Hadden Estate at DGD Farms is a family-owned wedding reception venue in Watkinsville, GA. This romantic setting is nestled on an expansive blueberry farm, just a ten-minute drive from downtown Athens. Among the visually stunning landscapes, you will have multiple event spaces to choose from, each with their unique aesthetic to give you a fairytale ending. This 24-acre blueberry farm adorns lush landscaping and manicured lawns to create an elegant atmosphere for engaged couples to enjoy. Owners, Jennifer and John Hadden, first established this farm in 2016, and began their legacy with 2,600 blueberry bushes. They soon made their property available to both locals and visitors alike to create new memories with their loved ones. During your ceremony and reception, you will have both indoor and outdoor receptions to choose from. Up to 200 guests can be seated comfortably on the property at the setting you prefer. Their largest indoor area, the main reception hall, offers 5,800 square feet of floor space for couples to create their dream day. It features an antiqued red brick exterior, for a timeless photo backdrop, and an open-floor interior with custom chandeliers and minimalist decor. Reception hall flooring has been upgraded so a dance floor rental is NOT NEEDED! A new stage has also been built in the reception area and has bands and DJs lining up to entertain you and your guests! Outside the main hall is an open-air courtyard, with manicured shrubs and flourishing trees creating a breathtaking altar. Two separate dressing suites are available onsite, for you and your entourage to get ready in luxury. Hadden Estate at DGD Farms only books one event per weekend to ensure you have the entire property to yourself on your special day. A venue representative can provide you with an extensive list of vendors, from wedding planners to photographers, to help you achieve your nuptial vision. Tables and chairs are available (White padded folding chairs for the ceremony lawn and light natural wood crossback chairs for your reception), with golf cart options to help you travel from one setting to another. 4 natural farm tables (4'x8') added to our inventory to allow for a stunning estate table!
