Let me start by saying that you do not need to waste your time with Hangers by Rita. I placed an order June of 2018 for my wedding May 2019. My order included a Bridal Package (hanger, monogrammed coffee cup & bag), hangers for my bridal party ...and other family members with personalized boxes , and monogrammed bags for my bridesmaids. I paid my order the day I received the invoice. After a month or so I reached out to Rita to check the status of my order. I did not hear from her for months. I went through 3 different forms of communication each with the same promise of "You will receive your order in a few weeks".
I then had to text and call weekly to try to get an update, she always had a new excuse every time to explain why I had not gotten my order. Fast forward to weeks before my wedding, I do not have my order and no idea when I am going to get it. I told her I needed to have it for May 11th for my bridal shower because I was going to give the bags as a gift to my bridal party, she told me that I would have them in time. But they never came, when questioned she yet again had another excuse and was not answering my calls or calling me back when she said that she would. Now the 3 days before my wedding I have been told that I will receive my order before Friday because I was traveling Friday for my wedding and needed them the day before. Thursday I received a box, open the box and half of my order is missing. Calling her in a panic, she responds hours later to tell me that there is a second box that should be there Friday morning, she did not share this information with me ahead of time. On Friday, I received the second box and I'm still missing parts of my orders. I now have all my hangers, but some are damaged, missing the titles of the girls, and 3 of the girls name are misspelled! I call her and tell her that I am furious and cannot believe that she has done this to a Bride the day before her wedding. I was missing my bridal package and the bags. At this point I needed to focus on my wedding. So my Mother took over calling her and working on her giving me a refund which she promised me in March when I called her out on how long it had taken. Then the process of not hearing from her started again, finally weeks later she told us that she would refund the money June 20th. We just now received the refund after yet again running into more issues of her communicating and being honest. She has not apologized for the quality of her work or the issues that she created for me during this time of my wedding. Please save yourself the trouble and find a better person that will actually do a great job and provide you with great service and quality of work.
I spoke with 4 other Brides during this time that were having the same issues and could not get a hold of her. There weddings have already passed before getting there products and had to order from someone else. I was the only one that got my product and refund.
I support small business and I hate that it came to this, but please save your time, money, and efforts and do not do business with Hangers by Rita.
