NO IPOD COULD DO WHAT GOBO DID!!! We used GOBO on 10.11.14 for our wedding. We had meetings with about 10 DJ companies and none of them seemed to clasp what we were looking for. We needed a Bilingual DJ who can play R&B, Hip Hop, Top 40, Pop, Latino and Country. GOBO was the only vendor we picked based on a phone call! I spoke to Jim and we had a genuine conversation about what I needed and he came out and said I have just the person you're looking for! Something just told me that this company was the one for me! He is just the greatest guys to be the main contact. Jim was quick at responding to any email/phone call when I made them and he listened to what I needed in a DJ. He paired us up with Luis and I couldn't see our wedding without him in it. DJ Luis is the type of person who has a true talent for DJing and can accommodate every crowd. He is honestly blessed with a talent to entertain people. His music genre is amazing I don't remember a time that the dance floor didn't have someone dancing on it. Which is what we wanted. When speaking to Luis over the phone/at the wedding it was like talking to an old friend that I haven't seen in years. I've learned that you should feel comfortable with that the person who is leading the charge for your reception and I would trust Luis and GOBO for any event that we have in the future. Even our day of coordinator said that Luis has been the best DJ she has seen at a wedding in a while. keep up the great work guys!!

The night before my wedding, I recieved a phone call from a man telling me my original DJ had a family emergency and that he would be filling in. He spent an hour on the phone with me getting an idea of what I wanted and went over the wedding timeline with me so we were both on the same page. He was very friendly and did his best to make me feel at ease for the sudden change. On the day of the wedding he was wearing a button down and slacks, was very funny, played the perfect music, and checked with me periodically to make sure everything was going the way I wanted. He did a fantastic job!

Mark from Gobo was our DJ. He took the time to have a meeting with us in the beginning and kind of figure out our personalities. He was always available to ask questions. We were able to pick music we wanted and the music we didn't. The greatest part about him was how well he read the crowd at our reception! He played the few songs that we put on our must play list but the rest of the night was all him! Kids and adults both were dancing the night away. We had a few last minute (day of) changes to our reception and he handled them beautifully.

Mark from Gobo entertainment was our DJ and he did a great job! We picked a lot of specific songs to be played during dinner and dancing and he came through with all of our favorites. He was also very good about keeping in contact with us leading up to the big day and provided our ceremony music which went perfectly! Throughout the evening he was a good judge of how the party was flowing and picked up the pace when it was necessary to keep everyone having a great time! I'm really glad we chose Gobo entertainment for our wedding! Thanks Mark!

We had Marcellus and he was a BLAST! He really listened to our concerns and what we wanted and did an excellent job. He kept the crowd pumped up and everyone had a great time. He also customized the up-lighting to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend him!

DJ Julez made our reception so much fun! We had a blast dancing and she played great music. She was very responsive and played everything we had asked, and then trusted her with the rest. She was a lot of fun and really got the crowd going. The wedding was so much fun and I danced a lot that night, all because of her!!

We hired a DJ from this company and he was great. He worked with me, even though I was very particular about the song choices. I liked the worksheet that they have online but sometimes the website was not working very well. Overall, great choice for the money.

I really don't remember anything that this dj did at my daughter's wedding. The music was too low and the groom had to tell him what to play because he wasn't playing the music on the list that the bride and groom provided to him. The coordinator was unable to get him to announce the bride and groom and after much hesitation he finally agreed to let her do it herself. This dj was a preferred vendor of the venue that my daughter used and just like the venue they were extremely difficult to work with. It could have been due to the restrictions from the venue but I believe that if you're a person of integrity you won't let anyone interfere with your business. With that said, I wasn't pleased with this dj at all and I wouldn't recommend this dj or this company to anyone due to this. My daughter and her husband weren't pleased either!

We had DJ Mark from GOBO entertainment for our wedding at Laguna Gloria on Sept 30, 2011. He was the best wedding DJ ever, he went above and beyond just being a DJ. The planning website GOBO was excellent for choosing music and setting the timeline for the wedding. DJ Mark showed up with the wedding timeline in his hands and ran the entire reception from beginning to end. He was so easy to work and all the ladies thought he looked handsome too :) He did an awesome job announcing the bridal party for our entrance, very young and fun! He was even cracking a couple jokes while we were all goofing off on the dance floor. He always had an eye on me to see if I was happy, ready to cut the cake (and he even showed us how to cut our cake properly without it tumbling) or ready for dance music versus quiet music. During the first dance and father daughter, mother son dances, he kept an eye on me to see when I was ready to quiet the music to move on to the next dance, I hadnt really thought about it before but those dances can feel really long and usually you dont dance the whole song unless you want to, but instead of cutting it off when he felt like it, he watched me to see when I gave a nod to cut it which was perfect. Ive heard of people getting their dance cut short when they werent ready for it. I cannot rave enough about him, he made the entire wedding flow perfectly and on time without feeling any pressure to do something quicker. GOBOs contact person, Betty, was also so friendly, easy to get ahold of and easy to work with and kept up with all the plans leading up to the wedding. I highly recommend GOBO and DJ Mark!!!

I was really excited for this DJ until the wedding. It seems that the 3 hour interview/meeting session that we had with our DJ was more of a waste of time. It seems like our requests were not honored at all. He was very sarcastic- even during the toasts and often started something (cake cutting) and walked away. It was very awkward at times, because of our DJ. I also didn't care for his smoking behind the booth during our reception. You could see a cloud of smoke on the stage and I thought it was very unprofessional! I do not recommend this DJ

I got a DJ from Gobo entertainment. I will start by saying that I was very happy with the DJ during the wedding. The only issue I have is that I didn't get to talk to my DJ until two weeks before the wedding. I was trying to finish up last minute things and had to remember to get the music all figured out. I would have liked to get the DJ stuff done ahead of time when I had more time on my hands. But, in the end he was a good DJ and everybody had a great time dancing to the music he played.

We had Mark, the company' s owner as our dj and he was FANTASTIC! He respected our song selection and was present to provide a microphone for some singing from our guests. GOBO also provided our up-lighting and their website set up a timeline for song selection. Hands down, we couldn't have asked for a better dj for our wedding.

Chris Harvey was our DJ and did a great job with the music we selected. Gobo Entertainment provided a photo booth also, which added more fun to our wedding day and made it unique. I highly recommend this company, they work with you and cater to the music YOU want to be heard and offer guests to select music as well!
