Greencrest Manor

Greencrest post-COVID, but are still devastated not to get to celebrate there again (trying to convince my husband to agree to a 10 year anniversary celebration instead!). The venue is even more beautiful than you see in pictures - you are truly transported to a completely different place when you are at Greencrest. Originally, we planned to do a destination wedding in Europe, and this was the venue that changed our minds and made us get married in Michigan - I cannot give a better review than that! Jenn and her team make you feel like you are a part of their family - I still get teary thinking about how beautiful our intimate ceremony and dinner were, and how cozy it was to have coffee and chat in the gorgeous living room to wind down. Jenn and her team have a passion for what they do and it shows in all the details. They are amazing to work with, genuinely kind and loving people that literary go above and beyond to make the day more perfect that you can imagine. I am so grateful to Jenn and her team for everything they did to make my wedding day the best day of my life!!

could have ever imagined thanks to all of the hardworking staff here. The venue is absolutely stunning on its own, but they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all weekend long. We are still getting phone calls and texts from our guests applauding the level of service that was provided. It meant so much to us that all of our guests were prioritized and taken care of here. duled due to covid and we were determined to still get married on our original wedding date. We reached out to the Greencrest Team and they took over planning every single thing from florals to caterings and everything in between - we truly just had to show up and they took care of the rest. It's incredibly hard to put into words what that weekend meant to us as we celebrated our wedding in a new way, but honestly we now couldn't have imagined it any other way. Greencrest Manor is a stunning venue that has been curated and intentionally designed by Jenn - from the gorgeous rooms to the incredible grounds; it is truly a remarkable place. What I believe makes it even more special is the feeling you have while you're there and the immeasurable hospitality and warmth that Jenn, Dave, and the whole team has. We immediately felt like we were welcomed into their group and taken care of from the moment we walked through the door and were greeted with champagne - it was the little things they did the make sure we knew they had it. As a wedding planner, that is something that money cannot buy. If I could get married again and again, I would choose Greencrest Manor - not just cause it's gorgeous but because you become a part of their family.

ave been transported back in time to some beautiful estate a duke or heiress would reside in. Our outdoor wedding had one of the most grand backdrops ever with the manor behind us and made our photos look like they were from another world. The estate itself is stunning and incredibly well kept. The size of it all allows you to utilize multiple areas for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - providing your guests with an experience to roam they grounds, that could never be duplicated by some expensive hotel with a grand ballroom. The entirety of it provided the most elegant setting for our photos that many of our friends have told us should be submitted to Vogue. If you think you like this style of venue for your wedding I STRONGLY recommend it. Janet Marcus is the proprietor of the estate and we could not have been happier to have her. She is meticulous with details and wants everything to perfect - not for you, but for her! You can tell that while she cares about getting everything right for you, she cares just as much about everything looking and feeling perfect. Takes the worry out of a LOT of the details. She is incredibly accommodating and her staff makes sure everything goes off without a hitch. I cannot thank Janet enough for her professionalism and attention to detail. You helped make this special day perfect.

Other rooms available for out of state guests.;The owner is very head strong and has a lot of restrictions. Make sure to have a copy of the agreement with the total amount due she tried to charge us extra than what was agreed in the contract. The manor does not have a license to serve alcholic beverages. Only for weddings less than 150 people. Ceremonys start at 1:00pm and must end no later than 7:00pm no evening weddings.
