Good Vibrations Mobile DJs

We met with Kurt initially to sign our contract, get to know the company, etc. That meeting went incredibly well, he genuinely seemed like he wanted to get to know my husband as I not only as people but as a couple. After that meeting is when things went downhill. Our DJ Jeff was assigned to us sometime in June or July (our wedding was in August) and once he was assigned to us he was supposed to reach out to us to go over our DJ Planning Guide (which all of their couples have to fill out with all the necessary songs and names of people etc). He never called and finally less than 2 weeks before the wedding I emailed Heidi (their secretary/behind the scenes person, she is absolutely amazing) letting her know that we hadn't heard from our DJ so she got on that right away. After she contacted Jeff, he finally called me to talk through our paperwork which was slightly frustrating because we were supposed to have a face to face meeting with both my husband and myself there, but instead it was conducted over the phone. At that point it was 2 weeks before the wedding and there was no time to meet in person so we did it over the phone which should have been my first red flag. Fast forward to the wedding day, because of doing things over the phone, Jeff then has questions, but rather than waiting until we have a moment of free time, he interrupts pictures to get them answered. He had no idea how much money I still owed Good Vibrations so when my matron of honor went to pay him he had to contact people to find that out. He then didn't follow my instructions of how to introduce my father/daughter dances (I have a dad and a step dad who don't get along so I needed it done a specific way). He then did all the typical wedding DJ games in a strange order. The dollar dance was extremely late, we had to tell him when to do it because so many of our guests were leaving, the garter/bouquet toss was extremely late, and there was no anniversary dance like we had requested. He then failed to give us the flashdrive with all of our important songs on it such as our first dance song. Overall we had a negative experience with Jeff, but a good experience with all of the other staff at Good Vibrations. The only positive thing I have to say about Jeff is that he kept the dance floor pretty full throughout the night. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because of the other staff.

Our DJ was Kurt, and he was super friendly and helped us throughout the entire night! They sent us a paper to fill out for what we want throughout the night (music, speeches, games, etc...). We weren't sure what music to select, so the night of, we told him that our guests weren't too picky in music, and to play whatever he felt was best. We got so many compliments on our DJ and the music they played. We also payed extra for their photo booth, and it was a hit! We highly recommend Good Vibrations!!

We had these guys reserved well in advance of the wedding, had all the paperwork filled out that they asked us to fill out regarding the wedding ceremony and reception music plenty early, and yet the night before the wedding the DJ called and asked for all of our songs again for the ceremony and reception as if they had never seen the paperwork. Frustrating to deal with at the last minute, wondering why I filled out all the damn paperwork if they never read it. We had sound issues during the ceremony, the mic cut out quite a bit, so not everyone in the audience could hear the officiant. The music that was played during reception was good, it was almost entirely our playlist, which was fine, but I don't know why they would just keep looping it and not play anything else, I heard a few songs a couple of times because they played our dinner music on repeat...not sure why they wouldn't play something else, kind of what a DJ does. DJ was ok, nothing to write home about. Good thing we have good taste in music, cuz apparently he had no idea what else to play besides our playlist.

We put in a lot of time, we brought in a generator for the ceremony and he was late on all music. Then at the reception he blew songs for maid of honor speeches and ended up in silence for over ten minutes when everything was planned way ahead of time. Then he forgot to add a surprise song for my wife's mother and her. And played songs that the bride asked to hold off until we got back from pictures he already played by time we got back and said he couldn't play them again bc they delete automatically and he can't get them back for her. It was a disaster the entire time. Do not waste your time on these people.
