H & K Cinema was founded by Hunter Gregory, a professional videographer with years of experience in the creative industry. Hunter gained an insight into the world of videography and cinema while working as a musician during his teens. After interning at a renowned music studio, he learned more about the audio side of video production. Today, Hunter works alongside a small team of videographers and lead photographer Karie Sconyers. H & K Cinema offers a variety of services, including full-length videos, highlights, drone footage, and digital files. Karie are amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better team to join us in Costa Rica to celebrate! Hunter is super chill, easy to get along with and he pretty much blended in with our guests that I never realized he was actually around us shooting the whole night so there was never a camera in our faces. We just got back our video earlier this week and have received many glowing reviews from family/friends about how different and well done it was put together compared to other wedding videos. Hunter was very responsive to emails and texts. When I first inquired to get more information, he called me that same night to introduce himself. They were one of our favorite vendors to work with. It was such a relief to have someone walk you through the whole process, answering questions, contract, payments, all the details, plus being there to make sure all the special moments were captured for our video. Second, since we worked with him so much prior to the wedding day, we felt like we knew Hunter as a friend. He was very chill (which helped me to stay calm) and made us feel comfortable. That is very important. I believe all the reasons I listed are things that set H&K Weddings apart from some of the other videographers I contacted. Of course, Hunter has a team to help him and they were all wonderful to work with on the day of our wedding. We met Hunter and Karie in the afternoon to say hello and they got to work. I don't like in your face vendors, so he fit perfectly. After meeting with him, I decided on getting a package with both photo and video and I am so glad with that decision. A huge plus is that he stays from start to finish. His work is beautiful and captures events as they unfold naturally. He really zones in with the couples personality and atmosphere of the day. I get endless compliments on how great everything turned out. I still can watch my wedding video and pictures over and over ... and over again. he best shots possible. He was incredibly responsive to all of my emails and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. He was one of the absolute best photographers we've ever worked with! He did not make us do cheesy poses and he did not tell us exactly what to do. The entire session was very casual, with intimate and romantic moments. He really lets the couple lead the shoot which helps make the pictures more realistic. After each several pictures that he took, he let us look at them on his camera to explain them and make sure we liked them. Of course, they all looked incredible! I am excited to see the finished product. He is extremely affordable which is great for a couple who are looking to stick to a budget. You can really tell that he is passionate about what he does and takes care in making sure to capture the best moments. I would recommend Hunter at H&K to anyone and everyone! Our wedding pictures didn't turn out, but the video that we received back was phenomenal, organic and told our wedding story in such an artistic form and definitely made up for what we had lost in the photography section. He had even taken a handful of pictures during the day and sent them to us along with the video! Hunter Gregory
Owner
H&K Weddings was founded by Hunter Gregory, who has been in the creative industry since he was a teenager. Working around cameras and being inspired by the stories they can tell, has led him to the wedding scene where stories are told through the love of couples. Hunter has been a musician since the age of twelve and has gravitated toward videography and cinema, in part that it incorporates music within the video. His passion for being creative has pushed him to make powerful films and his love for travel has gone hand in hand with destination weddings + elopements alike.
