The Greencrest staff went WAY above and beyond to give us the most incredible wedding we could imagine. We gave them a lot of creative license in designing our reception layout, and they went far above our wildest expectations. Our every need was catered to, and they did everything possible to make our wedding day about us. I can't say enough about how amazing they are.

Our wedding at Greencrest was perfect and it is all thanks to Jenn and the wonderful team. Greencrest is the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever been to, but on top of it, Jenn and the team are the best team I have ever worked with. They work with you throughout the whole planning process and are there if you have any questions or need any help. On the wedding day, they are very hands on and always have a plan in place to make your day stress-free. My experience as a bride with Greencrest was perfect. I can’t thank Jenn and the team enough for all the planning and hard work they put into making our dream wedding a reality.

We had our wedding at Greencrest in July 2023. After a pretty mild and dry May and June, July rolled in with humidity and storms. GCM had a plan B, C, and D to address the rain. In order to address the heat, we made the call on the morning of to have cold towels for our guests. GCM didn't blink and had them done in a few hours. During cocktail hour they opened up the manor for people to cool off before the reception. On the dance floor, I asked if they could roll in the fans, and they were out within minutes. The venue itself is the best we've seen in the midwest. To compare, Kohler had too many rules and restrictions and LFA's layout was narrow and stuffy. The flow of the ceremony on the back lawn, to cocktail hour on the verandas, and then the reception in the celebration house, cannot be beat. We loved that each area of the property and room in the house has its own vibe and energy. On top of all of that, the grounds of the manor are superb. Our guests were in awe of the manor's beauty. You’ll save on florals simply because of Jenn's green thumb and her grounds staff. All of our guests felt extremely well taken care of. More than one guest needed to use the golf cart to get around the property. One was feeding an infant at GCM's lake house (highly recommend renting) and was taken to/from by cart. Another had Parkinson's and when their legs gave out, they were given a ride to their car. At the end of the night we had a guest that wasn't feeling well. GCM called an ambulance and got her the medical treatment she needed. They also called her hotel to make sure her dog in the hotel room was okay. We felt horrible about this end of the night fiasco, but Jenn and her team made us feel like it was no big deal and that put us at ease. Finally, GCM was clutch when one of our hotel's had a pipe clog and shut off water for the entire weekend. We had to relocate 50-some guests within a short amount of time. Our day-of-planner helped us coordinate a new bus shuttle itinerary and get the guests rebooked in Kalamazoo. They also let us stay at the manor an extra night because we didn't have the time to go to Kalamazoo to shower and get ready for our rehearsal. Overall, we cannot recommend Greencrest enough. Our only complaint is that one day at the manor goes by too quickly.

My husband and I were married at the GORGEOUS Greencrest! Regardless of the heat, the day was perfect - with plenty of places to cool off from the sun. All of our guests kept telling us that the day felt "magical", and it was! The Greencrest Team is VERY hands on throughout the planning process and really there for you towards the end (so don't stress!). They will help with connecting you to all the right people, answer every question, and will make the wedding of your dreams. You will become part of the Greencrest family, and make a lot of memories and new friends. Cannot recommend the venue and staff enough <3

I cannot say enough positive things about Greencrest Manor. Not only is the venue stunning on its own, the team is incredibly accommodating, caring, and design-oriented — there is truly no better place in Michigan (or arguably, the Midwest area at large) for a beautiful, customized wedding. Unlike typical venues that offer a few standard place setting and decor options with upgrades available, Greencrest is just as inspired as you are and will find whatever it is you're looking for — whether it's gold flatware, matte white Pottery Barn-style plates, or a disco ball and baby's breath ceiling installation (in my case). All floral and decor is done in-house (with the option to add signage), so you basically just have to show up with your dress the day-of. If you're a design-oriented person that wants your wedding to feel unique and beautiful, Greencrest Manor is it. The team cares just as much as you do about making your wedding feel and look stunning. My guests were in awe of this hidden Battle Creek gem! I wouldn't change a thing about our day. Thank you to the owner Jenn for personally running back to our hotel to grab the Groomsmen ties that my now husband forgot 20 minutes before photos started — this is just one example of how above and beyond the entire Greencrest team is!

My husband and I had our wedding at Greencrest Manor this past summer and it was truly a dream. To start, everywhere you look is the most picturesque, instagramable backdrop you will find for a wedding venue. Beautiful gardens, vintage structures, adorable outdoor patio furniture and of course, the gorgeous ivy manor. On the inside of the manor, it is just as beautiful and exactly what any couple would want for the day of their wedding. Every room is perfectly decorated for the perfect getting ready photos and the staircase in the center of the home is truly eye catching. To compliment this beautiful manor is an equally amazing staff. From setting up our getting ready rooms to providing a pack n play for my niece to take a nap before the wedding, Jenn and her team truly do not miss a beat. One of my favorite memories was after our wedding one of the team members sent me a text saying, “I know you didn’t have a videoagrapher but I thought that you might want your vows recorded so I recorded them on my phone”— that is just one of the many examples showing what big hearts this staff has for their clients and it’s something we will cherish forever! If you’re thinking about Greencrest as your wedding venue, you will not be disappointed!

My best friend got married at Greencrest last year and this venue is hands down the most beautiful venue I have ever attended. The driveway alone is picturesque and so inviting. I wouldn't have guessed such a place to be located in Michigan in all honesty. To top off the lavish romantic grounds setting - Jenn and her team are amazing! She made my friend at ease throughout her whole weekend and as a MOH made my job easier haha. I even remember seeing Jenn on a ladder putting up the many strings of lights herself (which I was just wowed) to her and Ali shaking up the many espresso martinis at the end as the nightcap cocktail (yummy). Definitely hands on and cares that their couple's design concepts comes to fruition. Definitely a weekend to remember! Thank you!

My daughter and son-in-law were recently married at Greencrest Manor and I am beyond pleased with Jenn and her team for the magnificent job they did on the planning and execution of this memorable day for our family. From the first moment I stepped foot on this property, I immediately knew it was someplace special. I’ve traveled the world extensively for my career and vacations alike, and this property reminds me of something I’ve seen in the countryside of France or Italy. But the beauty of this place does not mean automatic success especially with the complexity and needs of planning a wedding. Fortunately, Greencrest is in great hands. Her beauty is only enhanced by the amazing group of individuals that care for and tend to the guests that enter her gates. I’ve learned over the years that passion and excellence often run hand in hand. Jenn and her staff are truly passionate with what they do, starting from the top and flowing down through every person that works there creating a true venue of excellence.

This is a fabulous venue for a wedding. No others topped this one in our minds for a Michigan weekend wedding. Our daughter and finance lived in New York City when they chose Greencrest for their wedding in October of 2021 and then the pandemic hit. What was going to happen here? Nothing but positive things happened. All communication was safe and done with full attention to detail; meetings for final plans were met with safe thoughts and thorough adventure each time into the nostalgia and specialness of Greencrest Manor itself. There was never a doubt in our minds that a full weekend wedding was not the best choice for our ‘little’ family wedding. Jenn and her staff and Allie, our guide, were so gracious and caring every step of the way. Any questions were answered and all plans were put into play meticulously. Everyone knew what was going on when and what they needed to do on the day of and Friday before. As the mother of the bride, I only needed to give my opinion and it was put into play. If anyone needs a 10 star rating it is Greencrest and their staff and amenities. I have relived this so many times in my dreams since October of 2021 and I am still enamored in the magic of the weekend for all our guests, bridal party, friends and our daughter and her new husband. We love you Greencrest and we will be planning another special event in the future and continue to support your venue whenever we can.

I don’t leave too many reviews, but I just had to express my appreciation for the wonderful job you did for my granddaughter's recent wedding. Everything was so beautiful. Their vows were exchanged in your lovely garden, followed by a cocktail reception in the courtyard area and an amazing dinner at the reception hall. Although everything is close in proximity, I still had a hard time walking and standing for a long period of time. The staff at Greencrest was always so caring and friendly, helping me to navigate the property and getting me a chair to sit down in each spot I went to at the manor. The entire staff seemed like they genuinely cared about each guest that was there (even the grandmas!) Thank you for all that you did to accommodate my needs and for making such a memorable experience for all of us who traveled a long way to celebrate this wonderful day.

We found Greencrest online back in 2019 and immediately reached out. We were greeted with excitement and warmth. But the moment we stepped foot onto the property we were speechless. The photos do not even do this place justice. Our ceremony was outside with a European style landscape which is a dream we thought could only happen if we chose a destination wedding. I could go on and on about the breathtaking views, gardens, and locations on the property that were available for us and our guests to enjoy; as the venue speaks for itself when it comes the beauty and romance of a dream wedding venue. However, what makes this place truly special is Jenn, the owner, and her dedicated team. Ali was our coordinator who literally took care of every hiccup, every little thing we needed the weekend of our wedding, including boxing up my bouquet to be sent out in the mail the next day. Their attention to detail during our wedding weekend was paramount (which included a Murder Mystery welcome party on Friday, wedding on Saturday and Sunday brunch). Jenn spent 3 straight days setting up the celebration house just to bring our reception design to life, so I would say they went above and beyond in every single way possible. Jenn and the Greencrest team poured their hearts and souls into making sure my husband and I, our family, and our guests, had the most positive, stress-free, and unforgettable wedding experience. Not once did we feel like we were just "another customer" - we always felt valued, and like family. The connection we had with them made our wedding SO much more memorable. From our initial contact, and design meetings, up to our post wedding brunch, our experience overall was seamless. We got married in October of 2021 and even till this day people are RAVING about our wedding saying it was THE most beautiful wedding and best time they've ever had at a wedding. Investing and trusting the biggest event of our lives, to Jenn and her team, was one of the best decisions we have ever made.

Greencrest Manor is the hidden gem in Michigan!!! The venue alone— the gorgeous gardens, the beautiful Manor, the extraordinary celebration house as well as the charming other magical spots on the grounds- all would make a bride swoon but then add on the most delightful staff!!! They welcome you with such grace and helpful suggestions for your special day- and they didn’t miss a beat!!! As the mother of the bride, I was so concerned about missing something my daughter wanted or needed on her special day—- the staff at Greencrest didn’t miss a single detail and I was able to relax and enjoy the day!

Jenn has been in the event planning business for many years and is one of the kindest people we have ever had the pleasure to work with. Over the years, she has built a remarkable team that is top notch in their field. They display an unparalleled level of service and professionalism. They are attentive to your every need, most of the time jumping in to assist before you even ask for help. From the first time we visited to days beyond our event, we have felt cared for by this amazing team. We could go on and on about Greencrest because it is truly that incredible. 10 Stars ++++ for this stunning venue and their talented team of individuals!

This venue is absolutely breathtaking. My sister hosted her wedding and reception here and I can't even begin to explain how special this place is! First off you can tell that the owner Jenn has taken her years of experience as a planner and had built a dream venue. Every single detail has been thought of -- from the adorable "she shed" for hair and makeup to the pump house, amazing covered reception area, beautiful patio seating, intimate ceremony spot .. I could go on and on. This venue truly has EVERYTHING! The staff is the best in the business and magically take away all the stress of your special day. They are easy to work with, accommodating of unique requests and know how to nail every detail! The grounds are breathtaking. You can tell that so much time, love and care is put into maintaining this amazing property. The gardens are unlike anything I've ever seen! Don't miss out on this gem!!

My husband and I went there to do our 25th wedding anniversary shoot. While the grounds are absolutely GORGEOUS, the staff that day (2 girls) were, well...less than. When we got there, the girls working didn't know who the hell we were or more so, gave a crap WHO we were. They couldn't be bothered to tell us where to go or anything. The groundskeeper however, was super friendly and helped us out a little bit. Nutshell? The property is gorgeous, but be prepared to go there and not have the staff even know you are there.

Greencrest Manor was the most wonderful, magical place to have our COVID minimony. The team there made our day so special and intimate, and we will cherish those memories forever. We did ultimately decide not to have a big "2.0" celebration at Greencrest post-COVID, but are still devastated not to get to celebrate there again (trying to convince my husband to agree to a 10 year anniversary celebration instead!). The venue is even more beautiful than you see in pictures - you are truly transported to a completely different place when you are at Greencrest. Originally, we planned to do a destination wedding in Europe, and this was the venue that changed our minds and made us get married in Michigan - I cannot give a better review than that! Jenn and her team make you feel like you are a part of their family - I still get teary thinking about how beautiful our intimate ceremony and dinner were, and how cozy it was to have coffee and chat in the gorgeous living room to wind down. Please get married here if you are considering it!

I can’t say enough good things about Greencrest. Not only is it the most gorgeous outdoor venue with gardens that rival the magazines, the manor itself will transport you to a European bed and breakfast that is so lavishly decorated it feels like a dream. The owners Jenn and David and they’re adorable pup Josie treat every person as though they are family entering their home. Jenn and her team have a passion for what they do and it shows in all the details. They are amazing to work with, genuinely kind and loving people that literary go above and beyond to make the day more perfect that you can imagine. I am so grateful to Jenn and her team for everything they did to make my wedding day the best day of my life!!

We changed our venue plans last minute to provide a safer outdoor atmosphere for our guests during this time and chose to have our wedding here at the Greencrest Manor. By no means did this ever feel like a plan B wedding. It was better than we could have ever imagined thanks to all of the hardworking staff here. The venue is absolutely stunning on its own, but they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all weekend long. We are still getting phone calls and texts from our guests applauding the level of service that was provided. It meant so much to us that all of our guests were prioritized and taken care of here. I highly recommend any event to be held here- it was such a dream.

My husband and I celebrated our elopement celebration at Greencrest Manor and it was truly magical! From the moment we stepped on site, Jenn and Dave welcomed us as if we we were family! We were a couple whose original wedding plans were rescheduled due to covid and we were determined to still get married on our original wedding date. We reached out to the Greencrest Team and they took over planning every single thing from florals to caterings and everything in between - we truly just had to show up and they took care of the rest. It's incredibly hard to put into words what that weekend meant to us as we celebrated our wedding in a new way, but honestly we now couldn't have imagined it any other way. Greencrest Manor is a stunning venue that has been curated and intentionally designed by Jenn - from the gorgeous rooms to the incredible grounds; it is truly a remarkable place. What I believe makes it even more special is the feeling you have while you're there and the immeasurable hospitality and warmth that Jenn, Dave, and the whole team has. We immediately felt like we were welcomed into their group and taken care of from the moment we walked through the door and were greeted with champagne - it was the little things they did the make sure we knew they had it. As a wedding planner, that is something that money cannot buy. If I could get married again and again, I would choose Greencrest Manor - not just cause it's gorgeous but because you become a part of their family.

Greencrest is a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding. The staff there were easy to work with in planning our wedding and our wedding day went very smoothly. The one downside was having to rent the tables and chairs from a separate vendor. Overall, it was a great venue.

Magic. Timeless. Beauty beyond words. Just a few words to describe the elegant setting you get when you have your wedding or event at Greencrest Manor. Photos really don't do this place justice, as when you're there you really feel like you have been transported back in time to some beautiful estate a duke or heiress would reside in. Our outdoor wedding had one of the most grand backdrops ever with the manor behind us and made our photos look like they were from another world. The estate itself is stunning and incredibly well kept. The size of it all allows you to utilize multiple areas for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - providing your guests with an experience to roam they grounds, that could never be duplicated by some expensive hotel with a grand ballroom. The entirety of it provided the most elegant setting for our photos that many of our friends have told us should be submitted to Vogue. If you think you like this style of venue for your wedding I STRONGLY recommend it. Janet Marcus is the proprietor of the estate and we could not have been happier to have her. She is meticulous with details and wants everything to perfect - not for you, but for her! You can tell that while she cares about getting everything right for you, she cares just as much about everything looking and feeling perfect. Takes the worry out of a LOT of the details. She is incredibly accommodating and her staff makes sure everything goes off without a hitch. I cannot thank Janet enough for her professionalism and attention to detail. You helped make this special day perfect.

A beautiful manor straight out of Europe with an allee of trees leading to the front door. Complete with fountains and pots brimming with flowers extensive grounds and perennial garden. Ceremony and reception outdoors with alternate location inside the manor. Free rein to all the grounds and first floor of the manor and an option to rent one of the bed and breakfast rooms with a private hot tub and fireplace in room. Other rooms available for out of state guests.;The owner is very head strong and has a lot of restrictions. Make sure to have a copy of the agreement with the total amount due she tried to charge us extra than what was agreed in the contract. The manor does not have a license to serve alcholic beverages. Only for weddings less than 150 people. Ceremonys start at 1:00pm and must end no later than 7:00pm no evening weddings.
