We had April Sosa as our coordinator. She was absolutely amazing! She did such a good job helping me manage all the details and the event turned out perfectly! We planned an Indian wedding, and she did amazingly working with us to make the day go smoothly. The bartenders were also amazing. And the bridal assistant was so sweet and helpful! The food was also delicious and way better than it was at the tasting. Everything about this venue was amazing!

When we first came across this venue, we already knew it would probably be the place we would get married. It was seriously the only venue we looked at in person! It was everything we wanted, especially because the aesthetic of our wedding was going to be a little different than the norm. It had that beautiful vintage look, lush gardens, and just the right amount of space for our large wedding without feeling cramped at all. Every step in the process was so helpful, especially Marissa - she was a godsend. I'm the type of person who doesn't let go of control very well, but I didn't worry once the day of, or leading up to the wedding for that matter, because I knew Marissa had it completely taken care of. The staff in general was AMAZING and if there were any snafus, we had no idea. Everyone was kind, accommodating, and unbelievably professional. The food was delicious (appetizers and dinner) and the family-style aspect we chose worked so well with our large guest count. Everything was so wonderful I could go on and on...but seriously, our wedding turned out so perfect! Our guests still talk about it and say it was the most fun wedding they've been to and how beautiful it was. If you're thinking about having your wedding here - do it. I promise you'll be more than happy you did!

Trademark Venues offers many perks, including a dedicated coordinator, a great decor catalog, delicious food, BYOB, and assistance with setup and packing. While communication was initially slow, once connected, April addressed all our questions promptly and thoroughly. I will say it could take up to a week to get a response.
Overall, we highly recommend Trademark Venues and Green Gables for anyone looking for a memorable wedding experience. It truly was one of the most beautiful venues we've toured. We wish we could do it all over again at this amazing venue!

We are SO happy that we went with a Trademark venue for our wedding day. Hands down the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. More specifically, we went with Green Gables Estate for our December 2023 wedding. All of the Trademark venues come with a venue coordinator that helps with the wedding planning process. We were assigned Sage as our venue coordinator and she was AMAZING. I highly recommend requesting Sage. We had several meetings with Sage throughout the planning process and she was so easy to connect with. She saved us from so much stress throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, she was there from start to finish to make sure everything went perfectly. She made sure that we stayed on track with our timeline and she coordinated day-of plans/timeline with all of our other vendors. She even helped me bustle my dress on the wedding day because my mom went MIA. Sage is a literal angel! I feel like I need a separate review just for Sage because she was that incredible. She truly went above and beyond from the planning stages to rehearsal day to the big wedding day and everything in between!
The venue itself was absolutely beautiful! I had so many guests tell me that it was the best and most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. The Trademark catering staff and bartenders were amazing and the food was so delicious! They even had a team catering to the wedding party throughout the day to make sure we were getting drinks/food. A huge bonus was that we were able to provide our own alcohol, which helped save on overall costs. Overall, we are SO happy we chose Green Gables for our special day. If you are considering any of the Trademark Venues, definitely go with them!
The venue is absolutely magical with a twinkle light tree branch to get married under, a fun blue truck, and a sweet schoolhouse with the best bridal suite area. However, what really made this venue sparkle was our coordinator, Jeselle! )The venue comes with a wedding coordinator, and we lucked out with Jeselle!). She was super organized, such positive energy, and so helpful throughout the whole process - especially the day of. So grateful to her and Green Gables for helping to make our day the most special, relaxing, and fun!
My husband and I had the pleasure of getting married at Green Gables last weekend. When we first went to see the location, it was so stunningly perfect that we immediately called to book it and canceled our next day of venue tours. I had been looking for something that had a garden feel to it, and Green Gables is definitely that. Everything about it is gorgeous: the grounds with the fountain and tree swing, the bridal salon in the old school house, the groom's speakeasy, and the large reception tent area.
Our coordinator, Sage, was absolutely amazing on the day of our wedding. Our guests and bridal party have even commented on how well organized she kept everything. We were all incredibly impressed by her ability to ensure that everything went smoothly. The decorations were exactly the way I had requested, and Sage made sure that all the items that we had brought were safely packed up at the end of the night.
The venue offers a large array of decor that you can choose from, as well as the option to bring in some of your own. The catered food was delicious, and the milk and cookies station was a huge hit. There is plenty of parking (although a bit of an uphill walk from most of them), and 6 bathrooms on site, which is more than most venues have. :)

You should definitely use Green Gables for your wedding venue. My wife and I had a practically perfect wedding, and we owe so much of it to Green Gables and Trademark.
Most importantly, the wedding planning process was simply not that stressful because of Green Gables and the Trademark team. We had heard stories from some of our recently-married friends about sleepless nights and endless anxiety in the weeks leading up to the day. Although we obviously worked hard, we never had any doubt that the day would go well (and we are anxious people!). Green Gables and the Trademark team are professional, experienced, and have everything down to a science. Green Gables does several weddings a week during peak season; they are prepared to handle your wedding. You are in good hands with them, and that is invaluable when planning such an important event.
Moreover, the venue speaks for itself. While this kind of thing comes down to taste, we received so much positive feedback about how beautiful the venue was. Because there are so many trees and other great features inherent to the venue, you do not need to put a lot of decor in to make it look great. The layout is convenient, the tent is a perfect reception setting, and the ceremony spot is very romantic.
They also take care of a lot for you. We did not need to find a caterer, equipment rental company, security service, etc., because Green Gables takes care of all that. Further, we decided not to have a wedding planner, and while your mileage may vary on that, we think that was the correct call. Because Green Gables has so many weddings, they have a network of vendors they use frequently that are great. If you stick with those recommendations, that gives you a great starting point and you can likely take care of booking vendors and the rest on your own. The vendors we picked also had so much familiarity with the venue that we did not need to worry about coordinating the venue-vendor relationship; they pretty much all knew where to go and what to do.
There are some things to consider when picking a venue like this, though--most notably, your decor options are often limited to what they have in their catalogue. If you are the type of person who wants control over every decision for your wedding, this may feel constricting. If, however, you feel overwhelmed at the thought of making all the decisions that come with a wedding, it is helpful (and you know that at minimum the decor will match the venue).
Finally, I just want to note that the team was very helpful. Marissa was our day-of coordinator and she made sure we did not lift a finger on our wedding day. We also peppered them with several dozen questions throughout the entire process year+ long process, and they were always helpful and kind in responding.
In short, if you are looking for a beautiful venue that will reliably and comfortably give you a stellar wedding, Green Gables is an excellent choice.
Honestly, I could not have pictured a better place to have my wedding then here at Green Gables. It was literally my dream wedding brought to life. From having our wedding ceremony under the lighted trees to the wedding reception inside the tent. It was everything I have ever wanted in one location. Working with Jeselle was simply amazing. She was so sweet, funny, professional, and we made sure that everything I wanted was played out. She made the whole planning and even the day of run so smoothly. She communicated so well with all my vendors to make sure it was less stressful for me. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator. Nothing in my wedding went wrong and thanks to her, she made sure all my guest, bridal party, husband and I was ok and having a good time. The food was delicious and I kept getting compliments about how beautiful the wedding venue was. Every area was the perfect photo op for our guest. Our favorite part of the venue was the bridal and groom suites, they were both so beautiful decorated and thought out that it was such a highlight of our big day. After viewing so many other venues and also attending other weddings, I knew Green Gables was the perfect fit for what we wanted. Communication is a big deal for me and it was given from everyone apart of Trademark Venues. They were very transparent about every detail, from what we ordered, to the billing information, to the wedding rehearsal, and even the big day. Thank you so much Trademark and Jeselle for everything you have done for us. I highly recommend planning your wedding here at Green Gables and definitely choose Jeselle to be your wedding coordinator, you wont be disappointed.
I got married here at green gables in April 2023 and it was a dream come true. The venue is beautiful, the decor was amazing, the food is incredible, and we had a blast with the DJ they requested to us. My guests still can’t stop talking about how beautiful it was and how delicious the food was. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because of the communication. I was told half way through my planning process that my coordinator was changed because she left the company 2 weeks before my decor meeting. So because of that change that wasn’t told to me until last minute, I had to start over. My notes and vision wasn’t passed on to my new coordinator, Gina when they swear they gave it to her which added a lot of extra stress. Although she was very organized and tried her best but at the end of the night she was trying to rush us out as fast as she can just like the rest of the staff. There was some kind staff members who helped me though. So after they changed my coordinator they didn’t give her any of the notes and it was obvious. I had to repeat myself a few times to get my vision finally put together. Although it added a lot of stress to my planning process, it all ended up fine. (Thank god!) so besides everything, the communication needs a lot of work. You won’t meet face to face with your coordinator until towards the end. That was really hard. They also put most of the pressure on the bride and completely ignore the groom. As soon as the reception ended, they were in my face asking me a million questions that was discussed in the notes and previous meetings like where the extra stuff goes, who is taking what to where, and pressuring us to leave asap. Also my guest book frame was thrown in the back of my car from the staff and the corner is broken. It’s like as soon as the lights come on and the event is done, they don’t care anymore. Getting married here was magical and I don’t regret it but I wish the staff was more kinder to their clients.
Where do I start? Trademark venues have their stuff down. From site selection, to tasting, to communication, expectations, day-of, and execution, I could not have imagined a better experience and day for my wife and I even if I tried. What really made our experience great was Marissa. She was so calm and attentive. Poised and intelligent. We could seriously go on. Green gables was a dream! It was more perfect than we could have imagined. From the moment we said yes to this location we felt so much love and support from the staff of trademark venues. Everything was laid out for us from day one and we knew exactly what to expect during the planning process which took so much stress away. The venue was beautiful, with so many trees, and natural florals we didn’t need to add much more than some simple arrangements. The food was amazingly delicious and our guests especially loved the garlic mashed potatoes. This day would not have been possible without the most perfect coordinator! Marissa was thoughtful, attentive and made all our ideas come to life no matter how crazy they were. We are truly thankful for her and all the staff that worked with her to make our day perfect. Our friends and family are still talking about this as the best wedding they have ever been to, and I will recommend this venue to everyone I know getting married!
We loved Green Gables Estate so much. It was the perfect venue for 265 guests and if you really like magical, rustic vibes! They can even go higher to 300. The decorations, staff, and our coordinator were just perfect ! We really liked our coordinator Sage. She was absolutely great to work with and she followed our timeline so well. Without her, our day would not have been so perfect. The food was also so delicious and we really liked family style. The bartenders also did an excellent job keeping the line moving and getting everyone drinks (sometimes a little heavy on the pour ;) ). Green Gables was absolutely amazing. We were one of the 2020 weddings that had to be postponed. They were so gracious and flexible by allowing us to postpone it without any stress or difficulty. Our guests raved about how beautiful our venue was and they loved the private little areas they could explore. The staff is AMAZING. Emily was our coordinator and she was so helpful and kind! She was super responsive and took care of everything on the day of - I honestly did not even feel stressed on my wedding day because she was so on point with coordinating the vendors and making sure my items were set up properly. I highly recommend Green Gables, and frankly the Trademark Venues in general, because you really can't beat what you get for the cost (comparative to the other venues we saw in San Diego County.) We didn't have to worry about renting plates, chairs, tables, or hiring caterers for the food - and that made our stress level much lower than what it would have been elsewhere. I highly recommend going for a tour at this venue or any of the other 4 they have - as they are all so lovely!
WOW, just WOW! Green Gables was the first and only venue I saw. It was everything I was looking for. The Trademark team is great to work with from start to finish. It's easy to communicate with them, they include sooooo many things! But I am here to talk about my wedding day (2/21/22), Courtney and all staff onsite were absolutely wonderful to work with. They kept checking in on me and my party to see if we needed anything. Courtney is so kind and organized and she just makes magic happen. I have received dozens of compliments on the venue, the staff, the food, seriously have not heard one bad thing. I am so happy I found Green Gables. Highly recommend.
Green Gables is one of the best wedding venues in the San Diego area! They truly make everything easy, from start to finish. We got married here at the end of January and our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Our wedding coordinator was Courtney, and she was INCREDIBLE. I don't know how we got so lucky! She was so easy to work with, so kind, so organized, and made sure our day ran flawlessly. There is a lot of stress involved in the wedding planning process, but Courtney made sure that we were able to fully enjoy ourselves the entire wedding day. I can't imagine going through the wedding planning process without her!
We loved getting married at Green Gables! The ambience is wonderful. The property is well maintained and even though it's in a busy area, the trees and flowers lining the venue make it feel super secluded and intimate. There are a number of places to have the ceremony. We got married in the gazebo and it was beautiful. The cocktail hour in the patio-like area between the schoolhouse and the groom's speakeasy was a hit. While we took photos elsewhere on the property, it total privacy so we were able to focus, our guests were able to enjoy a cocktail hour with appetizers catered by the venue and drinks from the satellite bar. Dinner was fantastic and our guests enjoyed the food. Our day-of coordinator, Courtney, was super helpful both in the planning process and as well as on our special day. One of the things I hear all the time is how brides and grooms often forget to eat or have some time to themselves, but Courtney ensured we were able to do both! Overall, we loved Green Gables and would recommend any of the Trademark properties to anyone planning a medium to large sized celebration.
Green Gables was the perfect venue for our Nov 2021 wedding! I wanted a whimsical wedding with a vintage flare and Green Gables did not disappoint. The venue grounds are beautiful and full of character. Decorating the venue was super easy, with the help of their user friendly online decor catalog. Numerous options are included at no additional cost. We were able to customize our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception area perfectly to our taste. Their coordination team is wonderful. We worked with Melissa through our whole wedding planning journey and it felt just like we had our own personal wedding planner. Their all inclusive menu options were delicious and the menu tasting was such a highlight. I highly recommend attending one of the food tasting events at their truly glamorous Trademark restaurant in order to hand pick your all of you wedding day food sections. Overall we would highly recommend any of the Trademark venues to couples looking for a well-curated personalized and stress free wedding experience.
My husband and I just got married at Green Gables this past July and I am beyond happy that we chose this venue. First of all the venue is GORGEOUS. I received compliment after compliment about how beautiful the site itself was. The flowers, the trees, the lights, the Bridal Parlor, the Speakeasy, the tent. Our wedding party was so excited to spend the hours leading up to the ceremony in such an incredible setting.
The staff was also amazing! Our wedding coordinator, Shauna, was outstanding and I could not be happier. She was on top of every detail. Throughout the planning process, when I discovered a hiccup on my end, she was a breeze to work with, always had a solution, and was cool, calm, collected and such a sweetheart. I cannot say enough good things about her. She helped the day-of run smoothly as well. We had a Bridal Assistant who was awesome as well, attending to our needs, pre-wedding.
I love that Green Gables provides so many resources and the staff sets everything up and takes everything down. That was a big concern of mine, as I didn't want my family and friends having to worry about these details on our Wedding Day and they were able to enjoy the day with us.
I also received compliments from our outside vendors that GG was easy to work with and they thoroughly enjoyed working with this venue.
If we had the choice to go back in the past and change something about our venue, I would pick Green Gables, 100% without a doubt, over and over.
This venue is amazing! We decided to reschedule our daughter's April 2021 wedding due to the ongoing pandemic. I was very concerned about how this process would be, both logistically and financially. However, they were so supportive, flexible, and accommodating. We are so excited to hold the wedding at this beautiful venue in May 2022.
Just wanted to review this wedding team, not necessarily the venue. My fiance and I were considering one of their venues, however because of reasons not related to the venues itself, we chose something else. But the team here are AWESOME. Super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend working with them.
From the tour 19 months before our actual date of the wedding to our wedding day the staff was amazing. Hannah our coordinator was great from day one. The venue was Breath taking and very private. The food was delicious (butternut squash raviolis are BOMB) booking this venue you really get to enjoy your planning and your day. We didn’t have to worry about set up or clean up which was a huge plus. We got to dance the night away and just enjoy every little thing thanks to the staff. Highly recommend green gables!
I am so thankful that me and my husband found Green Gabled. There are not enough good things I could say about Hannah Tortosa, she is amazing and made our planning process so easy. Katie, my day of bridal assistant was amazing. She was funny, kind and comforting. She made sure I was at ease and comforted me throughout the entire day. I honestly did not imagine my wedding day going off as seamlessly as it did. It’s not often you hear about a wedding with no “problem” and I know I owe this to Hannah. Thank you to Hannah, Katie and Green Gables for making this girls dream wedding a reality. It was truly a day I will never forget and I am so thankful.
The venue is gorgeous. I was just very disappointed with the logistics and the “ wedding Cordinator” she was disoriented and disorganized. They changed my wedding Cordinator mid way to my wedding with out letting me know of the changes. I felt like I did most of the figuring out what and who. Amber did not look through her notes for my wedding she forgot my lawn games she didn’t put out my bird cage for my cards. I’m just so dissatisfied. The amount of money you pay for this venue you expect a certain level of professionalism. At one point we couldn’t even find any of the workers nor Amber. I honestly felt like she was on another level like she wasn’t all there. I’m not sure. The actual venue is gorgeous but the way I was handled was not something I would recommend going through as a bride. They promise you and tell you how things will go through out your wedding day but idk if it’s a lie or if the batch of employees I got that day did not want to do their job. All my guests were confused on where to go half of them didn’t sign my guest book even though I was promised that there would be people going around making sure everyone knew where to go.
Sigh now it’s over and I wish I would have complained in the first place when Amber didn’t reach out to me when she was given my wedding to help. Just really ask questions and be on top of everything yourself because otherwise you’ll be let down if you end up choosing this venue.
We are so happy we went with green gables for our wedding. The process was seamless from start to finish. They offer so much help and resources throughout the planning process. Our day was perfect, ran smoothly, and was so fun. It was amazing. I couldn't recommend them more.
This is a dreamy venue. I loved the garden, vintage, romantic atmosphere. We enjoyed the coordinators and they day of coordinators were excellent! I love that the ceremony space and reception space is on the same property for convenience.
We had our wedding at GG on 10/5 and it was the most magical day of our lives! All our guests were blown away with the venue. We didn’t spend much on flowers because we really didn’t have to, the venue is so beautiful all on its own. Food is SO good, Tim from their culinary team was super easy to coordinate with via email and our tasting was fun. Amber was our wedding planner and she was great! Kept our timeline moving and there really wasn’t any delays. If I could do it all over again, I would pick Green Gables every time!
Jay and I were married at Green Gables Estate San Marcos, CA on August 16, 2019. I don’t even know where to begin – EVERYTHING about this venue, it’s atmosphere, the service, the food and coordination team was literally ON POINT. Green Gables made our dream wedding a reality, and we would recommend them a million times over. It is difficult to find a location that offers it all – from 10.5 private and uninterrupted hours with your friends and family, space to get ready, a beautiful ceremony location, full event set-up, delicious food and a grand reception area that will WOW your guests. It is as if you’ve entered your own little fairytale while on property. It will take your breath away. The Green Gables staff – I don’t even have the words. Hannah Tortosa, our wedding coordinator was beyond amazing. She became a sister to me through the process. She and the rest of the staff bent over backwards to ensure we had the day that we always dreamed of. Every detail was planned and executed with pure precision. Absolutely incredible people and a gorgeous venue to call home on your wedding day!
Wow. I don't even have enough words to describe how much I loved getting married at Green Gables. As a Pre-K teacher, I was instantly drawn to the old school house, but couldn't have even imagined how wonderful of a team they would have. Not only is it truly a beautiful oasis, they also help you with pretty much every single detail - from timeline, to decor, to questions about planning. Hannah and her team made our day go as smooth as you could possibly ever ask for and our family and friends are STILL talking about how amazing it was. Green Gables Wedding Estate was a dream to be married at. From the very beginning, their team was always quick to respond to my questions and concerns. Melissa, our assigned coordinator, was so patient with the entire process (which took place over a year in advance) and so wonderful for the actual day of event. Everything went according to plan all because Melissa and her team were on top of everything; I didn't need to stress out or worry about anything because everything went off without a hitch. All of my friends and family were so impressed with the venue, the food, and the atmosphere Green Gables offers. Some of my engaged friends even asked for more information about the venue after the wedding was over. I am so happy I chose Green Gables!!
My husband and I must have visited at least 20 venues over a 6 week period - Green Gables was the first one we looked at (and then subconsciously compared the others to) and we ultimately chose this location because it was beautiful, had everything we wanted, and they made everything so effortless and easy. Michelle set everything up for us and answered our many many questions, and Petar was a Godsend as a coordinator. He was quick to respond to messages, eased our concerns and let me wait until nearly the last minute to make final decisions, because it ended up raining (really hard) on our wedding day. We decided approximately 1.5 hours before the ceremony to move the entire wedding inside the reception tent (for 150 people), but they pulled off the best possible backup plan we could have hoped for, and we had one of the most unique San Diego weddings because of it! The food was also fantastic - our guests raved about all of the delicious options and ease of service with the food stations. We are so so happy that we chose to have our wedding here - they made our dream wedding possible, despite the rain!
All I can say is every single person at green gables makes you feel so important and so special from your first meeting till your wedding day! You have someone working with you and planning and they do all the hard work. Hannah was my event corrdinator and she answered any question at any time of the day. The week of she was extra on top of it and the day of she had a staff of 15 decorating, checking in on me, etc. the venue created my dream wedding even better than I could have dreamt! I want to redo it all over because of how special they made it for us! I definitely recommend green gables to anyone looking in SoCal! I can’t get over how beautiful everything was! Every little detail was thought out and perfect!

- Our wedding coordinator Hannah was the best. She answered every single question along the way and made our wedding day 100% anxiety free. I remember showing up the day of feeling lost because of how much was going on, but Hannah and the rest of the Green Gables staff took care of EVERYTHING and made sure the day was perfect.
- The grounds are absolutely beautiful with a vintage charm. Literally anytime during the year this place is gorgeous.
- The catering menu is delicious and they have VEGAN options that are actually good.
- The reception area is tented and has heat/AC so no matter what time of year it is you and your guests will be comfortable.
- The bridal suite and grooms "speakeasy" were just redone and are stunning. They look amazing in pictures too.
- The bar is BYOB, which a lot of other venues we checked out were not. This saved us tons of money. Green Gables also staffs the bar so you don't have to worry about it.
We loved having our wedding at Green Gables!! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with beautiful oak trees and flower beds surrounding the old schoolhouse. The reception area is also great - it's a tented reception area, but it is a permanent tent with heaters, so it feels more like a regular building. The coordination team took so much stress out of the whole planning process, and working with Melissa (our personal coordinator) was so easy! She made sure we were kept up to date with all the moving parts of the planning process, and she helped keep us on track by setting up coordination meetings, timelines, etc. The food was delicious as well, Tim (the chef) did an amazing job! We had so many guests come up to us and tell us how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had. My husband and I also had a blast at our wedding - everything flowed so smoothly, the day-of coordination team did such an amazing job!!!
What can I say about this beautiful, vintage, hidden away spot, it is absolutely amazing! I knew from the moment I stepped on the grounds that this would be the fairytale place to get married. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, Melissa our day of and really throughout the year coordinator was just simply amazing and professional. If you are looking for an outside wonderland with twinkle lights Green Gables is the spot. We can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is and how awesome the workers are, it truly was a magical day for us. Thank you again for making our special day extra special.

Just got married last month at Green Gables and we had the greatest day ever. So many of our family and friends told us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to.
Staff: Petar was our coordinator and he was amazing. He was always ready to help answer any questions I had and made sure we had a stress free wedding day! Day of, he was super organized and helpful keeping the event flow of the wedding moving. Everything was set up better than I could even imagine when I arrived day of.
Food: Delicious! A lot of options to choose from during your catering tasting. The kitchen is also super accommodating!

We live abroad and were planning our wedding from another country. The staff at Green Gables made our wedding planning an absolute breeze. They were professional, had great communication skills and were super knowledgeable and helpful. If you're looking for a "all-in-one" venue, this is definitely the place for you.

BSOLUTELY PERFECT FOR OUR WEDDING! I need to start off by recognizing Kelsey Carlin as an amazing coordinator. We met her at our first walk through and she was so helpful. I emailed her so many times with zillions of questions and she always got back to me within 48 hours. It was unreal. I loved working with her and every bride would be LUCKY to have her as their coordinator. She was a total delight, so friendly, so helpful, so good at her job, understood everything we wanted for our big day and was just OUTSTANDING!!
The venue was remarkable. It has so many cool photo ops and it was recently re-done too. GET MARRIED HERE- YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY YOU DID!!!
Green Gables is a magical venue and they can do it all. Melissa U. was an extraordinary coordinator and worked hard to make our vision come true. She made the wedding day move smoothly and we couldn't have done it without her. Even when there were bumps on the road, Green Gables worked with us to reach a compromise.
It is important to keep in mind that while Green Gables is an inclusive venue, they do up charge for certain items. However, they try to be open about this disclosure when you book them.
Their catering team is great, we were able to have tacos and they were super tasty!
If you want to know the job will be done well, you can trust Green Gables with your wedding/event. Just be clear at the beginning with your expectations and clarify any questions and concerns at the beginning and you will be set!
I knew I wanted to get married at Green Gables and we booked our wedding day the day we toured. We were assigned Hannah as our coordinator and she made *All* our dreams come true. Our Disney/Pun Rock/Beauty and the Beast themed wedding wouldn’t have been made possible without the dream team at Green Gables. Hannah made sure to reply to even the most menial of questions I had leading up to wedding day.
The day of wedding was incredibly hot. But the bridal suite was gorgeous and air conditioned! The newly remodeled grooms room and bridal suite are breathtaking.

Luke- one of the staff members who placed “hidden mickeys” throughout the venue.
Edgar- for attentiveness and assistance in set up and ensuring our guests were dazzled by the ambience of our dreams.
Peter- (who we call “Peet-ah” like Peter Pan) for helping my grandfather (who’s on oxygen) and not leaving his side making sure that my papa could enjoy the occasion to the fullest. Supplying him power, water, and tissues as needed.
Tim- for making a culinary masterpiece everyone is still raving about.
The venue alone is enchanting and beautiful but it’s the team behind the venue that really made our day unique, memorable and truly our own.
Absolutely amazing venue!! We had our wedding here last weekend and it was a dream. The whole planning process was so easy, the staff are there for you throughout to answer any questions. Melissa Untalan was our coordinator and she was so helpful and fabulous. She was there the whole day with us and everything went so smoothly. The food was great and everyone loved the ice cream bar. It is a beautiful venue with a great staffing behind it. I would recommend this venue to everyone, it is perfection!
The experience working with Green Gables was wonderful. My coordinator Hannah was efficient, professional and always available to answer questions I had. Not only is this venue gorgeous the staff is friendly and hard working. My wedding went off without any issues and Hannah was right there the whole time making sure any issues that might pop up were managed without me even knowing. I am very happy that I chose to get married at Green Gables and feel lucky that Hannah was my coordinator. I highly recommend this venue to any bride because you will feel taken care of and have a wonderful wedding.
BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER! I just got married there a couple weeks ago and was blown away. The staff was amazing. Melissa and Ramon went above and beyond. This venue is gorgeous! I loved getting married at Green Gables. Melissa Untalan, our coordinator, was fantastic! She was attentive, patient and so easy to work with! The day went perfectly without any major hiccups all thanks to her.
The only small negative thing I have about this venue is I didn’t talk to the same person once till about 4 months out (engagement was 1.5 years). From initial contact, to tour, to contract, to each meeting I was talking to someone new. Even with this, they were very organized because each person knew all the details I had picked already.
I would definitely recommend to have your wedding here, and STRONGLY recommend you request Melissa as your coordinator!
This venue is STUNNING. Melissa was absolutely wonderful as our day-of coordinator - she made everything very seamless! I was so grateful for her on our big day. :) The staff were all wonderful as well, from the ladies & gentlemen restocking our Donut Wall, to the fun bartenders. I would definitely recommend being in communication with your coordinator for nearly every "big" decision you make - we were given a "Bride Guide" that ended up being outdated and we chose a DJ that wasn't approved. It was a really disheartening experience as we had fallen in love with the DJ we chose, but we couldn't use him. Melissa was very apologetic and advised that GG is aware and working on an updated Bride Guide. Make sure the Bride Guide you get is updated with all vendor info!
Green Gables was probably the 3rd place I had visited during our search for a venue and as soon as I got there, I knew it was the one. I loved that it was all inclusive and I didnt have to worry about anything.
The only concern we had throughout the process was that we had maybe 3 different coordinators that we worked with, and sometimes there were miscommunications where one coordinator would tell us one thing, but when the next one took over they would tell us that it couldn’t be done. But we appreciated that they bent over backwards to honor what the previous coordinator promised us (pro tip: save your emails!).
However, our last coordinator who was there on the day of our wedding, Hannah, was flat out AMAZING. She made sure that everything was absolutely perfect. The entire day, neither me or my husband had to lift a finger. We wanted a drink? She ran to the bar to get it. We got hungry during cocktail hour? She followed us around with a tray of appetizers while we took pictures. Totally and completely amazing.
Hannah and her staff were all incredible, and that’s what made our day so special. Green Gables is a breathtaking venue and I will refer them to anyone getting married.
My daughter was married at Green Gables on August 27, 2017. This venue made her wedding well organized and absolutely magical from start to finish! Everyone at this venue is courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and just great human beings. They genuinely care about your wedding and making it the most perfect day of your life. One of the most important aspects for me was that they do everything they say they're going to do....and more! Every detail was important to them and they made my daughter feel like a princess on her wedding day! The food was spectacular!! The ambiance was magical. I wish it wasn't over...it was such a beautiful night. Thank you Green Gables.

I had my wedding at the Green Gable's wedding estate in San Marcos in May 2017. I can't begin to tell you how amazing the wedding was. The food, service, staff.. Just the entire experience was amazing. A special shout out to Ramon, he is the manager and was so attentive to our every need. The planning process was very helpful and informative. While planning a wedding is never easy, I was able to call and access a team of planners any day I had a question. This was really great because I wasn't stuck with just one planner and waiting for them to answer emails or anything like that. As for the food, it was better than the tasting that we had and all my guests are still raving about the menu. A Roasta de Tuscany & cordon bleu chicken, strawberry goat cheese salad, tomato bisque with mini grilled cheese shooters, fresh fruit petite skewers asparagus wrapped in prosciutto with sea salt and cream cheese, chocolate Smore's shooters served in shot glasses, mini button mushroom caps stuffed with three cheeses and crab omg ! We did all kinds of different "stations" so people could get up and move around and it wasn't so formal like a banquet dinner. That made it really fun and easy for all my friends and family to get what they wanted because I have some vegetarians and some vegans in my group. I would say if you were thinking about getting married at this estate it's obviously gorgeous but also very professional I would highly recommend it!!!

My wedding at Green Gables was flawless! My coordinator was Kay and she was so helpful at creating the best flow of my wedding! I had been set on having my Hawaii theme since I am a native. I was so excited that the team was able to pull off my particular food, decor, and set up JUST THE WAY I WANTED. This venue definitely went above and beyond to make my wedding DIFFERENT. I had a bridal assistant that literally did everything for me! She brought me mimosas and appetizers and was so sweet the whole time. The event manager Ramon really made my parents feel at home which was so important to me since they traveled so far to see my special day. I had such a great journey planning my wedding with Green Gables. Thank you to everyone who made my day so great!
I could not have asked for a more perfect venue. Not only is the venue just beautiful, the staff does an amazing job at making your wedding day visions come to life. They pay attention to every little detail and I had no stress on the day of the wedding because they take care of everything. If you are looking for a wedding venue that takes care of everything and is almost like a "secret garden" then Green Gables is perfect!
Not affordable. yes its beautiful but very cookie cutter, overpriced, ran like a cattle call. seemed very business oriented.
The processs with Green Gables was a disaster. Not worth the money at all. Very unorganized. There will be promises made that aren't kept. Poor communication between staff, meaning you get a new person each time you meet and that person will have no idea of what's going on. It's like starting over every time. Literally if I went on about how terrible my experience was with the process, I would probably cry all one again because it is just so much. I gave 2 stars because not until a week prior to, did they realized how much they had put me through did they finally make an effort. I would have put zero if that didn't happen. Even though they made an effort to change things a week prior to my wedding, it still wasn't a dream come true. Plus the food was just terrible and COLD, which was disappointing because the tasting was a great experience. I tell my husband, can we just have a redo? He laughs at me. Best advice I could give Green Gables is, it's not just about the wedding day, it's also the process of planning the wedding that matters. A year of stress and let downs isn't something any bride wants to go through.

Just had my wedding here last week and it could not have been a more perfect reception! The planning process was made easy as GG provides you with a wedding book and you have 3 coordination meetings. Since you meet with different people each time, some things get lost in translation, but just double check everything and you will be good to go! They provide so much decor ( i chose the classic package and only had to add a couple of things) that it makes it easy to create a beautiful event. Everyone that works there is very helpful and we heard no from so many places or they wanted to charge us extra which is not the case with Green Gables. They want to accomodate your every need. Also, you will save a ton of money on alcohol because you bring your own! (use BevMo) We have received so many compliments on our wedding and I have absolutely no regrets about having it at GG. We had a girl (Taylor?) that followed us around all night just to make sure we had drinks and food. Also, your pictures will be beautiful because the venue is so picturesque and the tent is celebrity quality.
We had our wedding at Green Gables in May, and it was absolutely perfect. We chose this site for the location, rustic charm, and its food/decor packages. We opted for the Premium Package, which included all the decorations and upgraded meals - well worth it since it let me live out all my Pinterest dreams with minimal extra work and stress. Needless to say, the venue itself is beyond beautiful, especially in the spring/summer when the flowers are in full bloom. The team there is so helpful, and everyone went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly, from planning to the day of. These guys basically held our hand the entire time and answered every single crazy question I had. Every single detail was thoughtfully captured, which was crucial the day-of. A HUGE thank you to Daniel - as our planner and day-of coordinator, he hit it out of the park and made sure our day went off without a hitch. Our guests to this day are still commenting on how perfect a day it was.
This wedding venue was so perfect for what we wanted from size, style, price, etc. The staff is incredible and you get to work with a lot of them, but they all get to know your wedding file well. It also helped to have different ideas flowing at each meeting. The food was delicious! They even helped me surprise my groom with a late-night hot dog cart!
Seriously, though. They will do anything to make sure your wedding day is a dream from bringing you sangria when you need it on the actual day to letting me share a Google Doc of my seating chart with them.
They do all the setup, you just drop everything off at the rehearsal, and they did everything perfectly. It made for a very relaxing wedding weekend. If you get married here, you are so blessed and you will just remember your day as one of the best of your life.
One month in and our guests and family are still commenting on how perfect Green Gables Estates was. We live in LA and it is hard to find a nice, outdoors (rustic) wedding venue that was a reasonable and we happened on Green Gables. We came down on a Sunday and signed the contract within 24 hours because it was perfect from the beginning. We had about 3 sit down meetings and each one progressed as quickly or slowly as we needed and felt comfortable with. They ask what you are looking for, offer suggestions and are totally willing to throw in some extra decorations to make you happy. We worked with Daniel the entire time and he was AWESOME (cheers to you, Daniel). All of the stressful wedding planning rumors are true, from guest list to seating charts to bridesmaids dresses , but the easiest thing to do was probably planning the actual wedding ceremony and reception, because Daniel kept saying "oh great idea" or "yep, we can do that, don't even worry about it". We had some vintage lanterns mixed with old books on our tables and he included some gorgeous lounging couches around the property as well (also the old blue truck is perfect for reception pictures). The day of really is quite chaotic mostly because of nerves and excitement, but he had a great sense of what I wanted or needed and even what I didn't know I wanted or needed (like when we got to the venue to get ready and he made sure to lay out a ton of the appetizers just for us so we made sure we all ate beforehand). Seriously everyone there is totally on it to get you down the aisle, keep the parents happy and make sure the guests are well taken care of. I know I read several reviews prior to our wedding and not only do they all hold up, but it was even better than I expected. So, there you have it. I could go on and on about what a wonderful experience the whole day was, but I really need to give props to the coordinators for making it actually happen. Thank you!!
I found Green Gables online and fell in love with it when I came out to San Diego for a family visit. My (now) husband and I toured the venue with his mother and sister and we were all impressed with the entire venue! We loved the vintage touches, the quirky style, and especially the items that were included with the package we ultimately purchased! Daniel was my coordinator and he did an excellent job on our wedding day keeping everything on time and making sure all of our details were taken care of. Since I planned my wedding from the East Coast, this particular venue was ESPECIALLY helpful in making this as stress-free as possible. We had a tragedy during the planning process in the loss of my mother-in-law 3 months prior to the wedding. Green Gables was very sympathetic and accommodating in making necessary changes. They also recommended an excellent DJ who they knew would be sympathetic to our circumstances. Even though we missed her terribly at our wedding, everyone who was working with us, helped us honor her and made sure we enjoyed our day to the fullest. THANK YOU Green Gables!

If you book this venue, you will love the wedding planning process and you will enjoy every minute of your special day.

The venue is beautiful!!! Work with Elham and Christian they are by far the best of the green gables staff!! Elham has a beautiful eye for style and is so sweet!! I can't get over how awesome Christian has been through this process! He would email me back within 24 hours or less and answered all my questions. He also helped us to get our DJ approved and get our wedding insurance on file. Our wedding went off very smooth and Elham did everything she could to make sure that our ceremony was outside. 30 min before the ceremony it was poring rain and she made sure that the chairs got covered with tarps and the harpist was under an umbrella. The rain stopped and we got to have our ceremony outside!! She also gave me an umbrella when it started to rain again while we were waiting to go inside the tent. I would recommend this venue to other brides because of its beauty and those two staff members! The hard part about this venue is that you never know who you are going to work with. I was lucky enough to have found christian early on for all my questions and I requested to work with Elham on my wedding day.
I had the pleasure to work along side Elham, Daniel, and the staff at Green Gables as a bridal assistant for Amy & Mike Hadry's recent March wedding. I was truly blown away by the exceptional service provided throughout the entire wedding planning process! We were so thankful to have Elham as our coordinator! She was so professional, calm, detail oriented, dynamic, full of great tips and so easy to connect with! You can really tell she truly cares about her clients! Everything turned out perfect, and the food was delicious! Their all inclusive packages are great, and I was so amazed on all the beautiful decor, and vintage chic items, and furniture pieces they have on hand and allow their clients to use! What a gorgeous wedding!!! Amy & Mike were so happy, and it really was their dream fairy tale wedding come true! Thank you for all the hard work put into to ensure their wedding was a success! I will definitely refer Green Gables to my future clients, and look forward to working together on future events!
We just got married at Green Gables Wedding estate in December! The staff at Green Gables was so great to work with, they answered my endless questions and really worked with me to get the wedding of our dreams! Even though it rained on our wedding day, Elham and the coordinators did a phenomenal job of making our day beautiful and very special. They set up the ceremony indoors and it was beautifully lit with candles. My favorite part of this venue is the amazing chandeliers on the dance floor. Very classic vintage feel. The bridal suite has gorgeous decor and furniture, which makes for great photos.
