Writing this review has been long overdue, but I couldn't let more time pass without expressing my gratitude to Lily from HairArt by Lilly. She played one of the most crucial roles in making my intimate wedding on 1/11/2024 absolutely perfect. With the whirlwind of wedding planning, I knew that investing in my hair and makeup was essential, and Lily exceeded all my expectations. I discovered Lily through her Instagram business page, where her portfolio showcased an array of classic hairstyles and natural makeup looks – exactly what I envisioned for my big day. From the moment I reached out to Lily via Instagram message, she was incredibly prompt and professional. What impressed me most was her willingness to hop on a phone call, making communication seamless and convenient. As someone who was hiring a professional makeup and hair artist for the first time, I was a bit unsure of what to expect. However, Lily's warmth and friendliness immediately put me at ease, making the entire process feel like chatting with a close friend. On the day of my wedding, Lily worked her magic and made me feel extra beautiful on my wedding day. I cannot thank her enough for her exceptional service and talent. Lily did hair and makeup for me and my bridal party. I absolutely adored her, I did trials with her and she was awesome about showing me all the options. She was so patient and great at communication. Most of all, I love her style. In all my photos it was just the right amount of makeup and it didn't look like too much. I was so happy with Lily and her team!

I had such a great experience with Lily! From the first time I contacted her to the day of, she was always communicative and friendly. During my bridal trial, she really listened to me and brought my vision to life. She was flexible when I wanted to change my hairstyle a few weeks before the wedding and helped with suggestions on hair pieces and extensions. Day of, she was punctual (very important to me!). She did 8 hairstyles & two flower girls (under the age of 3) - she was SO great with the young girls. Everyone looked amazing and were happy with their hair! We had a MUA come to help with makeup and she was great as well. I would definitely recommend Lily for your wedding hair & makeup!

I found Lily on Instagram. I loved all the pictures she had on her Instagram of the brides she worked on. I reached out to her and she was available for my special day. I booked a trial and she made me feel beautiful. From the moment I met her, I was so happy I had booked her for my special day. She’s so friendly and I got to know her. She was so detailed in her work. She listened to all my requests. She was very organized and timely. She planned out the schedule for my big day since she did my makeup & hair for not only me but also my bridemaids and my mom. She left us feeling amazing!! Everyone loved her. I would highly recommend Lily.

I found Lily on Instagram originally and booked my wedding hair and make up trial. Immediately she was able to help me identify the look that would fit me perfectly for my wedding. She is so friendly and comfortable to talk to as well. On my wedding day, everything came out perfectly! I loved my hair and make up look. I am so thankful to Lily!

I booked Lily for both my wedding hair and makeup, along with hair and makeup for a few other family members. Before the wedding, Lily provided exceptional communication regarding what I was looking for, the process of booking, how trials worked, and how the wedding day timeline would go. During the trial, she worked with me to ensure my vision stayed my vision (advocating for me to do what I wanted vs. what others had in mind), while also letting me know where I could be flexible in my vision to make sure my face/hair was adequately complemented (i.e., letting me know a certain hair part could frame my face better, etc.). Overall, she was professional, timely, extremely skilled/talented, and most importantly, kind and empathic. I loved getting to chat with her during my hair and makeup, which truly helped me feel at ease on the big day! I also had asked her to soften my eye makeup during the trial and she made notes on that day to remember what to do on the day of the wedding, which was so helpful and accurate to what I had wanted tweaked! Lily helped make me feel incredibly beautiful-- I wouldn't have changed a thing regarding my hair or makeup for my special day and I love my pictures!

Lily was amazing! She did hair and makeup for myself, 6 bridesmaids and my mom for my Temecula wedding on 5/20/23. She was professional, warm and kind. She is a great communicator and was quick to send quotes, contracts and schedule phones visits or trials. Her work was beautiful - I adored my hair and makeup. I did not have a vision of what I wanted (in the midst of the other 1000 wedding decisions) so she helped guide me to a makeup look I loved. I changed my mind about hair about 3 times and the end result was stunning. She also took care to make sure I was prepared for any touch ups needed at the venue once her work was done. I got her name from a family friend who got married and now highly recommend her to my friends as well.

Lily was absolutely fantastic!! I knew she was going to be great anyway seeing as my best friend recommended her after Lily did hair and makeup for her wedding a few years ago. Lily is so sweet and accommodating. Whatever you’d like done, she’ll get it done for you. If you want recommendations, she’ll give you her thoughts too, but won’t push anything on you, she did my hair and makeup exactly like how I imagined it’d be for my wedding . She even did my bridal party makeup and hair with the help of her assistant who was also great! Would definitely book Lily again in the future!

Lily has been amazing! I first reached out to her a year before my wedding after reading all the positive reviews and seeing the beautiful photos of her work on Instagram. She explained everything and I felt extremely confident in booking her. She did my makeup for my engagement photo shoot and I felt so beautiful and confident. We did my bridal trial and she did both my hair and makeup which came out perfectly. Lily works quickly but she’s extremely efficient and is confident in her profession. I highly recommend her for your special day!

Lily did my hair and makeup on 3 separate occasions: engagement photoshoot, wedding bridal trial and for my wedding, and I could not be happier with each appointment I had. Lily is extremely personable, and I always had great conversations with her. I also always left with the best makeup recommendations, and she had great tips after my bridal trial for a haircut to make my bridal hairstyle look even more amazing on the day of (which it did)! She was very receptive to any changes I wanted to make after my trial and really took them to heart. I felt incredibly beautiful on my wedding day and my hair and makeup was everything I envisioned! Also – Lily did hair and makeup for my 4 bridesmaids and 2 moms ALL BY HERSELF! She showed up on time at 8AM and finished by 4PM - exactly when she said she would. Honestly, I was so impressed by her, and she was one of my favorite vendors I hired for my wedding. Also, her prices were reasonable – hire her now while you have the chance! Thank you, Lily!!

Lily was absolutely incredible! I was able to schedule a trial when it was convenient to try out a couple of hair styles and explore my makeup options. It was fabulous. She is so sweet and honest with her recommendations. Ahead of the wedding, she provided a schedule for the day so girls knew when to be ready for her. She’s easy to text with or call. On wedding day, she arrived early and was able to get started. So incredibly appreciative of her and how I felt on my wedding day. Can’t wait for more photos!!! Thank you Lily!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better MUA for my big day. My bridesmaids and I like our makeup more on the natural side and she did just that. Lily made it so that our makeup was still beautiful yet natural. The way she did my hair was magical! Her and her assistant were super accommodating. 10/10 would recommend.

Lily was the beauty guru on my wedding day. She did hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaids and my husbands mom and grandmother. She was so punctual and kept us all on schedule. She did a romantic low updo that was just gorgeous. She did a beautiful job and my ladies and I loved it!

It was such a wonderful experience working with Lily ! I found Lily online and easily booked her to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day and 4 bridesmaids. she came to my Hotel suite on the wedding day and arrived on time (actually she was even early :). She was extremely professional, kind, and she is really great at what she does. I would absolutely use her services again and I highly recommend her. I got married on the beach and it was extremely windy - but my hair stayed perfect the whole time. I was happy that Lily uses high quality makeup, makeup brushes and everything was sanitized in between appointments . My makeup looked so good that I didn't even want to wash it off at the end of the night lol. Thank you Lily for making me and my bridesmaids look so beautiful on my wedding day!

I felt so lucky to have found Lily! She was absolutely fantastic and made the hair and makeup experience so easy going and made the bridal party looking stunning. The bridal party was raving about her even after the wedding. As soon as I met Lily during my hair and makeup trial, I knew I would go with her. She understood my vision for hair and makeup and she even went over the things we talked about before my wedding day to make the experience even more personalized. Lily is the absolute best! After my wedding trial with her I also used her for my bachelorette party make-up and hair. She made everyone in our bridal party feel like queens on our wedding day! She listened to what everyone had in mind for their look and completely mastered it!

Destination weddings make many things easier but can also be difficult because for a lot of reasons but the main being you do not have the luxury of meeting vendors or doing a trial run before the big day. For things like hair and make-up that can either be great or it can go very wrong. I can honestly say I got so very lucky with Hair Art By Lily . I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. My bridesmaids also all felt beautiful. Lily and her assistant did an amazing job and I cannot thank them enough for how I felt. 100% recommend them for any event!

AMAZING hair and makeup artists! Lily and her team did a wedding for 8 of us. They promptly showed up at our door at 6:30am as the wedding was an afternoon wedding! I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup artist than Lily! I hired Lily to do my hair and makeup for my engagement photo shoot and Lily was not only professional, but she was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating to help me figure out which look would look best but also make me feel confident want for my special occasion. I cannot say enough good things about Lily! Not only is she a lovely person but she is a magician at hair and makeup and perfectly balances making you feel glamorous and stunning without any sense of being overly done or unnatural. Lily was THE BEST person by far that I worked with for my wedding! Not only did she answer all of my questions (and I had a lot) but she always answered them right away! She is super accommodating with work schedules, she is very talented at what she does as well as extremely sweet, funny, and friendly! If I ever need my hair and make up done for anything, I am definitely coming to her! I will also recommend her to anyone I know that needs their hair and/or make up done!

Lily is amazing! She is so talented and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. She made scheduling my hair and makeup trial easy. The day of my wedding she arrived early to set up. She is really talented at creating hairstyles rather quickly. What I loved most about my hair and makeup was that it gave me bridal glam, but I still looked like myself and I didn’t feel overdone. My hair and makeup also lasted all day and night. I was worried about needing touch ups but didn’t need any at all. Lily is such a sweet lady with so much talent! Book her!

The trial was so easy she tried different hairstyles for me and the makeup was so light but so perfect! She is the best! She is also very sweet and easy going I am so lucky to find her ! I had so many compliments for my wedding and it lasted all night even through my hot beach wedding! I will recommend her to all my friends! I am very, very happy with the services provided to me by Lily and her team .They provided me with two hair and make up looks for my Wedding and Reception. My bridal party was ready 30 mintes before the time for the first look so happy that we didn’t have to rush to change . Makeup lasted all night , my curls lasted till the next morning and usually that fallout 2 hours later .
