The Tribute is an unmatched location. Situated by Lake Lewisville on a stunning golf course and with a gorgeous clubhouse, no extra decorating needed, you are instantly transported to a beautiful and romantic setting. The food is seriously AMAZING, the chef is incredible and they have a garden on-site for herbs/greenery. Their quality is unbeatable in any context, but many of our guests said it was the best wedding meal they've ever had.
Definitely consider adding on the top floor for your cocktail hour for amazing views of the lake, and the pub for all your guests who are not able to join the dancing!
The best part though is definitely The Tribute Team, Kadee and Lauren really were major players in putting together this unforgettable reception for us and responsive every step of the way. We are so grateful to them for all their efforts in putting together our special day.

We picked The Tribute the day we took our tour. The venue was beautiful, the catering was provided by the venue, and it was in our price range. We had a fairly small wedding (around 50 guests) and they were very easy to work with on making the venue still feel full. My only issue with the venue was the responsiveness before the wedding. It could be difficult to get in touch with them when calling to ask questions. The day of went very smoothly. Kimberly and Mary Beth did an AMAZING job of making everything run seamlessly and helped keep issues from arising. I am confident there would have been something that went wrong if it weren't for them. All in all, we had an amazing wedding, and could not be happier with the venue.
Any questions?

My husband and I got married at the Old American Golf Club and we had a great experience. The event director, Kimberly, was helpful from the start and very detailed.
The food was also delicious!

Our wedding at The Tribute was an absolute dream! From our first tour and all the way through to our wedding day, everything was top notch and we couldn't imagine a more perfect day! Kimberly was so helpful, organized, and professional--it was such a pleasure to work with her and Lauren! And when covid-19 threw a wrench in our plans, The Tribute was EXTREMELY flexible and accommodating. Everything at The Tribute was amazing- the planning, day of coordination, food, grounds... I can't recommend The Tribute enough!!

Where do I begin... BEST DECISION EVER!!! When we started looking for venues and found The Tribute it honestly was on the bottom of the list but decided we would check it out anyway. Even though it was at the bottom of our list, it was the first one we went to tour. Well to our surprise, we fell in love with it! The pictures did not do it justice online at the time that we were looking. Since it was the first venue we looked at we still went and toured five more venues but we couldn't stop thinking about this one.
Kimberly took us on the tour and we loved everything about the venue. We loved that we could do the ceremony outdoors, cocktail hour on the patio roof and the reception on the first floor. Once we booked we then started working with Lauren, yall Lauren was AMAZING! She answered any questions we had along the way and was super helpful with everything.
The day before my wedding I got a phone call from Lauren with news that a pipe burst and it had flooded some of the first floor and they had to dig a pretty big hole at the entrance of the venue. Obviously that's the last thing you want to hear a couple hours before rehearsal and hours before the wedding. But luckily Lauren and her team did a great job to make it all work out for the day of the wedding and did a perfect job on compensating for the issue.
Honestly I cant thank them enough for everything they did for us and for making our special day so memorable! Totally recommend them to anyone and everyone! They are the best!! You wont regret it!!

Choosing to use the Tribute as our wedding and reception venue was one of the best decisions my wife and I made. They made everything so easy and for a fantastic price! The coordinator Lauren answered every single question I had, and made sure we had everything we needed for our big day. Catering was through them as well which made food ordering a breeze and it was so good! I wish we could have taken some of the appetizers home with us! Very happy with the fantastic staff and the gorgeous venue for helping make our wedding absolutely perfect.

We had our dream wedding day at The Tribute. Our wedding was outside at the gazebo, our cocktail hour was on the rooftop and our reception was in the ballroom and each was absolutely perfect. The Tribute staff was stellar on our wedding day: serving a delicious meal, serving specialty beverages to our guess, helping to make sure the event ran smoothly, and setting up the venue how we had envisioned. The event staff was great to work with and incredible throughout the entire planning process answering all of our questions and getting creative with us to bring our wedding to life. The Tribute knows what they are doing when it comes to weddings!
We also had our rehearsal dinner here which was equally as spectacular thanks to this awesome venue.

We held our wedding at The Tribute Golf Links on December 16, 2017. I can't say enough good things about Lauren and Kimberly, the event staff they currently have . Lauren took so much stress off of me the day of and really heard me when i told her what i wanted. She totally got my vision. We were supposed to get married on the terrace, but due to rain had to move it inside. It ended up being better than i even planned. The only downside i see to the venue is where the bar is now located, guests spent most of their time in the pub/bar area instead of in the banquet hall where the activites were going on. I liked it better when the bar was off the banquet hall, but i understand why they did it. This is a wonderful venue and the price is great. They also provide a lot for the wedding if you want it.

The Tribute was the perfect place for our wedding. We had the ceremony on the terrace overlooking Lake Lewisville- and the pictures are gorgeous- We had the cocktail hour in the bar and reception in the ballroom. One great advantage is the ready suites- we had the rooms all day with all day service and direction. We can’t praise the staff enough, especially Chelsea. I will admit I was a little OCD and organized so I was a little nervous. She took every single detail planned for our event and executed it perfectly. She coordinated the vendors, timing, décor lists…. literally everything. During the day, we felt so at ease and us along my bridal party engaged with the staff and shared the day with them. They celebrated with us! During the reception, we had one server who took care of us all night and Chelsea moved the schedule along perfectly. Perfect wedding at a wonderful venue.

Me and my husband went to their bridal show/fair and met the staff and Katie, the director. She was so pleasant and we loved the venue. We were put into a raffle to receive the reception and ceremony space at no cost, AND WE WON! We decided to get married here because of the scenery, staff, and cost effective food pricing. We sat with Katie multiple times through out the year and a half to plan out details and food. She truly made the whole process a smooth one and she assured me that everything will be great! She was fast in answering emails and questions I had, and even following up on details we had discussed but not finalized. She wrote down everything! The big day came. I stayed in the suite the whole day up until I had to take photos and go up to the terrace for the ceremony. Everything looked beautiful! I brought decorations the day before and they placed everything just as we discussed. Katie made sure she knew where each item went, she put sticky notes on each item, she is very organized! They made the day go smoothly although it felt hectic, I think every wedding runs that way. She had a calm demeanor and communicated very well any changes or special situations. I felt like I can talk with her and never ask a dumb question, she was very reassuring and truly made me feel like I can leave everything in her hands so that I may relax and not worry about anything on the big day. The staff were pleasant and sweet. The bartender sat down with us and we had four signature drinks that everyone loved! There were some downfalls but overall, I cant imagine having my wedding in any other place! Everything looked beautiful! One more thing, the photographer gave out on us the day before the wedding, Katie had a photographer lined up if we could not get something sorted by the next morning. She had our back! Although we did not use the one she had in line, her thought was so appreciated! There was another staff member named Katie who was going to be Coordinator of the day for the wedding, but she got fired the day before the wedding (not sure why). She had attended a few of the last sit downs when we were finalizing everything. But Katie, the director, assured me that everything was going to be okay! Katie was there during rehearsal and the day of to assure everything ran smoothly. There was another staff member that was put to be Coordinator of the day (Chelsea), she was nice but there was a confusion as to what our package entailed and having drinks in the suites, she was put into the position last minute so I was very understanding in the circumstance she was put into, I was just glad Katie was there since she was my main contact through out the whole planning. BUT IT WAS AN ABSOLUTELY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AND I RECOMMEND THE TRIBUTE TO ANYONE WHO IS SEARCHING FOR A VENUE! Thank you Katie you were phenomenal and I will never forget everything you did for us to make the day so unforgettable. THANK YOU!!!!

The Tribute is beyond amazing!!! The second my husband and I drove up we knew this was the venue for our wedding! Katie, the event coordinator, is very kind, professional, and made our perfect wedding come true. Over the year of wedding planning, Katie kept in contact and was available to talk whenever we had a question or concern. Amanda, the day of coordinator, did a superb job! I nor anyone in my family/friends had to do a single thing the day of the wedding; everything was set up by Amanda and The Tribute personnel and looked amazing! Nothing went wrong the entire day due to her hard work and diligence of making everything perfect. We were so blessed to have an amazing team from The Tribute for our wedding day! Besides the wonderful personnel, nothing can beat the view from the third floor terrace. We were married overlooking the golf course and you can see Lake Lewisville in the distance. This scenery was decoration enough for the ceremony and provided the best backdrop for the wedding. The reception space is just as gorgeous with pretty drapes and lighting that added the perfect touch. The huge windows with a view of the golf course also made the space feel very open and kept the gorgeous view. Another amazing factor of The Tribute was the food. We were invited to a tasting where you get to try many different foods offered from their in house catering and everything tasted wonderful. I was told numerous times how phenomenal the food tasted at the wedding and they even made my husband and I our own plates and had drinks waiting for us at our sweetheart table. This venue was the most affordable out of the venues we looked at and offered the most perks of hosting a wedding there. The Tribute has available rooms for guests to stay in (which we utilized for family and out of town guests) and a honeymoon suite included! We will never be able to express enough gratitude towards the Tribute and everyone that made our wedding day beyond amazing!!!!!!

Absolutely Perfect!! Look no further!! We had our wedding on 12/12/15. We actually used the rooms on the second floor, and stayed Friday - Sunday with the rehearsal on Friday, wedding on Saturday, and golf/brunch on Sunday. Kristin (manager) was more than we could have ever imagined leading up to our wedding. She was helpful and available for everything we asked. Amanda (day of coordinator) was incredible! She made sure that our wedding day was flawless. The food was excellent, all of our guests raved about the food. Their packages include everything, and we didn't need anything when we got to our wedding day. THANK YOU Kristin, Amanda, and The Tribute for a perfect wedding day!

The Tribute was the perfect place for our wedding! The staff I worked with, and special thanks to Kristin and Amanda, were so amazing, making everything for our day work out and turn out so beautiful. We had terrible weather that day and had to move our ceremony inside. The Day of Coordinator, Amanda, was an angel! She checked on me throughout the day and made sure everything was decorated and placed perfectly and beautifully. I could not have asked for a better person to help ease my nerves throughout the day and execute all the wedding details downstairs, while I was upstairs, being asked not to worry about a thing! The food was delicious and we received compliments about it, too. I 100% recommend The Tribute!

We planned our wedding remotely, since we live out of state now. We didn't get to see the venue before we put the deposit down, and we were so pleasantly surprised when we finally got to see it! It's beautiful. The grounds are great, the accommodations were lovely, the food was excellent and the staff was super helpful! The planning process was easy, even though I had some odd requests. Katie and Kristin went out of their way to make sure everything was how we wanted it, right down to finding me some chairs I didn't think I could get. Amanda was a lifesaver the day of the wedding. I would not have made it through the day without her. We got a lot of compliments on the delicious food. My only regret was the tight bodice on my dress that didn't let me finish my dinner. We were even able to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free requests. We loved the venue so much we even want to have a post-wedding photo shoot there since we didn't have enough time to get all the pictures we wanted before we ran out of daylight. I can't say enough good things. 5/5 would recommend!

We could not have been happier with our ceremony and reception at The Tribute! We had the ceremony at the gazebo with a cool breeze and the sun setting in the west (it is all in the shade by evening!) The reception was beautiful with the sparkle lights and the up lighting complemented the wonderful food and attentive staff. We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was and how they felt so welcome and comfortable the entire evening. Kristin, Amanda and Katie will work with you until everything is just what you envision, no matter how many meetings and phone calls! They are all wonderful! The guest suites available at the venue for the family and bridal party are absolutely gorgeous and our family loved it! Perfect wedding memories! Mother of the bride, Cathy

The Tribute did an outstanding job with our wedding. Sonja and Alona are angels and a pleasure to work with. I hired a wedding planner and later regretted wasting the money because Sonja was more on top of everything than she was. The food was delicious, the transitions throughout the night were flawless, and everything was gorgeous. Our guests are still talking about it! We would choose The Tribute again in a heartbeat.

I have to say I was a little nervous about a venue, as I initially wanted my daughter to have a small church wedding. She assured me that this would be the ONLY time she was getting married and she was going to have a memorable one...that it was.
Shannon Drake was our coordinator. She was professional, yet personal. She knew her stuff, and knew exactly how to "calm me down as a nervous mother of the bride" and assurred me everything was going to be okay. She gave us a checklist of everything we needed to do, which was a big help, as I was not sure what the price of the venue included.
The day of the wedding I was so nervous, and Sonja was our "person of contact" for the wedding, again assuring me she was good at her job, and to leave it in her hands. Once I did that, OMG was she amazing. From the guests coordination to the ballroom setup (which was perfect), to Jim Weiz DJ music and uplighting, to Mike Lewis photographer, to Delicious Cakes ... the vendor referral was amazing as well.
As a mother of the bride, I was already emotional. My baby was getting married...since I did not have to worry about anything, it was so smooth, so beautiful ... the wedding was supposed to be outside, but due to the weather, they turned that ballroom into a beautiful place to get married.
I will truly recommend "The Tribute" to everyone that wants a recommendation, as it was the BEST wedding "celebration" I have ever been too. Thanks again Tribute Staff!!

I first found the Tribute at a bridal show and was able to come to their open house. The location is stunning and our favorite part was we didn’t feel like we were still in the city. The view of the lake and the course was so beautiful. Our photographer who we found from their vendor list knew some beautiful spots for our photos. I was even able to use their location at no extra cost for my bridals. The staff was amazing and not only did we have everything we wanted but we did it on budget too. Shannon who is the main person was always there to answer our questions and helped with ideas for décor, menu and timing. When we first started planning I was extremely nervous because I have never done anything like this. She made it so easy. The coordinator who was there on my wedding day was amazing too. The food was fantastic and my family still says I did a good job at finding the location. I highly recommend checking out the Tribute.

Our wedding was in March however I wanted to share our experience with everyone so you can truly understand what this venue is all about! My wife and I were victims of fraud form another venue. They took our money and ran off leaving us 6 month before the wedding with no money and no where to have a wedding. As many of you know, finding a date that is available 6 months from the actual wedding date is nearly impossible. Shannon reached out to us with an open mind and a HUGE heart. Our budget was very tight due to our circumstances however they were so accommodating it really hard for me to explain in words. The event went without a hitch. There was never a moment from when we booked the event to when we were waking up in the MASTER suite after the wedding where I did not feel like that was the best decision we made by choosing The Tribute. Our food was so good (I have been to weddings where that is certainly not the case), our pictures were amazing and the staff was unbelievable. If I had to get married again, which obviously I won't, I would do it with The Tribute. The only thing I wish I would have done different is take the left over food home with us :) It rained the day of our event and we had to make a choice of where to have the wedding. The room transition from the wedding to the reception was seamless and the director has no problem laying down who and what is going to happen. She was great at keeping everything on schedule. Basically what I want to relay to everyone is that This Venue Is AMAZING and you will not be disappointed with your decision to have one of the most memorable days of your life here with them.

Having just moved, we had a small budget and my first meeting with Shannon I was relieved to find out that she would work with us. I stayed in contact with Ashley and we had a final details meeting a few weeks before hand. Then it was our wedding day and as I’m rushing to get in my dress I find out our guest table hasn’t been set out and as my dad is walking me out, I find out that the ceremony was not in the right spot. So in my wedding photos, I have a pole right behind us instead of just the beautiful scenery. I had read reviews saying that they had a wedding coordinator that made the day go by flawless, but that did not happen. After the bartender called in sick, Sergio had to take over that job along with serving appetizers, drinks, dinner and being the coordinator. I commend Sergio for multitasking greatly, but I would have thought that if the bartender called in sick, maybe the other coordinator should have been called in. Also, nothing against Sergio, but if he was supposed to be the official coordinator, I wish he would have spoken to me more than two times. The only times he talked to me was when I said thank you to him and when he asked if I wanted more water.
Our fantastic photographer Mike Lewis did his best to direct us and keep us on track, which was not a part of his job description but I thank him so much for that. Guests had to wait to order drinks at the bar, not everyone received the signature drink when it was handed out, and the A/C wasn't working well.
So after our family photos, we wing the whole introduction of the bride and groom, the dancing and basically didn’t stick to anything we had planned out because I wasn’t aware that I needed the timeline and a watch to keep on track. I am a easy going girl but when I have a very small wedding consisting of loved ones who took the time to fly out, it was embarrassing that most of the time it looked so unorganized because we didn't know what we were doing. Then one of the last things of the night was supposed to be us riding off on a golf cart as our exit but no one told us that it was waiting out front.
After the wedding both my husband and I felt that because we got such a great deal on the wedding that we were kind of the bottom of the barrel. That maybe if we would have paid for something more luxurious that perhaps we would have been treated better. I had contacted Shannon afterwards and we discussed everything that went wrong and I felt bad because here I was telling her my side of the story and she had her employees telling their side which differed. No one working there would give us the phone number of Shannon or Ashley during the wedding/reception. We were not able to contact them and voice our concerns at the time. Anyways, Sharron explained to me that our officiant moved the ceremony, which was not the case because he is one of our best friends and with my husband the entire time. The email correspondence just left me feeling as if they wanted to avoid taking any blame and that they would discuss it in length so they could improve. That’s great for future couples that want to marry there, but it would have been nice if more had been done for us. If I would have known how the day would have gone, I would have just eloped. In all honesty, if there would have only been a coordinator there who was guiding us, then I would have given a far better review.
At least got some really good photos out of this. The landscape and sunset there is beautiful.

From date one of my planning, the employees there were very Professional. During my planning Ms. Shannon Drake made me feel as a friend instead of a person just during business with them. Ashley, which handled the event details listened to my needs and made suggestions, which I appreciated, cause there were details I missed or needed. On our Wedding day we were assigned our own personal consultant who made sure everything was on Point. (Ms. Sonya was Awesome and Very Professional) Thank you Ladies for making our Wedding a success. The Tribute guest rooms were great, which we booked all of them and our guest loved everything under one roof.

I got married on Oct. 12 (on a Friday night) and I really enjoyed my experience working with the staff at the Tribute! I got most of my planning done early but if I had any questions at anytime I always received a prompt response! I had quite a few requests (dietary needs for me) that they bent over backwards to accommodate. I also had DIY decorations that they generously used (per my request) to decorate the outside and inside reception tables for me! They were always making sure that myself, my soon to by husband (at that time) and everyone helping me get ready had everything we needed and made sure we were very well taken care of! Sonja, the Wedding Coordinator, Shannon Drake, the Director of Private Events and Catering and Ashley Walling, the Private Event Sales Manager were phenomenal. They take the "worry and stress" out of planning a wedding :) There was one minor glitch we ran into but Shannon graciously accommodated us and our needs!!! I would definitely recommend anyone getting married to choose The Tribute as your venue location :)
I received high praise from our guests about the venue, staff and food!!! :)
Thank you ALL for making our day SO special and a day/night to remember!

I got married here on September 6 and it was the most "Magical Night" of my life. I married my bestfriend and planned my wedding in 3 weeks. The staff was especially willing and eager to meet my every needs. Sonja, the Wedding Coordinator, and Shannon Drake, the Director of Private Events and Catering was phenominal. They took the fuss and any stress I could of had out of the equation. I highly recommend you call them today, if you are looking for a team of dedicated people who are about making your day the very "BEST". Shannon works with all your food request and even can accommodate your budget needs. Tell them April Zellner sent you....and I am sure you will receive "ROYAL" treatment like I recieved.

I had my May 2012 wedding at The Tribute. They had my date on the calendar a year in advance. Throughout the course of that year, I had FIVE different consultants working with me. Everytime I got settled with one, she would quit working at The Tribute and they would put me with someone else. FIVE different times I had to explain my wedding day vision. It was extremely frustrating but I tried to be a good sport. I was told even just TWO days before my wedding that there were NO other weddings on my day. When I arrived at the Tribute the morning of my wedding to begin getting ready, I was shocked to walk into the doors and find a WEDDING RECEPTION taking place!! So that I wouldn't ruin someone else's day, I had all my bridesmaids and family enter through the Pro Shop. That was ridiculous! I didn't see a single coordinator until 3PM that day. To her defense, she was new (of course) but very sweet and genuinely tried to help me throughout the rest of my wedding day. Overall, I was very displeased with The Tribute. I had high hopes because of great reviews I had seen but working with them was an absolute nightmare. I was also told my stuff would be gathered and put in a room for my parents to pick up the morning after my wedding. That didn't happen and they lost my wedding champagne flutes. Very saddening. At this point, and until they can figure out their wedding coordinator issue, I would NOT recommend The Tribute.

Our wedding was beautiful but if I had not had a wedding
coordinator the wedding day would have been a nightmare.
The individuals at The Tribute were unorganized and ineffective.
The location is looking worn. It needs to be painted on the inside, the wood molding is scratched, the small hotel they have on site the beds, pillows and sheets are uncomfortable. The hot water was spotty. Just would encourage a bride to think twice before booking an event at this location.

I would recommend The Tribute Golf Club to anyone planning a special event. My wedding day was nothing less than fantastic. April, Heather, and the rest of the team made the entire day go super smoothly, being at everyone's aide whenever they were needed. Even before the rehearsal, while we were putting together centerpieces, Heather was in and out of the room getting us anything needed.
The food was AMAZING! From the catering tastings, my husband and I were a bit skeptical about the food. The day of, there were people going back for seconds and thirds. We even ate the to-go plates they had made up for us (I'm definitely not a leftovers eater)!
Everything April and I had discussed in previous meetings was set up exactly how I had imagined.
During photos, Heather came out with shots for our entire wedding party, any time my drink was empty, another one was brought to be right away, I had food in front of me before I even knew I was hungry. I mean, these people are really good. I've never felt so pampered and special.
Basically what I'm trying to say is, if you want the least stress possible, and the best day imaginable, CHOOSE THE TRIBUTE!!! I would recommend The Tribute, April, Heather, and their team hands down to anyone that can fit them into their budget!!

Most lovely venue we saw, especially for the price. Many issues with the staff though including miscommunication from them which affected our guest list. They didn't always respond when they said they would and it was stressful to not know when I'd receive communication. Also they considered booking a second wedding during the time they told me I could have the room. They didn't in the end, but it was still a frustrating experience & communication.

Our wedding at The Tribute was absolutely beautiful! They took great care of us and communicated well throughout the whole process. I will say that there were some small details that were overlooked, but nothing that was of major importance. The food was great and they had a large variety of choices. They take good care of their grounds and my bridal pictures were gorgeous there, however they do overlook some of the small details in care of their building as well. Again, nothing that is of any major consequence, but you will notice if you look closely or are detail-oriented. That's the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. To me, I'm a huge detail person and while I noticed these things, it didn't outweigh the whole experience.
Samantha was our coordinator and she is super sweet and took care of everything very efficiently. She was very patient with all our questions and made as many appointments and phone calls as we needed! They worked with us and our budget, and the have a $5000 food minimum which is a little less than other venues in the area, which was a big plus for us.
Being able to stay in the bridal suite that evening and the breakfast the next morning was perfect...it was so romantic and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! I would recommend to any bride!

Let me tell you about our experience with The Tribute…
My fiancé, Jason, and I are getting married on 11/11/11. We booked the venue on 1/11/11 and were beyond ecstatic; we fell in love with the venue. We were planning an outdoor sunset ceremony, at the gazebo, with the reception to follow in the ballroom. We were told by Paula, the NEW Catering Sales Director, that we’d have “the run of the place” while we were walking around the venue, and standing in the upstairs and outdoor terrace. It was NEVER mentioned that there was a possibility that multiple events/weddings would be taking place that day-let alone the same TIME.
Fast forward to this Saturday, August 6th, 2011. We (me, Jason, my mom and dad) had a meeting with Bethany, our event coordinator to discuss some final details. Towards the end of the meeting, while trying to nail down a ceremony start time, Bethany very casually mentions that there is another small wedding booked for that day-so she goes to check what time their ceremony is. She tells us that the wedding is to be held downstairs in the basement, 40-50 people. She even suggests we consider their ceremony start time-while trying to choose OUR ceremony start time. I think we were all in shock-none of us had time to pose the questions that would come up later…we left very shocked and upset.
Sunday morning I call my mom in a panic because a million questions were going through my mind. She and I decide to put in a call to the General Manager, to voice our concerns and set up a meeting. We both also leave messages with Paula. My mom and I both hear back from Bill, the new GM, Monday morning. Bill tells my mom that the other wedding ceremony is actually planned for the terrace-which has a direct view of the gazebo where we were planning to get married. Bill did not tell me this…I hear it from my mom. We arrange to meet with Bill and Bethany at The Tribute at 6pm Monday night. When we arrive the story changes even more. The other wedding dinner is planned out on the terrace-while our wedding ceremony goes on down below. We would have a view of each other’s weddings. Jason and I would be able to turn towards each other at the gazebo, during the ceremony, and see out of our peripheral vision, a wedding going on above us. Our officiate would have a direct view. We would share a parking lot, and main hallway (where our engagement photos/sign in book/decorations/popcorn bar/gifts etc would be displayed), staircase, bathroom, and outdoor view---at the same time. Bill even tells us that if he could go back and do it over, he wouldn’t have overlapped them-which suggests he knows they are in the wrong here. But even after admitting fault Bill says he can’t refund the deposit! After a lot of back and forth, my mom asks if he would at least give back half-Bill agrees to give back half. He then says that if/when they book the venue again for 11/11/11 we will be refunded the remaining balance. His argument is that he needs to find someone to make up that $7,000 minimum or they’ll be at a loss. Pardon me, but you’re putting US in a pinch here-we have 3 months to book a venue. You’re putting US at a loss if you don’t give us back the full deposit to take to another venue.
On a side note, Paula, the Catering Sales Director (who was new back in January), no longer works there-as of that morning-for reasons unrelated to our wedding. Bill, the GM, has only been working at The Tribute for 5 weeks.

We got married a week and a half ago and I just can't stop thinking about how perfect our wedding was at The Tribute. Bethany, the coordinator, was fabulous! Our ceremony was outdoor at the pavilion, it turned out great it was very windy that day but because of the way the trees grow around the area, there was no wind to mess anything up! Our reception was indoor in the ballroom, the food was amazing, we did the Italian buffet! The flow of the whole wedding went so smooth and our wedding was perfect! I would recommend The Tribute to everyone I know! It's an all-inclusive package, can't go wrong!

My mother and I arrived at 4:20 for our 4:30 appointment. 5 minutes later another party walks in stating they are there for their 4:00 appointment. When Paula, the woman we had our appointment with came from her prior appointment, she addressed the late party, then my mother and I, and stated she would take the late party on a "quick" tour.
It was unprofessional to take the party that was 25 mins late to their appointment when we arrived 10 mins early, prompt and ready for our 4:30 appointment. We drove an hour and ten minutes to see the venue. We waited, but the more we discussed it, we determined that with such a sour taste in our mouth that we would feel uncomfortable investing our money in an establishment that treats customers in such a way. So we left at 4:50, without seeing the venue at all. After this experience we decided to take our business to Ashton Gardens, where at the very least we were treated with professionalism and they valued our time.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at the Tribute. Bethany, the wedding coordinator made me feel so calm about all the planning. She absolutely knows what she's doing and it was so obvious. On the day of my wedding, I literally just showed up and did what I was told. I didn't worry one bit about any details. After being in multiple "do it yourself" weddings, I knew I didn't want that for my own wedding. The Tribute bent over backwards to make sure my day went just as my husband and I wanted it to.

I LOVED everything about The Tribute!! The staff was incredibly easy to work with. They did everything to accommodate me, my husband and our family and friends. We had our ceremony outside at the gazebo and the reception in the ballroom and everything was PERFECT. They gladly worked with us and our budget to get the most for our money, which really meant a lot to us. They have great prices and beautiful rooms to stay in also. The landscaping is unmatched! After the wedding was all over, my husband and I got to the honeymoon suite to find champagne, choc covered strawberries and a sweet hand written note from our wedding planner!! (BTW, the wedding planner comes with the package, which was a HUGE plus for us!!)

Everything went wonderfully. The only issue was one of the bathrooms in a guest room wasn't working properly, and theydidnt get moved to another vacant room. We are still trying to work this one out, but everything else was fantastic! Super easy!

I was very happy to have my wedding ceremony/reception at this location!! They were very helpful through the whole process. I was an out of town bride and only made two trips to organize things with them and everything went so smoothly! I did not have a thing to worry about the day of my wedding! They worked very hard to make my day perfect and it happened even better than I expected. I highly recommend this vendor to anyone who is looking for an outdoor wedding near a gazebo. They give you the option to make in indoor incase of bad weather. The food is amazing! The place for your wedding party to get ready is just perfect! Plus your guests can have a good time that night and stay in one of the many rooms they have available upstairs. The staff is very flexible with your needs and will help you to make sure everything happens the way you want it. The coordinator there is also sort of a wedding planner and will help you at rehearsal and on your wedding day. What I loved the most was that I really didnt have time to clean up our room where all the girls got ready, which was also the honeymoon sweet, nor did I have time to enjoy a piece of my cake and the staff cleaned up the room, put candles everywhere and left us wine and big pieces of each of our cakes to eat once we got to our room!! I loved the golf cart exit and they let your wedding party do whatever you want to decorate it up! I really hope any bride will consider this place!! Only downfall was that if you are not familiar with the area, it can be hard to find the first time! And putting the address into the GPS does not work! If you search for the tribute golf course in places on your GPS and find it, that works! Good luck on finding the perfect venue! I found mine!
