booked the venue, which was still under construction at the time, we knew we made the right choice. The flexibility with vendors and liquor packages was a huge selling point, and we were able to secure an amazing deal that worked perfectly for us.
Kristi and the entire team were outstanding throughout the planning process. Kristi was an absolute pleasure to work with—so kind, responsive, and always willing to meet with us to ensure everything was on track. Her prompt communication and attention to detail made the planning process seamless, and we were so thankful to have her as our event manager. The team did everything in their power to make sure we were comfortable and that every aspect of the day was executed perfectly.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The beautiful chandeliers lit up the room and created a magical atmosphere, and the entire space—inside and out—was spotless and well-maintained. We received countless compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was, and we couldn't agree more! The day-of staff was incredibly professional and friendly, and the bar team made our signature drinks with ease. Our guests are still raving about how delicious they were!
We were also so grateful for the extra kindness and flexibility the team showed us when we were allowed to take our bridal portraits on-site. Even when we went over the allotted time, they were so accommodating and understanding, making sure we had everything we needed to capture those precious moments.
Overall, we can’t recommend Grand Pines Reserve enough. The staff, location, and flexibility were all A+ and made our wedding day truly unforgettable and a dream come true!

plus to allow us to bring in our own liquor in addition to the vendor flexibility of catering and dessert. Kristi left mid-planning, but Julianna and the rest of the GPR team got us across the finish line without a hitch. Venue was perfect for the grooms, and the brides suite was great (but we did have to bring in our own couch to get the seating we needed). The venue might benefit from some increased signage, and seating in bridal suite. We had people stay in the Woodlands, Lake Conroe, and locally to the venue and everyone had a great time. e craziness of planning a wedding and super flexible with bridals, tours, etc.. my husband and I toured over 20 venues and Grand Pines was the only venue who took their time with us and we felt important and special. d helpful in providing answers to my questions and suggestions of what has worked for previous brides. While we didn't use the coordination package, the GPR team had some wonderful vendor recommendations that we heavily leaned on, which was very helpful! On the day of the wedding, Kristi and her team were amazing. We got there a just a little early and she welcomed us in with open arms to get started setting up.
The actual facility is absolutely stunning! The chapel is gorgeous with beautiful pews and stunning large windows front and center. The chandeliers add such an elegant feel to the space! On the day of the wedding, it was a little chilly outside, but they had some great heaters that made the breezeway comfortable for guests. One of the most unique parts of the venue is the bar. The one bar is accessible during the cocktail hour AND during the reception, rather than having two separate bars or having to pay for an additional bar set up during cocktail hour. I also love how the bar is separate from the reception space, so anyone looking to get a drink doesn't crowd the reception space. Everything about the venue was perfect for our marriage, and we are so thankful for the Grand Pines Reserve team for helping with our special day! Wonderful venue!

Grand Pines Reserve made our night a perfect night because they fully supported our Polish Traditions which meant a lot to our families attending. They allowed us to stay late which let everyone truly enjoy the night. They also are dog-friendly and let our dog be part of our ceremony.

Kristi and her team could not have been more helpful, transparent, professional, and flexible through the entire process. She goes out of her way to ensure her brides have all the information they need, and no question goes unanswered. I personally felt like I asked a million detailed questions throughout my planning process, and Kristi was always patient responsive, and understanding. Did I mention she usually gets back to you within 24 hours (most of the time quicker)? That’s pretty impressive.
We selected GPR because of the location, the church pews in the chapel, the HUGE reception space with incredible chandeliers, the flexibility to bring in vendors of our choosing (minus alcohol which we were perfectly fine with), and, honestly, because Kristi made us feel very comfortable, and like we had known her for a long time. We specifically wanted a venue that was stunning in every way, so we did not have to spend a ton of money on decorations, and GPR did NOT disappoint!
The day of staff were also just as incredible! Shannon helped execute the most magical day easing all my worries and day of “to-dos”. From the bar staff to the clean-up crew, we truly could not have asked for a better day.
I also took my bridal portraits on a separate day, and Kristi was so kind to me as I worked through getting them scheduled since I live in Austin, TX.
Overall, I cannot recommend GPR enough! Everything about this place is unforgettable, and they will genuinely work hard to make your wedding day an absolute dream come true.

final outdoor space does not look ANYTHING like the 3D rendered images. They still currently have the image as Facebook header of a space that their venue doesn't look like! I get small changes throughout construction, and they did have a lot of changes I did complain about (One big one; is the windows in the reception area, was supposed to open like a large garage door, that did not happen). But I do not understand the space looking nothing like the design. I was IN LOVE with the outdoor ceremony design. The finish space is just not pretty. I was so excited, and I am honestly no longer looking forward this day. Feel like I am stuck with a space I do not like, or lose the money I already invested. Kristi was very polite to work with, and they did allow me to push my date back after I booked because I needed a major surgery. But it does not change the fact that I booked based on the image I was shown and that the space does NOT look like that. Very frustrating and I will NEVER book anything during construction again.

e visited the first time. The venue is absolutely beautiful and it had everything we were looking for. Kristi was kind, professional, and communicative through every step in the process of planning the wedding. She has been in the business for a long time so she knows what she's doing. They thought of everything when they built this venue and everyone at our wedding couldn't stop talking about how much they liked the venue. I was delighted to have a choice between using an outdoor or indoor ceremony site. It was hard to find a venue with that option for a reasonable price. They also made things easier by providing a bar package so we didn't have to worry about the alcohol for our guests. I'm honored that we were their third wedding since opening and I would recommend it to couples looking for something chic, modern, and a little rustic.
