My husband and I just got married at the Glacier Club. Our original plan was to get married in Tahoe, but due to wildfires,= we had to cancel last minute. We rerouted the wedding t...
o Durango a month later from our original date. Without Constanze, the Glacier Club's Catering and Events manager, this would not have been possible. She met with us, helped us secure a new date ASAP, and even helped us locate new vendors on a short notice. I was not only blown away by her professionalism and kindness, but that of the whole Glacier Club staff. Everything was first class and Constanze and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. So many of our guests said this was the greatest wedding they have ever attended, and that would not have been possible without the Glacier Club team.
From the first day that we visited the venue in 2019 (pre-pandemic) to our original wedding date October 10,2020(Mid pandemic) to our actual wedding day October 02,2021(still pande...
mic) Costanze and her team did everything they could to make our experience special and perfect. When you choose this venue you are getting it all. Above and beyond service from start to finish, beautiful views, stunning great room, amazing food, and so much more. The views from the VIP tee box ceremony space blew all our guests away and the food is still getting rave reviews two weeks later from family and friends. All of this was so great but I have to say the greatest value you are getting when you choose this venue is Constanze. She is a professional through and through and takes pride in the work she does. I couldn't have imagined a better place to celebrate our long awaited day!
My now husband and I had the absolute privilege of getting married at Glacier Club on Tamarron Resort on 5/29/2021. Our wedding was literally a perfect night, and our wedding coord...
inator, Constanze, played a HUGE part in this. From the start of the wedding planning process she guided me, answered endless questions, gave me suggestions/ideas, and picked up on details I would have missed. She was so patient, helpful and genuinely kind that it made the wedding planning process as well as our wedding night go even better than I could have hoped. I cannot thank her enough as well as the excellent staff/chef at Glacier Club for making sure our wedding was the perfect night. We had a lot of family travel from out of town and we heard endless comments about how breathtaking the entire resort is. Could not have better things to say about it!
This venue was perfect for our wedding and Constanze took care of every detail. She walked us through every step and made the whole process so easy . The food was amazing and just...
a beautiful location. Definitely 5 stars!!! Thank you so much for everything !!
Constanze took care of us and did more than we could imagine for a wedding ceremony and reception. There was not one thing that was negative about our experience. We stayed at Tama...
rron and made a whole week out of it. We had about 200 people and Constanze and Cole were able to deliver 200%. The level of professionalism and planning was phenomenal. I recommend completely.
My daughter had her wedding at the Glacier Club, one of the most beautiful locations in Durango, Colorado, last June. I want to commend the Glacier Club staff on making her wedding...
perfect in every way.
Constanze Strader, Catering and Events Manager, was a pleasure to work with and guided us through the planning process in the months before the wedding to create a beautiful event. We were able to reserve the Clubhouse for both the reception and a meet-and-greet barbeque the night before the wedding. This allowed our guests, who were all from out of town, the opportunity to spend relaxed time together prior to the wedding. The bride also worked with the Lucas Butler on the Glacier Club golf staff, who did a great job arranging a golf scramble, enjoyed by the family and friends of the bride.
Constanze went “above and beyond” on so many occasions. She helped us set up décor at the reception site and when rain forced us to move the ceremony inside from their beautiful outdoor wedding site, Constanze worked in the rain to move floral arrangements inside. She and her staff worked very quickly to rearrange the reception site to have the ceremony in front of the fireplace, and the results were magnificent. Thanks also to Tom Beekman, Food and Beverage Director, in assisting us in food selection and helping us in reception set-up and the last minute changes for the ceremony.
Food at Glacier Club was outstanding and everyone (including the children) enjoyed their meals. Constanze stayed at the reception until everyone had been served dinner and made sure service was smooth. The Glacier Club service staff was excellent and very attentive during cocktail hour, the dinner and through the remainder of the reception. Josiah was available throughout the evening and did a great job making sure all our needs were met.
The majority of our guests stayed in the lodge or condos at Glacier Club, and they were happy with their accommodations. It was very convenient and allowed us to spend much more time together than normally occurs during a wedding.
The Glacier Club is such a wonderful venue, I and would highly recommend it for a wedding. The wedding weekend was absolutely perfect, and the guests told us repeatedly that “it was the best wedding they had ever attended”.
After a sudden loss of venue a few months before our wedding, Constanze and her staff were lifesavers. They were able to quickly pick up many of our plans and details and turn it i...
nto our dream wedding in a relatively short amount of time. Changing to a new venue three months before the big day is no easy task, especially for a stressed-out bride. However, they were able to incorporate our vendors and helped us create an amazing menu, that accommodated the many food restrictions of our guests. The day-of ran smoothly, the space was amazing, and all our guests had a great time. The event space at the Valley Clubhouse made for the perfect venue, especially with so many out-of-town guests. It was very versatile while also having some great details that echoed the history of the San Juan Mountains. We loved that there was both an indoor and outdoor space and that the large garage doors could be open to expanding. Our guests are still raving about the amazing space and food.
