I will say up front that I struggled between three and four stars, so I would say they are a 3+. I will also say up front that flowers are not my area of expertise and I admit they were the least important part of our wedding so we were really... committed to sticking to a tight budget. I had heard that flowers could get expensive and so I opted for the minimum: bouquets, boutaniers, a few centerpieces and some simple flowers for the aisle. I wanted a really "undone", simple, rustic vibe, with smaller flower arrangements strewn across the tables (we had long family style table arrangements). I can say that Good Old Days generally delivered what we asked, but I'm not sure the style totally lived up to the vision I had in mind. What we got were basically larger centerpieces, which were very nice, but no smaller flowers around the table. This may have ultimately been due to what my budget allowed, but I was definitely surprised to see how little my budget got us and how different it was from what I envisioned. I had thought that since we were having a really small wedding (43 people) and we only had two long tables, our money would stretch, especially since I wanted a really simple rustic vibe. To be fair, they did warn of our budget being tight and so my rating mainly reflects the value moreso than the service, which was good. They were fun to deal with and definitely take a lot of pride in what they do and they know the area well. There were a few times where it was hard to get in touch with them or the process felt very lax, which was good in some ways, but for those brides who have a lot of other things to deal with, this may be something to know about. A lot of our wedding was very DIY and in hindsight I may have chosen to do the flowers myself or opted for some centerpiece alternatives. All in all, a good vendor in the Hudson Valley area, just know that flowers, apparently, are very expensive!
