I've tried writing this review many times but I've struggled to put into words just how perfectly Amanda from VIP executed all of the details of our wedding at Villa Como. It exceeded our expectations beyond belief.
I'll start with the venue...If you're looking for a combination of Italy, Laguna Beach, ocean views, and an elegant dinner party vibe, then Villa Como is the venue for you. The moment my husband and I stepped foot into Villa Como we immediately knew it was the perfect venue and could not stop talking about it. Not only is the property absolutely stunning, but you get panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and it feels like you're above the clouds. We loved that we had privacy (super important for us) and could host all parts of the night in one location - ceremony on the grass, cocktail hour by the pool, dinner on the upper level, and dancing under the stars. I think this estate may be the most beautiful place in Laguna Beach.
As for Amanda and VIP - they are the best people you could ever work with. After the wedding, my husband and I actually felt sad that we wouldn't be communicating with Amanda on a regular basis anymore. She made us feel so calm and taken care of not only leading up to the wedding, but also day of, which is incredibly important. All of the VIP vendors were amazing to work with as well, and it was SO NICE not having to source every single vendor ourselves. Knowing that we had a reputable florist, bakery, catering, and DJ took such a weight off our shoulders. Day of, I had a dress emergency where blue ink was left on my dress from alterations, and Amanda handled it all so calmly, remained poised, and even had one of her staff members run out to get some chalk or whiteout to cover it up. You are truly so taken care of every step of the way. Our wedding was in July and our guests haven't stopped raving about how perfect it was. A beautiful venue, amazing view, and every last detail accounted for. We can't emphasize enough how much we recommend Amanda & VIP. Hiring them is one of the best decisions we made!

Amanda and Sanya + team are truly your wedding dream team. Amanda is the lead planner and did an incredible job with our wedding at the VIP Mansion. The day was perfect and exceeded all of our expectations!! Thoughtfully executed and well communicated throughout the entire planning process The team was so incredible, and allowed for the wedding planning process to be seamless and relaxing. Amanda was on top of every detail, so we didn’t have to worry. We’d highly recommend to anyone looking to have the wedding of their dreams!
Where to begin with this amazing group... My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams in the heavenly Villa Como Estate this past year. After searching for venues that did not match the vision I had for our wedding, I almost gave up on the whole idea. But then we made a trip to Villa Como and met the one who made it all happen, Amanda. From the moment we met Amanda for our first tour, we walked out knowing - okay this is the venue and this is her who will make it happen. We already had a sense of trust & ease and were blown away at her genuine kindness and personable demeanor. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she is so friendly and easy going. She is the best wedding coordinator anyone can ask for, not one detail was missed throughout the entire process. We met Sanya and Sophia later on in the process, and we just thought - can this team get any nicer?! VIP Weddings and Events is truly the most professional, kindest, hard working, and accommodating service we were so lucky to have had for our wedding. They even made sure to take care of my disabled father the day of making sure everything was seamless, stress-free and to the exact vision I had. All our guests raved about the service, venue, and decor to this day. Communication was excellent throughout the whole team and made the wedding process so calm and enjoyable. Our wedding vision truly would not have been carried out had it not been for this wonderful respectful team. I also want to address the vendors who were just as amazing - Tustin Florist, Lotus Events, Jason's Catering, DJ Julian, Pacific Patisserie, and Security Team - all vendors that work with VIP. (sorry if I missed anyone). Best decision was going with VIP Events and Weddings. They really took care of us and both our families, and it was honestly the best night of my life. Everything was so beautiful and enjoyable, and the venue is just breathtaking. Truly wonderful group and recommend 10/10.
Can not recommend Amanda and her team enough! Taking the craziness out of wedding planning VIP Events & Weddings makes you feel at ease with lists, recommendations, venue tours, and meetings/reminders. That was just the planning and organizing before hand! If there was something that needed customizing or tweaking Amanda our planner/coordinator was on it. Really making sure that even though they had options it was our call on how we wanted to do things. When it came time for our special day, we knew we were in good hands, and they delivered. Really taking it up an extra notch, the whole team was on top of it, allowing us to focus on the special moment and enjoy the wedding. Amanda’s professionalism and expertise is someone you need in your corner. If you’re still undecided remember this is one and done, and you want to get it right, this is your girl and this is your team. Where do we start? I don't think there is enough space in this review to see all of the wonderful things we want to say about Sanya and the VIP team. From the very first conversation on the phone we can remember how pleasant Sanya was and how inviting and warm she felt on the phone. We knew right away that we wanted her to be our coordinator. What we didn't realize, was how incredible the venues that she offers were. It was like going to a five star Michelin rated restaurant in opening the menu that was pages long and you had no idea where to start. When we eventually did settle on a venue, everything fell into place after that like clockwork. She set the schedule and timeline for everything leading up to the event, and for us it's truly felt like the entire process was easy. I'm not sure how that was possible given the amount of detail and all of the intricacies behind the scenes, but Sanya really made the entire process smooth and flawless. All of our family and friends have been talking about our wedding ever since, and we feel like with Sanya and her team we have met friends for life. Cannot say enough great things but please if you're looking for perfection, call Sanya and her team.
We had the best experience with Amanda at VIP Events and Venues. She was extremely present and helpful from the day we toured the venue to the minute we left on our wedding night (and beyond). She was organized, communicative, thoughtful, fun and made every details of our wedding planning experience as smooth and easy as possible. She made us feel extremely cared for on our wedding day and I can't image what it would have been like without her help, from small details to finance navigation, and major day-saving tips. Having VIP's expertise over the year plus of planning is something I'd recommend to any friend! They are the behind the scene Rockstars you need for your wedding!!

The most important aspect to any project that is set forth is a good foundation, and nothing is more solid than Amanda and her team at Hamilton Oaks Events. There was always a clear line of communication and the best part about having them was that our day was stress free because we had total trust Amanda, our wedding coordinator, would take care of us. She is beyond professional, organized, detail oriented, kind and compassionate— she treated us as if we were her only couple even though 2021 has been crazy busy for them. She helped guide our choices and set up all our meetings with our cake designer, florist, wine tasting, rentals, and food vendor (we would have had DJ, too, but we opted for our own). Because of all the main aspects planned for us, the time we saved hunting for vendors and coordinating with them, I was able to use that time to do the DIY, personal touches to make our wedding over the top. With the pandemic, Amanda and her team continued to be responsive. Even with the minor hiccups that happened during our wedding, which was completely out of their control, everything from our guests’ perspective went without a hitch. It was the most memorable and fun wedding, and our guests continue to say that this wedding was one of the best they ever attended. Even though this company is great, Amanda just carried this event through, and she is worth every single cent. Choose wisely and have HOVE take care of you. It’ll be the best wedding decision ever made.
We got married at Villa Contempo in Orange with the backdrop of Santiago Canyon and it was the most gorgeous, beautiful, stress-less experience we could have asked for. The wedding exceeded all expectations in both look and planning. We worked with Amanda throughout the whole experience, a full 1 year in advance, and she did so much work for us, especially on the day of the wedding. She was always responsive via email and text, she would let us know if she was too busy to answer right that moment but always got back to us with our answers. She arranged for us to meet with Jason's Catering, Sweet Traders, Tustin Florist, DJ Julian Miranda, and even accompanied us to the floral appointment where we got tons of planning done face to face. She contacted my photographer, videographer, hair & makeup team for us to create a timeline and make sure everyone was on the same page. On the day of the wedding, we had 192 guests, so she had 2 assistants Sara and Sanya that were also so sweet, friendly, and helpful. She took care of all the boxes we brought of decorations, place cards, party favors, kids toys; we just left them in her hands and everything ended up exactly where they needed to go. All of the hiccups that happened on the wedding day were taken care of by her team without worrying us and she only brought up a couple things to us that were easily taken care of. The venue itself is gorgeous; we mostly stayed in the lower section with the guest house, our ceremony and reception were outside around the pool, it was a warm night in June, and everyone had a view of the sunset in the canyon. We extended our party until 11pm and the indoor dance floor was packed all night, especially because the bar was right next to it. The guest house was the perfect place to get ready for our 30 people, the girls all had plenty of space to get ready upstairs, the guys had the entire downstairs, and the full kitchen made it easy to lay out snacks and food for getting ready. Overall, we had the perfect experience for our wedding thanks to Amanda and her team and we highly recommend VIP for anyone needing that stress-free experience.

Literally life-savers! After we lost our original hotel venue due to COVID, we had only 2 weeks to find a replacement venue and all the major vendors (catering, florist, rentals etc.). After a few days of stress and lots of tears, we got lucky and stumbled upon Sanya and her team. As if waving a magic wand, she took all my worries away and arranged all the vendor meetings and just made it all happen in record time! All the vendors came through and blew us away on the day of our wedding! Everything was perfect and beautiful and made me forget about this crazy year and the pandemic going on. Sanya and her team literally SAVED my wedding day and they were so attentive and incredible on the day of, that my family is still talking about it! Thank you so much!

We could not be happier with the service provided by HOV Events. Amanda was our coordinator and she was simply wonderful. Going the extra mile ensuring not only the venue was in tip top shape but that all vendors used, delivered everything we dreamed of...... the flowers, the photographer, the caterer, the cake..... so delicious, so beautiful, so professional. The day of the wedding flowed so smoothly ! Our guests even noticed & complimented “the team”. So THANK YOU for making my son & new daughter-in-law and us so very happy.
We has the most wonderful experience planning and having our wedding with VIP at one of the beautiful locations. Amanda and Sanya made everything so easy and truly became friends by the end. We loved that they managed our major vendors (catering, floral, rentals, cake, valet, security and DJ) all on our contract directly with them and I can tell you the prices were extremely competitive. We also felt that we got better service from each of these vendors because they know the VIP team so well! I’d recommend them to anyone getting married.

Ever since our "VIP" wedding, my husband and I have been wishing we could relive the night over and over again! First of all, all their venues are amazingly beautiful! Working with VIP (especially our coordinator, Sanya) was such a delightful experience. I found myself wondering when the stress of wedding planning was going to hit me but it never did thanks to all the work that Sanya does behind the scenes. VIP makes planning such a breeze because they already come with carefully curated, awesome vendors (catering, cake, florals, DJ/MC). Sanya helped us coordinate all the meetings - all we had to do was show up and tell them what we liked! Throughout the whole process Sanya gave us great suggestions and helped us stay within budget. Our wedding was everything we wished for and more!! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I am so grateful my husband and I choose this venue with AMAZING people. We met with a dozen or so wedding coordinators at all-inclusive wedding venues and after meeting Amanda I knew one of the VIP venues would be for us! We ended up going with Hamilton Oaks in San Juan and you really can’t go wrong with any of the venues. I had the mindset that I wanted a professional to help me along the way because I didn’t start with a dream wedding in mind. And boy oh boy did Amanda deliever my dream wedding!! All of our appointments were booked for us and she made sure I was getting done the things I needed to along the way. If you are a busy bride and need someone working with you to get everything done, go with them! Oh and the day of the wedding she took care of everything. I was able to enjoy the day and night with all my friends and family! It truly was our best day ever!
Amanda was my wedding coordinator and she did an absolutely amazing job. Beforehand, we were worried about all of the little details and what to ask at our meetings, etc. But as soon as we met with Amanda she put our minds at ease. She took care of all the little details and organized everything for us. The day of went just as smooth as all of the planning beforehand. We are truly grateful to have had Amanda as part of our perfect day.
We were so excited when we found this venue for our event and loved the way everything turned out! Kaleigh was wonderful to work with and make the process SO easy! She helped us make sure every detail was taken care of and coordinated all of our vendors (other than showing up to pick cake, flowers, food, drinks, linens, music, etc she coordinated EVERYTHiNG)!! Being able to relax on our wedding day knowing Kaleigh had it taken care of was worth every penny! There was an ownership change at the venue that made the month leading up to the wedding rather difficult, but the day of was perfect and exceeded our expectations in every way! Every detail was perfect and all of the staff went above any beyond to make sure we were happy. We even had a family friend follow up after the wedding saying how impressed they were with the staff and how professionally they handled everything on the day of the wedding. The location is absolutely gorgeous! We have recommended the venue to multiple friends since. Make sure you ask for Kaleigh when you call, she was a superstar!
Just got back from our honeymoon and 2 weeks later, we are still on a high from our wedding at Hamilton Oaks/A Stone's Throw Winery. THIS WEDDING VENUE IS A DREAM! It is everything we had dreamed about, hoped for, AND MORE!
For anyone who is considering this venue as a wedding option, we have a few things to share:
1. THE FREEWAY IS NOT AN ISSUE. This was something we were so worried about before the wedding. We were worried about the sound of the cars and if guests would be distracted. It was not an issue. People are talking during the cocktail hour and enjoying themselves so much, they didn't notice. I repeat: It is not an issue.
2. THE TRAIN IS NOT AN ISSUE. If it went by, I never noticed. It definitely did not come during our ceremony and I never noticed it during the reception.
3. The sunset is A DREAM. It's so beautiful while it sets during the reception. We had a 430-5pm ceremony, 5-6 cocktail, and 6-10 reception. It was perfect timing for photos and the sunset.
4. I got ready in the bridal suite and it was so fun to watch the wedding get set up while we got ready. It's close quarters, but we made it work. The staff was so kind and helpful throughout the day.
5. The Staff is amazing. Everyone is so lovely and helpful. Best Security and Staff Ever! Our guests had an amazing time.
6. The wedding coordinators at VIP Events and Weddings are so wonderful and helpful. We could not have asked for a better team than Kaleigh and Sanya. And the vendors they provide in packages are incredible.
Obviously, we could not be happier. I could not gush more. Thank you to everyone at Hamilton Oaks/A Stone's Throw and VIP Events and Weddings. We had the perfect day and you were a HUGE reason why!
LOVED LOVED LOVED this venue, Sanya Strelec, her beautiful staff and all of the vendors that came in this package. They made wedding planning fun! The VIP Mansion is absolutely breathtakingly GORGEOUS. The backyard and pool are a perfect backdrop for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Beautiful scenery - so "California" Our guests then went back around front to enter into the front door for the reception. Once the door opens .. WOW. My husband and I loved telling people that we got married (200 guests) in their foyer! We had a magical night inside that house. Just as important, Sanya Strelec and her team. They successfully helped me convert my vision into reality. Sanya always made me feel like I was her only client. I could see she was busy, but I never felt rushed or de-prioritized. She also is genuinely excited for all of her clients. When planning a wedding and dealing with all of the vendors, it is so important to have someone who you feel "has your back" and really wants you to have a perfect day. Not only is Sanya uber organized, but she also has a special talent for design and helping you achieve that extra "flare" to your wedding. My ultimate wish was to have something unique that people would remember and Sanya helped us achieve that. We even had a rain drenched weekend and Sanya helped make our day perfect - regardless of the weather! The best part about it all? Once the wedding was done and everything was cleaned up and the next couple was on deck... I walked away from this with a friend for life. I am so happy that Sanya will be a smiling face that I can always connect with. I would recommend VIP Events & Weddings over and over and over again.
Sanya and Hillary are so enjoyable to work with. They made planning so easy and everything came out better than expected. I'm so glad I was able to have them as my wedding coordinators!
Hamilton Oaks was an amazing venue to have our wedding at. Not only were they very organized and accommodating, but they were friendly and great to work with. Specifically, Sanya (our coordinator) was especially spectacular. She was detail-oriented, communicative, and was truly invested in our special day.
Many times when you see 5/5 ratings, you become skeptical that the reviewer just clicked buttons. However, this review is very genuine and the execution of our wedding was, in fact, PERFECT.
My wife and I feel truly blessed and fortunate to have found Sanya and Hamilton Oaks. To be honest, I almost feel guilty for having spent the amount of money that we did and receiving SO MUCH. I would not be surprised if they decided to charge more for their services because we feel as if we received so much value for what we invested in our once in a lifetime experience.

While planning my only daughter’s destination wedding, we toured many venues and were a bit underwhelmed by most. Then we came across Venues In Paradise and met one of their coordinators, Sanya Mitrovic. She was such a delight to work with – from the very moment we met her until now, even few months after the wedding! She is the most genuine, hard working, dedicated and patient person we’ve come across! We were worried about planning a large wedding from another state, but Sanya and her team took care of every detail and we actually quite enjoyed the planning process and the wedding day! Everything turned out even better than my daughter and our family ever imagined! The flowers were gorgeous, food was first class, the entire staff was very polite and helpful and they all worked very hard to ensure that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all went smoothly! We got so many compliments on the day of and our guests are still calling us and telling us that my daughter’s wedding was THE BEST WEDDING they have EVER been to! I am only sorry that it’s all over – I really enjoyed it very much and cannot thank Sanya and Venues In Paradise for making sure everything went perfectly. I recommend them to anyone who wants a unique, personal, stress-free, gorgeous and fun wedding celebration!

My name is Mihaela Ardelean, I got married on September 29, 2012 and I would like to share with all of you that I am very happy I choose Venues In Paradise for the most important day of my life. I can’t give enough praise to Sanya Mitrovic and the entire Venues In Paradise staff for making my wedding day the most amazing day of my life!!! Where do I begin? Initially, I wanted to find all my own vendors (I thought it would save me money) and book a venue which allowed me to bring them. However, after touring a couple of beautiful mansions with VIP, Sanya told me about their preferred vendors and explained why it was important to go with the reputable vendors who had experience working TOGETHER and at my venue. I did lots of research, met and tried a few of them and decided to book their all-inclusive package! I am so glad I did – they all took care of everything and made my whole planning process exciting and easy. The VIP vendors were very accommodating, flexible and talented! All the appointments were setup for me and Sanya coordinated all the vendors and communicated with them about the timeline, parking instructions etc. IF there were any issues on the day of my wedding – none of us knew! Everyone always had a smile on their face, they worked hard to make all of us happy (which at times wasn’t easy, since we had a pretty large wedding party) and the entire day was a PERFECTION and 110% success! My guests can’t stop talking about it (they loved the food – they said it was the best food they ever had) and were beyond impressed with the beauty of the mansion and how well organized the entire day was. To all the new brides out there: enjoy not just your wedding day, but also the planning leading up to it! I highly recommend you book one of VIP’s gorgeous estates and if you are lucky enough to get Sanya as your coordinator – you will be in great hands! Good luck!
I love absolutely everything about the Palazzo Mansion. The mansion is a bit secluded which made it the perfect venue for my wedding. My guests had the opportunity to walk around the mansion and explore all of its locations. My family and friends were all impressed with the gorgeous location and the wonderful planning of my wedding planner, Sanya at Venues in Paradise. Venues in Paradise took all of my wedding ideas and transformed them into the most beautiful and unique wedding I could have imagined. Sanya paid close attention to every single detail and made sure my wedding was exactly how I pictured it to be. Thank you very much Venues in Paradise for a day I will never forget. I will definitely recommend Sanya at VIP to anyone that wants a wedding they will always remember.
I had my Wedding ceremony and reception at this mansion and it was a perfect moment! The estate itself was gorgeous and there were so many amazing places for photos. The views were breathtaking. We got a lot of incredible pictures and memories out of it and all of our guests were sooo impressed, they still talk about our wedding! I felt like a King with my Queen at my side. It was truly memorable. The Venues In Paradise team and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I have to say a special thank you to Sanya Mitrovic from Venues In Paradise who was with us every step of the way! I don't know how things would have turned out without her… She eased all our worries and with the importance of our big day we had a lot of them :) She made sure everything went smoothly and did a lot of hand-holding and was always there for us. She was very prompt and on top of every detail, and that made the whole planning process stress-free and easy for us! That was a big part of our Special Day. I don’t leave many reviews, but after talking to some of my friends that recently got married and hearing their stories I realized that we really lucked in with Sanya and the VIP team and wanted to let everyone else know about this gem. I can't say enough how much easier and better every detail of our wedding was with Sanya's help! I highly recommend Venues In Paradise – they did an amazing job on my wedding day and helped so much with all the planning leading up to our big day. Thanks guys!

What a gorgeous location for a wedding!! I knew upon getting engaged that Palazzo Mansion was at the tip top of my list for wedding venues, it took one look and we were sold! I couldn't dream something better. The staff was great to work with so flexible and accommodating to our needs and wants. And the food, oh the food, it was so unlike typical wedding fare. It was delicious, I ate my entire plate, no not very lady like but I just couldn’t not!!! Would definitely recommend this to any bride looking for a unique, gorgeous one of a kind wedding venue!
When my husband and I got engaged we looked at a number of venues near and far and ultimately decided to go with Venues in Paradise for several reasons. 1.) The venue locations are all stunning and met my requirements of simple, elegant and comfortable. I wanted something that was beautiful, but wanted a feeling of home and intimacy that you can't get at most hotels or other commercial venues. 2) I wanted as little stress as possible. I had worked in the wedding industry for 15 years doing everything from selling the venue to the actual catering and wedding planning and I knew from experience that weddings can be a lot of stress, but they don't have to be. If you have solid vendors, a good location and a great team, you can have a flawless wedding. Venues in Paradise, particularly Sanya provided all of this. She was a pleasure to work with and truly enjoys what she does. She treats every bride like they are her only customer and she also treats all of her vendors well, something you can see in how they respond to her. I did not have my wedding at this particular venue, although I have seen it and would recommend it. But beyond the venues, I would recommend Venues in Paradise to any bride looking for her dream wedding. I have nothing but wonderful memories from my wedding day, from the cake which was amazing even a year later on our anniversary, to the stunning flowers (Tustin Florist) to the catering which was wonderful. I can't thank Sanya and Venues in Paradise enough for making my wedding day a truly memorable one. (Our wedding was on May 7, 2011 - not sure why it's showing 3/5/11)
I was very happy with my whole wedding experience. The planning was so much fun, I got to pick everything out and it was truly stress-free like they promised! I LOVED my wedding day! It was so beautiful and perfect! I was expecting something to go wrong, as everyone told me that it often happens, but everything went without a hitch! My guests and family were so impressed with the mansion. We were very lucky to get Sanya Mitrovic to coordinate everything - we love her! She was awesome, took care of everything and really paid attention to every detail and made sure I was happy and taken care of at all times! Through this whole process, we actually became friends and it's nice to know that Sanya really cares about me and I wasn't just a "client" to her. We are still in touch.

My fiancé and I got engaged and decided to get married three and a half months later so my brother could attend the wedding (he was deploying to Afghanistan in the following month). I had no idea where to begin and thought it was hopeless. I found Venues in Paradise on The Knot and email an inquiry late at night. When I woke up in the morning I already had a response from Sanya Mitrovik saying she would be delighted to help me plan my wedding. Sanya is not only prompt, exceptional and talented, but she’s a joy to be around! She said that she could easily plan this wedding in three and a half months since she planned one recently that was only 9 days! She has done so many weddings that she foresees issues that you could never imagine. I trusted her with every idea and recommendation. My fiancé’s father passed away a few days before our wedding and Sanya was so thoughtful that she had a picture frame engraved with his name for our ceremony. The vendors that Venues in Paradise uses are top notch. The catering company had the best food I have ever had at the wedding and the flowers were to die for! Our guests are still calling our wedding the wedding of the century! I am happy to personally speak with anyone that wants to use Sanya as their wedding planner. I have already recommended this company and Sanya to all of my girlfriends! Best of luck on your wedding planning!
We just got married last week and had the most amazing event were could have ever dreamed of and even better than we hoped. Everything was very upscale and well done. Our guests were very impressed and stated it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Sanya was very professional and flexible in handling our contract and vendor arrangements. We couldn't have pulled off such a stress-free event without all of Jamie's hard work to keep everyone on track including coordinating all aspects of the wedding from the first day of planning up to the day of our event. When needed they were very supportive and flexible in making sure all of our needs were met. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality event.

All the included vendors did a great job, especially the caterer and the florist. We got many compliments on the food and flowers. Overall, our wedding planning process went smoothly, and my wife and I enjoyed our wedding day greatly. Our venue was incredibly beautiful, and all our guests were very impressed. I highly recommend Sanya and her VIP venues.
My wedding adventure started on 5-12-11 when my fiance proposed to me at disneyland. We set the date for 6-2-12 and started our hunt for a venue right away. My now-husband's sister found Venues in Paradise online and gave me Sanya's contact. I gave her a call, and from our very first conversation, she won me over. She was so sweet and seemed genuinely interested in her prospective bride. After my husband and I met with her, we knew she would be a keeper. Throughout the first few months, we continued searching and looked at several other venues, and contacted other coordinators. But in the end, we happily decided to go with venues in paradise, due to the truly unique venue, value, and especially Sanya.
We picked the Venetian Mansion in San Juan Capistrano, which is NOT where this review promotes (I am not able to write a review for our particular mansion on this website). Because our wedding did not take place at the Palazzo mansion, I will focus the rest of my review on the service from VIP and Sanya.
We couldn't be more pleased with the vendors that VIP provided. We did not have a choice in these vendors: caterer/bar: Jason's, florist: Tustin Florist, DJ: Oda Entertainment, rentals: Signature rentals, cake: Pacific Bakery. Although there were a few minor issues with our Dj, which will be explained in a separate review, I can't stress enough how wonderful all of these vendors were! It was great having these vendors pre-selected for us. It saved us from the stress of having to choose from thousands of vendors out there. This kept costs down and assured we would receive a reliable & quality service/product.
Sanya was so sweet, accommodating, professional, and helpful during our whole year of planning. She was generally easy to get a hold of, and responded to all our questions & concerns in a thorough and professional manner. She made all our appointments for us (florist, rentals, food tasting) and accompanied us to every single one. She was in constant contact with all our outside vendors (photographer, videographer, photobooth, yogurtland, makeup/hair, musician, pastor, etc) and made sure everyone was on the same page and up to date with all changes. I must mention that she was not able to attend our wedding due to giving birth just a few days before our wedding!! Although my husband and I were super bummed she couldn't attend, she somehow managed to have our wedding run perfectly. She updated her assistant Jamie on EVERYTHING prior to the wedding, and made sure even the tiniest details would not be forgotten or lost. Her entire staff that day, including her husband Sean and assistant jamie dedicated themselves to make sure our wedding went without a hitch. Even though Sanya was stuck at home with her newborn, she still was constantly on the phone and making sure everything ran smoothly and we would enjoy a stress-free day. She even surprised me with an engraved cake cutting set, something I had mentioned to her we did not have.
in conclusion, I would recommend Sanya and her team at VIP to ANY brides out there looking for an amazing unique venue and personalized service. If you are not totally in love with the Palazzo mansion (the venue promoted on this page), fear not, because VIP has several southern California venues in their arsenal, many of which are MORE grand and beautiful than this one. Pick up the phone and give Sanya a call, you will not be disappointed :)
I’d very much like to discourage anyone in the Southern California area from using Sanya Mitrovic, of Venues in Paradise for their upcoming wedding nuptuals. My wife and I have had the unfortunate displeasure of working with VIP during our year long planning of our wedding. To say she had been a nightmare to work with is a drastic understatement.. I never have been treated so unprofessionally and rudely by a company. They lack the class, drive, and professional atmosphere to coordinate weddings the way couples want them to be. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but there’s not much else I can do other than express our thoughts to everyone who may consider Venues in Paradise for their wedding. For all of the money we paid, you would think we would get top notch service. This was not the case at all. Our wedding planning experience is one we wish to forget and we hope others out there will not make the same mistake.
I'm the mother of the bride, but was very involved in her wedding planning since she lives out of state. The Las Palmas is very beautiful, elegant & unique! There were so many great places for picture taking and for our guests to explore and admire its beauty. We got so many compliments on our venue choice and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out on the wedding day!
We dealt with Sanya over there and I want to adopt her as my second daughter! She was so sweet, thoughtful, organized, paid attention to every detail and very genuine. The wedding was back in August and she still keeps in touch with us!
We did a lot of research (not just in California) and this mansion was the best value for the money. That being said, it is not cheap and not for those on tighter budgets. They were very flexible, accommodating and patient (even with a demanding mother such as myself) and I would highly recommend the mansion and its staff to anyone!
