Courtney and Taylor were so amazing and accommodating for my girls and me! They took the time to listen to my vision and prioritize how I wanted to feel on my wedding day. They arrived on location bright and early with absolutely everything needed to have a relaxed and easy morning of getting ready. And we all loved the way our hair and makeup turned out. So thankful they were apart of our wedding day!

Absolutely amazing! Taylor and Courtney are the dynamic duo! They really made me feel comfortable and made everything less hectic the day of my wedding. My hair and makeup made me feel so confident and it came out amazing!! So did all the other girls! Courtney really took the time to see what each person wanted for makeup and made it happen!! The absolute best! Always communicated clearly and in a timely fashion and were super understanding about all things wedding stress! On the day of the wedding, they were AMAZING! They absolutely killed the hair and makeup not just on myself but my mother and all my bridesmaids including my junior bridesmaids! I cannot stress enough that these ladies should be your go-to! What a wonderful duo! Taylor and Courtney were absolutely phenomenal to work with and I could not have asked for a better pair to help with my hair and makeup needs! We did a couple hair trials because I couldn't decide what I wanted, and she helped me each time! On the day of, we had a last minute make up addition and Courtney made the time to fit them in which was greatly appreciated! They made the day run smoothly, all the girls felt so comfortable with them, and as the bride I felt so confident in my hair and make up all night long! Such wonderful people doing wonderful work!

Taylor and Courtney were amazing to work with. When I first met them both for my bridal trial they made me feel at ease. They both work so well together and you can tell they love what they do. The two of them completed a total of 10 people (8 hair and makeup and 2 just makeup) on my wedding day in record time. Everyone looked beautiful and was so happy with their work. I can not recommend them enough!

My experience with Courtney was 100% perfect from start to finish. The trial was excellent and made me feel comfortable and confident. My makeup look was better than I could have imagined, and she was so helpful with suggestions and information about the makeup so I knew what was going on the whole time. It lasted the entire day through all the happy tears, eating, drinking, no problem! The rest of my bridesmaids (and both mothers!) looked gorgeous and left feeling super great about themselves. I will recommend Courtney & her team to anyone and everyone!

I have used Gvzel & Co many times now! From my own wedding party to annual formal events and my daughter’s prom! Every single time they are fabulous! I am so confident in their work I now say “I trust you whatever you think is fine!”. They haven’t let me down yet. I felt like I was in full glam while still being able to recognize myself, which is sometimes rare when applying that much makeup. Courtney was such a pleasure to work with. After having too heavy of make up as a bridesmaid in the past, I asked Courtney to keep my wedding day look as natural as possible, and she absolutely nailed it. She elevated my everyday look above and beyond my expectations. Courtney was also fun to talk with as we got ready; all of my bridesmaid loved chatting with her. I cannot recommend Courtney enough!

Taylor was the absolute best! She was so open and friendly during the whole process, from booking to the big day. She did my hair as well as all three of my bridesmaids and my mom and everyone was SO thrilled with how their styles came out, they were talking about it all day. I had made a small change to what I wanted since we had done our trial and she didn't even blink an eye and gave me exactly what I was imagining, I truly felt so beautiful all day. And she was so fun to have in the house with us while we were getting ready! Would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

Incredibly talented & wonderful to work with!

I loved working with Courtney and Tay! I did a make-up/hair trial with them, and both that and my wedding day hair/make-up came out amazing! They both really have a gift for subtle, natural-looking make-up that enhances your natural beauty. In addition, both Courtney and Tay are so positive and fun to work with. Despite wedding planning being a stressful process, every interaction I had with them was smooth and stress-free. They were especially patient with every single person in my bridal party, and each of their individual needs/preferences. I would highly recommend TJ artistry!

I can’t recommend Taylor and Courtney enough! I came to them with very little vision of what I wanted as the bride, but they immediately made me feel comfortable and gave me beautiful suggestions based off what I was comfortable with and what I thought I wanted during the trial. Upon the day of the wedding, they were extremely reassuring and easy going when I decided to change up my hairstyle completely last minute and I couldn’t have loved the outcome more. It was perfect. They were so accommodating to incorporate fresh floral accents in my hair that my florist had made for both my bridesmaids and myself. Taylor and Courtney’s teamwork together is absolutely one of a kind with incredible communication and efficiency while both working together on one person, and they treat each other with the utmost respect. They finished my bridal party, mothers, and myself in record time with plenty of time to take pictures during and after getting ready. And I loved the little drawstring bag emergency kit they give you for the day full of things to help keep my make up and hair up and fresh. Absolutely loved them!

If you want absolute professionalism, fun and relaxed service then Taylor and Courtney are your answer! I worked with them for my daughters wedding and they were the absolute best, not only was all the hair and makeup stunning but they were so much fun the morning of the wedding! I'm not even sure how to encompass how incredible Tay and Courtney are - they not only made me and my bridal party feel stunning on my wedding day but they added so much fun to the day and most importantly made me feel like MYSELF which was so so essential for me. They are true professionals - experts at what they do no matter the hair type, skin type, wish or desire. They are magicians and listen deeply to what you want and need. Not only that but they roll with the punches. I am immunocompromised and Tay and Courtney were so kind to mask for my trial and then test the day of the wedding to make sure I felt comfortable.They showed up my wedding day with an awesome playlist in hand to get us all in the mood for the day - unfortunately I was sick and so getting IV fluids. For Tay and Courtney this was no issue at all and they worked around the IV and made sure I looked much better than I felt in the moment! They had the timing down perfectly too - expertly moving through each bridesmaid and mother with plenty of time leftover for touchups and throughout were just so kind and wonderful. I highly recommend these 2 for hair and make-up for any wedding or special event. They were so easygoing. Showed up on time with everything needed, smiles, and great attitudes. They had only had a practice run with the bride. As mother of the bride, I told them I wanted to look lovely but with a "natural" look. I gave them the creative license to do what they thought best and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the outcome.

Absolutely incredible, I truly wish I could given them 500 stars! Tay and Courtney were so easy to work with, organized, fun, and of course AMAZING at what they do. I appreciated their humor, their expertise, their flexibility and their overall dedication to making sure every single person they were working with was happy with their results. Bridesmaid changed her mind about a hairstyle after the fact? No problem! Tay covered it. I had a burn on my arm that needed concealing? Courtney was ON IT! I honestly wish to hang out with these two in real life, but for now I am just grateful I got to work with them for my wedding!

Courtney did an amazing job on all of our makeup! She nailed makeup on every skin type, including mature skin for the MOB and MOG. My bridesmaids were absolutely glowing and I have never seen my skin look so perfect or my eyes pop like they did on our wedding day. 1000% recommend

If you need a makeup artist look no further. Courtney was such a pleasure to have on my wedding day. I went to her having absolutely no idea what I wanted for my makeup trial she killed it and made sure I was happy before I left. On the wedding day I decided to see if she could just change my eyeshadow. She goes, “absolutely! I just bought this brand new palette with the colors on it.” I could go on forever about how sweet and down to earth she is but you’ll hopefully find out for yourself. My makeup never smudged and I honestly felt more beautiful. Thank you again for everything Courtney! Don’t ever change and I’ll definitely be in touch if I need my makeup done in the future.

Tay did my makeup for my recent engagement photo shoot! She listened to all of my requests and took my inspiration and brought it to life. She did such an amazing job of elevating my look. I was so happy to still look like “myself” but with waaaaaayyyyy better makeup than I could ever do myself!

Cannot recommend enough! Tay was so fun to work with and did a beautiful job on my hair and makeup for an engagement party. She took the time to talk with me about ideas and she made me feel confident and beautiful. 10/10!

The level of service and detail that Courtney and her team put forth on wedding day was wonderful! Courtney and Rebecca were very prompt, organized, and ready to go the morning of for services to be done on 8 people, including myself. My bridesmaids and mom’s were super impressed with the staying power of the makeup and hair styles that were created. Courtney was also very flexible and considerate of one of my bridesmaid’s allergies to specific makeup fragrance , making sure she felt comfortable. As for my makeup, Courtney nailed the whole look perfectly after I showed her a picture of what I was going for. I received many compliments the whole night on my hair and makeup and how beautiful the entire bridal party looked! I'm so happy I booked Taylor for my wedding! She did an amazing job on mine and my sisters hair, I couldn't have been happier with the result. Not only is she great with hair, but she's such a pleasure to work with. She's so kind and easy to talk to and very professional. Taylor did an excellent job with everything she did. I only needed services for myself, and she was very flexible with the plans I had for our wedding day. I really appreciated how she listened to my different ideas, especially since I wanted a half-up, half-down look for my engagement photoshoot and an updo for my wedding. I was able to use our trial session as a pre-engagement photoshoot make-up session, and she was able to trial both the wedding look and the engagement look right before we had to leave to meet our photographer. I went with a more natural look for my make-up for the engagement photoshoot, which was beautiful on its own, though I realized I liked more color and "pop" for my wedding photos. I requested if she could use brighter pinks for my wedding look. Taylor went and bought brand new makeup so that I could pick the pinks that I wanted. I really appreciated her enthusiasm and friendliness throughout our interactions, and that she was willing to do hair/make-up styles that were outside her usual to satisfy her clients. I loved how Taylor was able to work with me to achieve the looks I wanted. People told me I looked radiant, stunning, gorgeous, beautiful, and more! I truly felt all of those things because of Taylor, which were so fitting for the perfect day.

They did a fantastic job! My makeup and hair looked good until the end of the day, which is really impressive considering it was 92 degrees on my wedding day, my hair is really curly and I wore it straight, despite the humidity. I have never felt more beautiful. They were so easy to work with and really professional. I’d work with them again in a heartbeat!

I first saw Courtney's amazing work at my friend's wedding in 2019, and I knew I needed to hire her for my own wedding. She and her partner, Taylor (hair) were the absolute perfect duo for my group and we couldn't have been happier with how our hair and makeup came out on my big day. They both have such a laid back and calming presence, which is really important on your wedding day! They could have doubled as my therapists when pre-wedding jitters and anxiety started to kick in LOL :) Despite not being able to do a trial with them, my makeup and hair came out even better than I could have imagined. The vendor was great! It was my 1st time getting my make-up done so I was a little weary. She was confident which made it easier for me to let her do whatever she wanted w/my hair and make-up. Needless to say, she made me look the way a new bride is supposed to look on her wedding day. Beautiful!!

Gvzel & Co came to help my intimate group get ready for an event. Let me start by saying finding hair and makeup has been tough enough due to COVID-19. Courtney and her team were so cooperative and their cleanliness was impeccable. I have only had my makeup done a hand full of times and she made me feel beautiful and comfortable in my own skin. My group looked amazing! I would recommend them to anyone needing hair and makeup services!

Courtney traveled to my location to do my makeup for a black tie event on one of the coldest winter nights in 2019. She arrived on time, had a beautiful setup and was extremely sanitary. I was nervous about my makeup withstanding the night between the weather (18 degrees) and hours of dancing /sweating. Courtney assured and reassured me that my makeup would stay put. (It did! Even for the icy, windy walk to the parking garage) I have very sensitive, fair skin and tend to either look washed out or painted when I have my makeup professionally done. Courtney worked with me to create a look I loved, while suggesting the most complimentary colors for my skin tone. I felt so confident and beautiful. Courtney helped ease my anxiety and made me look and feel so gorgeous in such a quick amount of time. My makeup was flawless and didn’t budge throughout the event or the after party. If you’re looking for a makeup artist that will make you look incredible and help ease your mind, Courtney at Gvzel & Co. is my number one suggestion. I look forward to working with her again.

Taylor did my bridal hair and make-up for our extremely small pandemic wedding, and I couldn’t have asked for a better or more talented human! With no family in attendance (they live on the other side of the country), Taylor not only did an amazing job on my hair and make-up, but was so kind and warm and supportive I felt like I had family there. I can’t wait to have her do my hair and make-up again in a year (!) for our extremely delayed reception.

I cannot say enough good things about Taylor Jo Artistry! Taylor is amazing at what she does, and she cares about how you feel when she’s done. She wants you to love her work as much as she wants you to feel beautiful with it. She did my make up for my engagement photos, as well as my wedding. Each time I left her chair feeling beautiful. All of my bridesmaids loved Taylor’s work as well, and she was so patient with each and everyone. Doing touch ups for everyone at different points of the day just to make sure everyone loved how they looked. Bottom line, Taylor is amazing ! She will make your wedding day that much better!

I'm usually not a review person, but I was so impressed with Taylor. Even the girls in the group who were impossible to please (there's always one!) felt incredible once Taylor was done with them. We all know a tough bridesmaid is that last thing a bride needs to deal with on her wedding day and it was like Taylor stopped any issues before they even arose because she was so organized and professional but with the friendliest and most down to earth attitude. Anyone who can make the morning flow this smoothly deserves a 5 star review in my book and I know exactly who I'm calling when it's my own wedding. No stress, no drama - just fabulous hair and makeup that you'll spend your whole life trying to replicate yourself.

Oh happy day! As the mother of the bride, I was so nervous for the morning of the wedding but WOW did Courtney and Taylor wipe away any worries I had the moment that they walked in! It was immediately like they were part of the crew. Even the fussiest of the girls loved her look. It was like hiring an old friend who knew us each well to do the hair and make up. Each girl ended up with a look that was uniquely their own, but went with the wedding and my daughter's vision perfectly. Taylor and Courtney were both so calm and friendly, how could I worry. Courtney did my makeup for a wedding and I couldn’t be happier. She created such a flawless, natural look for me and was so fun and personable. I have combination skin, dry and oily, and the airbrush covered all my flaws and lasted far beyond what any other makeup has ever lasted. Taylor was so wonderful and is so talented. Their were a total of 11 girls needing makeup and I must say that the morning went by so quickly and smoothly.
