We decided to have our 25th Vow Renewal at the exact same location where we were married in 2000. It has changed hands a couple of times and has added improvements over the years, but we were super happy with our event and the Grand Rose Events Venue. Amy Patterson was very easy to work with and had a ton of great suggestions that helped to make our event perfect. She also easily flexed as our event changed over the planning process (e.g., we initially just reserved the hall, but then added a DJ, a videographer, and a bunch of other extras (e.g., the photo booth was a big hit) as we more clearly figured out what we wanted). Amy was there for every step of the process and helped us to find a great DJ, videographer, caterer, etc. I found the pricing to be very fair, and I never felt like I was being gouged for anything that was added. If I live to be 88 (and my wife makes it to 84), we'll plan to have our 50th Anniversary at the same location. If you have a special event you are planning in the Greater Houston Texas area, my recommendation is that you go to Grand Rose Events. And make sure to listen to Amy's suggestions as she knows how to run great events.
Grand Rose is the perfect venue! We were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and a fantastic indoor reception decorated perfectly to our requests! Teri was amazing in working with us to make everything even better than we imagined! As an all inclusive venue, all of our feedback was taken and we were able to relax and just experience our special day stress free! I hands down highly recommend Grand Rose!!
This review has been a long time coming! My wedding was May 4th of 2019. I was never much of a "planner" or a "dreamer" when it came to the day of my wedding. Teri was very communicative, efficient, and was full of ideas! She made herself available to sit and go over everything they had to offer, as well as called me to confirm/keep me updated on things. Her and her team took care of absolutely everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, leading up to and on the day of our wedding. The décor was breathtaking, the donut wall such a treat! It is a treasure to have the opportunity to sit back and relax the day of your wedding; she was on top of it, from deliveries, to the set up, to making sure everything was running smoothly. I hear a lot of brides don't get to enjoy their wedding day, but it was a very different experience for my husband and I. For example, Teri made sure we got to sit down and actually enjoy the food we paid for (I was prepared not to eat). I highly recommend using Grand Rose Events! You will pay 1/5 of the cost of what you would pay at any other all inclusive venue. 100% worth the value. I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else, or coordinated by anyone else! We couldn't have asked for any better service surrounding our daughter's wedding. Grand Rose provided everything we asked for and more. We were hoping for a stress free evening where everything was taken care of for us, and Grand Rose delivered just that. Teri, the event manager at Grand Rose, was extremely helpful and great to work with throughout the planning process. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure we were happy. I usually don't write reviews because often times I have doubts when reading reviews that seem overly positive, but I was so pleased after the wedding that I actually asked for a link to be sent to me so that I could provide a review. There are a number of wedding venues in the same area that could provide a similar service, but I believe the staff make or break the final product, and Teri sure made our evening stress free and fun.
Teri and her staff were AMAZING thorough the whole process.
Being an all inclusive venue took so much of the worry off my daughter's big day.
Even when we forgot the garter, Teri's staff went to the store for us so that we would not miss that very important tradition.

All I can say is WOW! The entire venue was transformed into a Hawaiian luau. The attention to detail was spectacular. Even the food (appetizers, deserts, etc) was themed. The venue was able to accommodate many people, including children. Every thing was clean and comfortable. By far the most amazing event I have seen, everything was perfection.
GRAND ROSE is absolutely stunning!! They completely transformed the venue into the perfect Hawaiian themed luau and underwater adventure by sparing no expense to create decor on a grand scale. Teri was amazing and made my grandmother's special day a dream come true!!

Good value for the money and good for budget
I was a little worried all through the planning of my wedding here. The owner is not a very pleasant person, she had an attitude through everything. You are limited on things you can do. The venue needs a facelift big time. I do have to say that everything on my wedding day turned out fine and that she helped me out with a cake disaster.
We had searched and searched for a place to hold the wedding. I had found Events Etc online via google search. Debra was amazing! She walked us through everything and made sure we had all the paperwork we needed. The price for the venue was very reasonable for us. We had little assistance for paying for the wedding. We had an outside ceremony, and an indoor reception. I LOVE how the outside area looked, and was very excited to have it outdoors. The only thing I did not like was there was no where for the groom or groomsmen to get ready at, and the space for the bride and maids to get ready was a bit cramped for 4 of us. Overall, LOVED this place & staff!
Thoroughly enjoyed my wedding and the coordinator was amazing.
