Their entire team was professional, responsive and took interest in learning the details of our wedding in order to best suggest designs that would complement our original concept. The cascade of lights over the dance floor and back drop lighting frames were magical and romantic. Our only wish was that we had more special events we could work with Griffin on but know there will be opportunities in the future!

been what it was. The work they did completely elevated our wedding! Their lighting was also dimmable so we were able to set the dancing mood once the sun went down. We gave Griffin and Griffin information regarding the time we had our venue and they were timely in their set up and breakdown. When we had a question regarding the set up they were extremely responsive. You cannot go wrong with booking Griffin and Griffin!! We highly recommend them!

they knew our venue well and had plenty of ideas to help guide us in the right direction. We had a couple of instances where we had to reach out twice before getting a response, but once we got responses via email, it was easy to communicate and make sure we had Griffin & Griffin locked in for our wedding. We put down our deposit in February 2022 for our June 2023 wedding, and all was well. We didn't hear from them again until we reached out in May 2023, making sure they were still on track to light up our wedding the next month. We put them in touch with our day-of coordinator and did not hear back again afterwards. When our wedding weekend came around, our coordinator was told they would set everything up before we arrived at the venue Thursday evening for the weekend. Upon our arrival, only one of the three areas had been finished, and we had no communication about when the other two would be done. We would then randomly see people setting things up throughout the day Friday that seemed to be from Griffin & Griffin, based on what they set up and what we had paid for. On Saturday morning, we finally saw our vision completed, and it was just as beautiful as we had expected - our reception barn, cocktail barn and fire pit were well-lit and there was lovely greenery in the reception barn. We were very pleased with the final product and the overall work Griffin & Griffin does; we were just a bit let down by the lack of communication for such a crucial element of our day.

From the planning process, to set up, take down, etc. these guys are the best of the best!!!!! They added the magical touch my venue needed. Their work got so many compliments from my guests!!!!!!

sie and John Griffin not only transformed our wedding reception into the most exsquisit site I've ever seen, they also held my hand every step of the way tapping into their HUGE rolodex of other contacts in the industry to help me find a wedding planner, florist and so much more. Their professionalism and true knack for their craft is unlike anything I've ever encountered in the industry. Just say yes to Griffin and Griffin - they will truly transform any venue into something only angels can imagine.

d priorities, budget, and style. G&G didn’t share any concerns. We were told we’d get a proposal back in 2 weeks, but we didn’t hear from them again for 6 months. When we did receive a proposal less than 1 month before the wedding it was for $25,000 even though our discussed budget was closer to $5,000. During two phone calls to discuss the quote, we struggled to work with the owner John who seemed too overwhelmed to focus on our event or answer questions. We asked G&G to reduce the services in the proposal to provide only what was available within the budget, instead they suggested we make cuts from other vendors to pay for additional lighting, which earlier in the process we would have done but at this point all other vendors had been fully paid. We made floor plan changes to cut lighting costs then requested additional items be removed to stay closer to our budget. We didn’t receive a response or an updated proposal for another 2.5 weeks, at this point we were very close to the wedding date and other vendors were pending information from G&G for their own event setup. Our day of coordinator at the venue offered to reach out to them directly for a response since their companies work together often. A few days later, they provided an updated proposal which we signed and paid immediately ($6000). At the wedding the lighting was setup and taken down on time and in the right areas with no issues. G&G may have been great in past years, but I think they have overextended themselves during this wedding season and it showed in the poor attitude from the owner and lack of responsiveness/ professionalism. After receiving the first proposal back from G&G (6 months after our meeting), I started looking for other lighting vendors. We were willing to forfeit our $750 deposit, because we didn’t feel good about working with G&G’s owner but since we were so close to the wedding date no one else was available. Overall, the execution was fine but not worth the cost or the frustration of dealing with this vendor.

le as we went back and forth with what we wanted and where we wanted it, as COVID kept us on our toes. The final creation was gorgeous and even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Seemingly such a simple task, make sure the tent is illuminated, when done with style has such an impact on the ambiance of the event. Highly recommend Griffin and Griffin.

We pulled photographs, and as I described elements of our "decor hopes" I was directed (right on the spot) to specific images on their social media platforms and website that helped us visualize their work in our space. They compiled several different quotes at different price points, and worked with us until we were able to match exactly what we were hoping for. I highly recommend spending the money to add beautiful lighting to your event - it was truly worth it and Griffin & Griffin were fabulous to work with.
