Sharing a variety of second floor private dining spaces with the adjacent Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House, clients can choose from six different spaces. The rooms accommodate groups of 10 to 500 and include sweeping views of Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood and signature Gibsons’ service. The classic American steakhouse features Gibsons Prime Angus beef, Gibsons Grassfed Australian beef, fresh fish, classic cocktails, an extensive wine list and exceptional service. Private spaces are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner events. Gibsons Restaurant Group can accommodate a wide range of events at all locations in the suburbs as well as in downtown Chicago (Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House, LUXBAR, Quartino, Gibsons Italia and ChiSox Bar & Grill), from weddings to corporate parties/seminars.

Gibsons (Chicago) was positively outstanding for our wedding reception. From the staff, to the bartenders, to the amazing food, I can go on and on. We received rave reviews from guests about the venue, some even stating it was the best event they had ever been to. This would not have been possible without Lynette V’s professionalism. She accommodated nearly all of our requests and helped make the night a success. Thank you Gibsons!

You will not do better than Gibson's for your wedding. The staff is beyond reproach of any kind, the food is phenomenal and destroys the wedding food stereotype, and the venue in itself is stunning (we used the Oak Brook location). Everything about Gibson's exemplifies elegance and grace. Everyone involved in their events team was amazing to work with!

Just had our wedding at the Montgomery club this weekend, and I’m happy to say the words “best wedding ever” were uttered by our guests by the end of it! First off, the space is gorgeous. A real pre-prohibition 1920s vibe, with one of the most stunning bars I’ve ever seen, and incredible tile floor. You’ll find that more things are included in this venue than at others. Linens, nice chairs, projector, several bars, and any table configuration you may want. The food is by Gibsons, and I have to tell you, blew every single one of our guests away. The bar worked with me on custom cocktails which people loved, and the staff as a whole were all incredibly friendly. Our event managers the night of were great, and our main contact at the venue Cheryl was accommodating to our every request. I don’t think the word “no” is in her vocabulary. Thanks for contributing so much to the best day of our lives!

I had my wedding at The Montgomery Club in July 2018. I would highly recommend all bride's take a look at this space. For one, the space is beautiful. The dark wood walls, tall ceiling, and mosaic tile floors make a breathtaking statement. I only brought in flowers to make the tables pop and you definitely don't need any uplighting. Second, the food is incredible. I mean, it's Gibson's so you can't really go wrong, but I was impressed with all the options they had to offer and everyone raved about how fantastic their meals were. One guest even said it was the best wedding food she's ever had! I have a ton of food allergies and the staff was extremely accommodating and careful with my food and let me know exactly what was in everything that was served. Last, and most important, is how incredible the staff was. Lynette and her team did a fantastic job setting the space, making sure we were on time (even during the planning process) and I wasn't the least bit stress about how things were going to turn out. I am so grateful to everyone who worked on my wedding night to make sure everything ran smoothly and my guests raved about the fantastic service they received. If there is one downside, it's that the main restrooms are on the second floor which is accessible by a staircase. It's not the best for elderly guests, however, there is a smaller men's and women's restroom on the first floor. I had no problem walking up the stairs in my wedding dress.

The Rosemont location did a fabulous job on my wedding reception, I couldn't of asked for more. The food was amazing and the room was prefect!!

The team at Gibson's exceeded all expectations for our wedding & reception at their Rush Street Location. Liz and her team were incredible! From the planning stages, menu and event itself, we could not have been more thrilled with the service and results. I never had to worry about a single detail, Gibson's took care of everything and even brought their own expertise into the wedding! My family has repeatedly expressed their happiness with the day and how the food was the best they have ever had. We could not have picked a better place to have our special day. Thank you Gibson's for making such an incredible memory for our families.

We had our wedding here this past March and cannot recommend The Montgomery Club enough! Lynette and her team were so amazing to work with - so responsive and really made our vision a reality. The service was fantastic, food was unbelievable, and the little personal touches they provided really made the day so memorable. Our guests raved about the venue, the food, and the service. We are so lucky we found this hidden gem of a venue - I have recommended Lynette and the MC to many of my friends and family and will continue to do so. My husband and I were truly able to enjoy our big day knowing that we were in such great hands.

Lynette, My name is Kitsa Schmidt and my son's wedding was on July 8th at the Montgomery Club. I would like to complement your entire staff for a magical evening. We worked primarily with Cassandra who was beyond accommodating. She made us feel like our special day was top on her list and was unbelievably prompt in responses and always beyond pleasant. I also worked with Jessica who also was superb and made the evening go flawless. The attention to detail by everyone shows the value of the Gibson name. I made many trips to the Venue prior to the wedding and everyone I encountered was helpful and a pleasure to work with. I have received numerous calls from my guests to say the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding and that the entire evening was top notch. I would again like to thank Cassandra for everything from the first time we came to see the Venue to the last trip to pick up items from the wedding. My husband and I (and our families) could not recommend The Montgomery Club more. We worked with Lynette and she was fabulous! She is prompt to emails/phone calls and is willing to go above and beyond to help with anything. The Montgomery Club looks like old school Chicago and I was amazed how our design team (HMR) completely transformed it to everything we wanted for our NYE wedding. You cannot go wrong with the food choices (it is Gibsons after all) and the service the night of our wedding was unbelievable. I HIGHLY recommend The Montgomery Club for a wedding venue--you will not be disappointed and neither will your guests!

We had a wonderful wedding reception. at the Montgomery Club on 11/13. Everything from the service, to the food, to the professionalism was top notch. We didn't have to worry about one thing! Several of our guests came up to us and said it was the best reception they have ever attended. Food was a major selling point for us and you can't go wrong with Gibson's! Everything was cooked to order which made the night even more special.
