was my hair staying intact for the entire wedding, as I have very thick hair. My hair stayed ALL NIGHT!! I was very happy with my overall look and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. Recommend!

She listened intently when I explained things that I knew I didn’t like and presented other alternatives to test during the trial that could make me feel more comfortable. She took all of my suggestions and was very flexible two days before the wedding when all of my bridesmaids changed their minds and decided they wanted air brush makeup because of the heat. On the day of the wedding, Katie and Kiara arrived early before 7am to setup and were done about an hour early with myself and the 7 other women who needed their makeup done! I loved being ahead of schedule and it make the whole process much less stressful. Katie and Kiara came prepared, were very professional and made us all feel and look beautiful! I would highly recommend Glamour Beauty!!

She suggested a more subtle lip color and it looked perfect with the drama of the eyes. She is worth booking and reasonably priced.

Everyone loved their hair and makeup and it lasted through out the whole night. Katie recommended getting my own lipstick for touch ups and I definitely agree! It's also fun to be able to keep your wedding day lipstick!

d it was something to make the wedding day feel special. After struggling to find someone who was available, affordable, and willing to travel to the North Shore of Lake Superior I finally found Glamour Beauty. Katie, the owner, was extremely prompt and patient when I had questions. Even when I dragged my feet a bit before committing. The contract was itemized and I knew what my services would be and what they would cost. Something to be aware of for this vendor: the Glamour Beauty contract states you cannot amend the total cost due within 6 weeks of the event. They also will not schedule a trial with you prior to 6 weeks out. This means they will not schedule your hair and makeup trial until you are contractually locked into your final rate, even if you want to eliminate services after your trial. This to me seems pretty dubious and obviously an insurance tactic by design. For my experience, I felt pretty shaken after my hair and makeup trial. My makeup felt thick, cakey, and heavy. And my hair really did not look like the inspiration photos we'd gone over together in salon. After the trial I opted to do my own makeup for the wedding, but was still contractually obligated to pay for expensive bridal makeup services. On the wedding day, our stylist Sommer arrived on time and was friendly and professional throughout the morning. I had shared a different inspiration photo with her than the hair trial and she checked in with me multiple times while she worked to make sure I was happy with the result, which I greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, it took longer to style five ladies than we were quoted on the schedule and we finished later than the hard end time I had submitted. As a result, I was an hour late to my wedding ceremony. In summary: -I would not recommend Glamour Beauty based on my personal wedding experience. -If possible, brides who are uncertain about their hair and makeup should schedule a trial before signing a contract with Glamour Beauty. This will let you know if their hair and makeup services are right for you.

r girls, and myself the bride. Not only did they get everyone done ahead of schedule, but the hair and makeup lasted all day, no small feat in -20 weather. Both eyeliner and curls did not budge, even after close to 2 hours outside for photos! I loved them so much, that I reccomended them to a friend who recently got married. I'm happy to report that my MOH hair and makeup looked stunning and also held up all day in the hot summer weather.

My hair and makeup stayed flawless from 8am when I got it done until the end of the night. It was exactly what I asked for and the trial done previously made me feel at ease on the day of. We had Katie, Macy, and Tommy and they were all on time, did beautiful jobs, and finished in less than 3 hours which was sooner than I had planned for. We highly recommend Glamour Beauty for any professional event!

I was very nervous about the pandemic and what that would mean for us, but Katie reassured me that everything was taken care of (they have back-ups and use multiple sanitation/preventative measures). I had my trial with Katie and it was my first time getting my makeup professionally done with airbrush and wearing fake eyelashes…let me tell you I looked in the mirror and I think I said “DAMN”!!!! I have never seen myself so dolled up. She also took really good notes & pics and made everything available in my portal. Day of the wedding, I had 6 bridesmaids that needed to have BOTH their hair and makeup done. They arrived on time and even finished 20 minutes ahead of schedule! Which my photographer agreed that rarely happens for other weddings!! Unfortunately, 3 of my bridesmaids did not care for their looks which they ended up correcting themselves after they left and wanted their money back (which I already paid for a few weeks ago). Also, unfortunately, I did my first look with my husband prior to the ceremony and after kissing/hugging with my face against his beard…the airbrush foundation on my nose and half of my right face rubbed completely off! And the foundation we had was not blending in since it wasn’t the same consistency of the airbrush! This did NOT happen during my trial so I’m not sure what happened, and there isn’t anything anyone could have done… but my bridesmaid had to wipe off all of the foundation and apply the makeup she brought - no lie - 10 minutes before I walked down the aisle! So in the interest of being transparent, I wanted to note that, so that I could recommend anyone out there reading this to either not do a first look before the ceremony, or else be extremely careful with your face! Again, not really a reflection of Glamour beauty at all. Overall I had a wonderful experience and am so thankful for Katie and everyone at Glamour Beauty!!
