I had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience hosting my wedding celebration at Greysolon! The ballroom, west wing lounge (bar area), and getting ready room are stunning. My guests loved the opportunity to celebrate in such an elegant, historic space. The staff at Greysolon made wedding planning (even during a pandemic!) as fun and stress-free as possible. They were very flexible and willing to find great solutions with us when we had to change plans due to the pandemic (our original date was 10/10/2020). We are so, so grateful for their support during that crazy time. I always felt extremely well taken care of by Korah, Kalysta, Jax, and our night-of manager Casey. These folks truly could not be more kind, patient, detail-oriented, attentive, reliable, and fun to work with! They know SO much about the wedding industry, and they were always willing to provide recommendations and wedding planning tips. I did not feel the need to have a wedding planner or a day-of wedding coordinator because the staff at Greysolon took such great care of us -- the whole day went seamlessly! Thank you, Greysolon crew!!!

Greysolon is the most beautiful place in Duluth to have your wedding reception. They have incredible staff that want nothing more than for you to have the best day of your life, and they go the extra mile to achieve it. My bride and I just had our reception with Greysolon and the food was exquisite, the attendants were the nicest possible people, and everything was set up wonderfully from the cocktail lounge to the reception hall in such a classy way but at a reasonable price. It was the night of our lives - seriously, give them a call.

We loved working with the staff and especially Korah at Greysolon! We started our wedding planning and reserved our date after we fell in love with the ballroom at a wedding open house Greysolon was hosting in 2019. Korah worked with us along the way and was always prompt with answering questions and requests we had. We loved having our wedding in the ballroom as it is timeless and such a beautiful venue. We got so many compliments of how beautiful the venue was and how much everyone enjoyed their food!

My fiancé and I took the trip to Duluth to view Greysolon as a possible venue option for our wedding and immediately fell in love with the ballroom. We worked with Jax who really understood our love for the ballroom and helped us to make that space work with our wedding size of 80 guests. Then we worked with Korah who helped us actually plan our wedding. If you don’t know where to start when it comes to planning your wedding, Greysolon staff helps you every step of the way! On our wedding day, we had Casey as our day of coordinator and he was absolutely amazing. He worked with my attendant to set decore up and make our wedding day a dream. Greysolon is an amazing venue and I enjoyed working with them!

We had our daughters wedding at Greysolon on 5/21/21 and it was an absolutely amazing day! My daughter and her fiance made the difficult decision to postpone their wedding due to COVID-19 from 6/26/20 to 5/21/21 and we can tell you that it was worth the wait! Our guests were all so completely happy for Mikayla and Jake and were completely in awe of The Ballroom at Greysolon! The food was amazing and it was served quickly! It was a hot day and they kept the space at a comfortable temp, which everyone appreciated. The bartenders were awesome and cordial. We were so happy that they set up a second bar upstairs to get everyone their drinks quickly and efficiently. We were also very impressed with the table centerpieces and how beautiful everything looked. They transformed the ballroom from the ceremony space to the dining space to dance floor very quickly too! Jax and Korah helped us navigate through all of the difficult regulation changes for weddings starting last May when we decided to postpone. Even though the decision was painful, it was definitely the right decision for us. We were so happy we could have a larger wedding and have many of our family and friends present. What an amazing and awesome day! It still brings tears to my eyes when I think what a magical day our daughter and son-in-law had at Greysolon. Many guests said it was the best wedding that they had ever been to and we agree! Jax and Korah are very kind and humble and they made the experience wonderful for all of us! We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a wedding in Duluth!

I can’t say enough praise about Jax and the Greysolon team. We ended up finding Greysolon after our initial venue was no longer able to accommodate our wedding due to Covid, and I truly believe we ended up right where we were supposed to be from the start. Jax was there every step of the way for us helping us to navigate the ever changing Covid guidelines along with the regular endless details of wedding planning. Jax made me feel constantly supported and despite the added Covid complications, still made planning our day and the execution of our day feel so special. The Greysolon team cares so deeply for each couple they work with and work tirelessly to make their vision come to life. After working so closely with Jax, I will honestly miss our planning phone calls! The service you get at Greysolon is not just a venue, it is a team of people who are there for you and more than willing to help with each step along the way. There was never a missed phone call or email. They had plan A-Z ready to go. They worked with all our vendors, making day of coordination one less thing I needed to worry about. They are eager to accommodate or adjust as needed (including multiple changes, just to end up back at the original plan). These are your people! The venue itself is stunning and provides an elegant, charming, and bright space full of architectural detail as a canvas. You hardly need any decor as the ballroom is a vision in itself. The bridal suite and men’s lounge area are both comfortable and ambient spaces for your wedding parties to get ready before showtime. This beautiful and historic building has many opportunities (inside and out!) for a multitude of photo backdrops for all your portrait, ceremony, and first look needs. Oh and the food was DELICIOUS! I can’t say enough positive things about this venue. I hope every bride and groom get the service, beauty, and intimacy that is a standard at Greysolon.

11/10. Having known and worked with Jax, Kalysta, Korah and the team for many years they are a group that truly cares. From the moment you meet them they will make you feel special and comfortable with your wedding planning. Their venue is also absolutely gorgeous! The Moorish room that we booked is especially intimate and fun for the ~100-150 range of guests. I also love their chicken meal for the catering. I can truly recommend the Greysolon for your wedding day!

Although we had to change our daughter's wedding venue due to COVID, I wanted to share how sad we were to not be able to complete our plans with Kalysta and Greysolon. We both so appreciated and loved working with her. She is extremely customer service oriented and truly a joy to work with. Greysolon would have been an absolutely beautiful place to have the wedding and reception. They are extremely professional and the venue is absolutely beautiful.

Covid prevented us from having our day as planned at Greysolon but WOW did they still do everything in their power to make our day special! I wouldn’t hesitate to ever work with them again and will forever recommend my friends to book with them. Jax makes you feel like royalty from the first meeting and Korah was a dream to work with start to finish! So kind, compassionate and accommodating during uncertain times in the world. We truly couldn’t ask for more from a wedding venue!

Jax, Korah and all the staff were absolutely amazing to work with! I had a hard time trying to delegate tasks the day of our wedding because they had everything handled! The communication throughout the planning process was impeccable and every person that I talked to was sweeter than sugar. The Greysolon staff made our wedding perfect and stress free. I could not have asked for a better team to work with!! It is such a beautiful venue and all our guests were in awe of everything from the architectural details down to the smallest of details in the decor package that they set up. Greysolon had always been my venue even before I knew I was getting married I just knew that I wanted it to be in that space. We started planning our wedding quite a while ago and life happened, we changed our date multiple times we even changed the space a few different times as well but the one thing I can say is that the entire team and greysolon was there by our side every single step of the way! Every change every decision was ours and it didn’t feel forced at all Jax and korah supported us with every decision we made! The ceremony and reception were everything we had imagined and more. The food was amazing we did the champagne chicken buffet and I highly recommend that option ! We also went with the decor package and that was the best decision we made the pieces were made for the space, it also helped us with not having to worry about decorating and just enjoy our day and we most definitely did! I can’t say enough about the amazing people who work at greysolon but they are definitely more like family than someone who we completed a transaction with. We can’t wait to renew our vows here in the future!

Fantastic staff, fantastic venue, fantastic day. If you have no idea what you are doing planning a wedding, this is the go-to place. Informative questions and helpful steps. They were everything we needed them to be and we truly had the time and space to be a couple on our wedding day, not at all worried about details. Bravo! Korah and her staff - wow! We got married on November 9th and we can not say enough great things about the Greysolon. We planned our entire wedding out of Canada and Korah made the process seamless!! She was accommodating, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. We had a plaza wedding with the ceremony/reception being in the ballroom with a cocktail hour downstairs in the Moorish room. Not only is the venue breathtakingly gorgeous but, the event staff was phenomenal. Everything was on time, the drinks were tasty, & the food was delicious. 110% would recommend this venue to anyone planning an event.

We got married in the ballroom at Greysolon on 9/14/19 and couldn't be happier about our venue decision. First of all, the space is breathtakingly beautiful. There's character around every corner and made decorating simple. The Greysolon staff has to be the best out there. Korah was our point of contact from the get go and made things easy and enjoyable for us. She's responsive, cheery and extremely helpful. Korah made the planning easy. Food at the venue is just fabulous - we got all kinds of compliments on it. I am convinced this is the best wedding location in Minnesota. You have our love and thanks, Greysolon!

If there is a more perfect location for a wedding I have yet to see it. Every - single - moment of every interaction with literally every member of the team was simply put perfect. The entire team is composed of the most professional and down to earth people that you could hope to encounter. It was the privilege of our lives to have our wedding in your venue. The Greysolon staff was such a pleasure to work with! Everyone made everything so easy and always found a way to meet our needs quickly and efficiently. We had the most magical day and would choose Greysolon again without a doubt!

The staff at Greysolon were absolutely wonderful! We are currently living in Australia and planned the whole wedding from there. The coordinators were excellent at responding to emails immediately, which made planning so much easier. They made everything happen that we requested and were always friendly and great to work with. The venue is beautiful and food was delicious! No complaints!

I can't say enough positive things about this venue. We went with the décor package that was well worth the money in my opinion. No one had to set up or take down anything, and the venue is so pretty that you really don't need to go all out with décor anyways. They know how to make everything look cohesive. We got lots of complements on the food and the atmosphere.

From the moment we met with Jax to view this stunning venue, we fell in love with Greysolon. We were always treated as a priority. Whenever we had questions, the team made sure to answer them right away. We were able to customize our wedding experience exactly the way we both dreamed. All of our guests loved the food (we had a taco buffet)!! The nacho bar was also a huge hit. We would recommend Greysolon to everyone looking for a special place to celebrate their marriage. The venue itself was gorgeous with crown molding decorating the entire ballroom. Honestly, you need such minimal decor because the venue itself already comes picture perfect. My husband and I especially loved the history behind this venue as we are huge history buffs. We could not be happier with the venue and how much our guests loved the night. Greysolon even supported us all the way to the end. As we were cleaning up that night, Aubrey helped us roll our decorations to our hotel room and made sure we got in safe. Greysolon was worth every bit. We loved our wedding experience and cannot wait to return in the future for other events.

We just got married May 2019 at the ballroom it was A DREAM COME TRUE! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our love with our family and friends. Thanks you so much to all the ladies who helped us out. The accommodations near by for hotels (Sheraton) and Pickwick’s for our rehearsal dinner was outstanding. Thank you so much. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to get married and have our reception at the Greysolon Ballroom. We had a small ceremony (60 ppl) in the West Wing Lounge and a larger reception (270) in the ballroom. The girls at Greysolon helped every step of the way. They took my vision and made it reality... 100% and more. I sent countless emails, and all of them were replied to in an extremely timely manner, and they were always MORE than accommodating to whatever I needed. Their decor package is well worth it. The ballroom was gorgeous. Food was good (champagne chicken). If you’re on the fence, honestly you can’t go wrong here. Thanks Greysolon for making our wedding dreams a reality!!!

Greysolon is not only the most gorgeous venue in the state, the food is also the best I have ever had at a wedding. We had so much fun planning our day with the team at Greysolon. Every single person on the team works hard to make your day stress free and as beautiful as it could possibly be.

We originally looked at Greysolon for just a reception, but fell in love with it the minute we saw it and decided to do both our ceremony and reception in the Ballroom and I am so glad we did! It is a gorgeous building and the staff at Greysolon are just incredible to work with. They will literally bend over backwards for you with whatever you need. The timeline and switching over the ballroom from ceremony to reception went so smooth and flawless. These guys know what they are doing. So nice to have everything in one spot. And the food was DELICIOUS! Thank you again Greysolon for making our day the best day ever!

We got married in the Moorish room a couple weeks ago and it was perfect in every way. The staff is absolutely incredible and are there for you from the first time you see the place to the very end. They are so helpful, knowledgeable, kind and amazing. I couldn’t imagine a better group of people to help with such a special event. Any questions, concerns or hiccups can be addressed and they’ll help you through it. The food was amazing, the venue is amazing, the service was amazing and everything was beyond perfect! Anyone who wants to get married in a historic, elegant and gorgeous venue with help in all the right places should take a look at Greysolon. Seriously over the moon!

We just got married at the Greysolon upstairs ball room Sept. 1 and it was absolutely incredible!! The entire staff, ambiance, and food were unforgettable. Everything lived up to the hype! I have guests who are continually raving about how great of an experience our wedding was - the details were top notch from the atmosphere to the food! our coordinators were wonderful and so easy to work with - I planned this wedding while living in a different city than my family. They Greysolon team helped to meet everyone's needs/requests and bent over backwards to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. Excellent food, decent price, outstanding service. This was the historic fairytale venue I have dreamt of my whole life! It is right off of Lake Superior and Canal Park. I got a carriage ride before the wedding. We got married in the Ballroom and everything was perfect! Jax, Korah, Mary, and Aubrey were absolutely wonderful to work with!

We were married in the Moorish Room in July 2018, and the experience was wonderful. I am from out of town, and incredibly busy and traveling often for work. The folks at Greysolon handled everything from the ceremony to the reception, from decorating to catering with a late night snack, and even ensured that our presents were brought to our hotel room. Incredible. My only downside is that we ended up working with 4 different people; the people we did the majority of the planning with were not there the day of the wedding, and the person there for the rehearsal in the morning was not the same person who was there for the ceremony and reception. However, every staff member we worked with was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Their suggestions for food, decorations, and vendors were right on. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

We got married in the Moorish Room in June, and it was INCREDIBLE! First off, the whole staff was ahhh-mazing through the planning process. I am type A/OCD and planned our entire wedding, and I cannot tell you how many emails and phone calls I had with them. They were beyond helpful, detail-oriented, and patient haha. Almost all of our vendors had worked within them before, and that took a lot of worry out of the process and big day. And when the big day came, to put it simply, everything ran like clockwork, and it was STUNNING! Our guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous it all was...and how much fun they had. Choosing Greysolon was THE BEST decision we made in planning our wedding. We are so happy!

My daughter had her wedding ceremony and reception at the Greysolon Ballroom February 17, 2018. It could not have been more perfect. From our first meeting with Jax and planning with Kalysta everything went smoothly. Kalysta responded quickly to all emails and phone calls. She made the planning process so much fun and easy. On the day of the wedding our first meeting with Rachel was the start of a wonderful day. Having the ceremony and reception in the same place was so convenient. We had a great lunch served for the wedding party during the day. Everyone loved the suite and quarters for getting ready for the wedding. The Ballroom was set up beautifully for the ceremony and the reception. The staff handled every thing fantastically. At the end of the evening Aubrey was so great at helping everything go smoothly. The room is beautiful, the staff is great, and the food was excellent.

I recently had my wedding at Greysolon and the whole experience was wonderful. Working with Kalysta to plan our event made the process feel easier and less overwhelming than I expected. On the day of my wedding, Rachel and Aubrey had everything under control and responded to all my needs efficiently. Dining and bar staff were all great as well. The event from booking to finish was better than I could have imagined, thanks in large part to the excellent service we received from Greysolon. Would definitely recommend this venue to others!

Being in the wedding industry myself, I have seen about every venue in Minnesota. We chose to have our wedding hours away from the cities because we were so in love with this venue. The staff is the friendly and incredibly helpful. We had so many compliments on how amazing the venue was and as a bride, it is amazing to have a space that doesn't require so much money for decor to make it beautiful. Our wedding couldn't have been more beautiful thanks to Greysolon Ballroom and their staff!

We had a New Year's Eve wedding in Greysolon's Moorish Room, and it was absolutely perfect! The wedding coordinator was so helpful with all aspects of planning, even going so far as to give us extra tips from her own wedding planning experience! The staff paid attention to every detail of our day, and the room exceeded my expectations when I saw it. On the day of our wedding, the management checked in with us frequently to make sure our needs were being met. We are so grateful to the Greysolon crew and would recommend them to anyone looking for an event venue!

I had a Christmas wedding in the Moorish Room. Greysolon exceeded my expectations. Thank you for the most beautiful, memorable night of my life. This would not have happened with out the outstanding service and amenities Greysolon offers. Thank you for everything.

If I could give this venue 10 stars, I would. We worked with them on both our ceremony and reception. We went non-traditional with a Sunday afternoon ceremony and no room turnover (meaning: our guests sat at rounds of 8 for the ceremony and reception), which was SUPER successful. Jax and her team at Greysolon went above and beyond to make even our most unusual requests a tasteful, beautiful reality. Additionally, we opted for a Saturday night welcome event at the Blackwater Lounge, which is located in the same building and is operated by the same company. They made our whole weekend have an all-inclusive feel, which was a great asset for our many out-of-town and out-of-country guests. Kudos to the whole Greysolon/Blackwater establishment!

Greysolon is magical. I don’t have any other words to describe it. If I had to do this all over again I would choose it over and over. All the staff was wonderful from start to finish. Our wedding felt perfect because of the Greysolon team. I can’t thank them all enough for being the most incredible people out there. They made our wedding not only perfect but helped my dreams come true. I know this sounds cheesy but I have looked forward to this moment my entire life. I don’t think my imagination could top our day. I recommend this venue to anyone looking for a classy and romantic place in Duluth. It will take your breath away I promise.

Greysolon was the perfect location for our wedding celebration! We chose to have our ceremony + reception in the ballroom. The planning and coordination was completed with ease. These folks are absolute PROS! Aside from the space being beautiful, the staff kept the whole day running smoothly. The food was delicious & they accommodated our beverage requests. The downtown historic location is ideal- with an attached parking ramp, hotel & just a short walk from the lake. A perfect choice for our beautiful, large wedding!

We had our wedding ( ceremony and reception) in the Moorish room and it was gorgeous! The staff ensured every detail went smooth from helping set up, to tear down at the end of the night. The food was amazing, and we received so many compliments from guests! We worked with mostly Korah, and she was great. I would highly recommend working with Greysolon for your wedding and/or reception. They are an all in one venue and the guests loved not having to travel.

Jax, from Greysolon, was the most accommodating and understanding property manager I have ever worked with. She gave us great insight on how to host a wedding in Duluth and worked well with our budget to make sure that we had our dream wedding. Jax is one of those people that she does what she loves and every day she puts her heart into her clients. Although we had to switch our venue to the Twin Cities, I know Jax would have accommodated our every wish.

We were beyond pleased with the staff at the Greysolon Ballroom. We live in the twin cites so most of the planning was done via email, and all I can say is that it was SO EASY from beginning to end. They were able to take and accommodate all my requests with ease. The day of the wedding, any detail that had to be tweaked or changed, was done in an instant! Our day was so stress free! We will always recommend to future brides and grooms, for every single detail was perfect! Thank you to Jax, Kalysta, and our day-of-event manager Aubrey for making this such an unforgettable experience. Maybe a few years down the road, we'll renew our vows at our venue :)

Getting married are greysolon Ballroom was something I had dreamed of since I was little. On August 12th, 2017 that dream came true and it was beyond amazing. The staff there were so wonderful, from the moment we booked with them all the way up until our special day was done they made sure we had everything we needed and that out special day was everything we dreamed of. The team they is perfection. They make your big day special to you, and rally ain't that what we all want? If you are thinking of Greysolon ballroom as your venue? Think no more. If you chose it you will not regret. I can promise you that. It was truly the most beautiful and amazing day of my life. Thank you to the staff at Greysolon- you all are amazing.

Greysolon Ballroom is an amazing venue for a wedding. The facility is gorgeous, the food was delicious, but the staff is the absolute best! Every single person we worked with from the initial contact, the planning stages, and most of all on our daughter's wedding day, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly. Absolutely stunning venue and amazing people! My husband and I were so fortunate to stumble upon an ad for this location and inquire upon it. Jax, an absolutely wonderful lady, helped us navigate a date and gave us the extra push we needed to commit (our engagement had been a long one with two kids involved in that period so our wedding was constantly put on hold) and we are so thankful for that! We had a small intimate wedding in the moorish room and it was stunning! From the decor package to the ambiance the room gave off it was exactly the feel we envisioned! Kalysta, one of the coordinators, was absolutely a pleasure working with. I'm pretty indecisive and her ideas and suggestions made everything flow perfectly for our day! The process of planning two hours away was eased by the professionalism this team brought! I highly suggest this wedding venue. The price, professionalism from the staff and food were above and beyond our expectations. Even look into grooms dinner at this location- it was so beautiful and easy having it at the same location!

This venue and the people who run it were absolutely WONDERFUL! They were so kind and considerate. Whenever I had a questions they were able to answer it in a very timely manner. We planned our wedding at Greysolon from the Twin Cities as a "mini destination wedding." Although we weren't always proximal to Duluth, the planning process went very smoothly. From the start, Jax was just excellent, and Kalysta, Korah, and Aubrey as well. All of our correspondence and communications were clear and timely. It was easy to get ahold of staff and costs were transparent. Most importantly, the day of our wedding was incredibly smooth and FUN, even though we did ceremony and reception in the ballroom with a 45 minute room flip (NSE helped out) Mary and Aubrey were on site all day and extremely responsive and helpful, and the ballroom was truly STUNNING. I highly recommend attending the Greysolon vendor fair as well, which is where we found all of our vendors in one easy day and they were all excellent and surprisingly affordable. Our guests are still talking about what a fun day it was, how great the food and service was, and how stunning the venue was. We highly recommend this venue for your special day.

Planning a wedding was such a scary thought to me. It seemed impossible. Jax and all the nice ladies that work their made this process so much less stressful and a breeze. I am from out of state and never even got to see the venue before the big day. I was completely blown away by the beauty of the Moorish room. The venue staff was so helpful setting up and the food and cake were amazing! I have not one bad thing to say about this venue. It's easy to plan and the room with duluth uplighting looks breath taking. Our wedding day was perfect and I'm so glad I had such helpful nice people to walk me though how to even begin planning.

Where does one even start. When you are looking at spending over $20,000 you do expect top notch care. I fear that others are reviewing this vendor strictly on the atmosphere. Let me tell you all that was right, the atmosphere, what was wrong: Coat check girl was folding napkins the entire time. When I questioned her reply was "we have 8 weddings this weekend" needless to say no coats were checked nor were any gifts collected or cards correctly placed. The groom and men had to ask another to go and purchase them water, the food was lukewarm at best and one should NEVER put baked chicken strips into a warming over. It harkens to rubber and does not sit well with children, not to mention you should not feed children food that looks like the lunch lady scooped it. ie take the time and flatten your mashed potatoes- and is it really sanitary to carry uncovered food to over 200 people? Is it that much more expensive to have the silver tray covers? Do not set our your place settings prior to the tables being moved to say chaos ensured would be an understatement. Again, we were so disappointed and believe that in the twin cities this would NEVER be accepted. I feel the bride/groom should be reimbursed for the many failings on their special day....and I was just a guest!!!

Jax and her staff were the only venue to return my calls when I was looking for a venue in Duluth. They WANTED me as a customer! And what an UNBELIEVEABLE experience! Impeccable venue, food, service. Although they had weddings throughout the Greysolon, I was treated like the only customer. The whole team was on point- they knew my needs, my individual contract, I had NOTHING to worry about! They were also ALWAYS there for questions, concerns. They reached out to me when it was time to address certain aspects of my wedding. Oh yeah, you couldn't beat the price! Wonderful!

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception here. They were very accommodating to all my requests and questions along on way. I always felt like we were really working as a team. They just wanted what I wanted. The day of the wedding was stress free. They were on top of all the details and checked in along the way to see if we needed anything. Everyone I worked with along the way were true professionals. Thanks for making my dreams come true!

I cannot gush enough about Greysolon Ballroom itself and the staff there! We ended up booking a venue closer to our families but had been in contact with Jax at Greysolon over the past six weeks. The venue is beautiful and their prices are reasonable. Everyone I talked to was helpful and genuine. They are accommodating and excited for you. I would recommend them to anyone and am trying to find an excuse to throw a party there ASAP!

I'm towards the end of my planning and I cannot imagine doing any of it without Greysolon and their team. I have had some special requests such as having my own vegetarian meal item created and every stop of the eat they have told me that they are here to make my day the best. They have worked with every single request to find something that works for both of us. I highly highly recommend anyone in the Duluth area at least look into Greysolon for your venue. I cannot imagine better service. They exceeded every expectation. -- My wedding date has passed and Greysolon was absolutely wonderful for the day of. They even returned my cake stand for me after I had forgotten it there. They made the actual day go by without a hitch and without any added stress on me. I knew they were going to make my reception wonderful and they truly did.

Working with the Greysolon Ballroom team has been truly amazing! The sales team have been above and beyond on every level--suggestions about how to structure our wedding day beyond just the wedding details, tips and tricks about phones, and our family and friends to make it enjoyable for them as well... Things that I never even considered as a detail to planning a wedding. Woah! The insight their team shares with us is inspiring and relieving knowing we don't have to worry about any of these small details we didn't know existed. I'll recommend Greysolon to anyone! My fiancé and I couldn't be happier and cannot wait for our day there!

From the first meeting, to the final moments of our night, Greysolon Ballroom's staff exceeded our expectations. We always knew our experience was a top priority. It difficult to put a price tag on the amount of stress this venue alleviates, but not having to worry about the behind-the-scenes operations certainly provides incredible value. In the planning of our wedding, we worked primarily with Kalysta. She was OUTSTANDING!! It was such a relief to be able to email/call her with any concerns or questions and hear back in a timely manner. She certainly reduced and minimized the stress through the whole process. Greysolon Ballroom's unique venue was ideal. The space is so elegant, we did not have to invest a ton of time and energy into decorations. They even offer a reasonable center piece option in the contract (we opted out) to further reduce the time and energy required for set-up/tear down. In the weeks following the wedding, we have received many compliments pertaining to how beautiful our wedding was. I understand that dinner can always be a gamble at a wedding. Prior to booking at Greysolon, we had heard the food was good, but had never experienced it so we weren't sure what to expect. So far, I have yet to hear one negative bit of feedback on dinner. We went with the Champagne Chicken (house specialty) and the Roasted Pork Tenderloin. Both options were phenomenal. From the first table to receive their dinner to the last, the food was hot! This is even more impressive since our wedding party was lallygagging leading up to the grand march. I have years of service industry experience and I must say, the presentation and quality of dinner left nothing to be desired.

We had our reception in the ballroom and could not be more happy with our choice. We want to thank Jax, Kalysta, Melissa, Rachel, Korah, and the entire Greysolon staff for the wonderful work that they do! They are so helpful and provide support and suggestions without ever being pushy. They were attentive to every request and exceptionally quick to respond to emails and phone calls. About a week before our wedding I asked if they could get a wheelchair for my 86 year old grandpa as I knew it would be a long and exciting day. Korah and the staff responded quickly and not only found one, but had it waiting for my grandpa when my family checked in to the Sheraton. He was able to save energy to disco on the dance floor with all his grandchildren. I'm so grateful for both the beautiful, historic venue and the wonderful staff! I highly recommend them. Above and beyond our expectations. Not once did I have to stress about the venue we chose. Dustin and I got married on October 7th, 2016. It was a Friday. We rented the Moorish room for our reception. I was able to do most of my planning though email which worked perfect for their hours and my work schedule. They would always respond to every question or concerns within 48 hours, but usually I got an email back that very same day within a few hours. I worked with Jax Eisenmann and Kalysta Leschishin. On the evening of our reception Derek Struss was our event manager and was very willing to do whatever he could to make our night perfect! The food was fantastic! They served each guest their plates, nobody needed to get up which was awesome. They set everything up and took everything down which was amazing! I didn't have to worry about a thing on my big day!!!! It truly was a DREAM!!! Choose the Greysolon Ballroom!!!!!! Everyone is amazing! ❤️ Thanks guys!!

We recently had our wedding reception in the Moorish Room at Greysolon Plaza. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for all of the staff's hard work. Kalysta and Korah, as well as our event manager and catering team were absolutely amazing to work with. Kalysta and Korah were so thoughtful and offered such a personalized approach. They were able to capture our vision and turn it into a reality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a stress-free planning process as well as wedding day. I highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding if you are looking for a beautiful, elegant, timeless and stress-free venue.

Unfortunately, I was unable to book with this venue due to a conflict with my date and another, already booked wedding. However, I must say that these people were exceptionally quick to respond and provided me with pictures of the venue options and very detailed information and pricing. I am very grateful for their conscientious handling of communication and am very disappointed that the date did not work out. I would have loved to have my wedding here and to have been able to work further with these people.

We really wanted a beach destination wedding but we also wanted a turnkey event where once ours guests were there- they didn't need to leave. Greysolon offered a fabulous location next to water photo ops and a beautiful ceremony/reception space. Our experience with Aubrey, Rachel, Korah, Kaylsta and Jax was fantastic. They were super responsive, helpful, fun and great to us, our family and our vendors. Thank you very much for a lovely time and the night of our lives!

My husband and I loved our experience working with everyone at the Greysolon. They answered every question, every phone call and every email. They worked so well with my wedding coordinator and every vendor we hired. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn't have gotten married anywhere else.

My husband Dave and I had our reception At Greysolon Ballroom and food by Blackwoods. Our wedding was in June and we were so impressed with the wedding planners, the staff, the venue and the food. The wedding planners were amazing and couldn't do enough for us! They were with us every step of the way. The staff that worked with us in the morning as we brought items in for set-up were amazing. The venue was absolutely beautiful! We would highly recommend having your wedding and/or reception at Greysolon!

I cannot rave enough about Greysolon Plaza. We had our reception in the ballroom on June 25th,2016 and were just blown away. From day one, our wedding planning experience was personalized and special. Kalysta and Jax did everything possible to bring our vision to life and were just a pleasure to work with. On the actual wedding day, the staff was beyond attentive and helpful. Greysolon and their staff offer a "homey" atmosphere that you don't find every day. We are still receiving compliments on our food- everything was delicious. I could go on and on, honestly. It was the most amazing day of our lives and it wouldn't have been the same anywhere else. You will not be disappointed if you go with Greysolon.

We cannot say enough amazing things about the Greysolon Ballroom venue and staff! Kalysta was so thoughtful and incredible through out the entire wedding planning process, she felt like family by the end of our experience. I cannot tell you the amount of compliments we have received about our wedding. We had our ceremony and reception in the ballroom. The day went so smoothly from start to finish. The space was absolutely gorgeous! The food was amazing, people are still talking about it! We had the Italian buffet with manicotti, lasagna, spaghetti, Alfredo, ceaser salad and added the champagne chicken... It was truly delicious! We also did the late night pizzas which were my husbands favorite! We got ready in the bridal suite and the new grooms quarters and had mimosas and pales of ale. We also had the chicken salad sandwhiches, ham sandwhiches and pasta salad which our bridal party loved! Right after the ceremony the bridal party all went straight down stairs to the martini lounge while the guest started cocktail hour. It was such a nice way to take a quick breather right after the ceremony before greeting all the guests-I highly recommend doing this! To make it even better the Greysolon team give you 50 $5 off drink tickets for the black water lounge and $100 gift card so this covered everyone's martinis or two and beverages during this time so that we could just leave the bartenders a nice tip! Everything was so well planned and easy going my husband and I really were able to just sit back and take in all of the love around us. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married! It was beautiful, elegant and priced very reasonably for all that is included!!

We were married at Greysolon Plaza in the Moorish Room last fall and I can't say enough wonderful things about the venue and staff. Our daughter's wedding was held at Greysolon Ballroom. We opted to have the ceremony and reception both there due to it being a winter wedding. From the time we had our first look at the venue to the last minute of the dance we had a perfect experience. It was our 4th child to be married in 8 years so we had high expectations. We could not have been more pleased with the expert advice, kindness of staff, willingness to work with our ideas and budget, promptness and overall professional service that we encountered from everyone on staff there. The venue is extremely beautiful which made decorating simple and easy. Their décor package option was incredible - both in value and in how beautiful it turned out. The Bridal Suite and Fire Side rooms were perfect for getting ready for the wedding. They are very comfortable and elegant. The turn over of tables from ceremony to reception was done with such grace and quickness that in no way did it interfere with visiting with guests in between. The service from all of the staff for bar, appetizers and meal was incredible. The food was delicious and plentiful. We could not say enough about the event planners. We dealt mostly with Jax and Kalysta. They were professional but caring about every question or change we brought to them. They did listened to what we wanted from the day and found a way to make that happen rather than trying to change our ideas into something that would make it easier for them. They promptly returned emails/phone calls and kept our contract updated with any changes made along the way. The staff helping the day of were aware of everything we had talked about to make the day what we wanted it to be. We would HIGHLY recommend this venue for a wedding or large event. It has been great to hear ALL the positive feed back we have received from guests attending, I have not heard one negative. But the best was when my daughter and her new husband came to us at the end of the evening and said that this was a perfect day. Thank you Greysolon Ballroom staff for helping in every way to make that possible.

If you are having trouble deciding on a venue, let me make the decision easy for you: CHOOSE THE GREYSOLON BALLROOM. You will NOT regret it. Here's why: 1) The venue is (obviously) GORGEOUS. Large chandeliers, detailed ceilings, hardwood floors, beautiful groom suite and bridal suite, unique restrooms, and so much more. 2) Save money on decor. This place is so beautiful on its own that you don't need to spend a ton of money on flowers, centerpieces, etc. Embrace the gold and ivory tones in the venue and add in a few DIYs, you're good to go! 3) The Greysolon staff and catering team are phenomenal! We received several compliments from our guests about the fast service, tasty food, and great drinks. (Tip: Try the Cucumber Press!) 4) Kalysta, Jax, and the entire crew will make your wedding planning easy and fun. We planned our wedding from Minneapolis and did everything via email or over the phone. From the first planning call to the day-of details, they made sure everything was PERFECT. Kalysta and her team absolutely blew me away on the day of our wedding. 5) Budget-friendly, but looks fancy! Jax and Kalysta will work within your budget. They are never pushy and have great suggestions for food, beverage, and decor options to meet your needs. I am so lucky that I had my dream wedding at the Greysolon! Cheers!
