They made sure everything went so smoothly. Not to mention the venue was absolutely gorgeous! I loved every second of my wedding. My only gripe would be that there is very little cell service inside the venue, but the employees were able to give us the wifi password at least.

en I first visited. Second, the price per plate was very fair for a Friday night in August. You get sooooo much food included for the basic package. I can’t tell you how many guests came up to us and raved about the limitless cocktail hour spread which included at least 7 hot stations and butler-passed hors d'oeuvres. I did pay extra for the dessert extravaganza which ended up being my favorite part. It made me very happy to hear that guests thought the food was amazing and were blown away. I toured over 5 different venues in central Jersey and the Grand Marquis ended up being the best bang for our buck. As for communication, I have no complaints about my event specialist Samantha. She answered all questions in a timely manner and was very helpful during our final walkthrough meeting. What I didn’t realize is that I would only see her once on the day of the wedding. On the day of the event, I only really communicated and spent time with the maître d (Elvis) and my bridal attendant (Gianna). They were absolute rockstars and ran the whole show, helping to keep everyone on schedule and assisting my family to pack away the decor at the end of the night. Lastly, I was concerned about the fact that 2 weddings would be occurring at the same time. I worried that guests would get lost or there would be chaos in the lobby. Thankfully this was not the case - the venue staff worked together like a well oiled machine, I saw them communicating frequently through their earpieces and making sure that the 2 events stayed separate. I didn’t even notice the other wedding that was going on, and they had lobby attendants to help direct guests.

She tended to my every need on my wedding day, from calming my nerves, to putting my tiara on, to even sewing in the straps on my dress !!! She was spectacular! Elvis was a true professional and made our event go so smooth ! I am so thankful I chose this beautiful venue. People could not stop talking about the beauty and the amount of food we had ! However, the owner's response left much to be desired, as they offered minimal assistance to the us as the host and neglected post-event mitigation efforts. Though it's never easy to share negative feedback, it's imperative to warn others considering The Grand Marquis for their events. The lack of professionalism and empathy displayed during our ordeal overshadowed what should have been a joyful celebration, leaving us with a regrettable and unforgettable experience.

The host, who got bedraggled by The Grand Marquis, was left in a difficult situation as the owner refused to provide any decent form of compensation or credit for the time lost due to the theft. It was clear that profit took precedence over customer satisfaction, leaving us all feeling betrayed. During the chaos of the theft incident, while the valet team tried to assist, the owner was conspicuously absent. Furthermore, the maitre'd or event manager, who should have been our pillar of support, abandoned us shortly after the incident, leaving us to fend for ourselves as we tried to find transportation home. The lack of empathy and support from The Grand Marquis throughout the ordeal, coupled with their refusal to take responsibility, was deeply disappointing. The premature end to the event shattered what should have been a joyous occasion for the host and all attendees. I urge anyone considering booking The Grand Marquis Catering Hall for their special event to think twice. Their disregard for customer satisfaction and inability to handle crisis reflect poorly on their professionalism and integrity. Spare yourself the disappointment and seek out a venue that values its guests and strives to provide a positive, memorable experience.

Through out the wedding planning process, many things I was worried, but Sydney (our event specialist) she just know how to handle everything and bride like me lol. She answered all my questions, and whatever I requested, her answer was always "Yes/ of course/ Easy!/That shouldn't be a problem/ yeah!". Haha she is an angel. The venue is elegant , the Dome Room is just stunning! the staff is friendly and super helpful , the manager is very professional, even the food is amazing! My guests just can't stop complimenting about the meals! The pricing they offer is very very reasonable. Many important decisions we made throughout the wedding process, Grand Marquis was my best decision!

Super accommodating and outstanding professionals. The highlight of my night was everyone helping to bustle my dress while Carolyn and Jessica helped me get to eat the cocktail hour food! Carolyn is especially the GOAT - she was great to work with, managed my large family well, and I was able to communicate any last minute onsite changes with her. Our guests were raving about how beautiful the venue is. But especially, they were raving about the food and the "grand imperial cocktail hour spread". Lastly, I am so very thankful for Jess our event specialist. We could not have had the best day of our lives without her help organizing this. Thank you again for everything. They were super easy to work with while planning. The day of we had Carolyn as our maitre’d and Naya for our bridal attendant. Naya was so helpful and bustled my dress and was always there to help. Carolyn was PHENOMENAL! She truly helped bring our vision to life and was by our sides the entire day/night making sure everything was perfect. It all turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Our guests absolutely raved about all of the food. There were so many options and the desserts were just out of this world. I wish we could relive this night over and over!

because venue had an event prior. Guests from prior event still had access to bridal suites even thought their event was over. It was very awkward having strangers open doors when we were getting dressed looking for their belongings that had already been moved. DJ had technical difficulties and ceremony started 30min late. We didn’t get nearly as many photos as we wanted because parents were supposed to meet in bridal suite after ceremony but some how made it to cocktail hour. Scotch was to not be served to my father but a female bartender broke under pressure and served him 3 drinks even though a male bartender was denying guest any dark liquor (Miscommunication). My father got very drunk and almost did not make it to the father daughter dance. We didn’t use some of the decorations that were purchased outside out of florist because florist and venue were not responsible (Hire a decorator or wedding planner). We heard from guest that the dinner was great but the steak was not a favorite. I also lost detachable sleeves to my wedding dress (make sure your organized and have people in place to grab your belongings after the event). We rented a super car for our getaway vehicle. When my fiancé arrived at the venue the guys at the valet parking told him it was $20 for VIP parking to keep the car in the front. Not thinking anything of it, he paid. Later when a manger heard of this, he explained this was not true and returned the money to him. The venue needs better communication. One person says one thing, and the next, something different. It was disorganized and chaotic but we are told this is the norm. We booked two years ago and had three different event coordinators over that time. Things got confusing and lost between the transitions but it was overall a great wedding and beside those little hick-ups that do not matter at the end of the day, we loved everything. Thank you to Sydney who made all of our requests happen with the short time she had helping us plan our special day!

I had a complete meltdown 30 seconds before I was supposed to walk down the aisle and she was there to calm down and dab my tears(without messing up my makeup night I add lol) I can’t thank her enough for everything! I can go on about her and the rest of the staff for days, but let’s get into the food!! I had a rather large bridal party and the bridal attendant was nice enough ti bring food down to the suite for us to eat before the ceremony which was amazing! I myself barely ate at cocktail hour lol but what I did have was bomb! I’m Caribbean’s and I really wanted food from my culture to be served and they freaking nailed it! From jerk and curry chicken to large oxtails everyone was in heaven!! And don’t get me started and the braised short rib, I wana come back just to order that to go for dinner lol. My wedding was a month ago and ppl are still raving about the food and dessert extravaganza. The only thing I really wish would have been different was that I could keep the bar in the cocktail hour room open during the reception because my family likes to drink and only having the one bar open made the line long so the dance floor would feel empty at times while everyone was in line. Other than that I can’t complain I literally had a ball and would love to relive it every day. Would 100% recommend this venue to anyone of my family, friends, or clients!

Everyone that attended cannot stop raving about the food especially cocktail hour and dessert. I forever will be eternally grateful for this staff and I will NEVER forget it.
