Somebody wake me up from the dream that was our wedding! We decided to have our ceremony by the oak tree sealed with a kiss and fireworks. It felt like a fairy tale. Our reception was also right here in the same venue. The place looked beyond dreamy, romantic and elegant. The food had excellent quality and flavor. The most tender steak I’ve ever eaten. We picked a naked rum cake after their recommendations which was divine! I wanted it to be an elegant wedding and it exceeded any expectations I had and it was very convenient for us and our guests to have the reception and ceremony at the same venue. Wonderful venue!

I recently hosted my daughter’s quinceañera at Grand Salon Reception Halls & Ballrooms (at Killian Palms), and I can confidently say it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived to the final farewell, the entire team made every aspect of the evening truly unforgettable.
A special shoutout goes to Lourdes, who was absolutely phenomenal! Her attention to detail and unwavering commitment to perfection exceeded all our expectations. Lourdes went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was in place, and she even addressed minor aspects that I had overlooked, making sure everything ran seamlessly. Her dedication and passion for her work were evident, and I am immensely grateful for her support throughout the planning process and on the event day itself.
For our MC, we opted for one of their preferred vendors, Marty, and she was fantastic!
The rest of the banquet hall staff also impressed us with their professionalism and attentiveness. They ensured that all our guest felt comfortable and well taken care of. The venue location, amenities and staff were amazing. The weather was not on our side to start the day, 45 minutes before the wedding the weather broke and the team dried, cleaned and prepped everything to still have an amazing outdoor wedding.

Our wedding was completely what we expected and more. Lourdes was there every step of the way and made things happen for us that turned our vision into a reality. Our guest had a great time and could not stope telling us how beautiful everything was. This location made you feel that you were miles away in a beautiful forest. Absolutely beautiful outdoor space for the ceremony, and the indoor cocktail and reception areas are elegant and luxurious looking. The staff is always available to help, and they’ll do whatever they can to make things work. We used the vendors they recommend, and I was very happy with everything!

This gorgeous venue has a team of professionals that are extremely confident they can turn your most precious requests into reality. From Danny the Captain of the Dining Room to Lourdes our wedding planner/day of coordinator to the Owner Orlando who brings years of experience to the process, the team makes your dreams come true! The chef makes the meals to perfection. The ceremony Oak Tree and Gazebo space are stunning. The Grand Salon is an exquisite venue. My wedding had 175 guests and they are all praising the attention to detail and amazing service. We are still in awe and amazement.

Just had our wedding here a few days ago, and I’m beyond happy with the results all because of Lourdes. Not only did she help with the set up of our all personal decor, but she made me feel at ease in days leading up to the wedding. She was there the whole time, to guide us and make sure everything went perfect. I honestly don’t know what we would of done without her. Beautiful venue, I definitely recommend you do your wedding here! You won’t regret it! And make sure to ask for Lourdes!

Due to the pandemic, our wedding had to be postponed on March 2020. We were giving the opportunity to re-scheduled at our own time.
My husband and I were blessed to have our wedding day this past Sunday. The first words that come to my mind are "gratitude and magical experience." If we could, we would relive that moment over again.
I must admit that planning the wedding on my own threw me into a very stressful path, having a wedding planner a week before helped me recover a little from the stress that had built up, I truly wish I would have had one sooner. For that, I thank Belinda from pocketbookweddings, as she worked with me and the venue into last minute details.

I WOULD NOT recommend this salon to anyone who is planning a wedding. If you are looking for a venue that offers a DAY-OF coordinator, this is NOT the place. They will tell you that they do offer a wedding coordinator, but in fact that is a LIE. My husband and I just recently had our wedding there and up until the reception, the wedding was a shit show due to lack of assistance and guidance from our "wedding coordinator." I had stressed to the coordinator for months, the importance of starting the ceremony on time.
From the moment I arrived to the venue to the moment we started the ceremony, 20 mins had lapsed and yet the ceremony hadn't started. Our court stood in the lobby for 20minutes with no instruction on what to do. I had to tell my mother multiple times to go to the lobby to see what the hell was going on and why we were starting so late.
Our hour of photos was a shit how because we had no one helping us to organize the family members we needed for our pictures. As a bride and groom, we did not want to have think of anything other than having fun on the day of our wedding. Instead, we stressed about time and attempted to coordinate our entire wedding.
In addition, our "coordinator" then went on to ask us, right before the reception, if we had chosen a soup or salad as an appetizer for the guests. Imagine our frustration when our "wedding coordinator" didn't even remember a simple detail of our wedding even though, it had been discussed in MULTIPLE EMAILS days before the wedding. She even missed simple decor details that again has been discussed THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING.
The venue states that "on the day of the event, the main priority of the coordinator, is to oversee all the event details and to remove stress from the bride and groom" This venue FAILED on all counts to alleviate any stress from us and help us through the most important day of our lives. Again, I would NEVER recommend this salon to ANYONE!

The extent of your comments has truly taken us by surprise, especially after the positive comments regarding the outcome of your event. You mentioned the food was fantastic, the bar was great, the service was spectacular and that you and your guests had a great time during the reception. At least as far as the reception goes, you told us there was nothing to complain about!
Your discomfort was during the ceremony as there was a misunderstanding regarding the responsibilities of our in-venue event coordinator.
The venue event coordinators have their duties very well stablished and the premise of their work is to eliminate as much stress associated with the event as possible. They are the first contact the clients have during the planning process and the familiar face you are eager to see the day of your event.
During the planning period, they are responsible for paying attention to all of your concerns and requests, and reply to your questions either by phone, email or in person. They are the ones bringing your dream event to life by working together and understanding your vision. The event coordinator works with your budget to make you get more for the money you spend. Their experience with the venue logistics makes our work with outside vendors easy and secure.
The event coordinator will place all the orders for your event including food and appetizers, cake, flowers, DJ, linen, chairs, photo booth, dessert station among other, but these are some services associated with your event in particular. They go above and beyond to get good deals for our clients as in your case, where the event coordinator was able get your chiavary chairs without a delivery or set up fee as well as manage the 39 chairs for free. They also participate in the weekly meeting to discuss the the specifications of your event with the staff.
The day of the event, as simple as they make things look, they will be running back and forth overseeing the whole event’s operation. They will be talking to the preparation area personal, the staff, the DJ and the MC, Officiant etc. making sure that all the services are running as planned and trying to gain as much time as possible so that you and your guests have more time to enjoy. They will be the one that eases your stress and is ready to comfort you when you feel overwhelmed. During the ceremony they might even step outside of their responsibilities in trying to assist your officiant or MC to line up the court in order to offer more help, and before your big moment walking down the aisle, they will be there to assure you and accommodate your bouquet and veil.
The event coordinator will also be there for the reception and only leaves just after the cutting of the cake. Your event coordinator did all of the above and more! Our staff saw her eagerly and thoroughly work toward your event week after week and especially the day of.
Having said that, we were very pleased to hear you and your husband talking highly of the event coordinator’s job during the planning process as you said she was always willing to assist you and she was on top of all your requests and questions. This is partly why we are so surprised by the turn of events. We have talked about the concerns you discussed in your review at length both, in person and through email, and we have made sure to correct the mistake on our end. But, again, the main concern was the misunderstanding of having a “day-of-event coordinator.” We understand that you may have felt frustrated the day of your event , but having a coordinator next to you at all times that is able to help you and your guests pose for pictures would have required that you hire a personal day-of coordinator. Our staff prioritizes the integrity of the event as a whole in order to ensure it’s success.
Again, thank you for considering us and we will hold on to your great remarks of the outcome of your event. Rest assured, we will also take your critiques into consideration as we strive daily to provide higher quality work with each event we get to be a part of. We hope that you and your guests will cherish the good memories from this event forever.

My wedding was a dream come true thanks to the amazing Shayla, Lia and the entire staff at Grand Salon. Wedding planning for my husband and I began in April and we never felt loss. We always had someone answering the phone and the emails promptly and offering alternatives to ensure our vision came to life. Along the way, we switched venues 3 times and the management team at Grand Salon was nothing but exceptional and accommodating to my family and I. We had a lot of hiccups along the way including getting Covid 3 days prior to the event and finding out we were expecting all at once, and right there, when we thought everything was lost, Shayla and Grand Salon were there to support us unconditionally. I never in my wildest dreams expected the support my husband and I received from them and having our special day with them was the best thing that happened to us. We never felt pressured to add extras, we never felt like we were a bother, we honestly felt a genuine connection and Shayla was God sent for us. As you can imagine our wedding was a dream come true and more thanks to the amazing team at Grand Salon. I wish you all continued success so you can continue to support brides like me in making their dreams a reality.

Had my daughter's Quinceanera on 12/3/21 at the Ballroom of Killian Palms Country Club. It was a year long process. I have never encountered such professionalism and guidance in my life during a event. Absolutely was a magical day from start to finish. All details executed flawlessly. Not one thing was out of place. All the vendors did their part tying it all together. My daughter's first look at the venue was priceless. We just got married at the Grand Salon at Killian Palms Country Club and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went! First, the venue coordinators, Lia and Shayla, were the best to work with – they were easygoing and professional from the start, and made us and our whole crew feel very welcome. They were also very quick to respond. You couldn’t ask for such amazing ladies to work with and anyone who has planned a wedding knows you have a LOT of contact with your venue prior to the event. All our expectations were met and then some. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they recommend to you.The venue is a great location and has plenty of parking. It was so beautiful for our outdoor wedding, and then an easy transition to the indoor reception. The indoors is great for dining and dancing. The price is very affordable and I appreciate how accommodating they were to some of my requests. The photo opportunities are plentiful to get amazing shots with a lot of different backgrounds. On the day of our wedding, Lia was amazing and so helpful the entire time making sure my dream wedding came to life. Lia, very quickly, became like part of the family and jumped in when we needed any help throughout our wedding. All and all, my husband and I were very happy with this venue and we recommend it to all of our engaged friends.

I have had many events here including my wedding but when it came to having my son’s 1st Birthday Party here last month…Utterly disappointed. Planning went well but the day of was a shocker. The air conditioning was not working properly and I was ignored numerous times by an employee. After the event I was sent videos of the room while being decorated. While watching the videos, I heard a staff planner referring to me as a “B-TCH” numerous times. I was also advised that she had taken treats that were prepared for my guests after being told not to more than once.
Once this was bought to the owner’s attention, I was just advised the member was disciplined but essentially thanks for your $ but we won’t be refunding anything for the bad service. This event was not a small event nor has any other event I have thrown there. I can no longer recommend this venue to anyone else while they still employ this individual & refuse to do right by a repeat customer.

d that this is your opinion, but we would like to provide some further clarity regarding some of your claims.
After receiving your complaints, we made sure to conduct an investigation so that we could get to the bottom of the alleged misconduct. The following information was found:
· The employee was not referring to you when she used inappropriate language. It was a colloquial conversation between two employees. This situation was severely taken out of context. However, we understand that this does not excuse the use of that language since it is not appropriate in any setting and may lead to misunderstandings such as this one.
· In reference to the ‘stollen treats’: One damaged cookie was taken by our event coordinator, Shayla, from the dessert table to throw away as it broke apart when it accidentally fell on the floor during setup. The second cookie that also fell was left on the table to be put back as it was not damaged. Additionally, further confusion may have arisen since the cake vendor, brought some treats for both of our Coordinators, Lia and Shayla, in appreciation. These treats were extras that had been leftover from her preparation for your event, and therefore, had the same decoration. This is common for the cake vendor to do.
· The air conditioning was not at all broken or malfunctioning on the day of your event. It is unfortunate that you feel Shayla was dismissive of your concerns, however, once our manager was made aware, he checked all four air conditioning units that we have in the Ballroom and all were working properly. To ensure that this was the case, the on-call technician was contacted, and he was able to corroborate that they were all working fine.
The only explanation for this situation is that your outside vendors left the doors wide open while bringing all the decorations into the room. The process of the vendor setup started at 11:00 AM, just 1 hour before the commencement of your event. This is not at all standard procedure as it is nearly impossible for our air conditioning units to recover the temperature in the room in so little time. This is why our units are lowered to event temperature at least 2 hours before the start of any event.
We do not appreciate the warning of a bad review if money is not reimbursed, as giving money back after a situation like this is not part of our business principles, instead, we do use a progressive disciplinary approach to ensure this does not happen again. We value all of our clients and we appreciate their patronage through the years. We certainly understand that you could be disappointed, as are we in a situation like this. As you said, however, we have done business with you for over 7 years, and we have proven our event planning skills and the professionalism that characterizes our work ethic every time before this one.

This venue was outstanding! The friendliest most professional staff to work with. We had many changes due to the pandemic and worked together to make it happen one year later! The service, quality of food and the surroundings and common areas were top notch! But most of all the staff! Shayla felt like a part of the family! The team at Grand Salon Ballroom we’re incredibly helpful and kind through the entire wedding planning process from the bartenders (shoutout to Alex) to the waiters to the cleanup crew and most important, I cannot thank enough my AMAZING Event Producer Lia for making sure everything went smooth and exactly how I wanted it. They responded quickly to emails and were happy to accommodate my requests. Due to COVID19 my food was uncertain for a long time but they MADE IT HAPPEND and we were able to have what we wanted and paid for and let me tell you, paying the upgrade for the food was worth it, the food is FIRE and SO DELICIOUS. I can’t thank them enough for ensuring my day went so smoothly. As for the venue(s), beautiful setting, delicious food, great vendors! The entire event surpassed my expectations. Had a late November wedding on a Saturday night, originally was suppose to be an outside ceremony but the weather had other plans so Lia made sure that everyone quickly moved everything inside so my wedding can continue and came out even better than what I had hoped. The downside was that I didn't get to see the room before it was full of guests and enjoy the small details we worked hard on, but that's what the photos were for. Its a full service venue with preferred vendors you can choose from and the staff is incredibly patient and kind! Lia guided us on selecting everything from the table linen to the plates and accessories . Highly recommend, no pressure into upgrades, they do give suggestions, but ultimately supply you with everything you need in their packages to have an unforgettable wedding. Also, a huge shoutout to the Manager Antonio for also being so involved in all our needs. This is truly the best team and the most amazing venue I have worked with.

What a fiasco! We were so excited to have our wedding here although their were several hiccups along the way. We were told our cocktail hour would be outside and the day of that did not occur and we were told we had to reserve it although we did. Although the food was great, the sides that accompanied the food were not what we were given the day of our food tasting. We were provided a risotto option and were told by multiple wait staff and the day of coordinator it had crab in it, and for religious purposes a majority of our party did not eat. We wrre not told until the end of the food service that it did not have crab (clearly it was to late at that point). Our uplights were not provided and were only turned on after we discussed it with the day of coordinator. The day of coordinator was of no help. He kept trying to rush us through pictures to follow a timeline we never saw and waited on our say so to begin cocktail hour. He didnt even understand what a bustle was and just stood their trying to rush us to bustle the dress. We were given no time to set up table numbers or any last minute details until an hour before the ceremony. Our cake was also switched with the wedding from the day before and although the bride informed several different people no one thought to contact the cake vendor to inform her the cake was incorrect so she would have time to prepare the right one for our wedding. They waited until we saw the cake to say anything which was beyond disappointing. We were hoping someone would call and at least apologize for the things that went wrong but no one has or even followed up to see how everything was. The only positive was the food.

MISREPRESENTATION OF PRICES AND PACKAGES
I have been looking at venues for two months and have consistently spoken with Killian/Grand Salon for a month and a half. Over that time, I traveled approximately two hours each way to visit the venue a total of 4 times - bringing my fiancé, mom and sister on different occasions.
After our first visit I began speaking with the venue staff via email, phone, and in person to iron our details about our wedding. Then, when we finally got the contract sent to us, there were a number of additional charges that they never mentioned previously such as required security, vendor meals, no kids pricing, requiring most of the money for the entire wedding months before the wedding date, not allowing the DJ to speak during the event, and allowing cancellations on their side for any reason. Naturally, we had questions about these additional provisions in the contract but we were able to get answers to the questions and still liked the venue.
Additionally, during these conversations I also indicated my potential wedding dates on multiple occasions. When I inquired about dates the venue staff informed me that one of our potential dates was a premium day (New Years Eve) but never mentioned anything about the other days that we were looking at (1/17/21 and 2/14/21). We were looking at these dates because the venue informed us that there was a discount for Sunday weddings.
We went back this weekend with the intention of signing the contract and securing our date for the venue. When we arrived and met with the event coordinator that we have been working with we started workout out the pricing/payment schedule. It was at that point that I realized she had added an additional $15 per person to the price we had originally received. I pointed it out and noted that was the incorrect price and she then stated, for the first time in over a month or speaking with the venue, that there was a surcharge for that particular Sunday (1/17/21) because there was a holiday that Monday (MLK Day).
I noted that she had never mentioned that surcharge pricing in the past and her reply was that she didn’t tell me about the surcharge because I was interested in multiple dates - mind you two of the three dates I was interested in ended up with this surprise surcharge price.
At this point the manager, Tony, chimed in as he had been sitting in the room the entire time. We again noted the issue with this surprise surcharge and Tony’s solution was simply to pick another date or pay the difference. No apology, no offer to help remedy the clear misrepresentation about the pricing on the dates I was interested in, no nothing. By the end of the conversation Tony essentially told us pay the surcharge or go somewhere else. In fact, the only solution that Tony gave was to get a less expensive package and add multiple additional upgrades.
I am unbelievably disappointed in Killian/Grand Salon business etiquette especially since I was initially so hopeful about the venue and my ability to have a great experience there.
Some people would certainly consider their business practices dishonest - though I would hope that others do not experience the same lack of tact when dealing with this venue.
FYI: If dealing with Tony be prepared because he is hands down the most arrogant and condescending individual I have yet to meet in my wedding preparations and I have been to over 20 venues at this point.

Had an early November wedding on a Sunday in Miami at their killian country club venue in the ballroom. Its a full service venue with preferred vendors you can choose from (shout out to Chaple Photography for the amazing work they did capturing all of the amazing moments! Another shout out to DJ Willy for keepjng the party going and for giving our guests the best experience ever!)and the staff is incrdeibly paitent and kind! They guided us on selecting everything from the table cloth to the lighting of the room.
They were very on top of emails and responding to us. To the point that the few times I had sebt my husband to go in on his own, they sent me an email to recap what they talked about, which is amazing because he didn't remember everything lol.
Only downside...we had an outdoor receptikn planned to get married under their grand oak tree... it is literally a dream guys... but it rained so we had to move it inside. Super missed out on a beautiful evening (night time...daylight savings and all...) but it was a seamless transition from moving everything inside, including our floral arrangements. The downside was that I didn't get to see the room before it was full of guests and enjoy the small details we worked hard on, but thats what the photos were for (shout out again to Chaple Photography for capturing all the small details I missed! So amazing). So be weary of planning an outside weather, here at Grand Salon they had a back upplanned that worked beautifully.
Highly reccomend, no pressure into upgrades, they do give suggestions, but ultimately supply you with everything you need in their packages to have an unforgetable wedding.
Thanks again to the amazing event producers: Lisette being on top of everything, Kat answering all of my ridiculous emails crazy fast, and especially Miriam who made sure everything went as smooth as possible the day of!

The place is amazing. Staff and venue exceed expectations. The venue is so beautiful. My partner and I fell in love with the place. Everything came out like we wanted to be. The staff is there every min of the event and anything you need. They made sure our wedding come out like we wanted to look like and was there in every step until the end of the wedding. we couldn't ask for any better. All our family and friends fell in love with the venue. We will recommend that place for any event and we will come back for future events. I am so happy that my new husband and I chose this venue for our wedding! We were extremely happy with everything! Everyone was very nice and accommodating. We had so much to plan that having 90% of the decisions be laid out perfectly for you to just choose one and they take care of the rest was amazing! The food was amazing, my father-in-law even loved it and he is the pickiest eater I have ever met, will refuse to eat at a restaurant after only one bad plate of food! very impressed that they impressed him with the food! Ballroom was gorgeous and laid out exactly how I wanted and everything was amazing! Best wedding I could have asked for! And they even kept me calm and updated with Hurricane Dorian almost hitting us 4 days before our wedding! They were amazing! Best choice for a venue!!

I had my wedding reception at this location and out of all wedding duties this was by far the most stressful.
I was having a destination wedding in Miami and I lived in Chicago. Their communication was horrible and every time I let them know how upset I was, nothing changed, nobody cared. If I wanted to get things done or get the answer I was looking for I HAD to come in to the office and speak to them face to face. Meaning, I had to make flights to come in. Not one single person attends to you, the emails get responded by whoever sees it first so the back and forth communication gets very confusing and repetitive.
The day of my wedding Lisset was helpful in coordinating everything for the day, especially when my mariachi band did not show up. But when it came time for my cake cutting my cutlery for the cake cutting went missing and I was assured,by Lisset, that their staff were not allowed to take anything from off the tables. So in order to not waste time I went ahead and used one of their cheap plastic sets to take my photos and video. Once the photo and video left for the night that is when my cutlery APPEARED. Apparently the staff took it to the back to "shine" it. Dinner came out extremely late which meant that everyone was sitting around waiting to eat and my dancing time was cut short. The DJ even came up to me and asked me what was happening with dinner. Their excuse was that the toasts took too long, which really has nothing to do with why dinner wasn't ready to be served. If it wasn’t for their help AFTER the wedding and providing security footage for a serious issue, I would have given them a 2.
Overall, I wish they cared more and payed more attention to the clients needs and wants.
The location was great, The food was great, the venue is affordable (love that it comes with all the vendors), the reception hall is super nice but the SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION IS NOT GOOD.
For my desserts/cake: I used Divine Delicacies
Flowers: Glamour Floral Creations
DJ: I didn’t go with their DJ because he had horrible reviews.

We had our dream wedding at the Killian Palms Country Club! Our vision was getting married under a beautiful oak tree and it doesn't get much more beautiful that theirs. From the start, the staff worked with us to help make our rustic wedding vision come to life. We had our wedding here I couldn't be more happy with this ballrooms, staff were extremely friendly answer all question that I had in the entire process , Dj William , Lopez photo studios, Frank Nunez, Glamours floral Creation, Tina Cakes were amazing. I had my wedding at Grand Salon Reception Hall and Ballroom at Killian Country Club. My wedding was on 4/12/19. We used the ballroom and it was my dream wedding! We had 100 guests, and we had the cermoney there aswell. Everything is affordable. I could not have asked for a better night. I loved every minute of it. The venders they have to choose from are great. I used Lopez photography, Devine Delicacies for cake, and Glamor Floral Creations for flowers. Everything was perfect!

This place is absolutely beautiful. We had an oak tree ceremony in the evening and danced the night away in the grand ballroom. The food was amazing and the vendors they offered (photographer, florist, bakery) were really easy to work with. They were also really helpful with all the details and upgrades I added for my event. Very early on on the process of wedding planning we fell in love with the reception halls and ceremony places of Grand Salon reception Hall and even though we live out of state decided to go with them since most of our family and friends live in Miami. Grand Salon event coordinators guided us the entire process and made sure that we had everything we needed to make our wedding day a perfect one. I loved that they provided everything you need in their packages (food, flowers, table set up, cake, security, servers, etc) and all the vendors that they work with and recommended were very professional and did excellent work. Also their packages, for everything they include, are very very very very fairly priced, it was one of the most beautiful venues that we looked at and the only one that didn’t exceed our budget for the things we wanted. The food was absolutely delicious (we did the bourbon glazed chicken, rice pilaf and roasted potatoes) our guest LOOOOOOOVEEED it, there was not a plate that had food left in it. They also provided an open bar for the whole reception time which was also AMAZING, the cocktails and liquor provided were of excellent quality and guests absolutely enjoyed it (we are still hearing about it days after). We had our wedding ceremony at the gazebo and then did the reception at their other location in front of Miami Dade College and it was absolutely stunning, guest had no issue finding both locations and parking was plentiful. Since we live out of state we only went for the tasting and went to pick our flowers and cake on the same visit, they were super responsive to e-mails and phone calls and answered every question we ever had. They also provide an event producer and day off coordinator which will help make sure all of the major decisions are done (who is the florist, who is bringing the cake, etc.) as well as talking with you and seeing what do you want for wedding day to look like in terms of colors, how you want your napkins folded, what color ties you want, basically all the little details. Honestly my husband and I could not be happier with our decision of holding our wedding at Grand Salon. If I could give them 100 out of 5 stars I would, if you are even considering holding your event here please do; you won’t regret it. Theres not one thing I would change about my wedding day and that’s almost entirely due to Grand Salon and their excellent service. Thank you GS for making a wedding day the best day of my life.

We got married under the oak trees, and it was beautiful! The upkeep of the place is excellent, everything was very clean and in very good conditions. People were commenting on how good it smelled as well. We chose the Ciudamar room due to our guest count and the room, though smaller, has its own private bar (which is beautiful) and people kept raving about it. The packages they offered us were great and very well priced considering what you are getting. Each vendor that we chose, we paid additional fees to because the package only covers the basics. (We bought our getting ready photos, bouquets and boutonnieres, plus flowers for the cake). We ended up using an outside vendor for our wedding cake, and it all went smoothly. Our reception was beautiful, the table setups, the flowers, the uplighting, all of it. During our rehearsal, they let us walk around the reception hall so I could point out to my bridesmaids where I wanted things set up for the wedding. A coordinator even walked around with us and offered suggestions and ideas to help our setup be even better. They called me the day before the wedding to confirm what they were removing from the room for us and if I had any other questions. One concern I have is with their system of having event coordinators rotate the events rather than having one assigned to you. I felt like I had to repeat things in emails because I was not sure who would be reading it that day. The day of the wedding went smoothly for the most part. Our ceremony ended earlier than the time set aside, so our happy hour started earlier as well. Our event coordinator told us that our reception would be ending sooner because of this. But then our emcee showed up almost 30 minutes late, so it put our schedule back on regular time. Our dj, hired by the venue, tried to end our reception early several times, which was frustrating because they kept turning the lights on. Overall, we did have a good experience, and our guests are saying that it was the best wedding they have ever attended!

As you mentioned the day of your event everything came out prefect and that shows our system of rotating Event Coordinator works perfectly well. The team of Event Coordinators and our computer system facilitate the sharing of every single detail of each event.
Your Ceremony was scheduled from 5:00pm to 6:00pm and the Reception from 6:00pm to 11:00pm since your Ceremony finished 30 minutes earlier, the Event Coordinator asked you if you would like to move the reception forward since may brides take advantage of this option to avoid their guests waiting for 30 minutes to start the Reception Time. You and your husband gave your consent and your Reception was then moved from 5:30pm to 10:30pm. The Head waiter and The DJ were informed about the change in the event ‘s starting and finishing time. The DJ was just following instructions.

I had my wedding ceremony at their outdoor oak tree space at country club and my reception at the reception hall and it was amazing! I had some trouble towards the end of my wedding planning and had last minute changes and the Grand Salon was their for me and made everything so simple! I am beyond thankful for them and loved my experience.

My Dad's 80th Birthday Celebration was a "HIT"!!
We are very happy that the staff at Ciudamar went above and beyond our expectations to make this special occasion a total success. My family and I, will definitely recommend this location for any type of event. The package we chose was "Budget Friendly", including beautiful flowers, cake, DJ, open bar and more. The location is fancy and cozy, the staff was very friendly and attentive at all times. All in all, my Dad had a great time with family and friends.

I definitely did not feel any of the wedding stress that everyone talks about because I had the friendly, organized, and helpful staff at the Grand Salon who offered unbelievable inclusive packages. The venues were absolutely beautiful and the vendors were amazing. We couldn’t have had a better experience!

I was married on early June 2018, in the Killian Palms Country Club. The up keep of the place is excellent, everything was very clean and in very good conditions. I chose the Cidumar room due to my guest count and the room though smaller has its own private bar (which it beautiful). I first approached Miriam the owner when I was looking at the venues for my wedding. She was a true professional and true to her word. One of my concerns were the curtains in the room, they looked very out dated. I told Miriam and she that they will be changed before my wedding (which she did and they were perfect). They offer you as an option a list of vendors and give you the choice to choose from them. Some are great and some are very unprofessional, I made a comment about it and in order to defend their vendor they started to treat me in differently and send me an email about it. When a client feels a certain way about a situation I believe it should be taken in consideration. I don’t agree with their system of having event coordinators rotate the events rather than having one assigned to you, it causes confusion and disorganization. I was the type of Bride that knew exactly what I wanted and how, you would think it would be an easier transition in planning. Though they treated me like if I were putting more on them or as a bother, because I was so specific and o
