nting, but knowing that GG was handling the venue, catering, cake, bar service, rentals, transportation, rehearsal dinner, and hotel accommodations gave us peace of mind (it was very convenient to have all of this under 1 roof instead of spread amongst different vendors). We selected a package that fit our needs, and the team truly took it from there. One of the highlights of planning with GG was their large wedding showcase. It was an amazing event where couples could sample butler-passed appetizers, signature cocktails, and wine pairings, while also enjoying a full dinner tasting. This made our menu selections so much easier, and it was super fun!! The showcase also featured beautifully staged table settings, allowing us to see the different linens, napkins, chargers, and chairs in person, as well as view work from local florists and rental companies. We felt this event was such a thoughtful touch and one of our favorite parts of the planning process. Our event manager, Haley Bartz, deserves special recognition. She was AMAZING - so positive, organized, professional, and always went above and beyond. Her experience and know how were evident every step of the way, and she was truly dedicated to making sure our day was everything we envisioned. Our venue at the GG was the Mountain Top Chalet, which is used for skiing in the winter and converted to weddings in the summer. When we arrived to setup for the wedding, the building was in rough condition, which was unexpected given the price point and overall elegance of the resort. HOWEVER, once we raised concerns, a team was quickly coordinated to clean, paint, and repair the space - by the next day, it had been completely refreshed. We are so grateful for Haley's responsiveness and the hard work of the staff at GG. That said, we would recommend the resort consider maintaining the chalet year-round so that it matches the high standards of the main property. We might also suggest providing golf carts to couples on their wedding day - it was a lot of running for our wedding planner, and not having quick transportation made moving between photo locations a challenge. Offering golf cart transportation would add an extra level of convenience and care. Aside from those small areas of feedback, everything else was truly outstanding. The staff at GG was phenomenal across the board - from the bellhop helping with our luggage, to the front desk staff storing our flowers, to the trolley driver shuttling guests, to housekeeping preparing our suites, and even maintenance handling last minute needs. Every team member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their role - which is so rare and awesome to see! Our guests are still raving about the resort - from the spa and pool to the breakfast buffet and stunning views. Many of our guests traveled from afar and were able to make a beautiful vacation out of their trip. We feel incredibly blessed to have celebrated our wedding at the Grand Geneva and to have worked with Haley, who truly made our day unforgettable and was our biggest supporter throughout the planning process (the BEST teammate you could ask for). For couples seeking a venue with beautiful grounds, exceptional service, and a comprehensive planning process, we wholeheartedly recommend Grand Geneva Resort & Spa.

The food was phenomenal, and to top it all off, there was a stunning firework show the night of our wedding — truly magical. My coordinator, Jess, was a dream to work with. She genuinely cared about every detail, which meant the world to me. As a wheelchair user, I also want to highlight how thoughtful and accessible the Grand Geneva was throughout the entire experience. They went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. We also stayed for our honeymoon, and the Grand Geneva continued to exceed every expectation. Our hotel room was absolutely stunning — spacious, luxurious, and perfect for relaxing after such a special day. We were treated with so much care and had the time of our lives. I would recommend the Grand Geneva to anyone without hesitation. 100/10 stars! Thank you, GG!!

hing. Michele was instrumental in making sure our special day was just the way we wanted. Then, our final coordinator, Alyssa, really helped bring our vision to life. The hotel staff was very friendly to us and all of our guests. The property is absolutely gorgeous and so well maintained that our guests were in awe. Even our guests from Germany promised to come back to the Grand one day. This resort and spa had everything we needed. From golf to pool side service to spa treatments, it was everything our guests were looking for in a weekend getaway. The feel at the grand is luxurious but not stuffy which is what we wanted in a venue. The entire resort felt like us which was the most important. While everything was wonderful, a few things didn’t go as planned. Specifically, the welcome bags. The hotel charges $3 per bag to hand to guests, or free if left at the hotel concierge desk. We thought $3 per bag was outrageous, especially since we had 70+ room reservations so we chose the free option. However, at the end of Friday night, we saw other hotel bar patrons (not involved in the wedding) take our welcome bag for themselves. While we expected some of that, the same patrons proceed to hand the remaining bags (5) to the bar tendering staff. The bar tending staff did not refuse, but accepted the bags. I thought that was absolutely unacceptable. Then on Saturday when majority of our guests were checking in, there were no bags left. When we talked to Alyssa about the problem, there was nothing she could do. Even mentioned that they charge $3 per bag just because other hotels do. While in the scheme of things, the welcome bags are small, it was money spent that did not get into the right hands. My final word of caution would be payment. Please read your BEOs (banquet event orders) carefully. This is where they detail pricing. They were NEVER correct. We had to go back and forth multiple times. We ended up saving over $3,000 just by reviewing and pointing out their errors. This is probably a word of caution with all wedding planning but I only had issues with it here. All in all, it was a great wedding venue. The wedding day was amazing and our guests loved the resort. A true win-win!
