The tent and chairs we rented for our wedding were spotless and looked very nice. The tent crew worked quickly and without any help needed to assemble and erect the tent exactly where we wanted. They were very professional and accommodating to some site specific challenges.
Seamless installation of our tent, tables, chairs etc! They made it so easy to just focus on the wedding, as they set everything up! Taylor was in constant communication did a phenomenal job!
Super easy communication and really flexible and honest. Great working with them and would recommend for any event.
This was a difficult review to write because this was the vendor we struggled the most with. Let’s start with an excerpt from their web page: “Our highly-experienced staff will guide you from the first event consultation to the efficient installation of your rental equipment for a variety of events...” So when my husband and I went to our appointment to pick out linens and dishes for our wedding, we were kind of flabbergasted when the “highly experienced staff” just pointed out where samples of everything was in the showroom and went back to their desk leaving the two of us to our own devices. That could hardly be considered being “guide[ed] from the first event consultation”. Can you imagine going to a caterer’s office and being led to the kitchen and told to cook what you think is good and then the chef disappears? We also had a hiccup getting definitive information about the availability of a piece of cooking equipment. The communication was either really good or really bad. Everything got sorted in the end after our venue owner reached out to Grand’s owner via personal channels and installation and pick up were pretty flawless, less 40 missing butter knives that Grand rushed out. But if the owner hadn’t intervened would the outcome have been the same?
Poor customer service before and after the event. Out flatware looked like it was from an old high school cafeteria. No follow up before the event resulting in cost overruns and no check up after the event, just an invoice for missing items. I’ll never use them again.
Grand Event Rentals had everything we needed and in colors that perfectly fit our theme. Their delivery and pickup was prompt and reserving through them was easy!
The folks at Grand Event Rentals were nice and generally had good stock of rental items. Delivery was quite expensive, but that was inline with all of the other rental companies we got quotes with. The reason I've given them only 3 stars is because they failed to deliver a set of drinking glasses to us and then tried to bill us when they weren't delivered. They only took the trouble to double check their own inventory at my great insistence. They did eventually locate the glasses they never delivered in their own warehouse; credited the rental fee back to us and apologized. I would advise people to double check deliveries and note any discrepancies and be sure to check what they bill you for after.
They were on time and everything was exactly as requested! I have no complaints after working with GER for our August wedding.
Use any other company to rent rentals from. We used them for our wedding in Port Townsend, even went into the storefront in Bothell months before because we were concerned about delivery and pick up so far away. They assured us it would be totally fine. However, only a couple hours into the wedding our servers started dumping out our guests' wine because the drivers from Grand Events came INTO our venue and told the servers it was time to pack up, hours before the contract said they were supposed to come in and pack up the items. I contacted the general manager and brought up this and the fact that I had ordered 65 pint glasses and they sent 11. He was completely unhelpful, basically didn't believe that his drivers entered our venue and were the cause of hundreds of dollars of wine being poured out. I would absolutely never work or rent from them again. They didn't even cover the charges we incurred due to not having pint glasses last minute. This company has abysmal leadership and zero customer service. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! You won't regret it.
Grand event was easy to work with! I was able to fax all of my paperwork in, drive to their building they loaded my car and then I had my in-laws return all of the rentals. it was nice that I wasn't the one that had to return them. the only down fall was I rented a cake knife and it was on the paperwork that it was there and the day of we couldn't seem to find it. it was all good and we used a butter knife. I know that in the end they took it off my bill though and didn't charge me.
Grand Event Rentals is our go-to rental company for our personal events and client weddings. As wedding planners/designers, it is important to have the best of the best, and we can always count on Grand for exceptional service and quality rentals.
Easy to communicate with, had everything in stock, great prices! Made things very easy on us which we needed as we were making all of our own food!!!
I would highly recommend Grand Event Rentals! Jill was the one I was working with, she was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any changes we had to our rentals, which was often! no problems with delivery and pick up, plus their inventory is beautiful and the most affordable I found in the Seattle area!
Used them for my wedding in April. I had them supply everything for my reception and ceremony as my venue was a blank slate. I had a clear-top tent for my ceremony with crystal chandeliers and mahogany chiavaris. For my reception I had a white top tent with the ceiling drape liner, leg drapes and crystal chandeliers. They also provided tables, chairs, dance-floor, linens and all my place settings. I would highly recommend them for any rental needs you may have!
Vineyard chairs STUNNING! Took the reception look to a whole other level. Price for chairs were fine, but delivery charge was over the top. Worth it, but painful.
We used Grand Event Rentals for our wedding in July and they were fantastic. Annelise was incredibly helpful and patient, especially considering we changed our order a hundred times! Annelise was very responsive, always getting back to us quickly, updating our order, and answering our questions. She was so friendly and helpful, I highly recommend you work with her! Delivery and pick-up was easy, with a whole crew that came out to help us set up. All of the items we ordered were included, nothing was missing. Take down was quick and painless too.
We compared several rental companies in King County and Grand Event Rentals was the least expensive option *as long as you get a coupon from a bridal show.* They were also the most conveniently located for us and have convenient show room hours.
The only complaint I have about GER is that the site consultation was a complete waste of time. The guy who came to survey our property completely forgot about our appointment and we had to call the office several times to find out where he was. We ended up having to delay our appointment by several hours and it was a waste of our day. When he finally did show up, he clearly didn't want to be there. The process was very short and arguably incomplete. He told us he'd send a map of our property and rental layout the following business day, but we still hadn't received anything 2 weeks later. I had to pester them to get the survey map and when we finally did get it, it was completely messed up. Wonder if he forgot about us altogether and then BS'd something together when we asked? Using Google Earth, I created the map correctly and gave it to them. No idea if they used it for set-up anyway, but the crew that set everything up was super easy to work with and we made corrections as we went.
In summary, I do recommend Grand Event Rentals. The price, convenient show room and hours, huge catalog to choose from, flexibility, and staff like Annelise made it a great experience. Thank you, GER for helping us put together a fantastic event!
The staff at Grand Event Rentals was great to work with. I love that they honored their discount from the Seattle Wedding Show and I was able to submit my quote online and was followed up with via email. The booking process was easy and I LOVED that I could pick up for my Sunday wedding on Saturday and drop off on Monday without being charged a surcharge.
My only "complaint" would be that they offered several items on their website that were what I preferred for our wedding but was later told they don't have those items. Wouldn't it make more sense to remove them then?
We were able to make do with the substitutes but they would certainly be a vendor I would work with in the future if it were ever necessary.
I had a good experience with them. We rented a large coffee urn, coffee server, and plastic pitchers for our wedding. It was easy to reserve and and pick up and drop of was a breeze. They were quick to answer me and the pick and and drop off time period was very generous.
The only complaint that I have is that I forgot to pick up the rentals the day before the wedding (with everything going on it slipped my mind) and I did not remember till the morning of! It would have been nice if they would have called me but at least I remembered.

We had not planned to do any rentals for the day of our wedding. But the forcast a week out from the day looked like rain, so our venue helped us work with Grand Event Rentals to get a tent and lighting last minute. We were able to have a tent and lighting all set up for our day at a reasonable price. Even though it didn't end up raining, it was great for our peace of mind!
My caterer used Grand Event Rentals but I had a number of interactions with them that showed me what great service they provide. I went to their showroom to compare different linen color combinations and they were so helpful. We had a tent set up in our yard for our backyard wedding and the delivery people were so great. Everything was perfect.
We rented a tent, chairs, and an arch for our ceremony and Grand Event Rentals did set-up and tear down and everything was of great quality.

It was so easy to order rentals from this company for our linens and chairs. Even though I changed my order a few times, they rolled with the punches.
See if your items can be delivered on weekdays....they will charge you a fortune for saturday delivery. Very nice staff and everything showed up lokking very nice!
They helped out with all the tent measurements and site visit. They were easy to work with and had the best prices.
Grand Event Rentals arranged set up with the planner at our wedding venue. They called me the day before my wedding and really stressed me out about set-up time I had nothing to do with and told me they were going to charge me a bunch of extra money. Then they later called the right person and worked it out, completely unnecessary to call me at all. Then, at the wedding the curtains looked nice but I noticed several stains on them around the room. They are cheaper but you get what you pay for and I wish I would have gone with a different company.
Eddie and his team executed our vision flawlessly! Without them, our wedding would have been plain, boring, and lackluster, but they were able to decorate our venue beautifully and we couldn't have been happier!
They had a great selection of all different styles to choose from and I really liked that about this rental company! They were my second chose only because of distance and the cost was expensive to deliver!
My wedding was in my back yard at the end of summer (unpredictable weather) I rented a tent with liner and a dance floor. It was expensive, but worth every penny. It added so much to the atmosphere. I didn't bet the leg covers and didn't miss them though. They came and set up two days before the wedding so we had plenty of time to decorate. Very nice guys!
The person that took my order put my email address in wrong so when I didn't respond to the email confirmation, they acted like it was my fault. In the meantime, they ran out of some of the items that I had tried to order. When I voiced my concern, I was told that I was not their only bride and it's not their responsibility to make sure everyone responds to their emails. So basically, my business was not important to them!
Looking at their pictures and going to their showroom, I was sure I'd get something just as grand as what they'd presented. We ordered the wooden white fold out chairs and when they showed up, they were more like white plastic than anything! They never counted the supplies before leaving and when 5 cheap-o wine glasses were missing by the end of the night (unaccounted for from the beginning) they charged us a whopping $25 dollars each for their crappy .50cent mass produced glasses. Don't waste your money with their service - or at least make sure someone COUNTS everything before they up and leave and charge you extra for this own mishaps.
We made the right decision by hiring Grand Event Rentals for our wedding ceremony (Seattle) and reception (Mercer Island). Our representative, Kevin Rufert, did a great job in keeping up with the constant changes to our orders. As our guest count fluctuated, so did the amount of equipment we required. Kevin promptly issued me a new quote each time we made a change, which helped us out immensely. They delivered everything on time, which was crucial to our plans. In the early stages Kevin actually came out to our venue in person to help use measure and strategize over what size/shape tables to use and how many – that was also a huge help. Their delivery drivers were also friendly and hard working. Thank you for everything!
