When I tell you that Gina and her amazing team saved my wedding, they did just that. We hired Gina James Events for day of planning. Our wedding was going to be outdoors and or tent and lights etc needed to be installed. Gina was my planner and... she contacted our equipment vendor the day before just to verify everything one more time. She was told that everything was fine and the installation company gave the time they would show up for installation.
The next day wedding day and Gina and her team of planners are onsite early. Gina receives a call from our installation company that they did not receive the proper licenses, and permits for set up because most governenment offices are working with smaller staff due to covid. Keep in mind their fee included all licenses, permits, installation etc. We were lost, we figured our wedding day was over before it even started. How could we possibly find an alternative the day of? Not to mention, the equipment company would not give us our money back. When Gina asked about a refund, she was told that it was our problem, not theirs.
Gina got on the phone, made some calls and somehow found us a vendor that could do it for us that day, and it would not set our time back much at all. However there was a $3,000 fee for this and because we could not get a refund from previous vendor, we did not have that in our budget to pay. To our surprise, Gina paid the entire $3,000 fee out of her own pocket. The fee she charged us for day of was only $1,900. Who does that? I was in tears. Gina simply said to me." I promised you the wedding of your dreams, and by any means necessary, we get it done". OMG they just do not make humans like this anymore. Thank you Gina for saving my special day."
