We are so happy with Gregory’s work for our engagement and wedding. He captured the special moments we asked for and much, much more. We especially appreciate his ability to capture candid moments in such a beautiful, natural way- which is a large part of why we wanted to work with him in the first place. Not only do we love his work, we enjoyed working with him on the day of our wedding. He was early, got right to work and stayed until the very end of the night. He had us laughing throughout the day, which helped us feel more relaxed. With that being said, it is helpful to know that he was hard to get ahold of at times throughout the planning process and did require follow up emails/calls to get questions answered and plans finalized, but I think he is getting better with this and had been more easily accessible by email in the later stages of our work together. Overall, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our photos and recommend him for his beautiful work!

We hired Greg to be our wedding photographer for our wedding on 4/28/23. Greg had a great eye when it came to detail, and also helped make sure we looked like naturals in our photographs (we are NOT naturals). Greg's prices were more than reasonable, and he provided hundreds of photos, and additional time, in comparison to what one would typically get for his price-point. He really worked hard to understand what we wanted in our photographs, and went above and beyond to achieve it. We highly recommend Greg!

My husband, Michael and I just adored working with Gregory for our engagement shoot as well as on our wedding day. Both days were just perfect and Gregory certainly went above and beyond to make sure that we had a wonderful experience. On the day of our engagement shoot it actually was snowing and Gregory wasn’t afraid to get completely covered in snow to get some great shots for us. Our wedding day was mostly overcast but all of our photos still came out fantastic and Gregory had such vision. It really shined through. My husband Caleb and I loved worked with Gregory for our wedding on April 16th, 2023. We hired him as a stand alone photographer and he did not sit still all day long. He was running around the whole day making sure he captured every important moment and did not miss one of them. We received many compliments on the photos as well. Gregory is absolutely wonderful. We were nervous about our engagement session as it was the first professional photos we've ever taken. he made us so comfortable and made us feel "confident" in our photos. the tricks he taught us on that session alone will stay with me forever. even pictures I take with friends and family come out better due to his tips and tricks. the day of the wedding we planned on meeting between 12 and 1 for a 330 start time which was absolutely perfect. me and my bridal party arrived to the venue at 830 am to start getting ready. by the time my makeup and hair stylists were set up, I get a text from gregory saying "I'm here!!" He wanted to take the extra time to walk the grounds to get a feel and make sure to account for traffic or anything else that could occur. after all the chaos that occurred the prior week with other wedding planning (including the reverend canceling the day before the wedding) he was our saving grace. I was so impressed. he spent time with us all day. it ended being the first 105 degree day in May like EVER. the spot we picked for a first look was in the blaring sun. he took the time to walk the entire grounds to find a better spot. it was PERFECT. now for the reception. he was EVERYWHERE. but at the same time, not even noticed. I never once had to ask him to catch that perfect moment, he was already there. I took a moment to dance with my handicapped uncle, in his chair, very discreetly to not draw attention and much to my surprise when I got our sneak peak.. Gregory caught that special moment. I am still in awe... During dinner my husband and I took a moment to watch him work... we were so impressed and could just see his mind running. after the wedding ended he was still there working. he had a 14 hour day, in the blaring sun, and he was there smiling the whole time. I couldn't recommend anyone more than him. I even have guests commenting on how wonderful he was. he not only caught special moments for us, but for our guests as well. 5 stars and then some!

Gregory photographed my engagement session and my wedding. He is very understanding and wants his clients to be happy. He had good ideas for posing and explained how to position ourselves. He also photoshoped some imperfections on our portraits which I great , especially that we used them as save the dates and some big prints on our wall. He is really cool as a person too. Because he did such a great job I'll be hiring him to do my gender reveal party and pregnancy session as well.

We reached out to Gregory just a couple weeks before our wedding since we were concerned our family photographer wouldn’t be able to travel overseas and he was responsive and met with us quickly to go over what we were looking for as far as wedding photos. Luckily he was available for our wedding date. He was very reliable and came to our church reception and also traveled to another destination for more photographs. He took his time during the photos and made us feel comfortable, made us laugh and not rushed at all. Gregory had finished our photo portfolio about a week after our wedding. I would recommend Gregory Hitchcock photography as he did an amazing job with our wedding photos.

We absolutely loved our wedding photos from Gregory. It took longer to get the photos back after the wedding than he initially estimated, and he was not always prompt in responding to emails. But he was great to work with in person for the engagement shoot and on our wedding day (he showed up early and stayed a little late, and was generally helpful and flexible), and the final results (engagement photos, wedding photos, and the wedding album included in the package) were all so beautiful.

The price is what made me book, but he is unprofessional and unresponsive. We were trying to book our engagement shoot for WEEKS and he did not respond to any of the 4 emails that were sent from myself & wedding planner, yet he was active on Instagram. If you check other wedding websites you will see similar reviews, silly me did not check. Save yourself the headache. After a death in the family he agreed to refund my deposit, and every time he said he will send the check, he never did. I had to HOUND him like a debt collector for a MONTH before he sent a check. He would not reply to my emails so I had to message him on Instagram. Like seriously???? And then I can see he read my messages but still did not respond. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Greg photographed our wedding and reception. He was a true professional and really worked to make sure our day and pictures were special. He was also an integral part of keeping our day on schedule. I would absolutely recommend Greg to anyone looking for a photographer for their special day. Rating 11/10!

Gregory did an amazing job photographing our engagement shoot and our small wedding in May. He was very flexible and accommodating to all that was going on during these crazy times, and made sure that we were happy with our photos. He is very polite and professional, and was early to each event. Greg does a fantastic job capturing who you are as a couple in his photos and takes the time to learn about you and your style. His packages also include so many great bonuses. All of our photos came out amazing and my husband and I couldn’t be happier. Gregory was fantastic! Not only was he professional but also personable and made everything flow smoothly during our wedding day, even joking around to make sure we felt at ease :) He made sure to communicate everything about what he wanted us to do and what he was looking for, as well as listen to our requests for family photos, couple shots, etc. I was a little worried about flashes or shutter sounds going off during the ceremony and being distracted, but Gregory did such a wonderful job of being in the background and being professional throughout the ceremony! Greg photographed our engagement session in June 2019 and our September wedding in Michigan. He was very professional , but also personable. He came with his own ideas, but was willing to incorporate any of our harebrained ideas we brought to the table. Our engagement session was all outdoors. He managed to work around vehicle and foot traffic making sure we were always the center of attention for each shot. We were a bit nervous being photographed in general and he was amazing at putting us at ease and trying to get us to be more natural for the pictures. He took time to incorporate some of the local color and make the photos more personal. For the wedding, it seemed like he was in 10 different places at any given time. He took photos of bridal preparation at the salon, table set up at the venue, groomsman photos, guests arriving, first look and accessories all before the ceremony even began. He made absolutely sure to get every single picture we specifically asked for and then some. It was not uncommon to see him standing on chairs, crawling on the floor or hanging on pillars to get the perfect angle for each shot all while never taking the guests' attention from the bride and groom at all! His website was very easy to navigate and he offers downloads and prints of all pictures taken. He even does beautiful photo books to commemorate your big day. Overall, he took a huge amount of pictures and we were so incredibly happy with his work.

We are so happy we found Gregory to document our wedding day. From the beginning he was always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Our ceremony and reception were both indoors so we were worried about getting quality pictures in low lighting, but Gregory had the experience and the equipment to light the space and capture every moment perfectly. Even though it was just him, he managed to be everywhere at once and didn't miss a photo opportunity. We'll cherish these photos forever!

My now-Husband(!) and I found Gregory on Thumbtack.com. We were immediately impressed with how his images seemed to capture the many feelings of the event without seeming like the subjects were merely moving through a prescribed list of shots, whether posed or not. I really appreciate candid, one-in-a-million shots, and I felt like Gregory managed to capture plenty of those. Matt and I were bad planners and didn't get an engagement session done before our wedding, but Gregory showed up ready to go with a plan and some minor directives for us. i.e. Be ready by this time, have jewelry/shoes/perfume set out over here, have the flowers delivered by this time, etc. He made all the little things super simple and then took it from there. My hair/makeup vendor even commented on how professional and on top of things he was. I was nervous that we wouldn't have much time between our ceremony and reception for artistic shots (we chose not to do a 1st look) but Gregory managed to capture plenty of shots with amazing views and still got all our fam portraits in at the church after the ceremony ended. Our reception was short, sweet and compact on a 4 hour dinner cruise aboard the Odyssey Harbor Cruise ship and Gregory was ever-present capturing what I'm sure will be the perfect mix of family, friends, dinner, cake and dancing. Mixed in with a few more amazing shots of us up on the top deck with the Boston Skyline behind us. We were very pleased with Gregory's affordability and felt like we were getting such a great deal with his all inclusive package. Gregory was quick to send us 5 amazing sneak peek shots and we can tell based on those (and the couple that he showed us that night from the camera screen) that he has surpassed anything we thought we were expecting. We can't wait to see the final product! We both recommend Gregory very highly and will hopefully work with him again should the need arise.

Greg did an amazing job with our engagement photos and our wedding photography- I just got married Saturday but know the images will be spectacular. In terms of the actual day- Greg was incredibly prompt and early to each location- which during the course of the day- was actually three locations including handling his second shooter-Mikey who also does a spectacular job. He described poses really well to our whole wedding party, family and us ourselves. He is willing to try anything to get the perfect shot and really makes it a fun experience for everyone involved. For the cost- he is a huge deal because his work and his technique is superb.

My husband and I reached out to Greg after viewing his portfolio via The Knot. From first meeting Greg to our wedding day (which was over 1 year), we knew we chose the best! Greg was so easy to work with, as we asked Greg to include my children in the Engagement Shoot, and asked for 2 locations in completely different towns. So, so glad I heard about Gregory Hitchcock photography when I did! I was in the fence about whether or not to hire a photographer for our wedding, but once I got in touch with him, all of my apprehension went out the window. He committed more time and effort than we could have possibly asked for, and spent more than the allotted time with us for both events! Gregory is a very nice person and listens to the ideas you want to include during your photoshoot. His photos are well done and he was open to lightening them how we wanted. My biggest concern with Gregory is that he was slow in responding to us and took two times longer, past dates he had told us our photos would be ready by. Lastly, our biggest regret when working with him is that he told us he would give us $300 back due to his lack of responsiveness and never sent us a check for that; in relation to that event I was disappointed in his professionalism.

Greg was very accommodating and easy to work with! He did an engagement session with us a month before our wedding which was laid back and a lot of fun. My husband (who does not like having his picture taken) even loosened up eventually and was able to enjoy himself. During our wedding Greg arrived on time and prepared (which is more than I can say for our florist). He covered everything about our day but was never in the way, and produced beautiful images for us to remember always.

Punctuality- Greg was on time (early in fact). Personality- Greg can come off as a bit serious, but he's easy to shoot with. Professionalism- Lots of equipment available but he knows how to use it! Greg will make you feel comfortable in your own skin. He'll tell you that you look great (which makes you feel great!) and won't make you feel uncomfortable about shooting boudoir.

Greg captured so many great moments from our wedding. Looking back on our photos is like reliving it all over again, and he managed to capture so many other moments we missed or weren't expecting. He was present for everything from the very beginning of the day all the way to the end. One of my favorite parts of the day was when we were doing bridal party photos and we were all having fun and so relaxed. He's very easy to work with yet still managed to keep everything moving along (I elected for groups and groups of family photos!) and was very professional as well. We would recommend him to anyone!

Gregory did a PHENOMENAL job with our wedding pictures! Let me start off with the day itself- Gregory made himself available the entire day to literally take pictures of everything that was going on. He is a very friendly person who is easy to work with. We had 22 people in our wedding party...yet he was still able to handle all of the chaos! Our wedding pictures turned out to be better than what we hoped for. They were candid and very natural. He was meticulous about certain elements, and with others, he just really captured the fun of our wedding. I worked with Greg during a boudoir Photoshoot. Before we even set up the actual shoot, he had emailed me and we brainstormed some ideas together with pinterest pictures, so he could deliver exactly the vision i was going after. During the shoot things were very streamline and I knew what to expect because he is a wonderful communicator. He was on time, organized, respectful and patient. I was a little nervous having never done a shoot before, and he was good at gently getting me out of my shell. If he needed a certain angle or look that I wasn't delivering or didn't know how to convey, he offered suggestions for different ways to pose and was patient as I worked my way through understanding what makes a good photo. He allowed me to see what looked good during the process so I could improve. It was a wonderful experience for me and I picked up some really great information along the way from him. I must say, he is particularly good at finding good lighting. 5 stars.

If I could put 10 Stars I would. I had such an awesome experience with having Greg as the photographer for my engagement photos and wedding photos. Him and his assistant were so kind and we never felt uncomfortable with them once. He made you feel like a million bucks and with the way his pictures come out.. they look like a million bucks. I can't recommended him enough for any of your photography needs. I really don't need to do much work but show his pictures off to my friends and you will fall in love with his style of photography. Everyone knows when picking a photographer... you want to make the right decision. This was an investment that my husband and I were so glad we made.

My fiancée and I recently got married and held a reception in Boston over the Memorial Day weekend (2017). In planning, it was important for us that we be able to host an intimate but exciting and organic dance party with close friends and family. As a result, we desired a photography staff that would operate seamlessly to capture our event. The photography service Greg provided for our reception was outstanding! In preparation, he met with us to get a sense of our tastes and share his experience as a photographer/artist. Additionally, he asked us to prepare ‘like’ and ‘dislike’ boards (on Pinterest) with photographic elements we liked and disliked, respectively. This allowed him to incorporate these elements in his work for us. Additionally, we provided Greg with a schedule of events for the Wedding so that he could anticipate/plan for how the day/night might evolve. And finally, the night before the event, we discussed final plans for the wedding day to resolve any open questions. Greg’s professionalism in handling/managing allowed my wife and I to thoroughly enjoy the company of our guests and the party without being concerned about logistics. Specifically, he was punctual and prepared to capture the day. His artistic sense complimented by his directive allowed him to capture numerous momentous/priceless photographs that my wife and I will always cherish. Greg is a master of his art and was an absolute pleasure to work with!

A truly amazing experience! I am not a bride. I am not married. I just really wanted some images that showed my sexy side and the studio made it happen! I really enjoy motorcycling and we were able to shoot on my bike, at the beach, at sunrise. It was amazing. I am in love with my loves. I am not a bride or a bride to be. I just decided that I really wanted some beauty, amazing, photos that showcased my sexy side while I was still young. I asked around a some of my friends had used Boston Beauty shots before as part of their wedding package. It was an unbelievably amazing process. They helped me figure out exactly what I wanted then made it all happen. I thought this would be something done at a hotel room somewhere, but they got my into Highrise condo so we could shoot on the rooftop with the skyline behind me. And the photos were amazing! I almost cried when I saw them. The shoot was a little on the pricey side, but it was totally worth it.

Male client here! I decided to book a boudoir because I'd lost a bunch of weight and wanted to make a gift for my wife. I didnt think guys did this till a friend recommended it. Totally smooth experience. I meant with their creative team beforehand we talked about some ideas I talked about how much I really like my motorcycle and very able to include it in the shoot it was really awesome. Maybe I'll do it again in a couple years.

I loved it! This was my first boudoir photo shoot I've done. The photographer was very professional and made me feel comfortable. Did this as an anniversary gift for my husband, he loved them!! I was very nervous because I had never done anything like this before. However the photographer Greg, and the stylist help be first think about what I wanted, then made it happen and made it a ton of fun. Definitely a great experience!

An Amazing Artist and a true pro! A sexy photoshoot is something I have wanted to do for quite sometime. I really desired some fine images done while I was young. I decided to make it a gift for my husband for our anniversary. I really have no idea what to expect. I booked a session and at the initial meeting they first asked all about me. What I wanted, what I did not, really helped me visualize what I wanted the final images to me. At the shoot I was so nervous but they made it an amazing experience. They showed me how to pose, how to smile, it was all so smooth and fun! My husband was blown away by the album. We are both so happy with how the images turned out.

I hired Gregory last year for a boudoir session because it was something I always wanted to try and I wanted something very special to give my husband for our anniversary. We met in person beforehand and had a discussion about ideas and styles, how the shoot would go, how to prep, and what I had in mind for the final images. There were so many options, I had no idea but he explained everything and answered all my questions. When it came time for the shoot I was pretty nervous but he made me feel very comfortable. I was also able to bring a friend with to the shoot which a lot of other photographers didn't allow. Posing was fun and easy. I received my proof in a week and I have my album in two. My husband simply loved the images. Greg found ways to create the images I had in mind and give me husband exactly what he wanted. I am definitely considering another shoot for this year.

While not actually a bride, I did want some boudoir photos done, as a treat to myself. Gregory was fantastic. I instantly felt at ease. He had great ideas and knew exactly what do to do get that perfect shot. All the photos came out beautifully, and whole process made me feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful. I would choose to work with him again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I used Hitchcock Photography in November of 2015 when we had a small party post elopement. The photos were gorgeous, he was excellent to communicate with, and the overall process was so easy that you would have thought there was a catch. There WASN'T! He was BEYOND cost effective. The main reason we eloped was due to cost and stress. Hitchcock photography gave not just us the ability to have GREAT photos of the day but he provided a link for all of our guests to have the ability to download their own photos free of charge [it was part of the package] as well. He was our FAVORITE vendor bar none. We got so lucky when we found him. Thanks Greg!

Gregory responded to my request promptly and immediately got to work trying to understand the vision I was going for. After emailing with me Gregory also set up a phone conference in order to make sure all of my questions and concerns were answered. Once hired Gregory continued to work with me through different media to make sure I was going to get what I wanted. When the day arrived to work with Gregory he could not have been more polite, professional and eager to work. The day went smoothly and I truly received organic, non-staged photos. I was impressed by how well he captured intimate moments and the purposefully posed ones too. He made it fun and theatrical. I have received positive feedback from our photos. Greg did my wedding in Las Vegas and the pictures came out great. He has an awesome photo journalism style that really captures the small moments, the authentic moments, the really surprising and beautiful moments. He worked well as we traveled up and down the Strip taking pictures in different areas. He navigated crowds well and was unfailingly polite.
