Cannot recommend this bridal boutique enough!!! An amazing selection of beautiful gowns, an amazing clean and bright show room, and Michelle is the most helpful and kind woman who goes above and beyond to cater to you and your party’s needs and wants. I am so honored to be a Gilded Rose bride!!!!!

I couldn’t give this place, and my consultant, Michelle any higher of a score, or trust me, I would. 11/10. I had been to MANY stores before this and this place was a dream. She left me alone-was there when I needed her- and gave me the space to make a decision. I went back twice because I wasn’t sure what I wanted, and ultimately bought my dress here. They have a wonderful selection of dresses and just couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

Gilded Rose Atelier was where I said yes to the dress! The space is beautiful and creates such a special atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and willing to work with any and all special requests! From their get-to-know-you questionnaire to their assistance in store, GRA did an amazing job getting to know me and what I needed. Lulu made my dream wedding dress a reality and I couldn't be more happy with the experience I had here.

I cannot give Gilded Rose enough gold stars! The entire experience was top-notch - from the private and intimate shopping experience, to getting to feel and select your own gowns, to the ample time they give you to move around, ask questions and play with alteration options, to the ZERO pressure shopping experience. I came back for a second try-on a few weeks after my initial appointment which gave me so much reassurance and confidence in making my decision. Michelle was an absolute GEM and I am so incredibly thankful for my experience with her. I will be recommend Gilded Rose to EVERY bride. THANK YOUUUUU!

I the BEST experience here at Gilded Rose with Lulu! I was pretty nervous and intimidated by the dress shopping process but I'm lucky enough to say that Gilded Rose was my first and only place that I visited and my experience couldn't have gone any better! Lulu was incredible - she was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. She made me feel so comfortable the minute we entered the beautiful boutique. The dress selection here is second to none - everything was beautiful, chic and unique. I will forever remember this experience and I cannot wait to recommend this shop to future brides!

Such a lovely experience at Gilded Rose! There was no one else in the store so it was such a personal experience. I felt very heard with what styles I liked but also pushed my to try things I wasn’t expecting. I chose something that the sales associate chose and I absolutely love the dress!

Great assortment of designers and dresses. Their consultant was AMAZING at helping me find the perfect dress and even helping me visualize the modifications the designer could make. They even made the moment special with champagne!!

I had THE BEST experience at Gilded Rose Atelier. I was particularly looking for a designer in which they carried so I traveled from NYC to here and was able to get my dream dress after months of searching and hundreds of gowns. Michelle is absolutely amazing and truly loves her job. She is so friendly, patient, and helpful. She did not rush me on my decision and I came back to buy a few days later. They even stayed open a little bit later as I was running behind - and were so friendly and cordial about the situation. As I was getting married in a few months, Michelle worked with me to get my dream dress in time. I cannot explain how amazing Michelle is - she made the whole experience!!! The selection of gowns are gorgeous, everything there is beautiful. If I needed more gowns, I would totally go back there. I'm so thankful I found Gilded Rose Atelier, and especially Michelle.

I cannot rave about Lulu and the staff at Gilded Rose enough. After having a less than ideal first dress experience, I came in looking for a fun day of trying on dresses. I left with my perfect wedding dress. Lulu was fun to chat with while switching dresses and offered her expertise on how I could customize each of the dresses to fit my style. She offered her superior assistance not only to me, but also to my mother and maid of honor who tried on dresses too! This boutique is a one stop shop for any bride-to-be for gorgeous dresses and service.

Gilded Rose Atelier was the first bridal store I went to and was completely blown away! Even though I did not purchase my dress the first time I was there, I ended up coming back and saying yes to the dress later on. I checked out other bridal stores in between and none of them compared to the experience I had as well as the dresses. The dresses were truly amazing. Lulu and Michelle were super professional and overall great and genuine people. I 1000% recommend brides to look here!

I can’t say enough about this beautiful boutique and my recent shopping experience. They have a great selection of Mother of the Bride dresses but what truly sets this store apart from others is the incredible staff and customer service. Michelle is the perfect combination of professional, personable & fun and is extremely knowledgeable about the dresses/designers they carry. She makes great recommendations if you have no idea what you want (as in my case) and asks all the right questions to help guide you through the process. Gilded Rose was the 3rd boutique I visited and I was getting very discouraged about the process before arriving for my appointment. Michelle greeted me with such a positive attitude and her attention to detail in selecting MOB dresses resulted in me finding 4 that I loved. She was mindful of my budget and very patient with me while I made my final decision. This place is a must visit for any Mother of the Bride/Groom looking for a fabulous dress. In addition to their dresses, they have a beautiful selection of jewelry to go with their dresses!

After a long search for the perfect bridal gown, I cannot rave enough about both the selection of beautiful, unique dresses and the exceptional service that Michelle and Lulu provided! They were so patient and proactive in offering up solutions or accessories to help me achieve the classic, but unique look I desired. While other bridal salons made me feel rushed and pressured to make a decision, Michelle and Lulu took their time to make sure I felt 100% confident in the dress I chose. Michelle and Lulu were fantastic, the salon is stunning and the dress selection was unmatched, I could not have asked for a better experience!

Such a great experience! Michelle was such a professional consultant. While bringing in dresses she thought I would like, along with letting me and my group pick some out, she gave such great advice and wisdom while still being able to step back and let me talk with my group. Each dress I tried on was so unique too! Very different dresses than I've seen, and reasonably priced. The shop itself is nice and spacious, yet when you go in for your appointment it feels like it's just you and your group. They have plenty of space but you still feel like it's just you! Once you say yes, you're able to take as many photos as you want and then a little gift bag is included! I can't wait to go back once my dress comes in!!

My daughter not only found one dress, but she got 2 dresses! I was a little nervous coming into the store, being they are a high-end store. Usually they have the reputation of being judgmental and snooty. However, that is not the case at Gilded Rose! The woman at the front desk was very warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The store might look a little deceiving right when you walk in, but it is actually very spacious. Their front store has a wide selection of evening wear and mother of the wedding gowns/bridesmaids. As you head to the bridal area, you are instantly blown away by their bridal gown collections and decor! My daughter and her entourage had their own private suite, where she could dress privately before giving us the grand reveal. The consultants are very attentive, patient and not pushy. We haven’t met any consultants who are as nice as they are! We enjoyed our time there so much, that I made an appointment to come back for my MOB dress! Do not judge a book by its cover! I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed!

My experience shopping at Gilded Rose Atelier was perfect!! I found the shop when looking for dresses by Karen Willis Holmes and was delighted that they had so many of her styles. The actual appointment was so nice - I never felt rushed, we were the only ones there, and Michelle was so lovely to work with. I ended up wanting to see about a KWH dress they didn’t have, and they were able to order it for me to try on in the shop - and it turned out to be THE ONE! I’m so grateful for the excellent customer service. This bridal shop is a gem and I would highly recommend to any bride! PS they also have the cutest store dog, Benji - an added bonus to the experience!

I had the absolute best experience finding my dress at Gilded Rose Atelier!!! The shop is gorgeous, the owner Lulu and my consultant Michelle were fabulous. Michelle listened carefully to my vision of what I was looking for and helped me pick out a bunch of dresses that I was beyond excited to try on. I seriously have never been to another boutique where I’ve found that many dresses that caught my eye, these ladies have impeccable taste. My mom and sister enjoyed their time as my entourage as well, especially since they were joined by Lulu’s adorable puppy, Benji. This was the 12th and thankfully last bridal boutique I visited and none of them compared to GRA. It was so exciting to say “YES” here and I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Gilded Rose has an extensive and beautiful selection of dresses, and they have been beyond helpful throughout my dress selection and design process! We are making custom specification to my dress with the designer, and they are so on top of all communication and are making sure I feel very taken care of. Cannot recommend highly enough!

They had a variety of styles, but I was fortunate to come during a trunk show and found a stunning dress with a 10% discount. Their prices were already affordable so the discount was an added perk. You can tell Lulu the owner is passionate about her store and that meant a lot to us. I shared this special moment with my mom and wouldn’t want it any other way. I wish I didn’t have to leave! Every bride in the area should visit Gilded Rose Atelier!

I am so overjoyed and thrilled with my experience shopping for my wedding dress at Gilded Rose Atelier! I said "Yes to the dress" at Gilded Rose Atelier, and it was the first place I had gone for wedding dress shopping. The dress was so incredible, I decided to buy it that day, and I decided I didn't need to go to any other bridal shop (which is very unlike me - I think this speaks to the incredibly quality of Gilded Rose Atelier, and Michelle and Lulu there). I fell in love with only the second wedding dress I tried on there that day, and to be sure, Michelle and me selected about 12 wedding dresses and I tried on all of them. Every dress was a work of art. There were several points where Michelle's support, guidance and expertise made such an incredibly positive impact in me finding my perfect dress. When I first arrived, Michelle talked with me about what I was looking for in a dress - I was pretty open-minded, and had a variety of styles in mind. Michelle said she thought I might like a "fit and flair" style - and that was exactly the style of dress I fell in love with and bought. Additionally, Michelle and I were selecting dresses to try on, and I was looking at one dress on the hangar. Michelle was very sweet and said that dress is beautiful on, and she encouraged me to try it on. Sure enough, that was the dress I absolutely loved and bought! I'll be forever grateful to Michelle for encouraging me to try on that dress. Michelle was incredible in helping me pick a beautiful veil. We also talked about what hairstyle might look best. She also advised me that the family heirloom necklace I wore to the store worked beautifully with my dress, and she didn't think I needed to buy more jewelry. Likewise, she thought my formal heels I brought to the store worked with the dress. In these cases, I appreciated her honesty in letting me know I actually didn't need to buy more items. Michelle also had such a positive and fun spirit, that I felt so at ease, happy and comfortable - even though this was my first stop, and I had never done this before. Michelle and Lulu even helped me with wifi to connect remotely with my Mom to show her my favorite dress and to talk about it! Michelle and Lulu were incredibly helpful in their connections with the designer and put in a rush order for my dress for my micro-wedding coming up in less than 3 months. I had such a wonderful, custom, supportive experience that I will be thankful for and always remember Michelle and Lulu for the rest of my life. I highly recommend Gilded Rose Atelier to anyone! Michelle and Lulu provided a special level of support, expertise and guidance to me in shopping for my perfect wedding dress - it is an experience I will cherish my whole life.

Gilded Rose provided the most pleasant experience I could have imagined especially given the crazy circumstances. I've been to numerous bridal shops and none even came close to the service I received here. I can honestly say that this has been the most pleasant part of wedding planning thus far! Michelle and Lulu took care of me through my first appointment, second appointment, and all throughout the process up to purchasing my dress. They were so friendly, accommodating, professional, and personable. I truly cannot say enough good things about Gilded Rose!!

If I could give this salon 10 stars I would. It took visiting 11 bridal salons and not wanting to settle for mediocracy to find Lulu’s beautiful dresses. Michelle and Lulu were absolutely amazing to work with, we tried on lovely dresses and all their dresses were stunning and chic. They worked closely with myself and family to make sure all the boxes were checked on our list such as budget, style, and fit. I’m so thankful for their hard work and dedication to making wedding dress shopping a beautiful experience for not just the bride but the entourage. I couldn’t say thank you enough to these lovely ladies.

I love Gilded Rose Atelier! After shopping at the boutiques in downtown Chicago (Vera Wang, Ultimate Bride, etc.) I decided to check out this boutique in my hometown of Barrington and was SO impressed by their selection. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the space is beautiful! They took their time with me allowing me to browse their selection and try on as many gowns as needed. They even offered to contact designers to make adjustments to the design of certain gowns. I ended up finding my dress here and couldn't be happier!

Gilded Rose is the best!! I went to 4 different bridal shops in the Chicago land area and this by far was my favorite place. And where I ended up saying yes to the dress! They had such an amazing selection of really beautiful, cool dresses in a bunch of different styles, vibes, and price points that I think any type of bride would be able to find something she likes here. It wasn't stuffy like some other places I went to. The store is well lit and quiet. They let me and my guests look around the store but my consultant, Michelle, also picked up on what my style was and picked out a couple dresses she thought I would like. The dresses she picked were ones that I wouldn't have thought to try on, but they ended up being my favorites and the one I ultimately chose! I liked that Michelle and the owner, Lulu, would pick up on my body language and could tell when I was self conscious or when I really felt great in a dress. They never pressured me to commit to a dress or to go beyond my price point. The dress I ended up getting was actually way below my price point! Everyone was just really sweet and friendly. Overall, it was such a lovely wedding dress experience and lots of happy tears were shed here!

Kate is awesome, she was extremely helpful and understood me. The customer service is great, different from any other store I’ve been to in New York. I’ve been recommending all my friends to go there!

I could never have imagined such an amazing place to pick out my wedding dress. Wedding dress shopping was something I was not looking forward to, and I was so worried I would not find a dress that fit my personality, style, and taste. After several not so successful appointments at other places, I decided on a whim to call Gilded Rose Atelier. They were so kind and inviting over the phone that I decided to schedule an appointment and go in. Upon arrival, I immediately had a promising feeling. The salon is stunning in itself. I was greeted by bridal consultant Michelle and owner Lulu, who asked about what looks I was interested in and what I didn’t like. Michelle invited me to look around the salon while she also pulled some dresses that she thought may suit me. I was amazed at their selection of dresses. They were all so stunning and unlike any other salon I have ever been in. I am a bride who does not want a classic, lacey, or full dress but instead was looking for something glam, sleek, and unique. I found about 10 dresses I wanted to try on within minutes. After looking around, Michelle assisted me in trying on all of the gowns, and let me take my time while me and my mom looked at each detail and discussed what we liked and didn’t. Based on what we discussed, Michelle and Lulu would go pull other dresses for me, and were so patient and kind while I evaluated each one. I felt absolutely no pressure or impatience while I was there, but instead was surrounded by a staff who was so helpful and understanding. The dress I chose was the 2nd dress I put on, but I continued to try on others and decided to think on it for a couple of days. I loved every single dress I tried on (I had always said I would never want a full a line dress, however absolutely loved one that Michelle and Lulu pulled for me to try on- they really know what they are doing!) Well sure enough, I could not stop thinking about that 2nd dress, as well as the amazing salon and staff itself, and decided to go back a few days later. Michelle and Lulu were as welcoming as ever, and helped me try on the dress again to help me make my decision even easier. They also helped me find the perfect hair piece to match my dress. They congratulated me with a goody bag of champagne, other goodies, and vendor recommendations. I could not have asked for a more personalized, stress free, & luxurious experience in picking a wedding dress. I had felt so discouraged before finding this salon. I am extremely picky, and even for other events have spent months looking for a dress. Between the selection of gowns, as well as the amazing staff, that was not the case here. You will not find any dresses like the dresses at Gilded Rose Atelier. The gowns here are truly a work of art and one of a kind compared to other Bridal Salons. As stated before, Lulu and Michelle made this the most painless, pressure free & pleasant experience I ever could have asked for, I was actually sad to find my dress so soon and leave the salon! They truly listen to your words, and will help you find the perfect wedding dress. If you are looking for a similar experience to mine, Gilded Rose Atelier is the place to go. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Sparkling clean and absolutely stunning atelier! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with experience and very very helpful! The gowns are beautiful and it was an amazing experience! My mom found the perfect dress to walk me down the aisle! Highly recommended! Best part the little gift in the end was a box of chocolates and a mini champagne to take home! Thank you ladies!
