Couldn’t be more grateful for and impressed by Amanda and the entire GP team. I’m not really sure where to begin: as I guess the name Great Performances implies, GPs involvement was so much more than just the catering.. the team was there with us starting in the morning of our wedding day, and were just simply unbelievable. We knew our wedding would’ve been as meaningful and incredible indoors, but given GPs support, we were able to have the outdoor wedding we envisioned, despite a rain scare! It goes without saying the food was extraordinary. My groom and I ate every appetizer and virtually our entire main courses .. something not always so easy to do when one is in the moment/distracted. In addition, the GP team consisted of one team member who was basically by our (the bride and groom’s) side for the entire day… we didn’t need nor worry about a thing, and that allowed us to remain in the moment with each other, our families, and our guests. Thank you Great Performances for the most special and unforgettable day!!

Great Performances catered our wedding and it was beyond better than we could have imagined! Amanda and her team were phenomenal, extremely responsive, professional, detail-oriented, and were able to incorporate any changes we requested after the tasting (although not many because the food was so great as is!). They even helped curate our specialty drink, and it was fantastic — we received so much positive feedback. Many guests also declared it was the best food they’ve had at any wedding and we truly believe it was on par to many of the best restaurants we’ve had in NYC. The catering and bar staff also need to be applauded for their attentiveness throughout the night. Thank you GP for contributing to the best night ever!

Amanda, Madison, and the Great Performances team could not have been better partners for our wedding. In the planning phase they were detail oriented, flexible, and didn't take up our time with unnecessary or distracting questions (a huge asset during wedding planning!). As the day arrived they were hands-on and thorough, which also helped reduce the stress as we got the venue prepared. Finally, on the day itself the entire team was marvelous. The entire staff was super punctual, professional, and safe. The food (the important part) was incredible and we've been hearing from guests for weeks since the wedding about how much they enjoyed the food.

Amanda and the great performances team made our small, intimate wedding feel larger than life and luxurious. The service was top notch. The food was delicious. The presentation was high end. Amanda was so easy to work with, the days leading up to our big night she was easily accessible and helpful in any last-minute changes that needed to happen. Our wedding was at Wave Hill in the Bronx, it was all outside because of COVID-19, and it was the most beautiful night I’ve ever experienced. My only negative is that Great performances is a bit pricey! After all is said and done, I do feel that you get what you pay for, and this is a very buttoned up, high-end catering service, and they will make sure the event is perfectly executed. I couldn’t be happier with how the night unfolded.

Great Performances is the absolute best on every level! They catered our wedding in October at the Museum of the City of New York, and they made the entire process so easy and stress-free. Amanda and Madison always made themselves available to us, offered great suggestions, and were such a pleasure to work with. It began to rain and they seamlessly move our cocktail hour inside in a matter of minutes without interrupting the party or any guests. All of the food and cocktails were absolutely incredible, and we have received endless compliments! The service was five star, their staff was so friendly and accommodating. My bridal attendant (shout out to Natalie!) went above and beyond, and anticipated our every need on the day of the wedding. Amanda and Madison are a true dream team, and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day the absolute best day of our lives!

We had our wedding at the Museum of the City of New York this past October and couldn't be more happy with the food, service and day of organization by Great Performances. We chose Great Performances because of their association with local farms, and their attitude towards seasonality of produce and sustainability practices. But that's besides the point. The food is delicious! Not "wedding food" delicious, but "I'm splurging on a nice meal" delicious. In addition, the service is impeccable- everything went off without a hitch and the staff was amazing to work with and incredibly attentive to our needs. Considering second wedding for the food.

Great Performances catered our wedding at BAM this summer. We worked closely with Jessica Wincott and Kathleen Theodule and they handled everything to perfection. From our early emails/phone calls to the tasting, to the actual day of - they were on top of every detail! We barely remember interacting with them on the day of, which really means that everything was handled so well we could just enjoy our wedding and spend time with our guests. If you're considering GP for your wedding, we highly recommend them. The food was great and all the coordination was handled expertly.

We were celebrating our anniversary several days ago and we were looking at our wedding photos, and it reminded me to write a review for all our wedding vendors. The food/drinks was delicious and well presented. And the servers did a good job too. An important thing to note though is it was quite inconvenient and impractical to hire them for venues that do not have equipments and utencils ready to use. Based on my experience, the price they were charging is for the food, drinks, cooks, servers staff only. Which means you are paying the caterer, and separately you will have to pay venue, and in addition, the party rental company as well that rents out every single kitchen equipment and utencils that the caterer had to use! The fee for renting all the equipments and utencils was surprisingly very expensive as it depends on the number of utencils that are being priced there. You might for example get an invoice from the party rental company for hundreds of glasses or plates or forks, when you might only need way less than that. If you hire this catering company, don't be suprised too get invoices that shows something above $20,000 for catering, and receive a separate invoice of $10,000 or more for party rentals alone, for just a small wedding of 70 to 75 people. Just know from the start what you will be signing up for and definitely do a thorough review of what items are being charged. In short, hire this caterer only for venues with built-in fully functioning kitchen and that has all the equipments, and utencils that kitchen, cooks, server needs to use. Otherwise it will be quite expensive if you take the combined catering plus party rentals cost into account.

Great Performances catered our wedding at Housing Works in Soho, and during the evening — and since then in texts and e-mails — our guests have raved about the food and service. Ali was an incredible guide in planning the menu, and so many people said it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. It was 5-star perfect start to finish (with fresh chocolate chip cookies for the road).

We have not stopped receiving kudos and compliments about our daughter's wedding at the Brooklyn Museum. Our guests raved about your staff and how professional they were. The presentation, the food and the service were impeccable. It was magical!!! Our special thanks to Ali and her assistant Kelsey who helped to make this special evening so memorable and were just a delight to work with.

We could not have been more thrilled with having Great Performances cater our gorgeous wedding at Wave Hill in August. Amanda, Emily, and their entire team are absolute rockstars. The food was simply outstanding, restaurant quality, and the menu was special, interesting, and unique. Our team did everything they could to make sure that our day went as smoothly as possible - and were creative and flexible. In spite of some unexpected rain, they made sure we were able to have our outdoor ceremony and that cocktail hour was shifted inside. Amanda was incredibly helpful during the entire planning process, and was an amazing resource for me as the bride - she was so supportive that I didn't hire a wedding planner and didn't need one! If you want your wedding to be spectacular, super memorable for your guests, and beautifully executed, you cannot go wrong with Great Performances.

We originally connected with GP when, back in September, we chose Wave Hill for our daughter's wedding to be held in May, 2019. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change our plans, and instead held the wedding at our home in Westchester this past October 27th. As such, we had about a month to plan and execute a beautiful wedding for about 120 guests. I can unequivocally state that the wedding was perfect in every way, and it would not have been possible without Carly and Morgan of GP. They were nothing short of extraordinary. We first sat down with them at our home on September 29th and started planning the event. In addition to planning the food, drink, and service, they connected me with the most wonderful tent company (Greenwich Tents) and our fabulous valet parking company. I think we spent every day for a month speaking or emailing about every aspect of the wedding; not just the food and rentals we needed, but they also created the floor plans (to scale) of how to set up for the ceremony (which my daughter wanted in the round) to every detail of the placement of the guest tables in the tent. They never found my incessant questions, or concerns raised, to be annoying, and it was like they were on call to us 24/7. Most importantly, the food and service were both outstanding. From the hors d'oeuvres to the dinner to the after dinner sweets, every biteful was delicious. People raved about the quality and quantity of the food and drink, and many of our guests said they had never had better food at a wedding. Moreover, the GP staff was amazing. From the setup (which, of course, I was anxious about given that it was at our home instead of a venue), to the wedding cocktail reception and dinner and dancing, the service was flawless. As my husband said, the staff were "everywhere and nowhere", in that they met everyone's needs seamlessly but were never intrusive. I am probably leaving something out, but, in summary, I can't recommend GP enough. Whether you are having your wedding or event in a venue, in which case your life planning it will certainly be easier and less stressful than mine was, or you are brave enough to make the wedding at your home, you will be thrilled with the result if you choose to work with GP.

The team at great performances did such a wonderful job for our wedding day at Wave Hill earlier this month. The food and service were outstanding. We continuously receive comments from guests saying how great the food and service was. My husband and I could not be happier with the service provided by Carly and Emily. While the wedding day went off without any delays or hiccups, I feel that the way that we were treated in the days (year!) before our wedding day are most valued. The communication was always open and replied to within a day and every question went answered and clarified for piece of mind. If you are a bride like I was who is looking for some guidance from lovely people that are knowledgeable and kind - this is the team for you.

We cannot recommend GP enough! They had such a wide array of options for food and rentals--seriously, if you can think of it, they had it, and it tasted/looked amazing--but even with all those options they somehow made the decision-making process totally manageable. Carly helped us established some priorities early on, and then knowledgeably helped us navigate the planning process to be sure we would feel 100% satisfied with every decision we made. She was so friendly and responsive, it really turned what would otherwise have been a very stressful and overwhelming process into a positive experience. And not only was the support she offered before the wedding hugely helpful, the service at the wedding itself was top notch. The staff was excellently trained, but not at all stuffy, and even when we realized we were missing escort cards for some of our guests (our mistake, not theirs), they swept in and handled the situation in such a calm and professional manner that our guests didn't even realize what had happened! They also used some crafty tricks to keep lines at the bar short (our venue had a less-than-ideal bar situation), and just generally kept the night on track and running smoothly so that we didn't need to think about anything other than having fun. I wouldn't change a thing about our experience with GP. This was money VERY well spent!

Great Performances catered my wedding at Wave Hill. First things first: the food is outstanding. We got so many compliments. They take great pride in it, and it shows. They're extremely talented. But GP is so much more than a caterer. Carly and Emily were unbelievable to work with. We referred to them as the A-team. They were on top of everything, helpful with every question we had, whether it pertained to design, logistics, weather, you name it, they knew it. Their response time was very impressive, given the amount of stuff they're juggling. And on top of that, they're just really wonderful people to work with. Smart, and understanding, and calming. I'm pretty type -A, and they made me feel like I was in excellent hands, and that I could actually let go and enjoy on my big day. What more could you ask for?

My husband and I hired Great Performances as our wedding caterer and they were phenomenal to say the least!! From the initial conversation to the actual wedding itself, the planning process was seamless. I worked with Carly and Emily and those ladies are top notch! All of our wedding guests RAVED about the food, even including a successful NYC restaurateur! GP's food is creative, beautiful and delicious. The service was immaculate. Carly and Emily went ABOVE AND BEYOND their catering duties to make sure I was enjoying the wedding planing process as a whole. GP also provided a bridal attendant on the wedding day who was so lovely and sweet - she made sure my husband and I both had the drinks of our choice, kept hydrated, was eating, and even helped me with my shoe change! Seriously fantastic! Don't hesitate to hire Great Performances! They made my wedding so classy, spectacular and memorable! A++++

Truly the best team ever! We worked with Carly and Emily from the Great Performances team for our wedding at Wave Hill and it was really an amazing experience. Not only was the food exceptional (our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was) Carly and Emily were there for me at every step of the wedding planning process -- helping us select the right menu items, crowd favorite stations/appetizers to picking out our rental linens, plates and glasses, etc for the day of. In addition to all of that, the culinary team was so accommodating for our guests with food sensitivities or allergies. The best part of the whole experience was our menu sampling and getting to enjoy a full meal with Carly and Emily talking through all elements of our big day. I cannot thank them enough... they really helped make our day so special!

We used GREAT PERFORMANCES as our caterer for our August 2018 wedding at Housing Works Bookstore in Soho, New York City. The entire process was handled with great care (Ali and Kelsey were incredibly helpful) and the final product - the food - was exquisite. So many of our guests said that it was the best wedding food they have had. We recommend them very highly!

We worked with Great Performances to execute our wedding at Wave Hill in June. Carly and Emily were fantastic to work with! They were incredibly professional, responsive to all our emails and questions and helped execute our wedding vision perfectly. Carly and Emily worked with us every step of the way and we got to know them well and felt so comfortable in their hands come the big day. Carly and Emily were respectful of our budget and helped us find solutions so that we could still get the dream wedding we imagined. The service on the wedding was spectacular and guests noted how well cared for they felt. We are still getting compliments on the food - some people said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! I cannot recommend the Great Performances team, Carly or Emily enough!

Great Performances recently catered my dream wedding. Not only was the food incredible, the service was second-to-none and the staff was so helpful throughout my entire planning process. In fact, many of my guests have said the wait staff during the reception was the best of any wedding they attended. I have to agree. GP is everything one can hope for and more in a caterer. If I ever need a caterer for any future event, I will absolutely use them and recommend them to anyone looking!

I seldom leave reviews and dislike writing lengthy reviews but Great Performances really delivered their best on our wedding day and we really couldn't have complained about anything. Beginning from the planning stage, I was very impressed with how thorough and professional Great Performances took care of everything. But especially on the wedding day I was once again surprised by on how they set up all the tables, benches, and etc. perfectly to an inch. Nothing was eyeballed. Everything was precise and perfect. No matter how nice the caterers are or helpful they may be, if the food is not good everything is for naught. But in this case, I am absolutely positive all the guests that attended my wedding probably thought to themselves "Wow, this is the best wedding food I have ever tasted." When you think of wedding food (chicken breast in particular) typically the first thing that comes to mind is dry flavorless white meat. But no, not with Great Performances. Overall, I am looking forward to whatever big (or smaller) event I will need a caterer again for. It was a real pleasure working with Carly and Emily to make the wedding into a reality.

Great Performances was absolutely phenomenal. The food was to die for (everyone should get the duck!), it was beautiful, the staff the day of my wedding was so wonderful and attentive (my guests commented multiple times how pleasant and kind and fun everyone was), and my bridal attendant (provided by GP) was a literal superhero. More than that, leading up to the wedding, the team was so helpful, patient, attentive....everything. I picked GP because I immediately fell in love with Carly and Emily during our first phone call and that feeling of knowing that they were on top of everything and that they truly cared never went way. I want to throw a second wedding so I can use them again, it was that wonderful.

But by and far, the best thing that you get when you work with Great Performances is the staff. Carly and Emily were tremendous from the start, helping us through every step of the process and helping us put together the perfect selections for our wedding. They always answered our questions promptly, and would go out of their way to make sure that we felt comfortable and confident with our decisions, and the decision-making process itself. As an extra bonus, they provided top-rate staff and service on the big day itself, so much so that we felt we had to ask the room for a round of applause for all the hard work they were putting in. It was the best night of our lives, and could not have happened without the friendly and talented people Great Performances. I wish I could give Great Performances more than 5 stars. They were the most amazing caterer I've ever worked with - they made planning easy and enjoyable, prepared the most delicious food for ~250 people, and did it all with the utmost professionalism. Not only did they make all my food dreams (such as mini egg and cheese sandwiches at the after party) come true for my wedding, but all my guests were raving about how incredible everything was. On top of that, Amanda DiUglio, or event director, was an incredible source of help, support, and guidance throughout the whole planning process- I wish I could work with her again! I can't say enough good things about GP!

My daughter's wedding was in June on a farm in the Hamptons. It was fabulous but what made it fabulous but also easy was Amanda and the Great Performances team. Amanda didn't miss a beat, she was our everything. Of course the food was incredible, the tasting fun and creative with so much room for tweeking. But it was everything else she helped coordinate that made her the best partner for our event or any event. Five stars aren't enough.

Great Performances did a fabulous job with my wedding. Amanda and her team including Mel were enthusiastic, accommodating, patient, organized, and absolute professionals at every turn. They advised and guided us in implementing every crazy idea we had. It rained all night and the day of our outdoor wedding. They calmly worked with me to create options, change locations, formats, and timing at the last minute. And the food. The food was just stunning, in taste and presentation. I could not eat enough of it. Many seasoned wedding guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and this is in no small part due to Great Performances behind the scenes. The value they provided exceeded expectations in every way.

Though the Great Performances catering is on the pricier side, it's very worth it - more people than we can count have told us this was the best wedding food they've ever had. Great Performances was our caterer - and so much more - for our wedding at Wave Hill. Carly and Emily are an amazing team! They are quick to reply, beyond helpful and have all the answers to make you feel very comfortable heading in to the big day! The food was fantastic! I always worry that anytime you serve a meal for 130 people, the execution will suffer. It did not - it was just great! We received many compliments about the food. Great performances also facilitates rentals for you, and again, Carly and Emily guide you smoothly through that process knowing exactly what you need for Wave Hill. The GP staff on our wedding day was also exceptional. Overall amazing experience!

We had an amazing experience with the Great Performances team especially both Carly and Emily who were our coordinators. My biggest regret about my wedding is that I did not eat enough of the AMAZING food. Great Performances was amazing!! We spent a year working with one of their coordinators, Amanda, in creating the perfect menu and ambiance for our wedding. They were very accommodating and attentive to our unique cultural requests. They were also flexible about the menu and tailored every detail to our style. On the wedding day, everything was perfect from the food to the service to the friendliness of the staff. It's also a huge bonus that they own their own farm so everything is local! Great Performances is exactly that ---Great. In fact, it is fabulous. Our June wedding celebration at the Museum of the City of New York was flawless,and our guests still rave about the elegance of the setting, the Michelin star quality food (who leaves a catered event raving about the food?) and the attentiveness of the staff. From the moment we met her. Amanda DiUglio, our knowledgeable and responsive event coordinator, inspired complete confidence. She was the perfect guide to the creation of a seamless and festive event, making us feel as if we were pampered guests at our own party. Her sympathetic understanding and attention to detail was immensely reassuring. But most especially, her sensitivity to our wishes and requirements helped us create an evening that was both entirely magical and entirely personal.It was everything we had hoped for and more. We felt throughout we were in the best of hands. I recommend Great Performances without any reservations.

I cannot say enough good things about Amanda and Great Performances! They were so responsive through the whole process and it's clear they really care about each event they put on. Amanda took the time to get to know me, my fiancé, and my family and by doing so she totally understood the aesthetic we were going for and the type of wedding we envisioned (she even helped my parents take leftover wedding cake to their apartment after the wedding ended!). She also had the best suggestions on menu items, table settings, and how the overall flow of the day should go. And to top it all off everyone at GP is so fun and enjoyable to work with. There had been a lot of turnover at my wedding venue so I was a little concerned about my wedding coming together as I had envisioned, but Amanda and her team saved they day and flawlessly executed my dream wedding. The food was also delicious (the tasting was definitely one of my favorite days) and everyone raved about the mini passed desserts we had during dancing!

Great Performances was absolutely flawless in helping us to plan and execute our wedding. Carly and Emily were so attentive and really listened to what we were going for, giving us awesome advice and helping to guide us throughout the process from renting dinnerware and linens to trying custom recipes for our dinner. Thank you so much for the whole team for making our dream day magical!!

We had an amazing experience using Great Performances for our wedding at the Caramoor Center this September of 2016. Amanda DiUglio is absolutely PHENOMENAL at her job. We didn't have a wedding planner and I don't know how we would have gotten through the planning process without her. She went above and beyond her role to make our wedding a true success. Allison Davis was also lovely to work with. The food at our wedding was out of this world; we're still getting compliments! We didn't have a cake and wanted our desserts to be fun. Our desserts were delicious and included apple cider doughnuts, milk-shakes with chocolate chip cookies through the strawer, black and white cookies (that they actually made one side seafoam bc of our wedding color), and more. We did three stations and loved each one. They also gave me a bridal assistant for the day of, Lucy, and she was a rockstar. Though they're on the pricier side, you will not go wrong with them and probably will never have better food at a wedding (unless it's one of their other venues of course)!

Great Performances was amazing!!!! From helping to plan our Wave Hill wedding in the months leading up to it, to the food and service the day of, they were fantastic! Great Performances helped us with so much more than just the food, including the flow of the event, the tables, and all the details, and they were so available for questions and discussions every step of the way. The display of the appetizers during cocktail hour was fantastic, and so many guests complimented the delicious food and its presentation. Great Performances was amazing!!

Shaun was a dream to work with. He made my wedding dreams come true! I couldn't have asked for anything more!!!

Melissa Perrotti and Shaun Roberts are an absolute dream team, and our wedding had the best food of any wedding I've ever been to! I worked closely with them to create a "floating dinner", with a ton of different stations. Melissa worked closely with me on every aspect of the event, acting as a wedding planner. Everything was just perfect, and I can't recommend them enough. Our wedding was in NYC just a few days after Hurricane Sandy, and the Great Performances kitchen had lost power. That didn't stop them for a SECOND. They found another kitchen to prep in, and everything went off without a glitch. They are true professionals, and I would love to work with them again.
