We are happy to announce that as of February 2020, Lead Designer, Shelly, has taken over the business. Shelly is happy to continue the legacy of quality florals, unique design, fab customer service that The Green Thumb represents. Shelly has been a part of The Green Thumb for many years, along with Liz, now Lead Wedding Desginer and together we look forward to moving the buisness forward for the NEXT 32 years. The Green Thumb would like to thank all the clients for their patience during the Covid-19 pandemic/shut down. Together anything is possible. We are happy to announce we are now taking 2023, 2024 and 2025 Weddings! No budget is too small and no idea is too big. We would love to be able to be the ones to make your big day special! Sherry was amazing! We were working with someone else before we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and she honored our deposit, though she had taken over the business, and she has the same creative intuition. I barely talked with her and gave her my colors and preferred flowers and she hit the nail on the head and was prompt for the drop off on the day of the wedding. Excellent bang for your buck and she was flexible too. We chose to just do bouquets and a few smaller items and she didn’t hesitate to take the job. I would recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect flowers for their wedding!

Joyce did the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages for our wedding at The Publick House. She was incredibly nice and when I had to change the order only a couple of weeks before, she was accommodating and made the necessary adjustments. I provided photos of what I was looking for and Joyce shared her expertise about available flowers and additional ideas when we met. The flowers were delivered to The Publick House on the day of the wedding in plenty of time. They were beautiful, matched my vision, and lasted for over a week after the wedding!

Joyce was fantastic. She was about to take a partial image in my head and turn it into exactly what I didn't know I wanted! She didn't try to push more flowers on me than I needed (in fact, she talked me out of expensive centerpieces), and everything was delivered on time. Definitely recommended!

The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I could not have asked for better flowers. The only reason I give her a 4 instead of a 5 is because I had sent her some little mason jars a month and a half or so before the wedding and I guess one was received broken and she never said anything, even when I asked her that she received everything and nothing came in broken - she confirmed all was good. I bought the jars at the Dollar Store - I would have grabbed another and sent it if I had known. We were able to rearrange and improvise but still kind of sucked to walk into as I did all the decorating myself for the day.

Joyce did my wedding flowers this past weekend. Not only did she work through exactly what I wanted in our consult, but the actual delivery of them was spectacular. She kept to my budget AND made arrangements that were just breathtaking and perfect. THANK YOU JOYCE!

I’m giving two stars because the flowers came out flawless. I truly loved them.... but the issue came with billing. We were over charged by around $500 and after spending several days going back and forth we were only reimbursed a portion of that. Initially she stated I had 8 tables and doubled my order to 15 (showed emails and initial quote to discredit this) and then she changed her statement to something along the lines of me doubling something else, but again had emails to show her that this wasn’t accurate either. This was not heard or received at all and it was clear she was not going to own up to her own mistake. She overcharged us for 3 extra boutineers and charged us for a flower ($100) that she didn’t use and then only reimbursed the wholesale rate (she decided to not use the flower because she said it looked terrible but then only reimbursed what she paid for it not what I paid When it wasn’t my choice to no longer use it....) We never once received an apology for these errors. It was so completely disappointing that this was how the situation was handled because I loved The work they did I just Would never deal with them from a business financial stand point ever again.

Joyce did a beautiful job with all of the bouquets and boutonnieres! She made a gorgeous piece for the floor of the head table and my personal favorite, my hair piece! It went perfectly with my dress and hairstyle.

Great flower arrangements. They accomodated our request to incorporate fishing flies into the boutonnieres. The corsages were beautiful and the staff were flexible. The wildflower bouquets were amazing - they matched our theme (both colour and vibe) perfectly and were very well done.

We learned about Green Thumb through our wedding venue, and are so happy that we listened! Joyce is so knowledgeable and an artist when it comes to her craft, not to mention such a sweet person to work with. Joyce made the most beautiful bouquets for me and my bridesmaids, wonderful boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen, and gorgeous floral arrangements that we used both at our ceremony and reception. As a DIY bride, I was planning on tackling the centerpieces myself, however, greatly underestimated my time. She took that task on too, and they were perfect. Joyce took into account my colors and style and because of her fabulous work, our wedding was that much more colorful and beautiful. Thank you Green Thumb!

My flowers turned out exactly as I wanted them to. They looked amazing and lasted a long time. The boutonnieres were turning brown by the end of the night. If you are highly specific you will get what you want of good quality.
