Grand Oaks is a rustic wedding venue located in Spring, Texas. Located on six acres of flourishing land, this intimate setting is surrounded by lush woodlands and manicured lawns, ideal for outdoor celebrations. You can also choose the Chapel, the crown jewel, to hold your perfect celebration. The elegant ballroom, attentive staff and all-inclusive services can be carefully designed to match your ideal nuptial vision.
Grand Oaks is situated in a quiet suburb that’s just a 30-minute drive from downtown Houston. This private estate is ideal for couples that want to exchange their vows away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You will be welcome to host your ceremony in the spacious chapel, which features delicate chandeliers and large windows for a beautifully-lit event. Glass french doors open to the extensive aisle, which leads to an elevated altar where all your guests can watch you become newlyweds. You can then enjoy your reception inside the elegant ballroom with a versatile floor plan and minimalist decor for you to create your dream theme. Mature trees, white picket fences and paved walkways are featured throughout the outdoor space, and provide a breathtaking backdrop for photo sessions and cocktail hours. Luxurious dressing suites are available onsite with plenty of lounge furniture and country-style decor to make you feel right at home.
You will have the option for all-inclusive packages to make your planning process as stress-free as possible. The team at Grand Oaks includes an experienced event coordinator, catering staff and skilled servers to accommodate your needs. Tables, chairs, linens and various pieces of decor are available and can be arranged into any formation you prefer. Ample parking is available on the property and attendants will be available to assist your arriving guests. The onsite team will handle setup and cleanup while you create new memories with your loved ones.

The venue is under new ownership
And Grace is their wedding planner and seems to be in charge of everything while being part time all vendors and money as well aa decorations across venue went thru her. This seemed fine at the beginning of summmer when they were rennovating, But as they started hosting weddings in the fall and her job as elementary School teacher took up her time- my concerns grew. Mainly - she relies more on her memory than notes. She Does not seem to have an assistant or support on the business side.
Meeting with her could only happen weekends around her family schedule
She was not available during week but I did get phone call from her during school recess. Her 6 year Old Niece Was
Always with and she was constantly disrespecting her and interrupting. She insisted we Work with her caterer and we set a menu with him in July for November wedsing . In September before finalizing menu we decided to make changes to accommodate Some guest’s diets. We also wanted to change flavor of bride cake from apple to almond. There was some discord over pricing as we were working thru things. Since he worked for Grand Oaks he insisted all changes had to work thru Grace. We finalized menu thru Grace but I don’t think she read paperwork because she was Unaware that the caterer was Providing our cakes and she tried canceling the cakes and force us to Come from out of town on Thursday before our Saturday wedding to sample and reorder Cakes from another vendo . This conversation happened when she was on a school playground not in office. She should have seen the catering plan and reviewed it months before since we were paying him thru her. Personally I think a full time employee should have handled this. Two weeks beforewedding I spent half a day working thru table decorations with her since she wanted to make changes-like using gold table clothes . She insisted that I did not tell Her we were working with a Florist and then she found a sticky note reminder. . We brought our own DJ and I am not Sure what happened but there was no music when I went down the aisle . An hour before wedding she was asking bridesmaids when we were starting and when procession begins. We organized a video to project on loop before Procession and discussed with her at The rehearsal. The video was never set up although screen was there. So during the ceremony we had music except
For when I was walking down the aisle. At the end of ceremony we had musicians meet our guest outside church to lead the party to happy hour. They also did not get instruction about timing. The wedding cake was not the cake I tried to order. All billing was handled thru Zelle and not by Business office. We paid some Parts in cash as requested. For a final bill several times about a Month before wedding and only got it the day before.. We had wonderful event and everyone has fun. However given the money we spent I would have preferred more Professionalism. think Grace can grow into this job over Time but the business needs more active Management. I never interacted with anyone else. The management never checked in with us before or after wedding or helped with handling vendors.

I absolutely love this venue! The staff is amazing and the grounds are absolutely breath taking. Such a beautiful place, our wedding was perfect, I couldn’t have asked for an easier process. We had our ceremony in the chapel and it was beautiful, so much character! All of our guests had a blast!

Hidden Gem! We used Grand Oaks as our wedding venue in December (2021) and we loved it. Nancy was our coordinator and she was very sweet, helpful, and made sure we were taken care of! The venue itself was not only affordable for our budget, but it was beautiful, quaint, and had everything we needed/wished for. We are very happy to have used Grand Oaks and Nancy!

eck out Grand Oaks in Spring. Even though I didnt go with them, Mrs. Nancy there made me feel like i didnt have anything to worry about. You hear of all-inclusive venues, but this is the first one that really was all-inclusive! Flowers, cake, decor, catering, planning, LITERALLY ALL-INCLUSIVE!

Shady Oaks is Phenomenal!!!They were able to incorporate all my wishes in 10 days. Lynne is a God send, can decorate like you would not believe, was patient and treated us like family every step of the way. The people she works with are like none I have ever experienced, so genuine-good people. Thank you Lynne and staff for making our day better than our wildest dreams!

The outdoor areas within this property are beautiful. I had some lighting issues with some of the buildings but overall I loved photographing within this venue!

I could not have been happier with Shady Oaks as my wedding venue!
I would absolutely recommend them if you are open to a mostly inclusive venue. I did not want to have to shop around for every single vendor, and I needed somewhere that would have options without being overwhelming. I first looked at Shady Oaks because 1) they were in my price range, and 2) they offered an indoor and outdoor option. When we visited the venue and met with one of the coordinators, Nancy, we were hooked!
I had always dreamed of an outdoor wedding, but I knew I had to have a plan for bad weather. I loved the gazebo option at Shady Oaks. It was beautiful! In case of bad weather, though, they have a sweet chapel that would have made a great second choice (at no extra charge!). Their package included the ceremony and reception site, catering, the DJ, cake, a coordinator, security, staff, officiant, and decor. All I brought in was alcohol, a photographer, and any additional flowers and decor.
I was fortunate enough to be able to work with both Nancy and Lynne, and I couldn't have been more pleased with both of them! They went above and beyond to help me figure out my day. They were always available when I had questions. The day of, I was able to let go and enjoy, while they kept things running smoothly.
We were able to have our ceremony in the gazebo. I opted in to use their horse and carriage option. What a magical entrance!
Our DJ, Paul, did everything to keep the crowd dancing. When he saw that our crowd was more moved to dance with certain songs, he made sure to include more of them that we didn't initially plan on. I absolutely appreciated his knowledge and ability to make small adjustments, while not going the completely other direction!
Our cake was AMAZING!! We loved how it looked and tasted.
The food was delicious! We had BBQ brisket and chicken. Our guests enjoyed their taste of Texas.
Overall, we were so happy with how our wedding was. The planning process was easy for me, mostly because Shady Oaks and it's staff handled so many of the details. All I had to do was make the decisions, and they made it happen! Our guests raved about the beautiful venue, fun evening, and great time they had.

Control freaks beware.........this place is awesome!! Staff were amazing to work with (in particular our wedding coordinator Lynne) and helped to produce my daughters' "dream come true wedding". They handled third party incidents with speed and professionalism and treated us like family that truly mattered. I cannot praise them more and would highly recommend Shady Oaks to anyone, for any occasion. The landscape was gorgeous and the options were available to satisfy even the pickiest of folks. Thank you for ensuring my daughter and son-in-law will have joyful memories to last a lifetime and then some.

Lynne at Shady Oaks was truly amazing. She answered all of our many questions leading up to our big day and Nancy, even though not our personal coordinator, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed the planning process with both ladies. We saw our vision come alive and we know it was a lot of hard work. We enjoyed becoming husband and wife while spending time with our guests, as they handled the stress of all the details! Even a few hiccups, that could have made any bride and groom have a meltdown! They jumped right into action on how to solve the problem all while keeping us calm. It all worked out even more perfect than we could have planned. We are very thankful for them and their staff, all of our guests raved about how wonderful everything looked and what a fun time they had. Thank you so much Lynne and Nancy for not only making our dream wedding a reality, but for being such wonderful people and making the planning process a breeze!

I really am glad I chose to have my wedding here. It has an adorable chapel in the back that looked great in photos. Nancy, our wedding coordinator, was beyond helpful. The reception was a blast, and we are still receiving compliments! We liked how everything was included in the package as well.Cake and food was great! Very pleased with how everything turned out!

Nancy was my wedding coordinator and she was the best. She was very helpful and gave us the best wedding ever. The place is beautiful, clean, and just the right size for 250 guests. Everything was just amazing!

"Shady Oaks is great if you want a budget-friendly, country, quaint, beautiful wedding. I loved the venue and that they offered a cake and punch package(great way to cut costs). All of my friends loved the cute white chapel and the grounds are gorgeous. The space is great-I loved the head table and the designated dance floor in the center of the reception hall.
My mom and I brought it tons of our own DIY decor and Nancy did a great job catching our vision and executing it. I was really impressed with their flexibility and willingness to work with what I wanted.
Nancy was an excellent coordinator, she always responded to every e-mail and provided great information and ideas.
A great place to get married-I would recommend it to any bride looking for a pinterest-worthy wedding : )"

Shady oaks was the perfect place for our big day! We even had a potentially disasterous last minute change of scenery.. Literally! It was horribly windy on our big day, so Nancy, our coordinator, very gently broke the news to me that I would maybe want to consider moving it inside to their "country chapel," from where ours was planned in their "outdoor cathedral." It ended up being a perfect decision, and the whole staff did an awesome job helping us get ready! The decorations were perfect, our coordinator was the BEST,and the food was great! It was the most memorable night of my life and I will never be able to thank Shady Oaks enough! All in all, it was perfect. We only had one complaint, which was we felt our DJ wasn't very prepared. He was wrong on a few nams, but none of it was anything that would affect our night overall. We don't think anyone even noticed. Thank you Shady Oaks!!

Overall, the wedding venue was very nice. I chose this venue because of the chapel and the winding road entry. I do wish the reception site was carpeted with a wood dance floor, but it was decorated very nice.
Nancy (my wedding coordinator through the venue) was very patient even though she spoke with - on numerous occasions- with not only myself, but my mother and mother-in-law.
The price seemed a bit high, but I assume that is because it is all inclusive.
However, I was not impressed with the DJ. About a week before the wedding my husband received an email from him saying he lost our form that he had filled out when we met him that had all of our information on it (first dances, anniversary dance songs, last dance) and then about 2 days later he wrote again saying he couldn't find the music my husband had given him (since we like Texas Country) and asked if we could bring it on a flash drive to the wedding. Also, somehow our first dance skipped...even though he uses a laptop...I was not impressed. And he played very slow music at first that made people want to fall asleep, but after we asked him to pick it up a notch, the night went very well.

Nancy at Shady Oaks was fabulous. She helped me with all of the little details and kept me on track for all I needed to get done. She and Lynn were so sweet and very encouraging. The wedding and reception were everything I dreamed of. The DJ and the bakery that were part of the package did a great job as well. I cannot thank them enough for their help and support.
