I would recommend this venue to anyone! The team is excellent to work with. They are super helpful and were very responsive to any questions I had. They truly have a talent with making you feel like the most important person that day. I could feel their passion for what they do from the first phone call. The venue is absolutely stunning and so unique. It is well maintained and lovely. The food and drinks were great as well and they were very sensitive and attentive to my allergies. I had 0 issues on my wedding day and I am confident if there would have been a concern it would have been dealt with smoothly and immediately. The Greysolon team truly made my dream wedding come true.

ends and family where our reception was going to be, the first thing that people who were familiar with the venue said was “Oh my goodness! I’ve been to a wedding there! It was so beautiful and the food was so good!”. On the day of they made sure the day went off without a hitch! Due to classic wedding day chaos, our schedule was just a little off and Greysolon was so flexible and wonderful. The space was gorgeous (our wedding photos look straight out of a movie!) and everyone who was working was so kind and helpful. We received so so so many compliments on the food, and how beautiful the ballroom was. I would come back again and again. Also if you can, get the Lavender martini!!! Best signature drink ever!!!

She asked so many great questions and was accommodating! Our day-of day manager was David. He was available all day for any questions and I often saw him walking around making sure everything was running smoothly. He checked in often to see how we were doing. Our night manager was Casey. He was there from dinner through the end of the night. Just like David, he always checked in and was so helpful! We even met with him the next day to grab stuff we left there. Overall a wonderful experience! Anyone looking for a Duluth wedding venue, this is THE ONE to choose!

The staff at Greysolon made wedding planning (even during a pandemic!) as fun and stress-free as possible. They were very flexible and willing to find great solutions with us when we had to change plans due to the pandemic (our original date was 10/10/2020). We are so, so grateful for their support during that crazy time. I always felt extremely well taken care of by Korah, Kalysta, Jax, and our night-of manager Casey. These folks truly could not be more kind, patient, detail-oriented, attentive, reliable, and fun to work with! They know SO much about the wedding industry, and they were always willing to provide recommendations and wedding planning tips. I did not feel the need to have a wedding planner or a day-of wedding coordinator because the staff at Greysolon took such great care of us -- the whole day went seamlessly! nderstood our love for the ballroom and helped us to make that space work with our wedding size of 80 guests. Then we worked with Korah who helped us actually plan our wedding. If you don’t know where to start when it comes to planning your wedding, Greysolon staff helps you every step of the way! On our wedding day, we had Casey as our day of coordinator and he was absolutely amazing. He worked with my attendant to set decore up and make our wedding day a dream. Greysolon is an amazing venue and I enjoyed working with them!

OVID-19 from 6/26/20 to 5/21/21 and we can tell you that it was worth the wait! Our guests were all so completely happy for Mikayla and Jake and were completely in awe of The Ballroom at Greysolon! The food was amazing and it was served quickly! It was a hot day and they kept the space at a comfortable temp, which everyone appreciated. The bartenders were awesome and cordial. We were so happy that they set up a second bar upstairs to get everyone their drinks quickly and efficiently. We were also very impressed with the table centerpieces and how beautiful everything looked. They transformed the ballroom from the ceremony space to the dining space to dance floor very quickly too!
Jax and Korah helped us navigate through all of the difficult regulation changes for weddings starting last May when we decided to postpone. Even though the decision was painful, it was definitely the right decision for us. We were so happy we could have a larger wedding and have many of our family and friends present. What an amazing and awesome day! It still brings tears to my eyes when I think what a magical day our daughter and son-in-law had at Greysolon. Many guests said it was the best wedding that they had ever been to and we agree!
Jax and Korah are very kind and humble and they made the experience wonderful for all of us! We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a wedding in Duluth!

Jax was there every step of the way for us helping us to navigate the ever changing Covid guidelines along with the regular endless details of wedding planning. Jax made me feel constantly supported and despite the added Covid complications, still made planning our day and the execution of our day feel so special. The Greysolon team cares so deeply for each couple they work with and work tirelessly to make their vision come to life. After working so closely with Jax, I will honestly miss our planning phone calls! The service you get at Greysolon is not just a venue, it is a team of people who are there for you and more than willing to help with each step along the way. There was never a missed phone call or email. They had plan A-Z ready to go. They worked with all our vendors, making day of coordination one less thing I needed to worry about. They are eager to accommodate or adjust as needed (including multiple changes, just to end up back at the original plan). These are your people! The venue itself is stunning and provides an elegant, charming, and bright space full of architectural detail as a canvas. You hardly need any decor as the ballroom is a vision in itself. The bridal suite and men’s lounge area are both comfortable and ambient spaces for your wedding parties to get ready before showtime. This beautiful and historic building has many opportunities (inside and out!) for a multitude of photo backdrops for all your portrait, ceremony, and first look needs. Oh and the food was DELICIOUS! I can’t say enough positive things about this venue. I hope every bride and groom get the service, beauty, and intimacy that is a standard at Greysolon.

life happened, we changed our date multiple times we even changed the space a few different times as well but the one thing I can say is that the entire team and greysolon was there by our side every single step of the way! Every change every decision was ours and it didn’t feel forced at all Jax and korah supported us with every decision we made! The ceremony and reception were everything we had imagined and more. The food was amazing we did the champagne chicken buffet and I highly recommend that option ! We also went with the decor package and that was the best decision we made the pieces were made for the space, it also helped us with not having to worry about decorating and just enjoy our day and we most definitely did! I can’t say enough about the amazing people who work at greysolon but they are definitely more like family than someone who we completed a transaction with. We can’t wait to renew our vows here in the future!

The entire team is composed of the most professional and down to earth people that you could hope to encounter.
It was the privilege of our lives to have our wedding in your venue. Every detail was amazing and perfect. We would recommend Greysolon to everyone looking for a special place to celebrate their marriage. The venue itself was gorgeous with crown molding decorating the entire ballroom. Honestly, you need such minimal decor because the venue itself already comes picture perfect. My husband and I especially loved the history behind this venue as we are huge history buffs. We could not be happier with the venue and how much our guests loved the night. Greysolon even supported us all the way to the end. As we were cleaning up that night, Aubrey helped us roll our decorations to our hotel room and made sure we got in safe. Greysolon was worth every bit. I sent countless emails, and all of them were replied to in an extremely timely manner, and they were always MORE than accommodating to whatever I needed. Their decor package is well worth it. The ballroom was gorgeous. Food was good (champagne chicken). If you’re on the fence, honestly you can’t go wrong here. Thanks Greysolon for making our wedding dreams a reality!!!

The timeline and switching over the ballroom from ceremony to reception went so smooth and flawless. These guys know what they are doing. So nice to have everything in one spot. I have guests who are continually raving about how great of an experience our wedding was - the details were top notch from the atmosphere to the food! our coordinators were wonderful and so easy to work with - I planned this wedding while living in a different city than my family. They Greysolon team helped to meet everyone's needs/requests and bent over backwards to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. Excellent food, decent price, outstanding service. handled everything from the ceremony to the reception, from decorating to catering with a late night snack, and even ensured that our presents were brought to our hotel room. Incredible. My only downside is that we ended up working with 4 different people; the people we did the majority of the planning with were not there the day of the wedding, and the person there for the rehearsal in the morning was not the same person who was there for the ceremony and reception. However, every staff member we worked with was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Their suggestions for food, decorations, and vendors were right on. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

edding, and I cannot tell you how many emails and phone calls I had with them. They were beyond helpful, detail-oriented, and patient haha. Almost all of our vendors had worked within them before, and that took a lot of worry out of the process and big day. And when the big day came, to put it simply, everything ran like clockwork, and it was STUNNING! Our guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous it all was...and how much fun they had. Choosing Greysolon was THE BEST decision we made in planning our wedding. We are so happy!

with Kalysta everything went smoothly. Kalysta responded quickly to all emails and phone calls. She made the planning process so much fun and easy.
On the day of the wedding our first meeting with Rachel was the start of a wonderful day. Having the ceremony and reception in the same place was so convenient. We had a great lunch served for the wedding party during the day. Everyone loved the suite and quarters for getting ready for the wedding.
The Ballroom was set up beautifully for the ceremony and the reception. The staff handled every thing fantastically.
At the end of the evening Aubrey was so great at helping everything go smoothly.
The room is beautiful, the staff is great, and the food was excellent.

(meaning: our guests sat at rounds of 8 for the ceremony and reception), which was SUPER successful. Jax and her team at Greysolon went above and beyond to make even our most unusual requests a tasteful, beautiful reality. Additionally, we opted for a Saturday night welcome event at the Blackwater Lounge, which is located in the same building and is operated by the same company. They made our whole weekend have an all-inclusive feel, which was a great asset for our many out-of-town and out-of-country guests. Kudos to the whole Greysolon/Blackwater establishment!

ish. Our wedding felt perfect because of the Greysolon team. I can’t thank them all enough for being the most incredible people out there. They made our wedding not only perfect but helped my dreams come true. I know this sounds cheesy but I have looked forward to this moment my entire life. I don’t think my imagination could top our day. I recommend this venue to anyone looking for a classy and romantic place in Duluth. It will take your breath away I promise.
