He never once tried to take advantage of the so called wedding tax and actually did the exact opposite, thoughtfully suggesting ways we could save or reallocate the budget while still getting an outstanding result. That is not typical in a vendor, and he stood out immediately because of his genuine kindness and understanding. I had a very specific vision in mind, and Steve blew me away with his execution. As I walked down the aisle you can see me gasping in photos because I was seeing his incredible floral design for the first time. The column and urn display at the start of the aisle, the stunning aisle arrangements, and the deconstructed columns all brought my wedding day to life. We kept the reception centerpieces simple but he did a great job with alternating the heights of the centerpieces so that it added height to the room. I’m not good with all the names of florals or describing specifics but somehow Steve was able to take what I did give him and give me exactly what I envisioned. I loved the style of my bouquet and wedding arch and the centerpieces were simple but adorable. He worked within a reasonable budget and worked well with my venue for set up and take down and all other communication. He was prompt to reply to emails with any questions I had and accommodating for any requests to tweak things. I would definitely recommend!

and my jaw dropped to the floor when I saw my florals on the wedding day, which were beyond beautiful. I didn’t buy much decor other than some signs and photos, and didn’t need to because of the way they made everything look so stunning. In addition, his customer service and professionalism is unmatched. He’s super responsive and helpful, works within your budget and doesn’t rip you off (which is rare in the wedding industry), and went out of his way to get my dress fabric for the bouquet. On the day of the wedding, we had to make an early decision about the venue’s ceremony arch because of the weather and the logistics of moving it out of the grass, and Steven actually went and got his arch and brought it so that I’d have one anyway if we needed it. I can not possibly recommend Gypsy Hill enough and have already passed the name on to any of my engaged friends!

We met about 3 total times in person and Steven (the owner) just "got it" from the start. He was so flexible when we changed our minds a couple times and also was very helpful in recommending certain flowers to achieve our color scheme based on the season we were in. Would definitely recommend Gypsy Hill for any event or need for floral design.

He showed us split arches which were so beautiful and we immediately knew we wanted to add these for our day. Steve had suggestions that were not only enhancing but also saved us money. My mom and I were so pleased and when the day came we were overwhelmed by the beauty he created. Everything just felt so elevated and when my now husband and I saw the dining room revealed we were just in awe of how perfect everything looked. I was clearly specific with what I wanted. So, I kept waiting and searching and I came across Steve at Gypsy Hill Florals. Steve immediately responded and asked me if he could set up a zoom call -- that was point number 1.... He spent an hour listening to my vision, looking at my inspiration photos, gathering my thoughts -- he also sat with me as I told him about my late grandfather and how I wanted my florals to honor him with blue in it. He knew my colors were white florals with green accents, but he also knew how he could incorporate blue. He paid attention to every detail, he sat there with me while I was flushing my ideas out, and more importantly he listened and fully executed the day of. He always answered my phone call, responded promptly - and when it was show time for our wedding, every single thing I wanted was displayed in a way I wouldn't have ever been able to put into words. Point number 2 -- along with so many was these florals were affordable, yet breathtaking and Steve made it so easy for us as he delivered and tore down in such a timely manner. I have already recommended Steve to one of my friends and I hope that our paths will cross again. If you need a florist -- stop looking and book with Steve!

Steve and his team battled one of the hottest days of the year and the flowers looked absolutely flawless despite the heat and bright sun!
