Green with Envy Salon & Spa

If you're looking to schedule a hair or makeup appointment for a wedding - DO NOT book with Green With Envy! After having issues with the salon I had booked hair and makeup services with for my June wedding, I reached out to Green With Envy to see if they would be willing to help. I emailed back and forth with Chelsea, their wedding coordinator, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. Before even sending in my contract, I had her verify that they could do hair styling for myself, bridal party and my mom, and the time that we needed to be done by. Since we're having a morning wedding, I was worried that they couldn't pull the timeline off - but, Chelsea said they had the staff and could do it. I sent in my contract, which included my personal bank information, and Chelsea verified the receipt of it. We began discussing additional nail appointments and said she would get back to me shortly about a finalized time for when we could come in. At this point in time, I cancelled with my other salon. Come to find out, Chelsea cancelled on me a few days later saying that they never had the staff to do it and the start time was too early - details that she verified with me BEFORE I even sent my contract in. My maid of honor took this over and has had a difficult time figuring the situation out. Customer service was super unprofessional and half the time they never returned phone calls, or even called when they said they would. On the phone, they were not understanding and didn't even seem to care that they literally screwed us over. Whatever you do, DO NOT schedule any wedding services with this salon. I'm sure others have had good experiences, but I wouldn't even risk it. You might end up like us - completely out of options for hair and makeup for my wedding day. Worst experience I've ever had dealing with a hair salon.

This is Matt's wife just under his account =). My bridesmaids and I got our hair done the morning of our wedding at Green with Envy. The salon was flexible and the stylists were able to come to my hotel suite to do our hair. The stylists were incredibly fun and patient, making any adjustments to hair that the bridesmaids suggested. They also took into consideration that we would be on a boat later that afternoon from the ceremony to reception site. They were also efficient with time, giving us enough time to take additional photos getting ready. The salon was also flexible in scheduling a trial with the same stylist who did my hair the morning of the wedding. Thank you Green with Envy for making me look and feel absolutely beautiful!

These ladies came to our venue at Point Lookout and did a fantastic job! They came right in and set up and were done in a timely fashion! We each had our hair and makeup done including having the false eye lashes! We all looked absolutely gorgeous and you ladies did a wonderful job!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Green with Envy Salon. They are a relatively new salon located in Rockland, Maine. The package I decided to get was to rent out the salon for a half-day (which was 4 hours), which included hair and make-up for 8 girls. The salon also provided a fruit plate, water, and champagne and o.j. for mimosas. Not only are all the woman very friendly and super nice, but they are also incredibly talented. My pre-trial hair and make up were included in the package price and they did a wonderful job going over with me exactly what I wanted. I knew pretty much what I wanted to look like the day of my wedding, and they were so helpful in doing and redoing my hair and makeup until we both knew exactly what I wanted. This salon uses completely natural and organic products, which honestly isn't why I chose this salon, but it worked out great, as none of our hair looked crunchy or had that "helmet" look from too much product. The makeup used was the airbrush kind, which I had never used but absolutely loved it! Our makeup looked wonderful in pictures and stayed on the entire night. I loved this salon and wish it was actually located where I live, not just where I got married :) I highly recommend this salon to brides!
