Lori was extremely attentive and she made everything run smoothly on my husband and I’s wedding day. It was a perfect day and I owe a lot of that to Lori. I will definitely be using her for any events in the future. Amazing women and so sweet. Really made me feel so special.

Oh where to start!! Let’s start with how INCREDIBLE Lori is!! I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator. She was there for me at all moments during our wedding from keeping us on our timeline, to allowing extra time for special moments, making sure the groom and I had drinks at all times, pulling me into the kitchen for a quick snack and to breathe before our next task and also becoming a friend that made sure my children got to eat during all the dancing and running around. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful of a person Lori is. 5 stars is not enough to rate her, she deserves 10!! I will always recommend Lori for any wedding because she is on it and will not let you down!!

We hired Lori as our day of Coordinator at the recommendation of our wedding venue- she was beyond FANTASTIC! Lori is professional, prompt in all communication, readily available, flexible and the picture of calm during the wedding. I purchased the Virtual Planning Package from Lori and I’m so happy I did! My fiancé and I ended up having to push out our wedding a year due to expecting our first child. After that, I really lost my motivation to get everything planned. Lori was a LIFESAVER. She knows all the tips, tricks and amazing vendors. With most of the planning being virtual, she still met up with us over dinner to go over a timeline and to-do list. Also she was great with communication. Checked in about once a week. Usually both via email and text which is a godsend when you’re communicating so much with vendors. 10/10 recommend booking with Grand Events by Lori!! 🤩 She will help with keeping you sane through this hectic but memorable time!

Lori handled a Celebration of Life event for my son. She did an amazing job of coordinating everything in a very short period of time and over the Christmas holidays. She took all the hassle away from ordering tables and chairs, recommending and handling the caterer and also had a lot of great suggestions. The celebration went off without a hitch and I didn’t even have to set up or clean up! She took care of it all. Well worth it for me! I would highly recommend Grand Events by Lori for any special event you are planning.

Lori is phenomenal! We were so lucky to have her plan our September 2023 wedding weekend in Vero Beach. She is so easy to work with, she is exceptional at planning and project managing a complex event, she is creative, and she helped us beyond measure. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a…. Wait a minute, somethings missing before the marriage part.. Grand events by Lori, duh! Once the love of your life finally ask you to marry them the real stress begins. Where should we get married, when should we get married, and finally who should help us get married? I cant help you with the first two question's but the last one is easy, Lori! Lori was there every step of the way to help make suggestion's and guide us through the confusing wedding process. With her years of experience as a wedding coordinator she is the perfect person to have in your corner both leading up to and at your wedding. She is there to help prevent and in some cases put out any “fires” that may arise on your special day before you even know about them. Lets face it, sometimes things don't go as planned but Lori does everything in her power to make sure they do and has a backup plan for when they don't. I don't think I had to lift a single finger day of, all I had to do was show up, enjoy the day and let her take care of the rest. Lori is the best wedding planner! She helped so much in the planning and all of the vendors she suggested were fabulous. She was easy to work. Lori supervised the setting up of the reception venue while we were at the wedding and made sure it was beautiful! She greeted us when we got to the reception with a smile and a glass of our favorite libation and made sure the reception stayed on schedule. I would highly recommend her for your wedding or event.

Lori is seriously amazing! From the second we met, she was so nice and easy to talk to. She truly cares about her couples and wanting their wedding to be amazing. Even though I had her for just a day or coordination, she still helped me if I needed it throughout the whole process. Lori is absolutely amazing. I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to this girl! She recommended all of my vendors who were not only amazing but also very affordable. My wedding had to be rescheduled a couple of time due to Covid and she worked her magic to get all the vendors coordinated and rescheduled. Also the day of the wedding it rained and everything had to be set up differently last minute and she rocked it and made it even better then what I imagined. Lori was my lead/day of planner at my wedding on 4/9/22 at The Grand Manor, and I was beyond impressed with the way she orchestrated a flawless wedding for me and my husband. Lori jumped right in and filled big shoes for my month of coordinator/decorator, Daniela. Daniela had a prior wedding reschedule to the same weekend as mine (gotta love Covid), and being that it was out of town, she couldn’t be in two places at once. Without blinking an eye, Lori stepped in the night of our rehearsal with Daniela to introduce herself, and I immediately felt comfortable with her taking over for our big day. Needless to say, my initial impression was spot on. Her ability to keep everything running in a smooth manner and coordinate between all of the vendors on the day of, made my life stress free and enjoyable. She was my little guardian angel all night long, who effortlessly just appeared when I needed her… whether it be finding that last bustle, appearing with a drink in the midst of photos, making sure our dinner was served to us and we stayed seated… all of the little things, she had control of it all, and that’s truly what makes your big day go smooth. Lori did a phenomenal job coordinating for my best friend’s wedding! Her attention to detail was very much on point. I was with the bride through the entire process and Lori was just the best the whole way through . She’s a great listener and a true professional! I was a guest at a wedding that Lori planned and, let me tell you, it was the best one I’ve been to in a long time. Lori made sure every one of the couple’s wishes were met and she was so much fun. Absolutely the best! We ended up getting married a year before our ceremony/reception. It was absolutely perfect. We ended up changing a bunch of stuff at the last minute and she was able to adapt and make everything perfect for us! I would not have picked anyone else to do this. She was incredible always being there with each question I had and took care of everything the day of. I didn't have to come up with a timeline, didn't have to deal with any vendors the day of dropping anything off. If you want a stress-free wedding with someone you can trust, go with Lori!

To the people who actually take the time to read reviews I hope this helps your decision 10x easier... There are really no words to say to express my gratitude to this woman. She was recommended to me by the first venue I had chosen to have my wedding held. Planning a wedding was already difficult, stressful, annoying, irritating, overwhelming, etc. and she made it so much easier. She was always calm, reassuring, and every bit of amazing even when the wedding planning went to complete SHIT. She was my therapist, my confidant, my friend, she was everything to me when I had nothing more to give. I don't know why I thought planning a wedding while in my senior year of college would be smart ... but it wasn't. So my stress with making sure I graduated on top of planning a wedding across the country was top notch. My maid of honor dropped off the wedding party, I found out the first venue was completely disgusting after touring it the day of the menu tasting (food was phenomenal), I went through three wedding coordinators at the second venue, some vendors I hired had terrible communication skills, etc. I hope you're catching on that my wedding planning was a disaster and my angel in disguise was Lori through it all. She handled EVERYTHING for me so I didn't have to worry, all while taking care of her daughter and working full time. I never felt for a second felt that Lori didn't have my back. Emails, phone calls, text messages, face time, whatever I needed she was there no questions asked. My wedding day .... beautiful, amazing, gorgeous, all of thee above. The day of the wedding I woke up with no worries because I knew she was handling everything. She even put me in my dress and zipped it for me (my mom was still getting dressed) and that was the solidification of our relationship because she is now FAMILY. This is no longer a business relationship, she's stuck with me for life <3. Hiring Lori as my wedding planner was the best decision I made during the wedding planning process.

Lori is amazing! She is brillant, calm, and just so knowledgeable. Our wedding went so smoothly. If there were any problems, we never knew. I hired Lori to be my “day of” event coordinator for my son’s after rehearsal party. Best decision I made! Planning a large party from out of state was difficult and stressful but Lori helped me through every little detail. I’m the type of person that likes to plan things. So when my daughter got engaged, naturally she figured I’d handle planning the wedding. I was so excited to do this and went right into planning mode. Then one day, as I was creating a vendor spreadsheet, I thought about how busy I was going to be the day of the wedding and I felt a sense of dread. It was at that moment I remembered the flyer I was given advertising Grand Events by Lori. After discussing it with my husband, I reached out and hired Lori to take over the reins the day of the wedding so I could just enjoy being the Mom. Now under normal circumstances my story would just end there and I would tell you how amazing Lori was the day of the wedding.....but these are not normal times! My daughter and her fiancé became ill 4 days before their wedding and we had to postpone it. When my daughter called me and told me she was positive for the virus I felt like I had been hit by a tidal wave. I immediately texted Lori and she just flew into action! Lori was able to easily navigate through all the phone calls, emails, and text messages to the vendors and venue to let everyone know what was going on. She assisted us in coordinating all the vendors to a new wedding date - even though she, herself, was not available on the new day that was selected. It was a miracle that all the vendors could move to the new day....but we were devastated that Lori could not. But she didn’t leave us high and dry - which honestly she could have - instead, she arranged for her assistant Jaime to run the day and it was a phenomenal wedding! The measure of a professional is tested during times of difficulty and I can honestly say that Lori proved, beyond a doubt, how amazing she is at her craft! I think with anyone else at the helm, I would have been panicking! But Lori handled it all with grace and finesse and even found the time to calm me down and put me at ease. So it is without hesitation, and with full confidence, that I HIGHLY recommend Lori of Grand Events by Lori to plan your wedding!! Lori is the most amazing wedding planner. She ensured that we were taken care of in all aspects. One of the things that stood out the most, is that our wedding was a destination wedding in Fort Lauderdale and we reside in Seattle. Before Lori, the planning phase was so stressful, because I was trying to handle everything from a distance. Lori made sure that everything was amazing. Lori and her team were professional, organized, inspired and very importantly other vendors liked to work with them. She attended vendor meetings, was an encyclopedia for wedding etiquette and protocol, and very responsive to texts, emails and phone calls in a timely manner. She even stuffed and mailed our invitations which can be very time-consuming. She went above and beyond by doing lots of extra things. On the day of our wedding, she even insured we stayed fed and hydrated throughout the day by going out of her way to pick up platters and drinks for the wedding party. After the wedding, she sent us home and stayed to clean up. We truly felt like guests at the wedding as she and her assistants took care of everything in the background. The wedding was a month ago and she is still in touch with our photography and videography vendors to make sure we are completely taken care of and satisfied. Having a wedding planner is cool, but having a Lori is an absolute must! Lori was incredible and on top of everything. I should start this review by stating I was extremely apprehensive about hiring a wedding planner. As someone with a strict budget, I was determined to save money wherever I could. When I first got engaged, I kept telling myself that I would be one of the pinterest budget brides that gave me so much inspiration online. A friend referred me to Lori, and the most important thing I can say is that my wedding would not have been anywhere near as incredible as it was without Lori. Even in times of panic and feeling completely overwhelmed, Lori was there for me, having a solution for everything. She made the process of planning so much easier for me and my husband. It is hard to imagine just how much work is involved with planning a wedding, how many individual details that have to be considered, until you try to plan one yourself. Lori is one of the sweetest souls I have ever met, and her level of organization and professionalism is incredible. She orchestrated my entire event and had it run so smoothly, even when we encountered hiccups. She is also a wonderful advocate for the bride and groom, helping to keep guests in check (including those family/friends who may not be the most well versed in manners). She made sure that we had time to eat without interruptions from our guests constantly walking up to our table. She brought water for me during our photo sessions outside. I just can't say enough good things about her and the amazing job she does. It is obvious that she does her job because she loves what she does and loves making people happy on their special day. After this experience, hiring a wedding planner, especially one so amazing as Lori, is the best advice I could ever give to a future bride!

Lori & Jamie were absolutely amazing! We were so lucky to have them taking care of every last detail on the day of the wedding and before! Lori had so many wonderful ideas that we hadn't even thought of which helped things run so much smoother. Definitely the best decision we made choosing her as the wedding planner for our daughter's wedding - there was not one issue she wasn't right on top of!

I’m the kind of person that if there is an overwhelming amount of things to do to plan for special events, I somehow, at times, become paralyzed in both thought and physical action. Though in the past I’ve always managed to plan really great parties and events for friends and family, I found myself exhausted and overly stressed during the entire planning process, perhaps because I have that Type A personality that makes it more work than it should. Therefore, I couldn’t have made a more wise decision in hiring Lori from Grand Events by Lori to be my planner/coordinator for my most important event, my wedding. From the very beginning, Lori was able to provide me with the resources necessary to help get the process started. From vendors to venues, she provided reputable people to choose from that would not only work within my budget but would also make my day unique and special to me. For example, my budget for a photographer was under a thousand, which is really hard to find. Even if you do, the pictures probably won’t be stellar. Lori worked hard and was able to find a photographer that was well under our budget and the pictures were more than stellar! They were PERFECT! I honestly would have NEVER found that vendor because they were an hour away from us but she did! When the time drew nearer to our special day, Lori designed a thorough and easy to follow timeline that fully delineated to the vendors, bridal party, immediate family, and of course to my fiance and I how the day was to unfold. I so desperately needed that structure and it gave me such peace knowing that she was going to be handling everything behind the scenes so that I can enjoy my day without a single worry. Lori provided that and more. She cheerfully guided us through our entire ceremony and reception so that we could just enjoy our special day to the fullest extent with all of our friends and family. Even with all of the last minute fixes and unexpected issues that came up, Lori was flexible and resolved them. Even as simple as reminding me to breathe before I anxiously walked down the aisle! Lori has a beautiful passion for what she does as a wedding planner and it shows in her professionalism, her timely responsiveness, flexibility, and quality of service. I highly encourage and recommend to any couple planning a wedding to utilize her services. It was blessing in and of itself to be able to thoroughly enjoy my wedding day carefree.
