The Gian team was absolutely amazing. We planned our wedding in less than 3 months and we wouldn't have been able to do it without them. They worked closely with us to identify vendors, create a beautiful design for the event, and execute the details with an incredible attention to detail. We really appreciated how they recommended vendors that aligned with our values and vision for the event. Reneille, Sheena, and the whole team was so great to work with - responsive, helpful, flexible, and kind. It was a joy working with them!
We did not want to be worried about having to take care of details, vendor communications, crises, etc. on the day of our wedding so we opted for a day of coordinator. Sheena and team did an amazing job of taking over vendor comms in the weeks leading up to our wedding, flushing out a day of timeline, making sure we had the littles things like pins for the money dance and (most importantly!) ran a flawless wedding day across three locations. We had the best time and if anything went wrong, we had no idea. The whole day flowed better than I could have imagined.

Vanessa was amazing and went above and beyond all expectations I had. Our wedding couldn't have gone any better than it did and I owe it all to Vanessa. Everything started on time, the whole wedding party/vendors knew where to be and what was happening next; and most importantly I enjoyed every second of it! I had the BEST TIME because Vanessa, Sheena, and Polin handled anything that came up so I didn't have to think about it.
Vanessa was so thorough and detail-oriented leading up to the wedding - being a type A person, I really appreciated the amount of dedication she had to ensure I had all the information of what was going on. She kept me on top of tasks that needed my attention, gave me pep-talks, and by the day of the wedding, I feel she could read my mind - she is THAT good.
Vanessa also did such a great job with helping us design the overall look and vibe of the wedding. She took all of my unfinished ideas and vague concepts and turned them into something so glamorous - I actually cried at the reception reveal!
If you're undecided on whether to hire Gian Events, I hope my review pushes you towards signing that contract! It was the best decision I made
We hired Gian Events for our wedding, and it was truly one of our best decisions! In addition to day-of-coordination, we purchased their planning and design services. Reneille met with us on several occasions to get to know us, learn our design aesthetic, and discuss our vision. She took our general ideas and Pinterest board inspiration and brought our vision to life. It was so helpful working with a team that understands the industry and could point us in the right direction for vendors - definitely took so much of the stress away as we were planning.
The Gian Events team was so proactive and communicated with us, so we always felt like we were in good hands. Our coordinator, Korrena was a huge help leading up to our big day when our wedding venue went through some staffing changes. She prioritized meeting with the events manager in person to make sure everything was on track.
As two project managers, my husband and I were so impressed by how organized this team was throughout the whole process. We felt like we were in great hands and the stress was low.
After all the months of planning, we were blown away seeing everything come together. The floral vendor Gian Events found for us, was perfect and we couldn't believe how gorgeous their work was. The team made sure we had a first look of the reception set up and we instantly started crying because it was so incredibly beautiful. Every detail was perfectly executed - the lighting, the tablescape design, the signage. It took our breath away. Gian Events took our inspiration and ideas and brought the vision to life, and it was everything we wanted and more.
We had two additional assistant coordinators that were so attentive and supportive. Sheena was by my side and as a first-time bride, this was something I didn't know I needed. She kept me hydrated all day, had tissues at the ready, helped me with my bustle after my train was stepped on. Jade was handling so much of the setup and again, it was so perfectly executed. Every touch was intentional and well-done. As our coordinator, we know that Korrena was a HUGE part of this. She has such great, positive energy and made sure everything went smoothly.
Our wedding day was magical and perfect and Gian Events is the reason for that. They feel like family to us and we would love to work with them again in the future. This team is top tier, and we recommend them for any event planning and coordination needs!
From one wedding vendor to another, Gian Events is amazing to work with! From beginning to end of the planning process, they are organized, detail-oriented, and so great to communicate with. Vanessa, our coordinator, was absolutely the best!! She handled our day of coordinating with poise and professionalism through the entire process. From our first meeting with Gian events their communication and attention stood out.
Vanessa handled details without us even knowing about it like coordinating with other vendors and making an incredible timeline that included everything we needed to know for our big day. The attention to detail and logistical coordination helped us feel at ease and cared for.
The actual day of Vanessa and her team made our wedding exactly what we wanted. The whole crew checked in with us and made sure everything was going smooth through the entire night. The other vendors that Gian Events and Vanessa recommended like the DJ, Flowers, and car service were also great!!

Gian Events seriously rocked our world with their wedding coordination skills! My (now) husband and I hired Gian Events for our July 2022 wedding at AXIS Pioneer Square in Downtown Seattle. During our initial consultation, Reneille (the owner) was so kind, fun, and energetic and it became clear that we were working with professionals and were about to have the best wedding ever. AND WE DID! We were assigned, Vanessa, as our primary contact and coordinator. From the beginning, Vanessa guided us through the coordination process offering recommendations, insight, and expertise as we planned our special day. At the two-months-before-the-wedding-mark, Vanessa took charge reviewing our vendor contracts, asking questions, clarifying details, offering advice, building a day-of timeline, communicating with our vendors, and so much more. She was so detail-oriented and truly elevated our wedding celebration. During the rehearsal the night before, Vanessa communicated effectively and clearly with our wedding party and family, ensuring everyone knew their responsibilities the next day. On the wedding day itself, Vanessa executed our vision flawlessly with the help of her amazing assistants. We felt like royalty. Period. Vanessa and her team were so attentive and on-top of everything, ensuring ourselves and our guests were well-cared for and having fun. Words can’t describe how grateful we are to have had Vanessa and Gian Events be a part of our special day. We may have started out as strangers, but Vanessa and Gian Events became part of our family throughout the process. They’re not only there to coordinate your day, they’re there to hype you up and celebrate with you. You can relax and be confident in their abilities. Trust us, they’ve got your back. Sheena is a queena, okay?! She took the lead on my traditional Hausa Nigerian ceremony and my white wedding (two separate days, two separate events) and absolutely knocked it out of the park. She was such a pleasure to work with, I booked Gian for day of coordination but they offered so much more than that. Sheena was there to answer all of my questions, calm my nerves and (of course) keep everything running smoothly. I have a very large very diverse family and she fit right in and had everyone right where they were supposed to be. She truly went above and beyond and I am getting a little bit emotional as I type this. Her assistants Korrena and Ashley were also wonderful. There were so many moving pieces and I didn't have to see or deal with any of them. What a gift! I don't have enough good things to say about these ladies, and the fact that it is a woman led business was icing on the wedding cake! Both of my weddings were actually perfect and I couldn't have done it without them. I will be forever grateful to Reneille, Sheena and the whole team <3
I booked Gian Events for design and day of coordination. Specifically Rosa and Reneille hit it out of the park. Both understood the vision and listened to my wants and needs. On the day of, Rosa was AMAZING. She put her coordinator hat on and solved so many issues. She was unafraid to take the reign in both design and coordinating wedding guests. For my family, this was the first "American" style of wedding. Some were confused and she was able to flawlessly coordinate them to their seats, regardless of language barrier.
This wedding went on without a hitch... it was perfect. Nothing went wrong, everything was beautiful and exactly as I envisioned. They have some great connections for vendors as well. Callarose & Co, Shooby Doo Catering, Puget Sound Strings, and DJ Joshua Fields were all recommended by Gian Events and for good reason. They have amazing connections with vendors in the wedding space.
However, Rosa was the shining star on my wedding day. She was thoughtful and checked in with both myself and my husband. She is thoughful, well coordinated, and knowledgeable.
Reneille & Christina are the best. They helped create my dream wedding. The day of was so stress free and smooth. It was so perfect! I cannot say enough good things about them.
I booked Gian Events last year for their day of coordination services for my wedding day. They did a great job making sure things went smoothly both at my ceremony and intimate backyard reception. I can't thank them enough for all their hard work and planning.
I highly recommend Gian Events to plan/coordinate any of your future events! Vanessa and Reneille went above and beyond in helping us plan/coordinate our wedding! Not only were they really fun to work with but they were very detail oriented and ensured every big and little thing was accounted for which helped make the day go by so smoothly! I even had last minute changes the day of the wedding for some set up and they were so quick to get things done and were also very flexible with last minute changes! Having Gian Events on the day of my wedding literally removed all and any stress I had. I've received so many compliments during and after the wedding where guests told me that it was THE SMOOTHEST AND FUN wedding they've ever been to and I credit that to Gian Events! 10/10 would recommend every time!
WOW. Reneille, Sheena, and their entire team were completely FANTASTIC. I was attempting to not have a planner, and then a couple of months before my event realized I just could not do it myself. I begged the Gian Events team to take my wedding on, and luckily they were able to and completely ran with it! We had all sorts of ups and downs before the big day, and they helped me navigate them all and keep me sane and organized. Day of there were plenty of other issues (of course) including the band I hired completely misreading/mis-acting on my contract, and saying that they would not support ceremony music/DJ duty/emcee duty. Sheena sprang into action and what could have been a complete nightmare was solved (no one even noticed what happened!) And I'm sure there were plenty of other issues she and her team fixed that I don't even know about. THANK YOU for all that you do, Sheena and Reneille!!
Booking Gian Events was the BEST decision we made when planning our wedding. They're very responsive and took care of all the little details and coordinating with all of our vendors. They also made it very easy to work around changes and suggestions, or back-up plans when necessary. Highly recommend.
We could not recommend Gian Events enough! Reneille designed and worked 1:1 with us for the entire process, even though we had done some vendor planning already by finding and securing others, Gian had just launched the partial planning package which worked wonderful for us. Reneille and her team work wonderfully with all different personality types and never made us feel a certain way for wanting to be involved. She will be as hands on or off as you want her to be and gives great feedback and insight into your vision. We especially loved that we had a very basic vision for our wedding and Gian Events was able to take that vision and create a one of a kind version that honestly belongs in multiple bridal magazines. Working with Reneille is such a treat, and I would highly recommend her if you are detail oriented and deeply care about the small details surrounding your day. These qualities make this company so special, not to mention you are supporting an Asian-Woman owned business which mattered to us!
Gian Events provided day-of-coordination for our wedding at the Fremont Foundry. Vanessa (our coordinator) and her whole team went above and beyond to make sure we had a stellar, stress free day. Couldn't have been smoother!
Since we had planned our wedding ourselves, we had already crafted a pretty complete timeline and were on top of our vendors, but as the date approached, Vanessa put on all the professional finishing touches we needed, coordinated last minute logistics with our vendors directly, and clarified our preferences in detail.
At the rehearsal, Vanessa politely whipped everyone in to shape. On the day of, Vanessa and her team kept everything on schedule without ever getting in the way. They made sure all our needs were met and wrangled guests as needed. As soon as the day started, it was clear we could rely on them, and so we did. Thanks to Gian Events, we could really enjoy our wedding day, stress free!
My husband and I booked Gian Events for our recent wedding on 12/10/2021 and don't have any regrets! In under 5 months, Vanessa and Reneille delivered excellent customer service and exceptional organizational skills throughout the planning process and during the wedding day. We honestly don't know what we would've done without their help. Vanessa was our lead coordinator and she knocked it out of the park in terms of execution and design. My family and friends were so impressed with her work and coordination during our wedding day and we can't thank her and the entire Gian Events team enough.
Lastly, I love their team dynamic and that they bring fun wherever they go. Both Vanessa and Reneille are so inspiring and you'd be luck to have them as your planners. Ashley and Katelynn were both so amazing as my wedding coordinators. They ran around behind the scenes making sure everything went seamlessly. Pre-pandemic, Reneille was on point with all of our planning. But post-pandemic is where her and her team really shined. We changed venues, changed catering, essentially started from scratch and we had no doubts we’d get the wedding we always dreamed of. Delivered on all of our expectations. Renielle and her team was the A team. They are the best and I can't stop raving about them to anyone who asks me about my wedding. Like many, I also had to change my wedding date due to Covid restrictions and Renielle was still able to accomodate me. I ended up seeing the wedding of my dreams come true with the help of Kaitlynn and Renielle of course! From my late night emails/messages to recommending great vendors- they had it down!! Kaitlynn made sure that I had the BEST time during my wedding day and was able to put out fires left and right. To top it all off- she made sure me and my husband ate and drank that night. Wow. Where do I begin with how amazing Gian Events is? We ended up working with Rosa for two years planning 3 different versions of our wedding. Throughout it all Rosa and Reneille were the first people I texted with questions and concerns about postponing (twice), vendors, decor and reassurance that it was all worth it and going to be okay. They are kind, professional and truly the best partners a bride could have.
With their help our wedding was beautiful, smooth and as stress-free as a twice-postponed covid wedding could be. We booked Rosa for the Coordination + Design package and it was the best investment of the wedding.
Reneille and the team at Gian Events are the best! I knew, though I am a very organized person, I wanted a coordinator/planner to help on my special day. Reneille was actually one of the first vendors I booked early on in the process.

Rosa from Gian was absolutely incredible. She was so organized and prepared for all of our meetings leading up to the wedding, even pulling information from my massive wedding planning spreadsheet to prepare her timeline and vendor contact list. At the end of the evening she had even taken all the important items from the reception (card box, welcome sign, candles, etc) and moved them into my aunt's car for safekeeping. She was able to pivot and react at the last minute when changes came up, and had a smile on her face through it all.
We had a bit of a last-minute crisis when the state enacted a mask mandate a few days before our wedding, but she stayed calm through the chaos and helped me work through the ever-changing policies.
I would recommend Rosa to any brides; she made sure all the details of the day went smoothly and nothing fell through the cracks. Thank you for making our wedding day completely stress-free!
My fiancé, now husband, and I booked day of coordinating. We didn’t get to know her for very long. We booked her 3 months before our big day. But from our meeting conversation she knew what we wanted and had lots of advice for us. The day of our wedding celebration /anniversary (due to COVID) Kaitlyn ran the show at our reception and popped by when needed. She did great on putting , setting up everything to getting our timeline worked for us. We definitely had to move a lot through out the day but it work out AMAZINGLY!! When we first started to plan our wedding we thought that we can handle all the preparation that came with it. However as it came closer and closer, my husband and I couldn’t even get everything together. Then I saw other vendors promote Gian events. I checked their profile and saw how beautiful the events they planned and coordinated in the past. Upon talking to Reneille, she made sure I got everything I needed. Her and her staff were all very organized. She is well prepared to all of our meetings, showed up on time if not earlier.
The day of our wedding was magical! All because of her and her hard working staff. She even texted me the night before to make sure that I get enough rest. I highly highly recommend that if you ever plan a wedding to hire a wedding coordinator, and Gian events has the best Service! They will make sure to deliver exactly what you want and how you want it.
Reneille & the team are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!! Like many, we had to postpone our wedding due to covid. It was a beyond stressful & sad situation, but Gian Events made it SO MUCH EASIER!! When we were down, THEY HYPED US UP & came in with some great ideas & recommendations to help get us excited again. We had to change venues & caterers just a couple months before & Reneille just had all the right connections we needed to make it happen. We appreciated that Gian Events understood our Filipino & Vietnamese cultural traditions for our wedding, it was so awesome to not have to explain ourselves & Reneille just knew what we were talking about & had experience already. The wedding day was amazing, the set-up the team did was BEAUTIFUL, & it was one of the best days ever. Reneille at one point literally ran & saved the day when my dads boutonnière broke right as we were about to walk out for the processional. We cannot thank Gian Events enough for making our small, micro-wedding an amazing event!! We love them & cannot wait to hire them to plan more life celebrations in the future!!
Reneille is extremely personable and has a great team of folks to support. I hired Gian Events for the day of coordination for my daughter's dol (first birthday) in April. I met Kaitlynn, too, a few weeks before my daughter's first birthday party, and she was super on top of everything as well. They are organized, a great hype team, helped create an itinerary for the day of, were there for planning before, whether it be decor or logistics, and even picked up the rice cakes and the menu's that we got printed before our event! I appreciated ALL their help and set up the day of so I could have time to do my own makeup and get ready. They kept me on schedule and helped coordinate with all our vendors, so I didn't have to, which took a lot off my plate. I'm so happy I had them for my daughter's first birthday party; they did much more that I didn't list, and so no matter what, take away from this that their help and support is worth having!
I could not have been more amazed by the level of professionalism and care that Reneille and her team dedicated to our special day. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and there was so much movement that happened between venue changes to vendor changes...and this team handled everything beautifully. I was blown away by the intricate details that Reneille put into our ceremony, design, and overall coordination of our wedding. She is the most amazing wedding planner in my eyes, and always wants to bring the couple’s vision to life. Reneille and her team were the real life dream team!! We worked with them to plan my elopement/shoot and they had everything coordinated perfectly! The entire day went smoothly and the attention to detail was insane - they really thought of everything. Not only was everything seamless and professional - it was FUN!! They made our day so memorable and special and I felt like I had my best girlfriends there helping make sure our day was perfect. I contacted Cake & Lace on behalf of my sister who is getting married in August because it was very clear to see that we didn’t have a clear direction for food, flowers, cake and day of coordination to keep the 10 members of the bridal party on schedule and make my my sister’s wedding flawless. My husband and I hired Cake & Lace as our "Day of Coordinators" for our July 2019 wedding seeing as the wedding was in Tacoma, WA and neither of us reside in state. We thought it would be great to have a local who could provide insight and a helping hand for our big day. To be honest, I didn't know what a "day of coordinator" was, but Reneille did a great job explaining the package and how she and her team would allow me to truly relax and enjoy my wedding instead of stress all day. Hiring Cake & Lace was definitely one of the best decisions we made.
Considering the name of the package purchased, I thought my main interactions with Reneille and her team would be right before the wedding, but Reneille started helping me as soon as we hired her -- approximately 6 months before the wedding. During those 6 months, Reneille recommended numerous wonderful vendors, including the most important ones -- hair and make up! This was a HUGE relief for me to know I had an excellent team to make me look my best on my big day. Some vendors even gave us a discount because of Reneille. Additionally, Reneille was ALWAYS available via text -- and I mean always; early morning or ridiculously late night.
The week before the wedding, Reneille was in constant communication with all the vendors (and there was a lot!!) and helped ensure they were aware of the day's plans and their roles. There was a very detailed timeline that went out far in advance, and Reneille was a great point of contact so I didn't have to worry about contacting each vendor individually. I was busy preparing to travel from Chicago to Tacoma in addition to a million other tasks, and it was great to know that Reneille was taking care of the vendors. The team is EXTREMELY organized and this helped prevent a lot of confusion and/or issues before and during the wedding.
I think the moment I knew Reneille and her team were worth every penny (and more) was when they helped resolve major issues with our wedding hall the day before our wedding! My hall was not exactly the most accommodating hall, and there were many hiccups with them along the way, but the most frustrating was literally the two days before the wedding when they surprised my husband and I with new information regarding the timings our vendors could come in. Long story short, I began to stress, but Reneille told me she would handle it. Between a few phone calls and emails, Reneille had it all resolved and I did not have to worry about dealing with the hall coordinators any more than necessary. That was a huge relief because they weren't very pleasant.
A major bonus of working with Reneille is just how warm and fun she is. During our many, many conversations, it was like I was talking to a friend. She is a great listener and would provide her ideas or suggestions only after listening to my vision. Often times, her suggestions made the vision even better! She has a great eye for detail and has the contacts and connections to make the vision a reality. I used her as a sounding board more times than I can count, and she was a major help in making it all come to life all while having a great time doing so. Like I said Reneille is very fun, personable, knowledgeable and kind and I truly loved working with her. I would HIGHLY recommend her and her team to help make your wedding dreams into a reality. I cannot thank them enough for taking the wheel so my husband and I could enjoy our big day.
We have a great partnership with Cake & Lace! They know our venue, the Hall at Fauntleroy, so well after multiple weddings here in 2019 (and many more coming up in the new year!) and even offer a discount to our wedding clients! They are super friendly, easy to work with, and share a lot of fun tips and behind the scenes glimpses on their social media. They are awesome at staying up to date with wedding trends and thinking up ways to inspire their multicultural audience.

We had a list of recommended planner from our venue manager and just from quick googling, Cake and Lace stood out from our list right away. Reneille was quick to respond and scheduled a consultation call immediately. Reneille was always available for any questions even at an early stage and helped us decide which package that would be the best fit for us. We were even impressed by her small but sweet gesture of sending us a congratulatory gift. After booking, she paired us with a lead planner and shared with us all of the great tools that Cake and Lace has to offer! During our in-person meeting she was prepared with all the questions (traditions, songs, decors, layout, colors,... you name it) even the ones we didn't even think about! We left feeling at ease an ready to tackle the months leading up to our wedding.
We had regular check ins with our lead planner. Throughout the process she has been easy to contact and easy to work with - which helps relieve the stress of the wedding planning process! There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are for Cake and Lace being part of our special day. Being a bride with design background I was a little nervous about the decor, especially the set up of drapes and canopy installation that was the main focal piece of the reception. All of my worries went away right when I walked into the venue before our ceremony and was blown away by how everything got magically put together by Cake and Lace and their recommended set up vendor!
To our knowledge, everything went smoothly and we were especially impressed with how attentive Cake and Lace team was to our guests, especially our elderly family members. As promised we had a stress-free day filled with lots of dancing and laughter. If you are hesitant about having a planner/day-of coordinator, I highly recommend you booking with Cake an Lace and you won't be disappointed!
I cannot express enough how amazing Reneille and her team are! They really brought my vision to life and it was absolutely beautiful! They went above and beyond to make our day perfect and they achieved that by far. I honestly couldn’t have done it without them. Reneille was always on it-super punctual, organized, and professional. I didn’t feel stressed at all. It was truly the best experience!

I actually hired Reneille and Cake and Lace to help plan my mother's Surprise 80th Birthday Party. I'm accustomed to planning large events myself, but given the fact that we had planned for about 100 people (many from out of state), and I travel quite a bit for my job, I definitely needed help. Reneille was always on it for keeping on schedule, making sure I had all the information I needed for vendors, that I signed all the papers and made payments on time, and also made excellent recommendations for venue, photography, DJ, and more. They handled the invitations and guest list, venue decor, and day-of arrangements with ease.
Without Cake and Lace, our event wouldn't be anywhere near as successful as it was. They really did a fantastic job and I can't recommend them enough. My assigned wedding planner had left the company for a new job opportunity half way through and I was a little nervous at first with a couple months left til my big day!! However, Reneille, owner of Cake and Lace then took over my wedding as my planner and transition was so smooth. She reassured me everything would be okay, and it was! Reneille, first of all, is hilarious and super approachable. She will respond faster than anyone I know!! She is always eager to help and make things right for your wedding. She will go above and beyond. I texted her many many times late night and she would respond with an answer, and if she didn’t know the answer, she’d find out right away! My wedding was absolutely perfect!! My husband and family had a blast and we enjoyed every minute. Her team made sure the day ran smoothly and I feel like I didn’t have to lift a finger!!! Example.. I forgot to get a cake topper and Reneille literally had one custom made the day of for me that was personalized. She has connections like crazy too, got us a party bus and set up an epic after party at a bar nearby our venue! Our friends and bridal party loved it. What I really loved about Cake and Lace is how they help and even encourage you to incorporate your culture into the wedding! She brought my vision to life incorporating my Chinese heritage in the wedding! Reneille was hilarious and our meetings were so fun. We met at Din Tai Fung one time even and had good food and productive planning conversation... all while getting to know each other and ending our lunch with a tequila shot.. instant connection! 😂. The day went perfect and I would recommend Cake and Lace Events if you’re looking for a wedding planner who will make your wedding classy, personal, unique, and relevant!

This year I had the honor of working with Diana from Cake & Lace at a stunning wedding at Ballard Bay Club!! Since I'm a wedding photographer I work with many planners throughout the year, but Cake & Lace stood out among the crowd. The hard work, attention to detail, & over all AMAZING freakin energy they bring to a wedding day is unreal!!! At one point, the florist ran behind schedule (which had me freakin out, not gonna lie) but Diana & her assistants at Cake & Lace remained calm, cool, & collected + encouraged & guided the florists to speed up the process of getting all the florals placed! I can't wait to work with them again in the future & think that anyone who has the pleasure of working with them will be stoked beyond belief!!

I booked Reneille as my partial wedding planner- but she was so much more than that- a confidant, a stress reliever, and a good friend. The most important piece of information I can offer to anyone planning an event is— if you want all your dreams and visions to come true, go with Cake and Lace. From the moment I met Reneille during our consultation, I knew she understood my vision before I could even complete my sentences. For the whole year leading up to my wedding, Reneille was by my side, answering all my questions even at odd hours of the day, offering ideas that she knew I would like, and constantly reassuring me that there was no need for me to stress because she was there. It almost seemed like she knew my vision better than I did. Every text and call and email was answered, and every request yielded a response that was nothing less than “on it!” Or “got it!” and mind you, she does work a full time 9-5 job aside from event planning.
As it got closer and closer to the wedding day, Reneille was there to tackle any obstacle that was tossed in the way; from a vendor backing out last minute, to giving a reassuring opinion on how my nails turned out. She was there not only to relieve my stress about wedding details, but also as a friend who really just wanted me to be happy and enjoy every second of this huge milestone. She has genuine joy in making your already special day even more special. When people say “you should always expect something to go wrong” it really isn’t the case when you go with Reneille and her team. Everything was spot on, and if there was something that went wrong, I feel confident that Reneille dealt with it before it even got to me. Walking into my wedding venue was like walking into my dream wedding. She gave it 100% and much much more. Her design talent was impeccable and everything was absolutely a thousand times better than I even imagined. All of my family and friends had nothing but good things to say about her. Reneille is amazing! She is very quick to respond and very communicative; which I believe is key! In addition to being an expert with traditional American weddings, Renielle and her team are very familiar with many variety of cultural traditions as well.
She has a team with different backgrounds who are also bilingual. Which was a huge plus for our family and guests.
During our first consultation, I was pleasantly surprised about how knowledgeable and familiar she is with Vietnamese weddings. She knew exactly what my traditions are, and I didn’t need to explain anything. She even knew terms and different aspects of my tradition that I was surprised she already knew about, such as the tea ceremony and “chao ban”. Renielle was able to provide assistant coordinators who are bilingual in English and Vietnamese, which helped us tremendously.
I can't even begin to describe how HUGE Kate's impact was on our wedding. From our first meeting, through to the weeks leading up, and of course the insanity of wedding day, she managed to bring calm, order and solutions at each step. Renielle and her team did an amazing job, our babyshower couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything was spot on, I honestly didn’t have to worry about anything she and her team handled everything. Cake & Lace went above and beyond to help make my Korean first birthday event (Korean Dol) extra special and hassle free. They helped find the vendors, negotiates rates, and helped with coordination before, during, and after the event. Cake & Lace goes above and beyond! I truly can't say enough positive things about these ladies! A few months before my wedding I decided I was in over my head and really needed some direction. I reached out and from day one it was consistent contact with Reneille. No matter time of day she was prompt to respond. A couple weeks before the event I had an in person meet with Reneille and Rosa at our venue and they went above and beyond to make sure the layout would work, that the bar had the liquor we wanted and that me and my parents had all our questions answered.
These ladies went out of their way to save me thousands on delivery charges with my florist. They set up our centerpieces, gift table and had some really great addition for us with some huge balloons with our names on them which looked amazing! They made sure the night went smoothly for us and that the DJ had a timeline for announcements. We had drinks in our hands all evening. Our guests even complimented on how helpful and sweet they were. My mom couldn't stop hugging them all night because she was so thankful for all their help and how great of a job they did! If I could give Reneille and her team 10 stars I would! I highly recommend them for any of your day of coordination needs! They really care about you and your special day!

I recently modeled for a styled shoot with Cake & Lace Events. I have never done any kind of modeling (besides my engagement pictures), and the whole team made me feel super comfortable in front of the camera. It was also pouring down rain for most of the shoot and they managed to work around it, no hesitation. Very professional and organized. They were so amazing, I had so much fun with them!
