We just hosted our daughter's wedding reception at Giracci Vineyards this past July and it was absolutely magical! Our guests keep raving about how it was the most beautiful reception that they have ever attended. Most importantly, our daughter and son-in-law stated it was the wedding of their dreams!
Giracci is located in Silverado in the beautiful foothills of the mountains. It has huge gorgeous mature oak trees (i think that is what they are) which are wrapped in fairy lights. For the venue fee, we were able to pick 2 of their 4 locations to host our reception. All 4 (3 are outdoor and 1 indoor) are spectacular choices. We went with the fountain area that has a raised stage (perfect for the band) for the cocktail reception/dancing and the grassy area with big oak tree next to it for the dinner. These locations are close to one another and also close to the bathrooms for the guests.
Our contact at Giracci was Linda who was so easy to work with from the beginning. The entire process to view and book the venue was easy. We came twice to view the venue before finalizing our decision. We never felt pressured. They provided suggested vendors as well but worked with us in certain areas where we had some preferences. At the final meeting on premises with the various vendors, it was evident that Linda was very knowledgable on all aspects and worked well with our vendors. She had great suggestions and ideas for how to keep the budget in line.
If you plan on serving wine at your event, all wine must be purchased from Giracci. Our family are big wine drinkers and have our preferences. While at first we were a little skeptical, let me assure you their wines are WONDERFUL! Seriously, there wasn't a dud in their offerings. In fact, we are now Giracci wine club members which I highly recommend.
The time of year we chose for the reception was perfect. The flowers at Giracci were in full bloom and just stunning. The venue is so beautiful that we really didn't have to kill the budget with additional decor other than flowers/votives for all the tables and 3 crystal chandeliers with some white draping in the big oak tree where dinner was served. At the time of this review, we don't have the pictures back from the photographer or I would attach them.
Everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. I can't stress enough how thrilled we are that we chose Giracci Vineyards for our daughter's wedding reception. Weddings are a very expensive investment here in Orange County and we felt that choosing Giracci Vineyards was perfect choice. My only regret is that it all went by too fast!

When it comes to choosing the perfect venue for your wedding day there are so many considerations to factor in. From the first time my then fiancé and I met with wedding coordinators at Giracci Vineyards we knew this was the perfect venue for us. We wanted a rustic chic elegance that would provide for a beautiful ambiance. We were so pleased with all the options they have to choose from; a list of vendors for all your needs(many that are featured on the Knot) a on site day of wedding coordinator and the delicious choices of wine that are from their very own vineyard. The owners and staff at Giracci are very personable and have a true passion for wedding and event planning. I highly recommend this gorgeous venue to anyone who is looking for an exceptional place to make memories happen!

Beautiful venue. HOWEVER, we ran into several issues after the wedding was over that left a bad impression of the venue. When we tried to get back our security deposit, the communication was SLOW and shady. We were uninformed of all the charges they had tacked on until we received the check (which was longer than the stated 30 working days after the event date).
First off, they they charged us an extra $150 to "repair/replace a barn wall with paint." After some investigation, I found out that my mom had tried to hang something on the wall, but one of the venue staff members informed her that was unallowed. The staff member then found a nail on the barn wall and told my mom to hang the decoration there. The venue tried to charge me for this thinking that I was unaware of the situation.... After speaking with Giracci, they stated they could remove the charge.
Second and MOST IMPORTANTLY, we had picked the fountain area as our ceremony site. However, during the wedding rehearsal 2 days before the wedding date, we noticed there was a swarm of bees around the fountain. Giracci staff members promised us that the bees would not be there that day, kindly informing us that the water in the fountain would be bleached on the day of and be rid of bees. The wedding date came, and the swarm of bees were still around the fountain even with the bleached water. An hour before the ceremony was about to be begin, my wonderful wedding coordinator made the call to change the ceremony site to a different area, since the bees were relentless. The ceremony turned out fine despite the last-minute changes. However, I was a bit disappointed since the florals we got were specifically made for the fountain, and not the other site. We had gotten no floral arch, since we had intended to use the fountain as the ceremony site. Giracci had the audacity to charge us an EXTRA $300 to re-set up ceremony chairs at a different site, EVEN THOUGH they were the ones who had assured us the bees would not be at the fountain on the day of. I believe this was completely unfair since they had listed the fountain as a FUNCTIONAL ceremony site, which did NOT turn out to be the case. Had we known it was not a feasible ceremony site, we would've picked a different site and obtained matching florals for that site... It was so WRONG of them to charge me an extra $300 for their mistake. When asked if they could kindly remove the charge, they said no and said that "the bees always leave at 3:30 pm. I know their schedule and the bees would not have been there during your ceremony." PSA: If you decide to pick Giracci as your wedding venue, do NOT pick the fountain area as your ceremony site unless you want to get attacked by bees on your wedding day. I was extremely disappointed in how Giracci handled the situation. They offered me some wine festival tickets, but could not return the money that was unfairly charged to me.
If after reading all this and you still decide to choose Giracci as your venue, please be cautious. The staff members are very kind, but the kindness can be deceiving. Nonetheless, this is still a beautiful barn venue with romantic twinkle lights. They have very strict rules, so make sure you read the contract carefully and thoroughly.

We take all feedback and concerns very seriously. After careful consideration and investi...
gation of your concerns, we have found that the charges assessed to your security deposit were appropriate. I am surprised to see this review. Especially after an earlier telephone conversation occurring between you and one of our staff members and 2 conversations, I had with you personally regarding your wedding invoice fees and day of charges. At the conclusion of our conversation, you did not express any other complaints and appeared to be satisfied with our goodwill gesture and offer of the tickets to our OC Wine and Spirit Fest and a courtesy refund of the wall damage fee. In conclusion - with the acceptance of our offer and no further questions - you and I agreed, and we considered this matter to be closed. After seeing this review, I contacted you and you texted me back stating that if I gave you more money you would remove the review.
Your advice to read the contract is good advice and for that reason we asked you to initial each area. Your contract stated that you read all sections. All the sections addressed the changes made to your security deposit. It is very rare that we have additional charges to the security deposit. I do understand that this was due to some damage and that is why you have event insurance. However the largest charge was one that you requested for an additional hour of wedding time.
I will address each of your concerns below.
1. Addition Use Time-
a. On review of your final timeline for the week of your wedding, it was noted that your wedding was 1 hour over your contracted time.
b. Your contract noted 5 hrs of event time.
c. Your wedding/timeline was 6 hours.
d. It is noted in your agreement that any additional time would result in an additional charge.
For these reasons this fee was found to be appropriately charged.
2. Fee for Cleanup of Vomitus/Hazardous Waste- 4 episodes of VOMITING
a. Your contract noted that if there is an additional fee for cleaning services beyond reasonable and routine cleaning there is an additional cleaning fee.
b. 4 episodes of vomiting is out of the ordinary and biohazardous waste/vomiting requires special cleaning.
c. We are required for the protection of your guest to use special staff and cleaning methods for cleaning BIOHAZARDOUS WASTE DUE TO COVID RULES
d. Staff was accessed to for this cleaning 4-5 times.
For these reasons this fee was found to be appropriately charged.
3. Damage to Wall-
a. The contract (see section 9) states you cannot affix anything to any surface.
i. Your sign was noted by staff affixed to the wall.
ii. The $125 fee (not $150) was refunded to you as a courtesy.
For this reason, this fee was refunded to you as a courtesy.
4. Additional Fees For Services Incurred/Reset of Ceremony Space-
a. A reset of your wedding Ceremony set was requested by you/your representative 1-2 hours prior to your event.
b. Staff tried to let you know that there would be no bees at the time of your wedding.
c. In the first paragraph of your contract, it notes that” The final amount may change based upon additional service rendered and or goods purchased.”
d. Additional staff had to be called in to reset your event space incurring an additional cost.
e. As we are required to retain video and pictures of these occurrences by our insurance for risk management purposes, we pulled that video for you.
f. It was your choice to move the site. It was an additional cost to the venue based upon additional service rendered and therefore we found the charge to be appropriate.
5. “Staff members are very kind, but kindness can be deceiving” Honeybees.
a. Although the bees were not present at the time of your wedding, as assured by staff, bees are always present in a rose garden. This is how flowers are pollinated.
b. There have been many weddings/events in this area before and after your wedding.
c. Section 11 and 13 of the contract addresses risks and acts of God.
d. Our staff was honest with you and as you noted “very kind".
On leaving the venue you said you had a fabulous day AND EVEN PROVIDE GRATUITY TO STAFF.
I WOULD WELCOME ANY FURTHER CONVERSATION YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE.
BEST REGARDS,
LINDA KEARNS AND STAFF

We chose Giracci for the location and the beautiful grounds. The day of the wedding went very well and the whole team was so helpful and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. Its really nice that there are multiple spaces you can rent and the space as a whole has a very calming presence to it. Their on-site guy who helps with all aspects of the day is a total rock star and really made our day memerable! I also liked that they worked with 24 Carrots, who provided amazing food and service. I would recommend Giracci with one caviat that I think is important to disclose:
Something to be aware of is the process to get to the day was a bit bumpy and felt unorganized at times. The biggest issue we came across was the string lights in the barn. During my site visit to view the space we were told that the string lights were included with the rental of using the barn space. At the time of our walk through, we were told all lighting was included, except if we wanted bistro lights strung by the gazebo which was so great to hear! The string lights totally make the barn space magical! They even say in their pricing sheet that "all exisitng lighting in the barn included". When you read that along with the other items they include (chairs, tables, high tables, etc.) it is expected that the lights are included in the fee. It wasn't until we were 4-5 months out from our wedding that we learned the lights are actually owned by a rental company and are in fact NOT included in the rental fee, resulting in an additional $2,000 needing to be spent to have the lights on for our day. To be honest, we were a bit heartbroken. This was very hard to swallow since we had already allocated all of our funds at that point for the remainder of our wedding but we couldnt go without the lights because they really do make the barn space beautiful! It would have been easier to work through if they had acknolodged they did not specify this correctly on their package or even a small apology for the confusion, but we were left with a very straight "sorry not sorry" response. For an item with this high of a price point, it should be very clearly noted that using the barn will require lighting rentals and also a generator to keep them running - which was strange to me considering the barn is covered in solar panels, why are these not in use? I could not find any wording anywhere in our email correspondants or contract that would have alluded to different information then what we were told in person. I hope they can revise their documents and train their staff to be very open about what is included with the site fee, so other couples are not caught off guard as we were.

My husband and I got married at Giracci on 6/25/22. Let me start out by saying our wedding was amazing and the venue is absolutely stunning! However, we did run into a few issues along our wedding planning journey - mainly being unexpected expenses. We were not told that we would have to pay for the lighting in the barn ($1500) and it wasn't completely clear to us that we had to buy Giracci's wine for our event (as opposed to buying from 24 Carrots who is the exclusive caterer). These expenses weren't disclosed to us until about 2-3 months out from our wedding which was surprising and disappointing. You also have to use exclusive vendors for both catering and rentals which are a little more expensive than we we thought they would be - however 24 Carrots staff is absolutely amazing and the food was fantastic! The communication is also a little lacking with Giracci - they are slow to answer emails, but they do get back to you eventually.
I don't want to sound super negative because the venue is amazing - but these are things I wish I was aware of when I was planning, so I want to pass the info along! Our wedding went off without a hitch - other than the barn being pretty hot during dinner, but it was June so what can you do. Just be aware that there is no AC in the barn or grooms suite (however there is AC in the bridal suite). I would suggest hiring one of the preferred wedding coordinators because they really know the ins and outs of how the venue operates.

We thank Molly for her review and based on this we have reviewed the Wedding Coordinator f...
or this wedding. The wedding coordinator for this wedding is the same Co-ordinator as the Kate Y wedding. Joy and Company. Although this Company signed our agreement to provide certain services to our couples, we found that this Wedding Coordination Company was not up to our standards, did not provide the services that we required and they only provide the bare bones for wedding planning. Although we do provide Vendor Coordination the day of the wedding, Giracci Vineyards provides the venue and does not provide wedding coordination. Make sure your coordinator meets your expectaions and performs the responsibities required of the venue. This Wedding Coordinator is no longer providing service at our venue. We also encourage you to use the phone and give a personal number out for text and phone calls for fast response as we are working events and not always on email. We realize the urgency of needing an answer and encourage brides and grooms to use the Phone Number that we give to you. As Molly encourages please pick from our preferred vendor list. These are the vendors that have been at our venue and have been recommended by our past couples. We are a winery and each agreement specifies that only our wine will be served at the event unless otherwise stated in the agreement. I am sorry it came as a surprise. We encourage all couples to please read your agreements. Please come back and enjoy a complementary tasting on your anniversary,

Thank you so much for making our wedding the best day of our lives! The staff at Giracci make you feel like family and the venue could not be more stunning! I dreamt of my wedding for years but never could I have imagined that it would be as perfect and beautiful as it was! We have our vendors and Giracci to thank. We could not be more grateful as we felt truly blessed to be able to marry under the old oak trees and party in the magnificent barn! I wish we could get married there every weekend, haha! It was just that perfect and so much fun!! We worked most closely with Michele and she became such an integral part of our planning process. Any questions we had, she answered. She always met us with open arms and helped make our dream wedding come to life. Kevin and I will remember this day forever! I especially love that we can enjoy our wedding venue for years to come as we plan to visit for many glasses of their delicious wine!

Giracci is a beautiful rustic site that is hidden in the hills of Orange County. The venue was perfect for our rustic affair, and we loved that we had several site choices that we could work with. We had our ceremony on the Stone Cottage Lawn, and the reception on the Wishing Well Court. The Giracci team worked to make sure that we have ever detail covered, and they really pulled our vision together. The site worked with us on a few different ideas and projects that were new to them, and it was a fun collaboration. The wine was delicious, we had almost no bottles left at the end of the night, and they have several great wines to choose from. I would highly recommend this site if you are looking for something that transports you a rustic location, and makes you feel like you are not in Orange County anymore. They do several events a year now, but never 2 events on the same day. My only critique is that sometimes communication was slow, but all in all we were so happy with the venue, and our guests could not stop talking about it...especially the locals!
