized every step of the way, from our planning meetings up to the day of logistics. Jaclyn helped us with our contract and provided amazing rentals and florals via her company Casi Cielo (also connected to the ranch). Scotty provided help on the day of our wedding taking us (and our photographers) everywhere we needed on the ranch golf cart. They work as a tight-knit team and they made our wedding a truly perfect day. After looking at numerous venues in both Los Angeles and Ventura County, Gerry Ranch provided the best value and they provide a great list of recommended vendors. Weddings are a huge investment and Gerry Ranch made planning as easy and streamlined as possible. They provide an onsite coordinator as part of their services, which is awesome! We felt at ease the entire planning process knowing that Natasha and Jaclyn were overseeing everything. They also provide a bridal suite on site, making the getting ready process so much more relaxed. We can't recommend Gerry Ranch enough!

t for our special day (including saving the day by decorating our wedding cake with flowers when our florist skipped out early). The venue is stunning, the team is professional and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience for our wedding. Thank you Jaclyn and team!!

ach couple that gets married there. We toured the ranch mid December and it looked like we were there in the middle of Spring! There were tons of roses in bloom and the property looked stunning for it being their off season. The staff is very friendly and helpful. From meetings to phone calls to working out all the logistics, they really have it figured out and are happy to help you. They partner with Casi Cielo for rentals and florals which is another great company that I recommend!

nd. We immediately fell in love with the beauty of the venue, with the mix of the garden and rustic feel. The natural décor at the venue alone leaves you with minimal extras you need to add to beautify the space. The venue allows for everything to happen at one site, preventing guests needing to take the time to and from locations. It also provides an adorable bridal suite to get ready in, along with a golf cart that was able to take us to the different locations that we wanted photos at on the property. The one downside, I would say, is that they have an arrangement with Omni Catering that you must go through for the catering. As we were initially looking for a venue where we did not have to pay the high catering prices (around $75 a meal for the minimal package), we were a little hesitant. However, as they provide servers, clean-up and a bartender (whom will serve alcohol that you can provide – thus bringing down the cost), along with the pricing of the venue, minimal rental additions and amazing restrooms that are on site (including air-conditioning and music) we decided this was the venue for us. We could never have imagined that we would be so happy with the venue that we chose. Every step of the way Jaclyn (the on-site, day of coordinator) was there to answer any and all of my questions. Jaclyn and her husband also have a rental and florist company, that we decided to go through and it made everything so easy, without outrageous prices! All of our guests were so amazed by the beauty of the venue and the amazing location, and now a few of my friends got the venue info and want get married there because of how impressed they were. We could not be happier with our choice in venue and would fully recommend this site to anyone in the search for the perfect outdoor venue.

edding ceremony and reception at Gerry Ranch and it was gorgeous. Getting married in October offers amazing lighting for a 4:30 PM ceremony time, but any time of the year it's a beautiful scene. Think staring at blueberry fields, being surrounded by white rose bushes, avocado and lemon orchards and then staring afar to hilly, mountainous landscapes. It's a peaceful setting and offers that outdoor, country, rustic, green vibe. Also, it doesn't hurt that Jaclyn is very easy to work with in setting up the wedding details, and she's also extremely organized! On the day-of, everyone to do with the venue was very helpful and prepared. Their system is great, and they are all very friendly and down to earth. I'd completely recommend getting married here!
