Hamlet Golf and Country Club

Our wedding was absolutely amazing thanks to the hamlet. Leanne and her team has been incredible from start to finish. They were prompt in responding throughout the whole process. I called them my yes team every request or question was answered with a simple yes and so easy to deal with. Every guest came up and said how amazing food and service was throughout the day. They set up the venue amazingly with all my personal touches. Thanks to the hamlet we had the best day ever!

I can't say enough about the Hamlet - and especially Nicole, who we worked with throughout the entire process. She was always available to us. She answered emails promptly, and was able to work with us through any questions or concerns we had. By the end of the process, I felt like she was a friend. It was a comfort knowing she was there for our wedding day, ensuring that everything was running the way it should be. We've received so many wonderful compliments from all of our guests - from the food to the venue - some told us it was "the best wedding they'd ever been to." The bridal attendant was wonderful and took care of us all day. The maitre'd, Athena, was SO on top of everything! She ensured that all of our day of items were carefully packed and ready for us to pick up the following morning (including food that we may have missed!). Again - it was a wonderful experience working with the entire team here. There was literally not one hiccup - the day and night went completely flawlessly, down to the last detail. My husband and I had forgotten to bring kosher white wine for our ceremony - no problem, the Hamlet was on top of it and made sure we had a bottle! There was food service available for our bridal party throughout the day, and people were constantly checking in to ensure we were doing alright. The price was MORE than reasonable. I look forward to working with them on future occasions.

When we were looking for a venue for our wedding, we accidentally found The Hamlet Golf and Country Club and what a happy accident it was! From the moment we signed our contract, until the day after the wedding when they called to make sure we had everything we needed, the service and support we received was outstanding. The bridesmaids and I chose to get ready at the Hamlet. We arrived at 10 am to a beautiful spread of juices, coffee, tea, and all of the things we needed to eat the bagels we'd brought with us. Anything we could have possibly needed throughout the day was provided to us almost immediately- we all felt like royalty! My sister's dress kept slipping off her shoulder, and Nicole (our event coordinator) SEWED her dress so it would stay in place! Unreal.. As day turned to night, the staff always made sure the Bridal Suite was well stocked, my husband and I always had our signature drinks in hand (we did a his and a hers) and even the guests remarked at how well they were treated too. At one point, someone had spilled a drink on the table and the staff immediately replaced the table cloth, the drink, and any of the food affected by the spill. All in all, you could not get a better experience especially for the price- very competitive. On top of it all, the facilities are beautiful and everything looked spectacular that night. The Hamlet Golf & Country Club was our first booking in the whole wedding process and we would not have had it any other way. We initially booked with Hilary who was so sweet, personable, and accommodating as my husband and I live out of state. Through the whole process she was there to answer any questions we had and help any anxieties. When she turned her role over to Nicole we were upset but after speaking with Nicole, we realized there was one consistency over at this venue...EVERY person there treats your wedding like it's the only one they have for the year. There is little that they won't do and it was an absolutely amazing and underrated venue. Hilary, Greg, Nicole, Athena and Nichole (our bridal attendant) were AMAZING. I would book with the Hamlet again in a SECOND and will recommend others do the same.

Although a beautiful place with delicious food, for all the money we spent we were let down by several things on our wedding night. We had a burger & fries station and they completely left off the fries. Their AC broke and instead replaced it with an unsightly fan covered by a cloth divider. The sprinklers went off during our cocktail hour and guests got wet. There were not enough seats for guests at the cocktail hour. The bartenders were rude and inexperienced and guests had to wait for drinks. When I spoke to the Hamlet about all these problems, they simply made excuses. I was definitely expecting a lot more and was gravely disappointed. I was promised many things and they did not come through.

They took care of everything from start to finish and the food was out of this world. Our guests raved about how delicious everything was and I know that does NOT happen at weddings. Beautiful decor. I loved the factt that I was the only bride there and it was solely my special day.

Everything was far beyond my expectations at The Hamlet. The people were wonderful and attentive through the entire planning process and day/event. They were extremely accomodating to all of the special touches we wanted to incude for our special day. The place itself is gorgeous. The landscape both inside and out made for beautiful pictures. The food was absolutely outstanding - the best part to be honest. We had so many choices and everything was delicious. Dinners came out hot even though they were serving 125 ppl at once. We couldn't be happier with the overall experience. My husband and I are coming up on our first anniversary and we're still receiving complements about our wedding and specifically the Hamlet. We've recommended it to all of our friends and we wouldn't hesitate to recommended it to all of TheWeddingChannel.
