Guitarist Peter Skrabak

So. Incredibly. Rude. We wanted to hire Peter to play for an hour during the guest entrance at our wedding. Thank God he revealed how incredibly rude and unprofessional he is before we went ahead and allowed him to be present at our perfect, special day. He presented us with a different price for bringing a sound system versus no sound system, which as a musician made no sense to me since guests cannot hear you without a sound system. We offered him our DJ’s sound system in hopes that it would be easier for his set up due to a tight time constraint, as well as help us financially by not having to pay for a second sound system. He quickly became very short, before responding that he would not be playing at our wedding due to our “thriftiness” that he did not feel like dealing with. When I asked him “thriftiness? We are prepared to pay you what you were asking.” He answered “well what would you call it? It certainly didn’t sound like it.” I shared that it was an industry event and could potentially be good exposure for him and he responded “I play at many industry events, it’s literally the last thing on my list.” His energy and attitude were so bad I said yes, it was better that he not play at our wedding, as we do not want that kind of energy there. The audacity and rudeness for no reason. He made me so upset the day before my wedding I was almost crying. I literally had to tell him to stop texting me with his immature, nasty comments and blocked him on my phone. He must be a really unhappy person to treat a bride like that right before her wedding day. I was never rude to him and was asking reasonable questions. Even when I asked if he played flamenco he just responded “look at my website”. Cold, unpleasant, and a poor communicator with an ego. Yes he plays guitar beautifully, but so do a lot of people who are actually kind, understanding, and professional. Do NOT recommend
