Outside of planning, you can find Lauren riding her 32-year-old Palomino horse named Buckwheat, enjoying time with her Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Nebbiolo, and traveling to destinations near and far to hike, ski, paddle board, and drink/eat delicious cuisines. From our first phone call with Lauren, we knew we needed her to be a part of our day! Lauren's expertise of the industry and attention to detail are unmatched. We hired Lauren for month of coordination services, but she truly went above and beyond that. Leading up until our day, Lauren attended venue walk thru's, consistently checked in on the planning process and always was willing to answer any questions, and provide her recommendations. Once the month of came around, we were so confident in letting Lauren take it from here! Lauren was crucial in getting all of our vendors on the same page, and ensured the day ran so smoothly with her detailed timeline. When it came to set up for our reception, Lauren and her assistant Sue executed our vision perfectly. Every place card, sign, and candle were carefully and thoughtfully placed. At the end of the night, Lauren was to credit for all our items being packed up, and safe in our room, including all of our cards, keep sake items, and decor. From the rehearsal night to tear down of our reception, Lauren was there for whatever we needed, and did so with such professionalism and a smile. Without Lauren, our family, bridal party and my husband and I would not have been able to enjoy our day as much as we did. Thank you, Lauren!

We would absolutely recommend Lauren to all newly engaged couples! She was so kind and professional and clearly very knowledgable about the industry. We utilized her "month of" package and her expertise and organization made the last month and especially the day of our wedding truly stress free. Knowing everything was in such good hands allowed us to actually enjoy the day and make lasting memories rather than worry about the little details, which were consistently taken care of by Lauren. She flawlessly helped coordinate with all of our vendors, set up decorations at our venue, and keep everything on our timeline. We researched and booked vendors ourselves and she knew many of our vendors , such as our DJ, already, which shows that she has a strong presence in the San Diego wedding scene. Plus, as a bonus, she made sure I had a glass of my favorite drink in hand the entire night (and even brought me St. Germain when the bar didn't have it!), which was such a special touch and very much appreciated! Certainly do not hesitate, book Lauren as your wedding planner!

Lauren & her assistant Ashley were amazing! We found Happileigh Hosted Events from The Knot and I had scheduled a phone call with her. From the first phone call, I knew that she was who I wanted to have as our coordinator. Her vibe & energy was very bubbly and welcoming!
I had chose the month-of to the day-of coordination package.
We communicated mostly through email, phone calls, & text messages. We also do not live in San Diego, we reside in Sacramento so being able to meet in person was difficult for us. Thankfully, Lauren was very quick when it came to responding & got back to us as soon as she could. She was very transparent as well, which I appreciated a lot. Lauren was so helpful & let us know that she was there if we needed help with anything at all. She did check ins & made sure we kept up with meeting deadlines, and was very understanding when we couldn’t.
As you can imagine, the month leading up to the wedding way was the most stressful thing EVER! Especially, the week of the wedding. We had no clue how we wanted the tables & decorations to be set up or how the whole inside of the venue (the BRICK) was going to look. We pretty much did a mock set up of the center decor for the tables & for the welcome table. Other than that, we had no idea of anything.
When it came time for the reception, Lauren let Mike & I go in by ourselves to see how it was set up. We were speechless. It turned out absolutely PERFECT! Way better than we imagined.
The rest of the night went so smoothly, we had so much fun. I am so thankful & grateful for all the time, effort & hard work that Lauren & Ashley put into making this day as perfect as possible. Ya’ll are amazing and we appreciate you both so much!

Lauren and her crew did an incredible job planning our wedding. A month before our wedding, Lauren jumped right in and got started. Her communication and organization skills were unmatched! She made me feel so confident going into the wedding day. She also was so responsive with any question or concern that I had. She truly cares about making your wedding day the best day of your life and will do everything she can to make the day run smoothly. If I were to do it all over again, I would hire HHE in a heartbeat!

From the start of planning, to our wedding day - Lauren was absolutely amazing and the sole reason why our ‘destination’ wedding was completely stress free. She was always available to help with random questions and concerns that popped up during the planning process, despite being in a different time zone. From timelines to venue seating charts, and ordering decor - Lauren took care of everything. Her attention to detail and eye for design was incredible. We had A LOT of moving parts on our wedding day and Lauren took care of everything seamlessly!! Not to mention, our guests RAVED about the service and how smooth the wedding was, which is 100% due to Lauren and HHE. I am certain our wedding day would not have been as perfect and magical as it was without Lauren from Happileigh Hosted Events.
For the majority of the wedding planning, I was in Michigan and Lauren was in California. This did not matter one bit; Lauren would answer texts with questions or concerns almost immediately, and would schedule phone calls as needed. As the wedding got closer, she completely took over communication with vendors and planned all logistics.
As for the day of the wedding, I can't even express in words how smoothly the entire day went because of Lauren. I was able to get ready with my bridesmaids and family without even thinking about the set-up happening at the reception location because I knew Lauren would make it look absolutely beautiful. As expected, it was everything I had pictured in my head, knew I wanted, and what I had communicated to her.
Lauren was professional, passionate about my wedding, and overall a wonderful and lovely woman to work with.
I would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding to work with Happileigh Hosted Events!

Both my photo team and I had the pleasure of working with Lauren for the beautiful wedding of Athena and Alex. Her responsiveness and attention leading up to the day was such a breath of fresh air as a wedding vendor. Often, to get photo timelines etc. from a planner requires multiple emails. Not with Lauren, the experience she gives starts well before the day of the actual event and that is the mark of a great planner.
The energy she brings to the wedding day is contagious. She can wear so many hats to get everything done all while checking in on her vendors and clients and you’ll never catch her without a smile on her face. As a wedding photographer having a planner that gives my couple an exceptional experience is key to the success of my photos. I need my couples to feel relaxed, happy and feel that they can just soak in their day with the confidence that their vendor team will handle all the rest. Our couple didn't feel an ounce of stress from the wedding day because Lauren was behind the scenes executing everything flawlessly.
The event we worked together had three different locations throughout the day, something I've seen go awry if not planned out well, but the day went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend Lauren to any of my couples and she is in fact on our preferred vendor list which we take very seriously as direct reflection of us. Couldn't be more confident having her name on there.

Recently, we worked with Lauren and Happileigh Hosted Events for our wedding, and we cannot recommend her highly enough! From our initial consultation to the big day itself, she went above and beyond to ensure that everything was absolutely perfect - and even helped me appreciate the miserable cold weather!
Lauren is super organized, attentive, and detail-oriented. She listened carefully to our vision for the wedding and worked tirelessly to bring it to life. Her expertise and creativity truly shone through in every aspect of the planning process - especially coordinating with the venue, which wasn't the easiest.
We hired Lauren for "month of" services, but we got more than that. She helped with questions I had along the way further out than 30 days and made me feel confident in my decisions as ours wasn't a traditional wedding.
On the day of the wedding, Lauren and her assistant were absolute rockstars. She ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends - which was the most important thing for us, getting married later in life.

Choosing Happileigh Hosted Events as our Month/Day-of Coordinator was one of first and best decisions we made when starting our wedding journey! We were blown away with Lauren's attention to detail, amazing communication, advice and fun, yet professional personality leading up to the wedding. She communicated with my vendors efficiently and was extremely organized in all documents/etc.
The real magic happened in the days leading up to the wedding and day-of. Lauren and her team made my vision come to life! Adding special details where needed, running our rehearsal with ease, and completely taking all of the stress out of our wedding day by leading without any issue and completely nailing it.

We hired Lauren to be our Month of Coordinator for our wedding in San Diego August 2023. Right away speaking with Lauren, we felt that she was straight forward, proactive, and always put as at ease after talking things through with her. She exceeded all of our expectations and helped us have a stress-free and perfect wedding day. Despite having hired Lauren for only the 'Month of Coordination', she was always available to answer any questions leading up to that month. She even converted my parents from people who didn't think a coordinator was necessary to hire! On the wedding day itself, Lauren was able to keep the schedule and flow going, without making us feel pressured at all. I would refer Lauren to anyone in a heart beat!

I found Lauren on The Knot and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. When I initially reached out, I wasn't sure if I wanted to use her as a day of coordinator or a month of coordinator and I ended up using her for the full month and it was worth every penny. From the beginning, Lauren was so insanely helpful in every aspect of the planning process. I was planning my wedding from Chicago, getting married in La Jolla, CA so understandably, I didn't know a ton about the area in CA. Lauren was so insanely helpful. She sent me links to venues, vendors, ideas from past weddings, etc. Going into the process I didn't have an exact vision of what I wanted the day to look like and she helped pull out ideas and creativity from me that I didn't know I had. She truly helped make our wedding one of the happiest, most perfect days of my life. She was also such a joy to communicate with. Lauren was my month-off coordinator for my wedding on November 19, 2022. She was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with while planning my wedding!!! Whenever I would get stumped on a vendor or needed some advice, she was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. The month of the event, she happily took the reins so that I could enjoy with my friends and family. My venue had a very short, strict amount of time for set-up and clean-up, and she handled that obstacle like a absolute champ! She made the whole thing run seamlessly and I couldn't imagine my event without her! 11/10 would recommend Happileigh Hosted Events!!!

We were SO happy with Lauren as our day/month-of planner. Right from the get go she was positive, uplifting, and filled with excitement and joy to help us make our special day magical. Our wedding took place at 2 locations (both of them backyards) and was very DIY, which added a ton of complexity, but Lauren and her fabulous assistant Ashley stayed on top of absolutely everything. Truly, the wedding wouldn't have happened with out them!! Lauren was a positive, helpful support in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, and was a total superstar the entire day and night of the wedding! She was all hands on deck and made everything run smoothly and added a beautiful, thoughtful touch with every piece she took on. Thanks to Lauren our wedding was more beautiful than we could have dreamed, and we got to really enjoy one of the happiest days of our lives 🥰❤️

Lauren was with me every step of the way from start to finish! She helped guide me when selecting vendors (she found our beautiful venue!!) and inform my decisions to make the day exactly what I envisioned. She communicated with and coordinated all of my vendors, so I didn’t have to get bogged down with all the details. She kept track of all the information, helped me stay within my wedding budget and coordinated the timeline for the big day. She was there on the day of (plus the day before for rehearsal) to make sure everything went perfectly. It was perfection! I did not worry one bit the whole day because Lauren was there making sure everything went smoothly. Hire her!!!! It’s sooo worth it.

Lauren was our “month of” wedding coordinator and the absolute best investment we made for our wedding. I was originally on the fence about having a coordinator and if you are too, this is your sign to contact Lauren immediately. Fairly priced, accommodating and many years of industry experience in event planning/executing. I cannot recommend her enough. She’s organized, responsive, SO sweet and clearly has an eye for details. She will make sure everything is exactly what you envision on your special day!
