We also had another Sarah at the end of our big night and I can’t remember her last name but she was also amazing with helping pack up for the evening! Julia is a lifesaver! Due to unforeseen circumstances, our previous coordinator wasn't able to work with us right before the wedding. We found Julia and she made herself extremely available and was very understanding of our very short timeline! I can hardly find the words to express what a relief it was to work with someone so competent, kind, and calming. She gathered the feel we wanted for the wedding and was so responsible in connecting with vendors and making sure everything was on the timeline we needed. The morning of the wedding, we found ourselves short on flowers and Julia called me from a farmer's market, having found some gorgeous flowers, and brought them right to the venue! Julia at Great Day Events was wonderful to work with. She knew more about our wedding than we did throughout the planning process which proves her commitment to organizing every small wedding details for couples. My then fiance surprised me by planning a beautiful piano piece during the reception, and needed to be kept very secret. Julia was able to keep this important part of the reception from me so that it would be a surprise which was really special. We honestly didn't have to think about any details during the wedding day itself. Everything went smoothly and we sincerely appreciated having Julia on our planning team.

I almost made the biggest mistake of my life that would have been giving me sleepless nights for eternity. I really thought I got everything under control. I’ve been a very good organizer myself but this one felt different. I prayed to God and asked Him to guide me and help me decide if I should hire a wedding coordinator or not. He answered my prayer. I called Julia at exactly a month before our wedding. Her month of coordinator basically starts 2 months before your wedding but the moment I talked to her she already made me feel that I’m in good hands. The wedding ceremony is in Minneapolis and the reception is in St. Paul. Our church guests is only limited to 48 people because of the church COVID protocol. It’s really hard to make sure that the guests at the reception are okay while they wait for us to arrive from the ceremony. Julia got us covered. She has staff to take care of the reception making sure the table and decor arrangements were correct, while she was with us at the ceremony. I guarantee you that you won’t be able to find anyone as dedicated and as organized as Julia. We had several meetings with her making sure everything is perfect. I would never have thought about doing all the things she asked me about. You’re paying for expertise, contacts/network, experience, and a 12/10 customer satisfaction guarantee. If you are looking for a day of coordinator, Julia and her team are the ones for you. Julia was extremely organized and thought of literally everything that we needed to do or information we needed to get as our special day approached. She even kept us up to date on latest covid policies and helped us adapt our plans accordingly. Julia listened to every detail that we told her about our wedding day and made sure that everything happened exactly as we had hoped. On the day of our wedding, Julia and her team set up everything perfectly and always made sure everyone stayed on schedule so we never fell behind or wasted a precious moment of our day. Even though Julia had many weddings she was working on before and after ours, we never even noticed because she was always present when needed and answered emails surprisingly quick.

Julia was amazing. She was great at planning the proposal. I genuinely recommend her services. She did not only make the contracting process smooth but was very responsive. We are so happy we decided to work with Great Day Events for our wedding in August 2020. My (now) husband and I began planning in the spring of 2019 and had no clue the impact covid would have on our wedding. I was hesitant at first to invest in a wedding planner, but when my mother in law told me she would help us hire a "day of" planner, she convinced me that the peace of mind would be worth it. After working with Julia at Great Day Events I can say it certainly was! I thought I was a detailed oriented person, but Julia truly thinks of EVERYTHING and helps you to hand everything over a few weeks before the wedding so you can slow down. If you take your time on the planning worksheets, it will be worth your time. I will note that I did talk to two other event planning services that offered longer day of services for a cheaper price, but my first phone call with Julia convinced me that she deeply cares about her clients and that she would give me honest advice.

Great Day Events worked our Daughters wedding at Brackets. She was easy to work with. She worked all last minute issues and the wedding went off without a hitch. It was an excellent experience working with Great Day Events and I would highly recommend them!!
