These women were the absolute best! It was my 3rd and final appointment of the day and they blew me and my family away with how fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. They pulled all the best dresses I'd put on all day, we're respectful of my budget, and cheered me on the whole way through. If you want to find your dream dress and enjoy the process, Global is a must!! Thank you!!

We need more than 5 stars! After a not great experience at David's Bridal (I know, I know--you can't compare a true Bridal Salon with David's--lesson learned) the Global Bridal Gallery team came to my rescue. A truly night and day experience. I am an older bride (ok--ancient) and they never made me feel like I was any less special than the lovely 20-something they also were assisting that day. They absolutely stayed within my budget, honored my vision, but also gave me some options I might not have considered. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and so positive! I found the perfect dress--and in time for my April 2023 wedding. I can't wait to wear it!

Being a plus sized bride, I was nervous about trying dresses on and did my research to hopefully find a place I'd have a good experience. Global Bridal Gallery went above and beyond what I hoped for. My nerves were quickly calmed and I was able to have the dress trying on experience I had always hoped for. They had such a great selection of sizes and styles. After my first visit, I thought I had found 'the one'. On my second visit, as soon as I entered, I was told we have a dress you need to try on that just arrived. I put it on and knew right away this was the dress. It was stunning and so sparkly! I received so many compliments about it. Any bride I talk to, I recommend Global Bridal Gallery. It is one stop shop that makes you feel like you are their only customer and so special. I can't say enough about my experience.

This was the first dress shop I visited, and ended up being where I returned to buy my dress! Vicky was so patient with me throughout my appointment as I figured out what I liked, and when I returned later to buy the dress I wanted, I was able to try on the dress again and make sure I was choosing the color I wanted. I ordered my dress the end of Feb and it arrived in late Aug. The ladies who did the alterations did a great job with the fit and ensured the dress was ready in time for my 10/2/22 wedding. Overall, a great experience!

I went to Global Bridal Gallery back in 2019 for my wedding dress. They were so patient during the process of trying on dresses and selection. There were so many gorgeous ones, it was so difficult to choose! I picked a Martin Thornburg dress with straps, delicate details, and a long train. I was supposed to wear it in my 2020 wedding, but finally had the chance to wear it recently in May 2022. It is such a beautiful dress and I am so happy I went to Global Bridal Gallery. I highly recommend this shop to all of the brides-to-be!

Marie and the rest of the staff at Global Bridal were absolutely incredible! I found my dream dress at the salon in mid-August but there had to be some alterations in the fabric - less nude, more ivory for a church wedding - and so I was expecting it to be a race to the altar in terms of when the dress would be ready. To my delight the ladies had everything completed beautifully in plenty of time. The dresses are exquisite and the professionals working there are just wonderful. Thank you for everything!

One of the first dresses my consultant picked was THE dress! Never thought I’d cry after I found the dress but I did. This was the easiest appointment I’ve had and I came in way under budget. I couldn’t be happier.

They have a great team, so encouraging and fun. They made it easy to find a wedding dress in my budget. They were wonderful about communication, keeping me updated on the status of my dress throughout the process. The tailors are amazing, the bustle they created looked so elegant. I recommend them to everyone.

They are the sweetest! I tried on a number of different styles and cuts, and the staff was so helpful as I tried to determine what was best. The appointments were always enjoyable and the alterations staff was very helpful too. Dress options come at reasonable prices.

I worked with Marie twice at Global Bridal and she was phenomenal! I so appreciate that she was very good about pulling dresses that were within my budget, so many other shops try to pressure you into going over budget, but Marie was understanding and respectful. I made two visits because as I had been trying on dresses, my vision evolved and Global Bridal was able to suggest several different gowns within my budget and criteria. The shop is a little homey, but the gowns were clean and in good condition. I ultimately ended up getting a dress elsewhere, but would totally recommend Global Bridal.

Marie was my consultant and she was wonderfully kind, bright and chatty. My mom and I enjoyed talking with her. She was professional and was able to pull gowns from what I was looking for. She pulled a gown that exceeded my expectations and matched a long veil to go perfectly with it. As beautiful as it was and I loved it. I did not say yes to the dress, as I needed to go home and think about it. I ended up going for a dress that I originally found online and Global Bridal Gallery did not carry it. I recommend this boutique! Store was clean and organized. Plenty of street parking.

Global Bridal Gallery was AMAZING! I had my first appointment with them and they took really good care of me. I had only one style in mind and at the time I thought the style I chose was what I wanted. I ended up not getting a dress that appointment. I went to 5 other appointments and couldn't find "the one." When I went back I told Marie to pull me mermaid style dresses and she pulled some of the most beautiful gowns I have ever seen. I found my dress that appointment. She had me walk to the door and back and when I did I knew at that moment it was for sure the one I was getting married in. I would 10/10 recommend this shop to anyone.

I did not end up purchasing my dress from Global Bridal. Upon hearing my budget, the staff pretty immediately said it would not be possible, which set a bad tone for the appointment. We actually did end up finding a dress on sale that would have fit the bill, but I ended up feeling uncomfortable for the whole appointment because of the initial comment about my budget. I also didn't feel like I had the full attention of the person helping me. She would disappear for extended periods of time. The dresses were lovely, but not a great shopping experience.

Global Bridal Gallery was a dream come true for dress shopping and alterations. The dress shopping experience was phenomenal – Marie and Serki both listened to exactly what I was saying I wanted and brought me dresses that fit the bill – the third one I tried on was the one! They were also just the warmest, most pleasant salespeople ever – my mom and I felt like they were members of the family by the time we left the store. They were super supportive about me going to another dress store I had already made an appointment at before deciding on my dress, but told me “we can tell you love it and we know you’ll be back” – and they were right! I came back the next day, tried the dress on again, and bought it. I also did my alterations with Global Bridal Gallery and they did a phenomenal job. I had two fittings and needed minimal alterations – cups added, taken in at the waist, taken out at the hips, bustle added – and they executed them perfectly. They made me feel beautiful every time I came in. I cannot thank Global Bridal Gallery enough for making me feel like the gorgeous bride I had always hoped to be.

This is the shop you need to visit FIRST! I GBG being the last stop. The other shops had beautiful dresses, but the selection and customer service did even compare to GBG's! They have a HUGE selection so it was easy for them to pull dresses that matched my vision. Not only did they help me select the perfect dress, but I also trusted them to do the alterations on the dress, which was one of the best decisions I made. The dress fit like a glove. When I went to pick up the dress after my fittings were done, they asked me to try the dress on one last time. I hadn't really planned on this, but figured it couldn't hurt. I was SO THANKFUL I did. I had lost a little more weight since my previous fitting and the dress was just a tiny bit loose under my arms. The amazing staff member told me to go grab a coffee and come back in 45 minutes. In that time she had tailored that part of my dress so when I put it on 3 days later it was PERFECTION - and I felt so confident in it. I thoroughly recommend this shop!

Great gown selection at varying price points and expert tailoring!

I LOVED working with Maria! She "took me shopping" and it was so fun! I went in looking for something totally different than what I found. I kept telling her every dress "wasn't enough" and that "I wanted more va-va-voom". Maria found me VA-VA-VOOM! And I had so much fun doing it with her. I would not have found that dress without her and it truly is the dress of my dreams. I cried when the she put the veil on and we knew it was the one. Thank you SO much Global Bridal and especially thank you to Maria!

Thank you to Global Bridal Gallery for helping me to find the wedding gown of my dreams. Diane worked closely with me to curate gowns that matched my requests, but also thought outside the box to suggest flattering styles I had not previously considered. Diane ultimately helped to piece together the perfect look I may not have envisioned otherwise, and I am grateful for her thoughtful elegance in styling me for my wedding. Global Bridal Gallery also completed my alterations in house and helped to preserve my gown after our special day.

I found my perfect dress, in my budget, with the help of the wonderful Marie. Marie listened to what I was looking for, and the very first dress she picked out was the one we ended up buying. The best part was she knew my style even better than I did, because I probably would not have picked that dress to try on. This was hands down the best bridal salon that I visited, and I’m so glad a friend’s recommendations brought me here!!

Global Bridal Gallery had a great selection of dresses in a variety of price ranges. Serki was fantastic to work with as she was very respectful of my budget and provided lots of options to help me figure out what I liked and did not like for my first visit. She listened to my comments and modified picks based on them and never rushed the appointment. I returned for another visit and ultimately bought a dress at GBG. Serki supported me through each appointment, was friendly, and professional throughout the process.

I initially chose to visit GBG due to all their 5-star reviews. Bridal shops can be a little uncomfortable when sharing your size, budget, style, etc. Global Bridal Gallery listened to my needs and feedback and respected my budget from the first visit! They were very honest about costs “that dress is beautiful, but, it’s more than your budget…” and then would find me a similar style dress within my budget. I actually came back a few times to try on dresses and they were extremely patient each time. They were upfront about the adjustments that would need to be made to the dress I finally picked and how much those would cost. On my wedding day, I had a dress that looked like it was MADE FOR ME thanks to Global Bridal Gallery!! And yes, my husband cried when he saw me in it. Wonderful experience and would recommend to any and all brides!!

Overall, I highly recommend Global Bridal Gallery. Serki really listened to me when I told her what I was looking for (both style and price point) and I chose the first dress she brought out. The seamstress (I think her name was Stacy) was also wonderful to work with - very skilled and so friendly. My one complaint stems from my final fitting. I had to come in by myself and I didn't receive the same attention I had previously because the focus seemed to be on the brides who had guests with them. Stacy was absolutely doing her best, so my complaint is not with her but rather, GBG should have more than one seamstress working with brides on a Saturday afternoon. I waited about 30 minutes to even try on my dress and the woman who was helping Stacy was completely incompetent. I wanted to leave my final appointment feeling amazing and instead I felt unsure about whether my dress was perfect because I hadn't received the level of attention I needed. Regardless of my less than stellar final experience, my dress was beautiful and overall, I'm very satisfied with the level service I received.

I’m so happy a family friend shared this boutique with me before I went wedding dress shopping! From the moment you walk in, they make you feel like you are the only person they are seeing that day and that you have all the time and options in the world. My sales consultant, Marie, made the day even more fun than I expected it to be. Alterations with the boutique are also a breeze and they have some of the best seamstresses on their staff. We also purchased my mother in law’s dress there and had the same great service!

I have nothing but amazing words to say about Global Bridal Gallery. They have felt like family since the day I walked into the bridal salon. The first time I went there I was not expecting to find my dream dress and little did I know I found it within the first four dresses I tried on. I did wait to buy the dress however I bought it shortly after that and the experience was amazing! Even my mother bought her mother of the bride dress at that wedding salon. Danielle, Suki (spelling?), and Maria were all amazing to work with (I’m sorry I can’t rememeber. The names of who else I worked with but they were also exceptional and friendly! ). They were all attentive to my needs and my wants. They were never pushy and due to that I was able to find a dress under budget. Their seamstresses we’re talented, meticulous and miracle workers. They were able to save my mothers veil which I was fortunately able to use on my wedding day because of their great problem-solving skills! I highly recommend using that in regards to any and all bridal dress shopping needs from alterations to dresses to mother of the bride dresses.

I had such a great experience buying my dress from Global Bridal Gallery! They have a large selection and were able to pull a ton of dresses for me to try on that fit my vision and my budget. I found my dream dress during my first visit and after two alterations appointments, it fit perfectly. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free!

I got my dream dress at Global Bridal Gallery and had the best experience! After several lackluster visits to other local bridal salons, I was starting to worry that I'd never find the perfect dress and would have to settle for "good enough." I went dress hunting with my mom and bridesmaids on a couple different occasions with no luck, and eventually decided I would visit a few salons on my own. I was a little nervous about going to try on dresses by myself, but the ladies at Global Bridal Gallery were so kind and welcoming. My consultant Marie was beyond sweet and clearly so excited for me -- she made me feel completely at ease. I had a really specific idea of what I wanted, which I described to Marie, and she brought out multiple options that were spot on. Every other salon I'd gone to, it felt like the consultants weren't listening to me and would bring out dresses that were nothing like I described. Marie was also the only consultant who actually respected my budget -- and, when she had an option she thought I should try that was about $300 over budget, she asked my permission before showing it to me, which I really appreciated. When I first tried it on, I was excited about it, but wanted to see a few more options... a couple dresses later, though, I asked if I could try it on again. That time, I started tearing up and knew it was the one! A couple weeks later, I set up another appointment so my mom, aunt, and a couple of my bridesmaids could see the dress. We had a great time doing the "Say Yes to the Dress" thing! Global Bridal Gallery truly has the best selection of absolutely gorgeous dresses at a reasonable price point in the area. This place is such a gem! Thank you so much to Marie and everyone at Global Bridal Gallery for making my wedding dress dreams come true!

Selecting my dress was nothing short of magical. Serki listened to exactly what I was looking for, and after trying on countless dresses at other bridal galleries, I said "yes" to the first dress she brought out! The only downfall is, they did not have my size in the gallery, so trying it on versus what I actually received were different. The dress was tough to manage after alterations and did not look the same, but still looked good.

Being a woman on the thicker, shorter side, I knew it would be difficult finding a wedding dress. But Danielle at Global Bridal Gallery found me the perfect one. As soon as I put it on, I knew it was the right one. It was strapless with a simple lace pattern and an A line skirt, which was quite flattering on someone with my body shape. The tailoring team then did a wonderful job of hemming the dress, creating the bustles, and tweaking the bodice to fit me. I loved my experiences at Global Bridal Gallery, and I owe it to them for making me look gorgeous on my big day.

I found my wedding dress at Global Bridal Gallery and would definitely recommend any bride include this as a stop during her dress search. First off, GBG has a HUGE selection, so I think this is a great starting place to determine what styles you like and the look you're going for. Second, the prices are incredibly reasonable and fair. There are gowns available for every price point and the same gown is often priced lower here than at other salons; same goes for the accessories (belts, veil, etc) -- you'll pay much less here than elsewhere. I had a great experience picking out my dress and the consultants were patient, accommodating, and had great ideas. I went to Global Bride Gallery because they had a particular dress I wanted to try (which I ultimately purchased) but the consultants did a great job of understanding my style and picking a few similar dresses so I could know what was out there and be absolutely sure of my pick. I should mention that the showroom itself isn't quite as fancy or upscale as many other salons in Alexandria and DC. There's no stage, no professional lighting, no 360 degree mirrors, no champagne, etc.. The showroom is small and the dressings rooms are smaller, BUT in my opinion the selection, reasonable prices, and great service were worth it, but it's just something to be aware of going into it. I also did my alternations at Global Bridal Gallery and had a pretty good experience. The overall cost was pretty standard and the staff were willing to be accommodating and have several follow-up appointments to make sure my dress looked just as I wanted... and it ultimately did! The biggest stressor was when my dress wasn't ready for pick-up and we had to wait for about an hour and a half 2 days before my wedding. All's well that ends well and my dress was worth the wait. The one thing I wish I'd done differently is get input from the alternations staff before ordering a dress size; I was between a few sizes when ordering, and after working with alterations, I probably should have ordered a smaller size based on the work they had to do. It's a small thing, but I'd recommend a little tighter collaboration between the sales consultants & alternations staff if a bride is on the fence about a size. Overall, I highly recommend adding this to your list of stops as you shop for a wedding gown!

Global Bridal Gallery has a wide selection of dresses and prices to suit every need. The staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable of the dresses. Maria, my consultant, was excellent! She knows how to read body types and styles perfectly. She found my dream dress! Highly recommend!

I loved the inventory available and they had so many dresses that were within my price range (under $2,000). Also, I really liked the woman I worked with when I first ordered the dress. Also, the alterations department is amazing and works magic. I snagged the front of my dress with a pin 7 days before the wedding, and by the middle of the week when I picked up the dress it was completely gone, as if it never happened. Amazing work! I am only giving 4 stars because the shop gets really crowded at times and sometimes the staff seemed frazzled. I think that it took away from the very personal feel that I had at some other shops, despite the fact that I visited several times in the process of shopping and fittings.

I had so much fun choosing my dress and working with Global Bridal Gallery! We bought my dress and all 8 bridesmaids’ dresses with the store and they were pleasant to work with and helpful when things went unexpended. They have a great selection and were helpful without being too overbearing with their opinions. As a local bride it was important to me to shop small for my dress and their store definitely gives you that experience!

I worked with Danielle, she made me feel very comfortable and picked dresses that were exactly what I described. If I mentioned one thing about a dress I didn't like, she'd pull another that was perfect. She was respectful of my price range, and did not try too hard to sell me on any accessories after purchasing a gown. I ended up purchasing the 4th gown I tried on, and absolutely loved it for my Outer Banks wedding. This boutique has a wide range of dresses for just about any bride. I chose 4 stars instead of 5 only because the consultants who answered the phone/greeted customers were sometimes rude/forgot about me on the phone (set it down and never picked back up). Alterations in store were professionally done, but a bit pricey. In the end, it was a great experience and I was very happy with my dress.

Global Bridal was the best, from the very beginning! I was late to my very first appointment, but they did their best to help me under difficult circumstances anyway, and in under 15 minutes, I found the dress of my dreams. From there, they helped me to find the perfect veil to compliment my dress. Their fittings were organized, and the work was impeccable. Not only did my dress fit me perfectly, but it was even comfortable! I couldn't be more pleased with Global Bridal and everyone on their team!

SO happy I found this place! It's a lovely positive environment, and they had EVERY style of wedding dress ever for a wide range of budget. I found my dream dress here at a reasonable price (less than $2,000). They also do alterations too and can store your dress in a temperature controlled room until pick-up. It felt like a one-stop shop!

I had a great experience at Global Bridal Gallery. I fell in love with a Lillian West Gown online and called the bridal boutiques in the area. Global Bridal Gallery had it and I scheduled an appointment. They knew exactly where the gown was and I fell in love with it right away. The staff was so sweet and I had all my fittings done at the salon too. The sweetest and knowledgeable tailor too and my gown fit like a glove!

Got my dress at global bridal and everything was perfect. They had such a large variety of dresses to choose from and the prices were all good. They were always so friendly when I went to every appointment. It was also a huge plus that they had the alterations down in the shop right upstairs. Very convenient!

I had gone to 2 other stores in the area, but just had a nagging feeling that I needed to go here too. My parents were in town over the holidays and I called to see if we could pop in. They said they were booked, but when I said that they were leaving on the train they made time for me. (The person on the phone had asked me to hold but I could overhear the conversation that they had to make it work so my mom could be there.) That was such a great feeling to know they cared about my family being there. We arrived shortly after and worked with Marie. She is the wedding dress whisperer! We talked about what I was interested in and looked at pictures of some I had tried. She'll pulled about 5 dresses and we got to work. They were all stunning, but one was a little different from everything else I had looked at. At first I didn't even want to come out of the fitting room, but Marie knew what she was doing and it ended up being the dress I picked. It was absolutely perfect for my outdoor summer wedding! I decided to do alterations with the store too. They did a great job and were attentive at all 4 of my fittings.

After hitting probably five other salons and finding potential "the dress" dresses at all of them, which all broke my heart by being out of budget or at the top of my budget range ($1750), I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I went to my appointment solo with my maid of honor on video chat. Marie came in, took me under her wing, and put me in gorgeous dress after dress that ALL came in way under budget. There were fun dresses, sexy dresses, romantic dresses, classic dresses, and modern dresses. Then came THE dress. It was far more dress than I thought I wanted, a big ball gown, lots of layers, and rose (as opposed to the still ivory I thought I wanted). I walk out, my MoH starts getting teary eyed, I get teary eyed, Marie is gushing, and the dress, this big beautiful dress that I never would've gone for if not for Marie, is perfect. It has the simplicity I want but enough soft details to keep it interesting. Marie puts on a belt and a veil and my MoH is sobbing. Two weeks later, I'm still thinking about the dress. I bring a local bridesmaid, and she falls in love with it too. Another week later, my parents (who had been away for a month) are finally able to see the dress before I buy and they're in love with it too. Marie and the rest of the staff were so beyond gracious, and patient with me. They made me feel like family. The best part? My perfect lovely dress was $500 under budget.

My dress was gorgeous and my alterations were fantastic. They did everything they could to get my highly beaded dress to hug my shape and fit perfectly! I was so pleased! They aren’t cheap but they are worth it!

I'm so glad to say that this was not the first place I went dress shopping. The whole experience at this establishment left me shaking with frustration and outrage! As soon as we entered, the consultant was very dismissive and discourteous. She was Ill-mannered and acted like my SCHEDULED appointment was a massive inconvenience! I gave her my budget, which was fine with three other AMAZING shops that went above and beyond! The "consultant" here threw me two dresses and did not offer any assistance in the 'trying on' process. After these two options she said "well this is my last ditch effort," and showed me one more that was nothing like what I had asked for. Who treats a bride and her family like this on such a special day?! I will be telling all of my friends not to even waste their time here. There are better shops in Old Town that care about their brides! This place is an absolute disgrace and I am very happy that I went with another boutique. "Good luck" with the rest of your business.

If you are looking for a wedding dress you must come to Global Bridal Gallery and work with Danielle. She is the sweetest person in the world! She is kind, helpful, and really makes the experience that much better. They have such wonderful selections and I am happy to say I said "Yes" to the dress here. I had an amazing experience at Global Bridal Gallery. Michele took the time to talk to me about my vision, and then pulled a few things that matched that and a few that were a little different. The first dress she had me try on matched the neckline I wanted but was completely different from everything else I imagined... and it was PERFECT. She matched a veil to complete the look and then worked with the store managers to get me my dream bridal ensemble at a price I could afford. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Michele and all the women at GBG. Thank you all for making my dreams come true!

Go here! The experience was amazing. I had been to about 5 other bridal salons at this point and torn between a few options. Finding a dress with long sleeves isn’t easy, but Danielle and the owner helped me find my perfect dress! I ended up going with a wildcard pick, which is something the other salons didn’t do. If you haven’t found what you’re looking for or what you’ve always envisioned yourself in, go to global!

I truly had an amazing experience at Global Bridal Gallery and their customer service is unparalleled! I started dress shopping only a few months before my nuptials and had been to multiple salons prior to my appointment at Global Bridal. My experiences had been mixed and in general I felt that most shops were disinterested as I wanted to purchase a sample dress and had a relatively constrained timeframe. The women at Global were incredibly warm and friendly and immediately put me at ease. I felt as if I was shopping with a group of friends and we were all laughing and talking to the other brides in the salon. Danielle, my consultant, was an angel. Luckily I had a good idea of the designer and dress style I preferred and the first dress she pulled was the one. Danielle worked diligently over 2 days in order to ensure that they could order a new dress in the exact size I needed and also confirmed with the designer that I would receive it in time to perform alterations. In addition, I received 10% off as the dress was part of an upcoming trunk show which helped defray the extra cost of shipping the dress. She definitely went above and beyond to assist me and was extremely courteous and professional! I visited a variety of upscale salons in the tristate area (MD, DC, VA) and this by far was my best bridal shopping experience. Thank you, Global!

It was such a pleasure shopping for my wedding dress at Global Bridal. I had visited two other stores before my visit and they could not compare to the service and experience at Global Bridal. I brought my mother and future mother-in-law with me, and Marie was absolutely exceptional in listening to all of our thoughts/idea. She was super patient, incredibly nice, and made me feel comfortable within a few minutes, a feeling I did not have at the other stores. She also knows everything about the dresses in the store. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted and after putting me in a few dresses that were close but not perfect, she found two options that were spot-on. She really listened to me as I tried on each dress (again, something that was lacking at the other stores) and stayed within my budget. I felt so comfortable working with her and could not be more grateful for her help in finding my dress. After I decided on my dress, my mother wanted to try on a few mother-of-the-bride dresses (not planned). She bought her dress, also gorgeous, within minutes of looking after trying on only three options. I also used Global Bridal’s alteration services and had a wonderful experience with Stacy. I had 3 fittings, and at each one she was super sweet and very attentive to my concerns. By the time I walked out of the store with my dress, I couldn’t have been happier. I made an appointment with them and ended up ordering my dress that first appointment, and they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process! My fiancee's family was re-stationed while my dress was on order, so I was unable to go to the store to retrieve it. This was not an issue at all, as the wonderful staff worked with us and had it shipped to my new address. Also, my dress is absolutely STUNNING and I am so thrilled with everything. This is the place to go.

Best experience EVER!!!! Miss Marie was absolutely WONDERFUL!! All of my family and bridal party are in different states, so I had to go to my appointment by myself, but they made me feel like I was THEIR daughter!!! I couldn't have asked for a better place to find my DREAM dress!! But wait, there's more! Not only did I "find" my dream dress, they DESIGNED IT THEMSELVES WHILE IT WAS ON ME! Yes, I have the dress I have always dreamed of due to their expertise and eye for detail and listening to what I wanted so well and piecing it together for me! They new what I wanted better than I did! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM AND MY DRESS!!!

I came to Global Bridal after finding my dream dress at BHLDN, which my mother and sister hated. I had a wonderful experience with all of the women who worked at Global Bridal, including my original saleswoman who was sensitive to my time restrictions and to my mother’s conservative opinions. I was so pleased to find a dress which was ready in less than 2 months, but after shopping at BHLDN (where I could get a dress in a week and return it), I was very disappointed with the traditional wedding dress shopping generally. But Global Bridal has a huge stock, with knowledgeable saleswomen, and reasonable prices (though the in-house tailoring was pretty expensive), so if you are going to go with a traditional bridal boutique in the DC area, I would 100% advocate for coming here.

Marie was awesome! She pulled a couple of dresses and the first dress she pulled ended up being the one! I tried on a few more dresses but nothing compared to that first one. She stayed within my budget and the dress actually ended up being under budget! If you are looking for a gorgeous selection of gowns at amazing prices this is the place to go!

It baffles me why there are so many good reviews for this place. The staff was not friendly, my consultant seemed like it was her first day on the job, the dressing areas were dirty and cramped, and I couldn’t walk from the dressing room to the mirror without dodging rowdy drunken bridesmaids. I had emailed my Pinterest page, as they had requested, and got a response that said, oh we will have a lot of things you will like! When I came in, the consultant didn’t know about it, nor how to access it, and tried vainly to ask other staff about a WiFi password but then gave up when they wouldn’t even talk to her. I described what I was interested in, and then she pulled a dress that was the wrong silhouette and didn’t have any of the details I mentioned. She couldn’t really find any like I described, so I started looking myself. There were only like 12 dresses to choose from anyway! We went to our dressing area, which was not really big enough for two people to stand in, much less in a big dress. The consultant was sort of helpful, although it was clear from the condition of the dresses that I was not the first person told to “just step on it and we’ll pull it up as you go”. She was not very helpful, never making suggestions or responding to my comments. Even if I had a good consultant, I can’t inagine having a good time in this shabby place where I felt like cattle being shuffled around.

The staff at Global Bridal Gallery are very sweet and helpful. Sometimes, it was unclear where we were supposed to go for dress pick-up or fittings, and sometimes the stylists would leave the room when we needed them, or they would pass us off to a different stylist. But, once I picked my dress and worked with alterations, things were perfect. Stacy is the best! She makes you feel so special and beautiful and assures you about every detail the entire time.

I bought a shrug, faux fur wrap and and some sparkly hair accessories here. Long story short, a few days before my wedding, I did not like the wrap that I had already bought, and my Mom was stressing that my hair would look too boring without some sparkle. So, stressed out, we stopped by here. The people in the shop were amazingly kind and helpful and dealt with my stressed out Mom well. Everything I tried on, I loved, and was of beautiful quality. We were able to buy very nice items off the rack and everything looked great for the wedding. We worked primarily with Marie who was so helpful.

The team here is INCREDIBLE. I came on the recommendation of two friends who purchased their dresses here, and I didn't want to look anywhere else! Marie really listened to what I wanted and found me the perfect dress. She could tell what I wanted even when I wasn't sure yet! I've been back twice and each time I try on my dress, I don't want to take it off. The ladies who work here are fun and knowledgeable and so friendly. And the prices cannot be beaten. Go for an appointmet; you won't regret it!

Great place to get a dress! I had great service. The person that helped me, pulled out great dresses. The price was very affordable too. Alterations were on site. They were pricey, but they did a perfect job.

Marie was amazing. She listened to what look i was going for and found many dresses for me to try on. She didn't force me to try on anything and always gave me a choice. Also, she could tell i did not like a dress just my expression. That shows someone who understands their customers, even after just meeting them. I would highly recommend Global Bridal Gallery. I haven't done my first fitting yet so i don't know how that will be, but if my first experience of trying on a dress and finding the one was great then I'm sure the fittings and alteration will be great as well.

I went into Global Bridal alone, since my family lives out of state. I left feeling as though I went in with my best friend. Marie was so helpful and friendly. She gave me her honest opinion and seemed like she really just wanted me to love my dress, even if I didn't buy it with her. I found something I loved and she assured me that we could make the necessary modifications to my liking. I have not ordered the dress quite yet, but I am almost certain that I will be purchasing my wedding dress at this salon.

My experience here was amazing! I had to change my appointment to an earlier time and they were extremely accommodating. The consultants were warm and friendly from the moment I walked in. Marie was fantastic! (my dress ended up being the second dress she pulled). I can't say enough about this shop's level of professionalism and customer service. They really made my visit one to remember. I would recommend Global Bridal Gallery to anyone!

Amazing, kind and talented staff!!!! Global Bridal Gallery was my first stop and I tried on some great dresses... just didn't have that "wow" moment. I also was not too sure of what I wanted, but the sales person ( I wish I could remember her name to give her proper credit) was incredibly patient and very sweet and even allowed a couple of my gal pals go and help her select a few dresses. I walked out of there empty handed that time, but after a few more bridal boutiques, I finally had an idea in my head of what I was looking for. I knew that of all the places I had been searching for a dress, I wanted to give Global Bridal Gallery my business because they had made a very good first impression on me for their selection of dresses and amazing staff. My mom and I just happened to be back in Old Town Alexandria so I gave Global Bridal a call to see if they had any appointments available. Of course, it was one of their busiest days of the season as they were participating in a wonderful charity event for military brides, however they agreed to squeeze me in. My mom and I showed up and were led to a different area of the salon... one we had not seen before that had the most exquisite dresses. Exactly what I had been searching for!!! I fell in love with two dresses, one merely for the sparkly fabric underlay that surrounded the gown and made it glisten. The saleswoman, Serke, proposed that we combine the look and I tried on my favorite gown (a stunning Sophia Tolli) while she held the iridescent-sequined fabric under the first layer of tulle. It was perfect!!! Everything fell into place after that; Serke special ordered the fabric and a few months later, the amazing seamstresses made it my dream dress. I cannot thank the whole team, Serke, Mary-lu and Stacie enough for their professionalism and skill. They made me feel and look beautiful in my gown!!! I would definitely recommend Global Bridal Gallery-- just make sure you get a chance to explore all the options in the different sections of the salon!!!

I can't say enough amazing things about the consultant that helped me here. She was patient, attentive, never pushy, friendly...I really and truly felt like she was there to help me find the dress for my perfect day. We came back the next day to show my grandmother the dress I thought I wanted, only to have her show me a dress that fit us all into tears. She listened to what we wanted, was patient trying on tons of dresses to explore different styles, stayed an hour late so we could stare at the perfect dress, and had a huge smile the entire time. I only wish the gallery had water! Bring your own :)

I just got my wedding dress yesterday and had a fabulous experience at Global Bridal. I worked with Danielle, and she listened to what I wanted and pulled dresses for me in that style. I loved this because it meant I wasn't having to go all over the store and review every dress myself. I even asked her to pick 1 – 2 for me that weren't exactly what I had asked for but might be something she thought I looked good in, and she ended up picking the dress that I purchased! I went to lunch to think it over and then came back to purchase the dress, and she let me try it on — and keep it on — for another half hour despite not having made an additional appointment. She was amazing. Also, this should be obvious, but she stayed with me and was solely focused on me for the entirety of my appointment. I can't say the same for some of the other salons in the area. And finally, the whole staff was amazing. Everyone was super enthusiastic and welcoming even though they weren't working with me personally. When I had my "say yes to the dress" moment, everyone was genuinely enthusiastic. The customer service was excellent. If you're in the area, don't think twice and go to Global.

90% of the reviews are OLD. this place had changed obviously. I had a HORRIBLE experience on serval occasion. They are unprofessional. The store needs updating. The shop has way to many dresses it looks like a thrift store for bridal gowns. The employees had thick accents and did not comprehend what I was looking for in a dress. Do not WASTE your time. The process like someone else mentioned is just not professional.

Marie helped me find my DREAM dress!!! When I went to Global Bridal, I was on dress store #3. I had found 2 dress at another place that I was torn between. They helped me find the combination of them both!! I am not a crying type and I cried. I felt beautiful and like a princess on my wedding day. Stacy was my dress fitter and was awesome to work with! My alterations were great. I lost some weight before the wedding and they flawlessly altered my dress at my last fitting to size to fit me. I went to my pick up fitting and everything was perfect! So happy with my experience!

I got my dress at Global Bridal Gallery and had such a great experience. I just went in there, told them what I thought I was looking for, and they went and pulled all the dresses for me. This makes for a great experience for someone that a) hates shopping and b) doesn't really know the first thing about dresses (let alone wedding dresses). Everyone in there was easy to work with, fun, and you can tell they love what they do. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Would highly recommend heading to GBG to get your dress

Marie and Stacy made every visit to Global the best. :) Unlike other bridal salons, we really felt like family there. I realize that this isn't what everyone wants or needs, but it made a difference. The staff at Global really remembered us, laughed with us, and made every visit fun. Additionally, UNLIKE other bridal salons, I felt like Marie really listened to what I liked and didn't like. I had a hard time articulating it and she was fantastic about reading my reactions to the dresses and making recommendations. The store has a great selection. My bridesmaids dresses also came from Global. We picked them quickly and all of the girls really liked the dress. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The outcome was fine with all of my bridesmaids getting their dresses in time (and correct size and color) for the wedding, but the process sure was not easy. The ladies at Global Bridal were not always professional and efficient with their responses and information. From an initial appointment on December 23rd for a July 9th wedding, I thought we were way ahead of the game. The dress was selected by New Year's and we were given the information about how to submit the orders based on the bridesmaids either getting measured there or emailing measurements in with the Global form (which it took several calls and emails to actually get). Unfortunately, it was not relayed that the order would not be placed until all bridesmaids had paid in full and submitted measurements and therefore due to 1 bridesmaid waiting several weeks, the other dresses were not ordered until she submitted her order and payment. If this information was relayed before, it would not have been a problem and I would have followed up more with the one bridesmaid. We also were not aware that a plus size would be more expensive than a regular size until the day the order was placed. Throughout the manufacturing process, I was very concerned the dresses would not come in time and it was a source of stress that each time I called to check the delivery dates, I was given different information each time from someone different. I work with manufacturers who have certain lead times and I understand this is out of Global's control, but it was a little disconcerting to be given different information depending on the day and who I talked to, and often it was much longer than the lead time originally given. My bridesmaids also reported lack of professionalism when they picked up the dresses and confusion about having to make an appointment to pick up each dress even during regular business hours. I have talked to friends who have had great success with Global, but to me they seemed scattered and inconsistent with services. The dresses did come in on time thankfully and looked wonderful the day of the wedding so I do thank Global for that!

Global Bridal treats you like a princess every time you walk in the store. From the initial appointment, coming back to pick the dress, alterations, to picking the dress up I was impressed by all of the service! Everyone who works there is kind and helpful and goes above and beyond with their service.

We had nothing but great experiences every time we walked into global! While their shop is a bit small, my party was large and they put us up in their larger alterations room when I was trying on dresses and it really helped us all relax and feel comfortable. We bought my dress and when it was time for alterations, they were very helpful and knowledgable about what was best for my dress and it turned out gorgeous! Marie is the best and she made sure we were happy every time we walked out of the store. I highly recommend them!

I shopped for my veil here after already purchasing my dress elsewhere. My mother and I had a great experience. The saleswoman who helped us was patient, offered us several styles that she felt complemented my dress and were what I was looking for, and didn't push anything expensive on us. Even though we didn't buy the dress there, she was nothing but accommodating and polite. I think we got a good deal and because they had one in stock, I was able to take it with me that day. They had a pretty wide selection in veils, and a huge selection in dresses from what I saw.

I had a great experience finding a dress here. Serki did an amazing job actually listening to what I wanted in a dress, looking at photos and then finding dresses that met what I was looking for. They have a great selection and Serki gave me all the time I needed to try on many combinations of dresses, separates, belts, and veils. Even when I needed to go over my appointment they let me keep trying on different combinations and never once made me feel hurried or bad for taking so long. The dresses are beautiful and very fairly priced, easily better priced than anywhere else I went in Alexandria. They were truly a class act here, and had excellent selections of jewelry, veils, and more. I would high,y recommend any bride set up an appointment here before looking or deciding anywhere else.

I contacted Global Bridal Gallery after a recommendation from a friend. I had purchased a designer gown in another state and had not tried it on again until 10 months later (and 1 month before my wedding). They worked with me to schedule a fitting and alterations on short notice. They did seem a little confused when I showed up for appointments. They even once could not find my dress when I returned (one week later) for a final fitting. It turned out the dress was not yet finished and I needed to return later that day. Overall, they did a decent job for what I requested.
