Born and raised in southeast Connecticut, owner Grace has worked in New York, Boston, and Southern California During this time, she honed her design and project management skills and returned to her home state to start Good Graces Events. She brings the elements of her travels to each event she organizes, blending New York's contemporary design, California's diverse style, and Connecticut's welcoming charm.
Good Graces Events is happy to work with soon-to-be-weds throughout the New England area. They will customize your service to provide the assistance you need, whether you prefer full-service planning, partial planning, or day-of coordination. Budget analysis, design, and RSVP tracking are some of the many services they offer. In addition to the big day, the team can organize pre- and post-nuptial events, from your engagement party to your honeymoon.

Grace is the absolute best. Don't even waste your time speaking with other planners, just hire Grace. We were planning a wedding at Candlelight Farms in New Milford, CT and debated if we needed help for the day of. We finally decided it would be worthwhile. Grace was the second person we spoke with and we immediately knew she was the one. While we hired her as a day of coordinator she was SO much more involved than we ever expected. We had many planning sessions with Grace before our wedding and while we were fairly on top of the planning, Grace added so much value and brought up so many good points that resulted in a perfect wedding day. If you want someone who is organized, on top of things, an advocate for you and your partner, and will undoubtedly make your wedding day as easy as possible...hire Grace. If you want someone who is cool, friendly, fun, and caring...hire Grace. If you want someone who will resolve all your problems on your wedding day...hire Grace. You get the point. We were so happy with the planning tools she used and the booklets you and your closest friends and family will receive that outline the timeline of the day. She executed our decor setup perfectly and immediately took care any annoyance throughout the wedding weekend. She even packed our wedding bouquet and shipped it to our preservation company so we didn't have to worry about it. We wish we could hire Grace again, and if we ever do a vow renewal or any other major event we 1000% will!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Grace! She was exceptional at organizing vendors and crafting the perfect day-of timeline, ensuring every detail was flawlessly executed. Grace’s ability to manage competing opinions, particularly between mother and daughter, while always advocating for our wishes was remarkable. She was incredibly communicative, keeping the entire bridal party informed of all the day-of details. She built such a strong bond of trust with us, we had no doubt that every detail would go off without a hitch, making our wedding day stress free and enjoyable. With Grace on your team, your wedding day will be just as perfect as ours. If you’re on the fence and not sure if you need a coordinator, or not sure who to pick, hire Grace. You wont regret it. She is the best.
If I could give a 10 star rating of Grace I would...where to start? As the MOB I wasn't sure we needed the services of a wedding planner...we had done all the work - or so I thought... we had found our venue..band..florist etc...what would else would we need? Grace came into our lives about 6 months out...reviewed our contracts...confirmed our plans - made the follow up calls so we didn't need to. When we arrived at our venue to find our 11 piece band was stuck in traffic - Grace was calm under pressure with a plan B- Thankfully the band arriived! The night was orchestrated so perfectly that my guests were so impressed on how the night just flowed...that was all Grace. When the night was over...our car was packed...we were able to just walk out..all due to Grace. It's all the little details that as a guest you just think "happen" - now having had our wedding I 1000% percent know its all the behind the scenes that make it run perfectly...and Grace was that saving Grace with the vendors and had our wedding day running so smoothly and without any cares - we are still running on a wedding day high. I would definitely use her again! She was our saving Grace :)

I never could have imagined I'd feel so at ease the weeks leading up to my wedding. My stress levels were close to zero and on the day of, I was at complete peace knowing Grace was around and handling everything that needed to be handled. She is an amazing person to have by your side during the wedding planning process and everyone loved having her around on the day of our wedding.

Working with Grace truly made for a wonderful wedding planning experience. She helped us get started by helping us pick the best vendor team. As the wedding got closer she helped us organize our timeline and helped managed vendor communication. Day of - holy moly! Having Grace present on our wedding day was like having my best friend by my side to make sure everything ran smoothly and help with whatever we needed. Grace and her team are gems and any bride would be lucky to work with them.
The most important person at our wedding was Grace. Her services go way beyond what most planners offer. She's worth every penny! Grace coordinated a timeline for our wedding, communicated with all our vendors, worked closely with the venue and the wedding party to produce the most spectacular, and magically entertaining wedding. Grace will create and print a booklet of your timeline and share it with your wedding party, with the venue and with each of your vendors so that everyone is aware of exactly what to do and exactly what time to do it. The timeline Grace created worked perfectly! We cherished every moment of our wedding because of Grace. With a calm demeanor and an acute attention to detail Grace coordinated an outdoor wedding ceremony in December in front of Beluga whales, Santa Claus at the ceremony, a Christmas light show, a Sea lion show and a cocktail hour with Penguins. I had three wedding dress changes, a dress for the ceremony, a dress for the cocktail hour and a dress for the reception and Grace made me feel like a celebrity bride while she flawlessly managed all 3 of my wardrobe changes including dresses, crowns, veils, hats, shoes, ostrich feathers, furs, boots and a scepter. Grace was meticulous with my decorating plans, which required outdoor ceremony decorations, cocktail hour decorations, and reception decorations. Grace went above and beyond and extended her service to assist us with an issue at our hotel. We were grateful for how she resolved the issue . We did not have to worry about 1 single thing with Grace as our wedding planner. Hire Grace and you will relax, enjoy and cherish every moment of your wedding.
Good Graces doesn't cut, I actually call her Amazing Grace and my Saving Grace. As an event planner getting married, I hired Grace so I could enjoy my own wedding as if I were a guest. Grace took the wheel -- she's methodical, thorough, calm, and always had my best interest in mind. If you're interviewing Grace, throw any question at her. She's prepared, she's ready and she maneuvers changes seamlessly. My wedding went better than planned and I'm already trying to find excuses to work with Grace again. Our families have not stopped praising her and I would recommend and refer her over and over and over again. Thank you so much Grace!
Amazing, wonderful, an absolute godsend, these are just a few words that describe Grace. We hired her to be our Day of Coordinator but let me tell you she is SO much more than that. She exceeded ALL expectations, she seriously goes above and beyond. She helped keep me sane, she let me bounce ideas off of her, she listened to me vent, she even went to bat for us when we had an issue arise with our venue a couple of weeks before our big day. She basically saved our wedding. I’m honestly not even sure if there were any issues with our guests or vendors that came up on our wedding day because if there were she handled them and we were blissfully unaware. We’re still getting calls and messages from our guests telling us how amazing our wedding was and what a great vibe it had and that had so much to do with Grace. She is so talented, caring, professional, flexible, personal and a truly beautiful soul. I’m so grateful she came into our lives. I feel like during this past year she has become a friend. I’m seriously going to miss her and I hope we can stay in touch with her.
I can’t say enough good things about Grace. I would hire her to coordinate my everyday life if I could. From our first conversation through our amazing wedding day, she had everything organized and moving seamlessly. The weather changed our layout for the day, but Grace was on top of it before I could even begin to be stressed about it. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the entire day, Grace had it handled. From moving the ceremony chairs inside and coordinating the day of itinerary with all our vendors, and decorating the reception space which then also became the ceremony space, she knocked it out of the park. She not only waited on my husband and I, ALL DAY, but also our wedding party and EVERY guest at the wedding. Some of it I didn’t even find out about until days later because she just handled it on the spot and didn’t bother me with ANYTHING. On top of just being ABSOLUTELY SUPERB at her job, she really is just a phenomenal person and I feel we developed a friendship and I hope we never lose touch! I will be recommending her to everyone I know for years to come and will most definitely use her for a future occasion. Any excuse to hire her, I will 😂. Thank you doesn’t even cut it, but Grace, thank you a million times over for making our day stress free, seamless and a day we will never forget. We love you!!!
Hands down, working with Grace was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. From our first meeting, I knew she was the right choice. She took so much stress off of us during the planning process, was quick and easy to communicate with, worked well with all of our vendors, and her warmth and kindness made the process so much more enjoyable. In fact, I miss working with her now that our day is over! We are so so happy Grace was part of our special day, and I would hire her all over again in a heartbeat.
When I first came across Grace, I was admittedly hesitant to book her as our day of coordinator because I wasn't even sure if we "needed" a DOC. Looking back, I wish we had booked her as our first vendor!!!! Grace is professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to her clients and her work. She was on top of communication between us, our vendors, and any questions we may have had. Grace spent so much time working on the details of our day so we could enjoy the process and not have to worry about a single detail. We had multiple locations for our wedding day (our house for the girls, the hotel for the guys, the church for the ceremony, and the venue for the reception). She attended our rehearsal the night before and then hit the ground running on the day of the wedding, driving between our many locations to ensure everything was perfect (and it was!). My mom and I DIYed our florals and decor and Grace absolutely made my vision come to life when setting up our venue space. We absolutely recommend Grace to any couple getting married!!!
Grace is a wedding planning super hero. She solved so problems that popped up with the venue or other vendors and took all the stress off my plate. She makes you feel like you're the most important couple in the world and truly cares how you're feeling and what you want your wedding day to be like. She is a great communicator for couples and vendors. She is very quick to respond and on top of all vendor communications. My vendors praised Grace for her communication, professionalism, and for being so easy to work with. I would hire Grace over and over again! She is helpful, kind, organized, detail oriented, and beyond fun!
Grace has been nothing but professional and organized throughout the process! She got involved way earlier than we expected her to be, which helped streamline the coordination ahead of time. She asks detailed questions (things you haven't thought of), leaving nothing unplanned or to chance.
On your wedding day (guaranteed), things will go wrong. If you want someone to handle it and make it feel like everything is smooth sailing, we highly recommend Grace.
We could not have managed my daughter's wedding without her. She did a great job making sure all was happening correctly behind the scenes so we did not need to worry about anything, just enjoy the wedding. Prior to the wedding she gently made sure that we had done what we needed to do and interfaced with all of our vendors. The caterer called her a "gem!' We would have to agree!
Grace was a pleasure to work with and made the wedding planning process so much easier for me. I hired her a month before my wedding to assist me in finalizing the details of my wedding day. She is extremely knowledgeable and super organized! I had a lot of anxiety about all of the planning elements leading to my big day, and Grace was able to help me to organize everything. One helpful aspect of her work was that she helped me to plan out my day from beginning to end. No detail was left untouched. Grace also took the lead in communicating with my all of my vendors, which took a huge load of responsibility off of my shoulders during the month leading to my wedding. She attended my rehearsal dinner and provided
a very organized description of the day to my bridal party and ran through our ceremony procession. On the day of the wedding, I can’t say enough about how much Grace contributed to ensuring that my day went by seamlessly. It was truly stress free for me! She assisted with set up and breakdown of my decor, handled vendors, and generally made sure that everything went smoothly. My wedding day was one of the best days of my life and I am so grateful that Grace helped to ensure that my day was absolutely perfect! My wedding was in July in NJ and it was perfect, many thanks to Grace. Throughout the entire process Grace was kind and thoughtful, open to our ideas and able to expand on them creatively. Grace communicated effectively with other vendors, got us the best deals possible with florists, caterers, etc. She made sure every last detail was buttoned up, and even solved a few day-of emergencies, without me knowing. I would highly recommend Grace to anyone looking for a worry-free wedding day.
