The best decision we could have made for our wedding day dinner! All of our wedding guests said amazing things about the food and staff. We had a buffet style dinner and the food was kept warm and full at all times. They are very easy to work with!

Grandview was amazing to work with! The food was even more delicious than we could have imagined and left all of our guests talking about it. They were reliable and made the cocktail hour/dinner service go off without a hitch!

Best wedding food we could have ever had!! So many guests agreed upon this even with “only” one meat option among a plethora of ultra-crowd-pleasing vegetarian options. Planning our menu was so seamless, with everyone at Grandview coordinating with our venue to make sure even the smallest details were nailed down and everyone was on the same page. Jen sent an incredible first draft for our menu, going off very few clues, only that we are going for a Michigan-y, mostly vegetarian, autumnal theme. Based off just a few comments, they quickly finalized the menu and we had absolutely zero things to change after our official tasting. It was amazing to have 100% flexibility in our menu and no limitations. Also, they helped accommodate a single vegan guest with an almost comically delicious and vibrant meal. They also accommodated a last minute RSVP's tree nut allergy. My father even came up to me to say that was the best salad he ever had and I'm inclined to agree. The next day, as all the "I wish we had time for xyz's" began to settle, my husband and I's top regret is not eating more mashed potatoes or at least asking for some to be saved for later. When asked if they had a good time, VERY many guests simply responded with "uuugh the mashed potatoes!!" No other words necessary lol. Thank you Jen, Joanne, the chef and the entirety of the Grandview team for creating potent, delicious memories for us and all of our guests.

I got married on July 29, 2023 at Blue Bridge Events Centre near Traverse City, MI, and they informed me their preferred caterer is Grandview but we did not have to use them. After working with Jen and team on creating a proposed menu, and a quote, the entire process was so smooth. I can see exactly why they are the preferred caterer for such an amazing and popular venue. The planning and booking process was easy, their response times were fast, and pricing was normal compared to others. We had 255 guests and went with a plated meal- we offered chicken, beef, and a vegetarian option. Jen hosted us for our tasting, and we fell in love with the food! It was SO GOOD! Especially the chicken. And on our wedding day, we received countless compliments on how it was the best wedding food our guests have ever had. The servers worked fast and efficient, we ran into zero problems, and the food was served hot to all 255 people. They were extremely accommodating and helpful as I have celiac disease and needed some Gluten Free options for myself- Jen was so generous and went above and beyond to make sure I could enjoy my wedding meal. I literally could write a whole book on how amazing Grandview was for our wedding. If you are getting married in TC, just book them! Save yourself the time of looking around anymore because you will not find better!!!

Communication was great! They responded in a timely manner to all of our questions. The food was amazing! All of our guests loved the food and they were very accommodating for one of my bridal party members due to health problems. Highly recommend!!

All of my guests raved about the food. Said it was the best they had ever had at a wedding. Very easy to work with, tweaked the menu to fit my budget and I could not be happier. Love them. On another note. My wedding venue was cancelled found a new place with just a couple months to go and Grandview made it happen I was so please with the whole process.

Grandview was wonderful to work with for our wedding! We got so many compliments on the food and the appetizer display was amazing. We also hired one of their bartenders for our cocktail hour and they did a fantastic job. Their entire team was so kind and easy to work with as well.

SO SO SO good! Grandview catering did an amazing job for our 10.10.2020 wedding. We were originally going to do a taco bar, so that's what we had at our tasting (which was amazing by the way) but then Covid happened and we had to change our menu. I didn't know what to expect since we couldn't do another tasting but OMG it was so good! Even the professional chef who was at our wedding commented on how juicy and flavorful our chicken was! Jen is great at communicating and their bartenders were so nice and friendly! Best service and best food!

I got SO many compliments on the food for my wedding! I wished I was a guest at my wedding so that I would've had more time to sit and enjoy the food. They were so pleasant to work with and did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend!!

Food and Staff are amazing. We booked them for our wedding on August 9th and they are so willing to work with you for everything. The food was delicious and the appetizers were set up beautifully. Everything was a hit, and the staff really takes care of you and clears things and is always around when needed. Wouldn't have picked anyone else to do our wedding.

Grandview provided great wedding food at a reasonable price - we definitely recommend them for any wedding or event! We were especially impressed that they went out of their way to track down strawberries for our event, even though they weren’t available locally yet. Jen & her team were wonderful to work with.

Let me start by saying the service is impeccable. We loved working with Jen and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our tasting was out of this world and we could not wait to have our food at our wedding. That being said, the day of our food left a lot of be desired. Our chicken looked as if it was boiled or steamed and had about a tablespoon of sauce on it with one cherry. Our Brussels sprouts were mushy, not crisp like they had been. We spoke with multiple guests and everyone reluctantly admitted the food was mediocre and lacking in flavor. The desserts were phenomenal. Because we were so disappointed in our actual food the day of we had to know a few stars, hopefully this was a fluke situation and doesn’t happen all the time.

So happy we decided to use Grandview Catering for our wedding! The staff was professional and beyond helpful! The food tasted great and the presentation was a step above! I was able to enjoy the day knowing the bar, cocktail hour and dinner was taken care of! If I ever have an event again, I will be choosing Grandview Catering.

We chose Grandview Catering after visiting a few local Traverse City caterers. They were very professional and helped us determine our menu based on what we wanted. We chose three plated entree options with passed hors d'oeuvres and a table spread of appetizers as well. The presentation was incredible during cocktail hour! The highest compliment I could give comes from our guests, who kept telling us it was the best service they've ever had at a wedding reception. The servers were happy and professional the whole time. We did a tasting before the wedding and it was incredible. I didn't expect the final result (serving to 150 people) to be quite the same, but it was very close. The beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly medium rare which is often not the case at weddings. I'd recommend Grandview to anyone - they did not disappoint.

Amazing! Not only was the food amazing and all my guest were very complimentary of it, but Jen was so wonderful to work with. She was always there to answer my question (and I had a lot) and was able to accommodate a couple special dishes form my guests. Also so much more knowledgeable than just food and helpful in all areas! WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! We reached out to Jen pretty last minute because our previous caterer fell through, and she was SO helpful. She found a way to squeeze us in AND worked with our schedules and budget! The tasting was so much fun and the servers were INCREDIBLE at the wedding. So friendly and polite. And the food! OMG THE FOOD! We received so many compliments on our Mediterranean inspired menu! Thanks so, so much!

We stumbled on Grandview Catering when our original caterer couldn't work at our venue. What a find! Jen is a gem and everything you want in a caterer--detail-oriented, responsive and reliable, and creative. We arranged for a tasting before deciding on menu options and tried the salmon, the brisket, the beef, and the chicken. All were delicious! We settled on the beef and the chicken, and the food was excellent on the day of. Beef was tender and perfectly cooked, and the chicken was a savory crowd pleaser. Appetizers were also delicious and had a "special" feel--we did crab lollipops, garbanzo soup shooters, and a bunch of other yummy things. We also had a full bar with two relatively complicated signature drinks. Grandview provided the bartenders, and they did a phenomenal job. We also had Grandview do the post-wedding brunch at my parents' house. They arrived on time, did all of the cleanup and setup, and the food was great! We were so glad that we decided to cater the brunch as it took away all the stress. Highly recommend Grandview. Food tastes great and is beautifully presented, just what you're looking for in a wedding. You will not be disappointed!

Grandview catered our wedding in Suttons Bay earlier this summer. The food was incredible! All of our guests were raving about how delicious it was, telling us that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Everyone at Grandview, from the chefs to the serving staff, were extremely professional and friendly. All of the food arrived to the tables warm (which is a problem we've experienced as guests at quite a few weddings) and tasted great. They adjusted some dishes to fit certain dietary requirements of a few of a our guests without a problem. I would absolutely recommend Grandview Catering to anyone!

We used Grandview Catering for our wedding at Frog Pond Village, as one of their preferred vendors. We couldn't have been happier with our choice! Grandview was so flexible in working with us, and fit a menu/plan that fit perfectly in our wedding reception. They have a very large variety of entrees/appetizers to select from, and provided us an opportunity for a tasting prior to the wedding. Our guests raved about the food, and are still talking about it, 3 months later!! We heard several times how it was the best wedding food guests had ever had - quite the compliment! We also used Grandview to cater our rehearsal dinner, and they created a more casual menu for our event that was still absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend to anyone!

My husband and I used Grandview Catering for our tent wedding this August, and the entire experience was exceptional. From the start, Grandview was extremely helpful with the planning process including assisting us with figuring out the logistics of setting up our own venue. Jen was always friendly, available to answer our questions, and willing to help us problem solve. The day of the wedding everything looked fantastic; the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was great. The presentation of the food was stunning and everything was fresh and hot. I also cannot say enough positive things about the service - Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our guests were happy, always with a full drink and a clean table. Almost 6 months later I am still getting complements from my family about how amazing the food was and how impressed everyone was with the service provided. I would absolutely recommend Grandview to anybody looking for an outstanding food and drink experience!

While we have used Grandview Catering for many of our previous events in our home...the catering expertise they provided for my daughters wedding at Frog Pond Village was wonderful. They are professional and work within your budget to give you and your guests a delightful meal...no matter what your budget. They made the food one less thing to have to worry about!

We got married at my family's home in TC at the end of August. Grandview and Jen did an awesome job helping us figure out the logistics of an outdoor/under-tent wedding, and they felt like members of the team that we could depend upon. They also worked with us to understand our budget and provided several very helpful options for us to make our day beautiful and affordable. Our 160 guests enjoyed plated salads and two double-sided buffet tables with a chicken and a pork entree. We also had a few served appetizers and one appetizer table and bartenders (we provided the alcohol). The food was fantastic (we heard a lot of rave reviews), and the buffet lines ran incredibly smoothly. The servers did a great job releasing guests and keeping the tables clean - I can't believe we ever sweated the plated vs. buffet choice. It wasn't an issue as everything was so organized and professional. I highly recommend working with Grandview catering. We had a great experience!

Grandview did our catering for the rehearsal dinner (at our home) and the day after (the wedding) BBQ/brunch. The food was amazing, always fresh and innovative, and just delicious. The service (setting up arranging display) was perfect, no details left out, and the food displayed beautifully! Our guests were so impressed, and they have a wonderful menu for ALL tastes. We had some dietary restrictions with our guests, (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free), which they accommodated without difficulty. We were so happy with this event, I would highly recommend Grandview for any event you are planning.

As a local hotel operator and one who helps coordinate beach weddings, we've tried a variety of caterers for our wedding parties over the past 10 years. Once we started using Grandview Catering, we never tried another caterer. They know and understand not only our needs as a venue but also the needs of the bride, groom, and whoever else is offering their input on the wedding. We've seen all sorts of offerings and setups - BBQ, 7-course meals, buffet, etc. Every one is done well with perfect preparation, superb setup, and excellent execution. I've also used them for our own events - special weekends we hold twice a year for our guests and employee parties. I've yet to have a bad experience with them and that's going over 10 first-hand experiences and probably around 50 more experiences as being the wedding venue. I have also enjoyed that they follow-up after events to make sure everything was good and if anything needed to be addressed. Long story short, they will conform to your needs and help add flare if you want it or stay in the shadows if you want it. Either way, they'll do it wonderfully! It won't be a wedding where your guests say, "That's bad food." They'll remember good food and the real focus of the day - you and your new spouse! I truly apppreciate their outstanding creativity, phenominal food and over the top customer service. They are one vendor that NEVER lets me down. They are the ONE vendor that I NEVER worry about. We recently used Grandview Catering for our wedding and had a great experience. We wanted to ensure that we had great food at our wedding due to a high number of foodies among our guest list, and all of our expectations were met with Grandview. We were blown away at the tasting and our guests loved the food at the wedding as well. Grandview was very flexible in schedule our tasting- we actually had to cancel and reschedule once due to some personal conflicts, and we had no problems in doing so. Their staff is also great at working with you to ensure that you have planned for everything you will need and they are more than willing to provide suggestions to make sure you are prepared for the day. They also made sure that the bride and groom were taken care of on the day, which we greatly appreciated. Would definitely use them again for any of our catering needs!

Grandview did a fantastic job! The servers and bartenders they supplied were wonderful - many compliments! The food was very good as well - usually chicken at weddings is dried out but this wasn't at all! The only small issue we had was the food wasn't quite warm enough but the flavor of everything was great! Very VERY reasonably priced! Very impressed!
