I can't imagine how anyone plans a wedding without a wedding planner, and I couldn't imagine our wedding day being such a success without Cindy! CINDY IS THE BEST! She goes beyond your expectations to ensure that you are taken care of. She kept us on track during our planning, our rehearsal, and on our wedding day! She really got to know us as a couple and made sure our planning went smoothly. Cindy thinks of every little thing and makes sure everything gets done. As we got closer to our wedding day, our friends and family commented/complimented my (now) husband and I on how calm we were, and I can say that it was because we knew we were on track because of Cindy! If you're considering hiring her, DO IT NOW! You won't regret it!
I have worked with many coordinators, planners and event designers and few stood out the way Cindy has. She was communicative, friendly and warm, and went way above and beyond to help anywhere she identified a need. Lots of options when it comes to event planning but you really don't need to look anywhere else. I would 100% recommend Happily Ever After and Cindy to anyone looking to experience top-tier, creative and premiere service.
Cindy is THE BEST. I couldn’t have done my wedding without her. She is hyper organized and diligent and she fulfilled every single one of our requests! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. She helped us navigate multiple changes to our venue plan due to inclement weather and it was still flawless. She’s also a delight to work with!

Cindy was a miracle worker! Even from before we hired her, she was extremely helpful at our engagement shoot (her husband photographed our wedding!). At our first consultation meeting, she made sure I knew how to navigate through the planning portal.
Cindy’s expertise was very evident once I introduced her to my other vendors. She made sure to have each of their contact in case she had questions about their services.
While much of the responsibility communicating to our vendors was my role, Cindy made sure I asked all the right questions.
With all that being said, Cindy became my right hand woman the day of the wedding. She made sure everything went smoothly, even with some last minute changes. Without Cindy and Ji (head co-coordinator), I don’t think the wedding planning process would have been as smooth and carefree as I experienced it. I was able to fully enjoy getting married and present through each moment of the day!
Cindy went above and beyond for my wife and I on our special day and throughout the whole process! (Which took 3+ years due to COVID) She was able to execute everything we wanted for our destination wedding in a prompt and professional manner, flawlessly. I highly recommend Cindy as a wedding planner!
Cindy was an amazing wedding planner from the beginning to the end. She patiently and directly worked with us and our vendors from planning it in 2020 and having to postpone it until 2022 due to COVID logistical delays. She asked all the right questions to the vendors and had everything perfectly prepared for our special day. The end result was everything I had hoped for and it was a stunning wedding, thanks to Cindy, the best wedding coordinator! I would highly recommend her services to anyone!
Cindi and Ji were absolutely amazing! They are very professional and well organized. They helped us throughout our wedding process-making it easy and smooth. They were very supportive in relieving our stress. We even encountered unexpected challenges and they were always there to go the extra mile for us. At the same time, we had fun and they are so down to earth. It’s like having an extra set of maid of honors and they were very much part of our wedding team. They listened to us and helped make our wedding vision a reality. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful working with Cindy and Ji are. They made us feel like family and genuinely had our best interest at heart. We highly recommend!
I had the pleasure of working with Cindy because I knew I wanted the best. She is extremely detail-oriented and I've seen the type of work she does. I wouldn't have thought of anyone else to help me with the biggest day of my life.
From our initial meeting, I knew her services were exactly what I needed. Included in her mighty package was her partner, Ji. She does the beautiful signage, invitations, and helps with all logistics. I knew I was in good hands.
I don't know what I would have done without Cindy's support. I was overwhelmed with planning, costs, details, and things I didn't even know I had to do. She took care of everything. I picked out the vendors, the materials, flowers, settings, etc. and Cindy handled all the measurements, contracts, and working with the vendors. She was amazing! I didn't have to worry about all the fine print that I normally would have looked over and signed.
I can't say enough how grateful my husband, my wedding party and I are to have worked with her. She has an eye and her vision was beautiful. She helped capture my dream wedding was there from day 1, not just the day of the wedding, but she rode that entire planning wave with me. I've heard many horror stories with wedding planners that will only do "day of" planning and will charge double what I did and not even get 1/4 of what Cindy and Ji have done for me.
Cindy and Ji will help organize everything. They have spreadsheets, working docs, timelines, and a binder that has everything you need to work with them simultaneously to not miss any details from the moment you begin the planning process. I was definitely in good hands and had nothing to worry about. I'm so grateful for her and the amazing work put into my beautiful wedding.
Cindy is the BEST day of wedding coordinator/planner. My now husband and I were so blessed to work with her for our wedding ceremony this year. I initially met Cindy when I was a bridesmaid at my girlfriend’s wedding a few years ago, and I was thoroughly impressed with how attentive, organized, and detail oriented she was. I immediately asked for her contact info as I knew I wanted to hire her when it was my turn to get married.
I contacted her as soon as I picked my wedding date. We met earlier this year, pre-COVID, and had a great in-person meeting to discuss logistics.
Then COVID happened. Due to COVID, we had to move our reception party to next year, but we still wanted to have an intimate church ceremony. Cindy continually checked in with us and ensured we were on the right track with everything we needed to have for our ceremony. Having to plan a wedding during COVID was the most stressful thing I endured this year, but Cindy helped ease a lot of my fears and kept me in check.
My husband and I are looking forward to working with her again next year for our wedding reception (hoping it will be safe by then to have a larger reception).
I highly recommend Cindy for all of your wedding planning needs! She’s a wonderful person and amazing at what she does!
**UPDATED Review**: Cindy is a wedding planner extraordinaire! She helped me and my husband with TWO of our events: our church ceremony in 2020 and our vow renewal/reception in 2021 (the latter postponed due to Covid). Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic was very stressful, but she kept us grounded throughout this unprecedented process.
I'm very thankful that she extended her services with us when we chose to have our church ceremony in 2020 then again with a vow renewal ceremony followed by our reception in 2021.
Cindy has an amazing level of professionalism and personalism. She always respects your wishes, but because she's a wedding pro she always provides very helpful advice and insight. She always scheduled periodic check-in's with us and listened to all of my venting about the typical stressors that come with wedding planning.
Cindy also introduced us to her co-planner, Ji, who is just as amazing (FYI: We also hired Ji to create our wedding signage and they all turned out beautifully! I highly recommend Ji for her signage services as well!).
My husband and I had a fun but productive time during our month of meeting with Cindy and Ji. Cindy was very sweet to invite us into her home and we went through every single detail with them to ensure our event would go exactly how we wanted it to.
On the day of my vow renewal/reception, I was very relaxed and did not have any worry because I knew I was able to trust Cindy and Ji with everything. I truly enjoyed myself because of their amazing teamwork.
I have recommended Cindy for her planning services to anyone planning a wedding (even to those who didn't think they needed a planner because she truly is worth every penny!). Cindy is the absolute best and if I could work with her again in any party planning capacity I totally would!
When my husband and I first reached out to Cindy, we were totally unprepared. Cindy met with us six months before our big day and calmed us down, walked us through everything that needed to get done, and put our minds and hearts at ease, notwithstanding us getting a relatively late start on the planning. From the outset, we knew we were in good hands — Cindy was meticulously organized and knew the answer to every one of our questions. In the months leading up to the wedding Cindy was there for us at every step of the way — she was our first call every time we had a new idea to throw into the mix. We also had the pleasure of working with Ji, who helped us through many iterations of designing absolutely beautiful (bilingual!) invitations and signage. As our wedding date neared, we realized how lucky we were to have Cindy and Ji shepherding us through the process.
There is always *something* that will go sideways on your big day. Our caterer was running late and nobody could reach them as the restaurant was not yet open. The caterer ended up arriving over an hour late, just 30 minutes before the ceremony was to begin. The guests had all arrived and were milling about in the reception hall, but the tables had not yet been set. And because the tables had not yet been set, the linens, menus, flowers, etc. all were waiting to be set up. Cindy and Ji rolled up their sleeves, dropped everything else and hustled to get everything in order and it went off without a hitch. Meanwhile, my husband and I had no idea. We were in our respective rooms, and while we could hear commotion outside, we were none the wiser. Cindy and Ji were in full crisis mode but maintained full composure and revealed nothing to us. I think that story encapsulates how Cindy and Ji approach their work — they are consummate professionals who will do everything within their power to make sure your wedding goes as smoothly as possible, and you are as happy as possible, on one of the happiest days of your life.
Cindy and Ji were truly instrumental in making our wedding a success. We highly, highly recommend them!
Cindy is THE best! If you are looking for a planner who will actually help you and be there for you throughout the whole process until your big day (and even after that), she is definitely the right person. I’ve worked with many planners for family and friends weddings and parties of my own. Cindy stands out among all of them! She is VERY organized, detail oriented and has a very calming personality – all these qualities are very important when planning becomes a little stressful. She brings such a fun aspect to the planning process and let's you actually enjoy it!
I had the pleasure of attending weddings where Cindy was the planner and every single one of them went smoothly and I had so much fun at them! So much so that I wanted to have an event myself just so I could work with her! And I was fortunate to work with Cindy earlier this year to plan an out of town milestone big birthday party that was very important to me. From the beginning of the planning process, she helped me narrow down what I truly wanted and envisioned for my event. When I was feeling overwhelmed, she helped me make important decisions throughout the whole process and was there for me. On the day of my event, (it was an all day event) she was there bright an early from the start, going over our timeline and everything that we had planned for the day. She really shined during the last activity we planned for the day which was the big reception dinner making sure that everything went smoothly and handled any thing that came up (and you just never know what may come up the day of, no matter how much you plan) without me even noticing it! I can’t praise Cindy enough for her patience, professionalism, warm and kind personality. I will be forever grateful and thankful to her for helping me bring the vision I had for this big event to life.
Cindy did an amazing job coordinating our big day at Carneros Resort this May. She went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was accounted for and accommodated several long-distance check-in calls with my husband and I (we live in Switzerland). We had a challenging wedding day with rain, location changes and set-up adjustments, but Cindy flawlessly pulled everything together. Despite the changes to our original plan, the wedding turned out to be so special, intimate, unique, stylish and most of all, fun! We can't thank her enough!

It was great working with Cindy and Ji for our wedding day. They were super organized, and helped map out the day of schedule literally down to the minute. Everything ran smoothly and on time the day of the wedding, so we could relax and enjoy the day.
Cindy and Ji had the expertise to know exactly what details needed to be figured out before the wedding day, many of which my husband and I wouldn't have thought of or wouldn't have known to do without them. Cindy was also really patient with us as we tried to figure out what we wanted, and even when we changed our minds at the last minute about certain details.
Also, having Ji on the team was great! She did all of the calligraphy and graphic design for our signs and menu cards, so we didn't have to scramble to figure those out last minute, and they all looked amazing!
The only snafoo on the day of the wedding was that the venue forgot to provide us with the basket of flower petals for our flower girl. Ji literally ran around after the ceremony had already begun, and managed to procure a basket and a bouquet of flowers for our flower girl to use before she started down the aisle (she ripped the petals off the flowers as she walked, it was adorable). I really don't know how we would have managed everything without them.
I am not sure I could ever put into words how wonderful Cindy and Ji are.
When my husband and I first thought about planning our wedding, I had mixed feelings about hiring a coordinator to help us execute our special day. Over the years I have heard mixed reviews about hiring someone. It can make things harder. All I can say to that is THAT'S CRAP! I can say with the utmost certainty I will never plan another wedding in my lifetime so I don't think I will need Cindy's services again, but I do know I will recommend her to those I know getting married.
The amount of work Cindy and Ji put into making our day go off without a hitch is unbelievable. From our month of meeting to the day of, they never missed a beat. They took charge and I have to say there was not a moment on our wedding day that I worried about anything. When I walked down the aisle and into the reception after our ceremony I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked. Cindy, with Ji's assistance, brought our wedding vision to life and we were beyond grateful and overjoyed.

We had the pleasure of working with Cindy and Ji for our wedding in September. They were amazing to work with in the month leading up to the big day! We had an outdoor wedding at an unconventional venue with a ton of vendors (no preferred / in-house team), aka a lot of items, contracts and nuances to keep track of. Cindy was so helpful in answering our never ending noob questions, and in providing guidance for any decisions we had to make. They rolled with all our last minute changes like champs - from guest list reductions (due to a fam emergency), to resulting seating chart changes, to inclement (cold) weather forecasts.
Everything went wonderfully smoothly the day of - Cindy and Ji made sure everything was taken care of on the big day so that we didn’t have to stress (or even think!) about anything planning-related. Ji also provided beautiful designs for our escort cards (integrated with our wedding favors) and seating chart - which our guests loved!

Without Cindy and Ji, our wedding would have been an absolute disaster. My husband and I had no clue how to bring all of our wedding visions together. That's where Cindy came in and referred an amazing team of vendors our way and she also came up with our wedding hashtag to fit my husband and my's shoe addiction. Cindy is very professional, organized, knowledgable and so helpful along our journey. Any idea we had, Cindy would do her best to bring it to life and give us her input as to what she thought would work best. We trusted her 100% with whatever she suggested each time. She was no doubt an honorary bridesmaid. She took are of logistics and made sure to execute every detail. Cindy and Ji are very communicative and are so great at coordinating, these traits are very important to have in your coordinators, without their direct communication, our wedding probably would have been so unorganized. Ji was the lead planner for our wedding (Cindy was an actual guest for our wedding), was so calm and collective the entire wedding and she made sure to check in with us if there was a delay in our timeline. They work so well together; they are both so funny, easy to work with, and are genuine people. It is so obvious Cindy and Ji love what they do as it shows so much in their work. If you know someone who needs a coordinator, do not hesitate to hire Cindy & Ji, you will not be disappointed! If you want a happy life and happy wife during wedding planning, hire Cindy! She is very professional, organized, and everything we needed in a planner. Cindy & Oliver (her husband/our photographer - hire him too!) welcomed us into their home for our very productive month of meeting with our designer, Ji. I felt we invested in more than just a "month of" with Cindy & Ji. While Ji made sure her designs were exactly how we imagined, Cindy kept us on track with our vendors, went over our contracts and answered all of our questions the moment we hired her. Then comes our big day. My wife and I were able to enjoy ourselves and spend all of our time with our family and friends instead of sharing the little time we had attending to any behind the scene needs. I am so thankful for Cindy and Ji for all the time and work they put in to making our wedding successful.
I knew we needed professional help planning our wedding the moment I said "I do!" Working two jobs, my Fiancé (now Hubby) also working /attending school, and our wedding party having busy lives of their own, finding someone who knew exactly what they were doing was essential to making our wedding day dreams come true. Cindy may be small, but that didn't fool the vendors! They knew she meant business. We did her Ever After Package (planner+photographer+design), which is what we would recommend because everything was so SEAMLESS! Although we chose the most strict church and reception venue she has ever worked with, Cindy successfully handled all obstacles with ease down to the 20th draft of our floor plan and down to the aisle. Vendor contracts, floor plans, timelines, strict venue & church rules (I won't go into the details, but lets just say Cindy went beyond her duties of a wedding planner to make sure we had our dream wedding!), the list is endless. I cannot thank her enough for making our wedding day everything we imagined and more!
Like a lot of brides, I totally thought that I could handle all the wedding planning and coordination on my own, but when I started feeling overwhelmed at the thought of coordinating timelines and vendor meals, I decided to hire a month-of-coordinator. Once I met Cindy, I was so impressed and knew that she would be a perfect fit for our wedding! She is so organized and committed to her clients - when you hire Cindy and Ji, you really get way more than just one month of coordination. They're always just an email away, and they always responded promptly to my questions. Having the detailed spreadsheet/workbook was so helpful and really helped us stay on track during the whole process. Cindy takes care of contacting all vendors and putting the timeline together, and our wedding day was perfect! Even if there were problems, we weren't aware of them, and everything was seamless! Our photographers and my stylist called me the most chill bride ever, and I can honestly say that's because Cindy and Ji made it such a relaxing experience and I knew I didn't need to stress out!
This 5-star review is also for Ji's design services. It was so nice having the design services "in-house" - it made things like creating the seating charts/escort cards completely stress-free. Ji's designs for the signs, invitations, etc. absolutely fit our style, and she even incorporated our kitties in a way that was still elegant and classy!
I honestly can't recommend Cindy and Ji enough and can't imagine what the whole wedding day experience would have been like without them.
I might be biased, but our wedding was the BEST and most fun wedding we have ever been to :) and a huge part of that was due to Happily Ever After. Hiring Cindy and Ji was one of the best wedding planning decisions I could make. They were worth budgetting for as they gave us peace of mind throughout the entire wedding planning process and during our big day! Their invaluable guidance, organization, and overall support made planning for our wedding (and the whole day-of) so much easier and more relaxed than any other wedding I’ve experienced and we were able to be present and enjoy our wedding, rather than worry about details like scheduling or managing our vendors. We were able to maximize our wedding timeline as everything (including our ceremony) started on time, so there was no rushing throughout the day. In addition to scheduling and arranging our timeline, they also set up and packed all of our reception decor and details and they knew when we needed water, a break, or to pause for a photo opportunity. Their service definitely went above and beyond and extended to our bridal party, parents, and guests. Everyone kept commenting how smooth, fun, organized, and relaxed the entire day felt. I can’t imagine hosting another party (big or small) without Cindy and Ji and wish I had another wedding/reason to spend more time with them! Not only are they professional and experienced, but they’re fun to be around and really understand how to best support their couples on one of the most important days of their lives.
Cindy is such a great person to work with. When my husband and I met her at our meet and greet, we knew we wanted to hire her right on the spot. She's so knowledgeable, kind, easy to work with, supportive and gave given us direct communication. She did all the vendor coordination and timeline that no bride/groom should have to stress over the day of or the days leading up. The work she does isn't always noticed, but my husband and I had so much relief and was stress free the entire day. We can't thank Cindy enough.
Can I just start out with saying how thankful I am to have found Cindy? And with Cindy, came Ji! They were so great to work with. With my initial meeting with Cindy to better understand her role, I knew at that very moment that she was the one.
She came off as extremely organized, detail oriented, personal and executional. All of those traits led her to becoming my honorary maid of honor and the best coordinator. She was also extremely responsive to questions I had and was always on top of next steps.
She planned a month of meeting for us to go over details of the wedding and talk through outstanding items on the list. This meeting was so nice because she invited us to her home and even fed us! Once it came time to the big day, Cindy and Ji were phenomenal. I felt so stress free and was able to enjoy every moment of it. The one thing I will always remember from my initial meeting with Cindy is how she said that when she runs a wedding, it is ALWAYS on time and her bride and groom will ALWAYS eat. This happened with no hesitation. As soon as Alan and I were done taking photos after our ceremony during the cocktail reception, we were welcomed with a saved plate of hor d'oeuvres. By the time it was the dinner reception, Cindy and Ji made sure we had our his and hers drink and also made sure we were eating. This was extremely important to me as I heard many stories about how the bride and groom typically don't eat at their wedding because their food is taken away or they're preoccupied with their guests. With Cindy and Ji's amazing coordinating skills even through the long day (our wedding ended at 12am) they seriously went above and beyond to ensure the happiness of the bride and groom and our guests.

Cindy did an amazing job at helping my now wife and I coordinate our special day. The wedding went by as smooth as I could have imagined and we had the time of our lives. Thanks to all the planning and preparation by Cindy, we were able to fully enjoy our special day together. Most importantly, we got to enjoy our dinner during the reception =)
I was the bride who thought I could do it all on my own. To be quite honest, a coordinator wasn't something I had considered spending on, but when my work schedule and job got crazy, less than 3 months out, I knew I needed help.
That's when I found Cindy and Ji. I had a friend that used their services and I reached out to inquire about their services. With raving reviews from my friend, I went ahead and a submitted a request for contact. I knew that I needed to hire Cindy in the first 15 minutes of our phone call. Cindy was kind enough to take my call while on vacation and I immediately saw her commitment to her business and clients.
I moved forward with Cindy and Ji soon after our phone call and it was the best decision I felt like I could have made! There are so many details and things that need to be taken care of, that can easily be overlooked when you are planning a wedding. With Cindy and Ji, they help fill in the gaps, offer advice and truly listen to what you want your wedding day to look like. Cindy also takes care of reviewing all of your contracts, has a detailed spreadsheet on everything regarding your wedding date, puts timelines together for you and takes care of contacting all vendors (to name a few things of what they do). My husband and I were so impressed with their month of meeting and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time!
They have attention to detail, they are thorough, organized and extremely knowledgeable in what they do! With all my last minute changes and hiccups, they executed everything perfectly on our wedding day! If anything did go wrong or unplanned, we knew nothing about it and that's what's important on your wedding day is to truly enjoy the day without worrying about anything!
What we love the most about Cindy and Ji is that they don't make you feel like you are just clients, they truly and genuinely care for their couples! We're so grateful for the two of them as they have become friends of ours now. My husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding day and hiring them was the best investment we could have made!

Cindy and Ji were the best! We hired them for the month of wedding planning as I had already booked all the large vendors and was needing month of/day of help as I couldn't be in 3 places at once. Wedding coordination was something I didn't think we needed, but after the fact I don't know how I would have done it without them! They went above and beyond my expectations! We had a month before planning meeting where we went over every little detail, they offered their expert knowledge and opinions on the time frame, vendor coordination, vendor communication, what should happen when, etc. They also tracked everything on a master google sheet so I could see and edit everything, so we were all on the same page. They coordinated and managed the entire flow of the rehearsal, managed the timing of the entire day and kept us on track for an on time start! They managed to get all my candles, decor pieces, table numbers, escort cards and all other additional items in place and set up properly, they managed getting everything together and packaged back up by the end of the night, they even had safety pins when my dress strap ripped! They were so helpful, professional, organized and really made me feel like my wedding was their only priority. I would highly recommend them for anyone that wants to be worry free the day of their wedding, because of all their hard work I really got to fully enjoy the entire wedding day!
Cindy and Ji were amazing. We booked her and also her husband ( Oliver Verstyle Photography ) and together they form the magic package !
We also booked Ji for personalize decoration.
Everything went super well for us, no hiccup, no stress, nothing. it was a perfect day very smooth.

Cindy and Ji are total pros. Somehow our venue went through 4 event coordinators in 1 year, and unfortunately we ended up with the worst one of them all on our wedding day. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, you want to make sure you have Cindy & Ji on your team. They were able to step in, handle all the logistics and made sure our day was perfect.
I also recommend that you hire them for your month-of planning as well. They keep you on track, give you ideas if you're stuck, and go above and beyond to accommodate your requests. Cindy definitely knows what she's doing. I honestly believe that our wedding would not have been a success without her and Ji's beautiful designs. Both Cindy and Ji did an amazing job at really listening to what we were trying to envision for our destination wedding in Hawaii and executed it flawlessly. Cindy was a great wedding coordinator and was definitely on top of everything. Being the groom, you really don’t know what the hell is going on. Between me and my wife, she was the one doing 99% of the planning and coordinating. Thankfully Cindy was there to summarize everything and made things really easy with multiple “To-do-lists” with due dates. I think for most guys, that’s all we want, “Give me a list of things you want done and when you need it by.” She really had everything covered and you can tell she knows what can go wrong in a wedding by asking the right questions to our vendors and hotel wedding coordinator. If you somehow book her to be your coordinator, consider yourself very lucky and in good hands. You won’t be disappointed.
Future brides will hear all the advice from previous brides, including having a day-of-wedding day event coordinator. I knew even before I got married that I'd need one, especially after being a part of a wedding entourage and going to multiple weddings. There are NO words to express how amazing Cindy is. I am a super OCD, detail oriented, an overboard "researcher" per se in terms of everything I purchase or do in life, and I spent DAYS researching online, talking to previous brides, family, friends, friends of friends just to make SURE that I put my money in the right place with the right person. And if you are as specific, needy and intense as me - Cindy is probably your bride-twin match made in heaven.
I clearly remember the day I met with her, she basically told me she'd know my wedding just as well as I do - she knew every single detail, as if it was her own wedding! Some of my vendors too, praised her work, since they were also in communication (more than she puts it out for you to know). Side note: Cindy, if you're reading this, you should probably raise your rates. LOL! Most did not fail to mention "Your coordinator, Cindy... she's VERY on top of it. She's great!" and some of them even said "Where did you find her?", assuming she'd be one they'd recommend in the future. I clearly remembered a good amount of times during my wedding prep saying to myself "Thank God I have Cindy!!!" after hearing good things from others who were working with us on our wedding day!
My groom and I had our plenty of alone time prior to our reception, we ate all our entrees as we were hoping because we hear a lot of brides and grooms don't get the time. We requested all these random things on our timeline (because that's a super important part of your actual wedding day), and she delivered. You tell Cindy what you want, and she will advise accordingly to make it happen!
I don't have enough words to express my gratitude to Cindy and Ji, who helped my wedding day go so smoothly it's seriously almost unbelievable. Not only are you hiring an amazing team, but you will truly gain friend(s), including her husband who did not work with us but still managed to luckily meet (I highly recommend him as well as your photographer! we'll have to hire him for a future shoot next time!). I had ZERO problems, ZERO complaints from any of my family or friends in terms of how the day went, and everything was in perfect order. You've been planning your big day for months, and it's important to hand the reigns to someone you can trust to carry out your vision. That's exactly what Cindy and Ji did for us. I was so relaxed on my wedding day, because I knew these two had everything under control. That alone was PRICELESS!
Ji has a calming presence. She's so nice and so helpful. Whatever I needed that day, she was there to help. She also made all of our signs (welcome sign, dessert table sign, menu, etc.), which were all beautiful and pulled everything together. The small details really made a difference.
Cindy is extremely organized, detail oriented, and most of all, she's a lot of fun to work with! Cindy has a way of getting people to listen without sounding or being mean--she's authoritative but kind. This is exactly what you want in a wedding planner. Everybody told me ceremonies never start on time, but mine did. I have Cindy to thank for that. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. As an example, she noticed that there were heaters on the rental invoice that really were unnecessary. She contacted me right way, and I was able to remove them from the order before the deadline. She helped me save $600. Cindy is genuine, sweet, and truly does care about the couples she works with. I couldn't have asked for a better planner! She is the BEST in the industry. The first time I met Cindy from Happily Ever After SF was of course at a wedding. My girlfriend at the time (now my wife) was one of the bridesmaids at her best friend's wedding. Cindy did an amazing job at that wedding, from the timeline down to ensuring that all the details were just right. Initially, when my husband and I started planning our wedding we didn’t think of acquiring a wedding coordinator. I figured I would be able to handle it. But, as the planning crept forward, we became so overwhelmed by the tedious emails and tasks it took into planning a wedding that we looked into hiring a wedding coordinator. A co-worker of mine had hired Cindy and her husband (wedding photographer) and I received raved reviews on her execution. I had already hired her husband, Oliver as our wedding coordinator and I thought to reach out to what she will be able to provide for us. I had a problem with a vendor and she was very supportive and helpful and took the time to help us try to resolve the issues we were experiencing. Something that she didn’t need to do but she helped us and went above and beyond to make sure that we would have a perfect wedding. That alone was more than what we could have asked for. She truly cares about her couples and wants you to have your "happily ever after".
Now six months after our wedding and after looking at our wedding video and pictures we love how everything turned out. Who knew you needed a timeline and a day of coordinator, but we see that all of Cindy’s hard work was for us to have our perfect wedding. My wife and I were fortunate enough to have Cindy be our wedding planner last September. From day one she was organized, actionable, and prepared to deliver a great experience on our wedding day - and she did. Like other ambitious Brides, I thought I could plan my wedding all on my own. I thought I made the right decision until I met and saw Cindy from Happily Ever After SF on the job at one of my good friends' wedding. That wedding, in my opinion, went without a hitch and not to mention, ON TIME. I remembered telling my then fiance (now husband) that I don't care how much her services were. I needed Cindy to coordinate our wedding.

My now wife and I weren't actually on the market for a wedding planner until we met Cindy by chance through our fantastic photographer Oliver (Verstyle photographer - another recommend!). Our venue already included an event planner and a day of coordinator, so we thought we were all set. We couldn't have been more wrong. Cindy and her team bring organization and action on bride/groom side while we realized our event planners and day of coordinators were more making sure that the venue was up to snuff. Cindy was an absolute life-saver when it came to the actual wedding by making sure all of our vendors were punctual, timely, and had everything they needed. Cindy sat with us on multiple occasions to understand our vision of the wedding and she helped us execute it to exactly that. Every little question or little hiccup that occurred - we didn't know about at all during the whole day because Cindy was there to get it wrapped up. Seriously if you're at all still contemplating if you need her - you do.
Cindy was absolutely amazing and a total life-saver the day of our wedding! My husband and I absolutely love working with her (and her husband Oliver, who was our wedding photographer). They are both the absolute BEST at what they do and a total power couple.
Going into planning our wedding, I wasn't sure I would need a day-of coordinator since my venue provided coordinators for us as well. Cindy helped me understand that when venues provide coordinators, they are most concerned with making sure everything is going fine from the venue's perspective, however, having your own personal day-of coordinator goes above and beyond that. And she was absolutely right! Cindy was super involved with every detail of our wedding decor and bride/groom schedule about a month before our wedding, which made me feel at ease on our big day. It was perfect because my husband and I were still able to plan all the details our own way, but Cindy was able to seamlessly pick up on our vision and execute everything flawlessly.
Within a few short minutes of meeting Cindy and getting to know her, I knew she had that same particularly "anal" (if you will) attention to detail, which I found refreshing since I am the exact same way (but no one wants to have to be like that the day of their own wedding - which makes it so nice to have Cindy around to make sure everything is running smoothly while you kick back and get taken from one thing to the next.)
She was always on time for every meeting and does everything she can to relief some of the burden off of you. She has a great spreadsheet to keep you organized and will follow up with you on things she needs from you. She checked in with my hair and make-up ladies to make sure everyone would be on time and communicated the schedule to them for all of our appointments including bridal party and family. During the day of the wedding, she was so on top of everything (as usual!) She even had to deal with some difficult vendors and did so gracefully, which we really appreciated.
Cindy is basically an amazing wedding coordinator wrapped up in a beautiful tiny little package, and I would recommend her to any bride any day! She does it all and is definitely a friend I know I've made for a lifetime. Thank you for everything Cindy!
Our wedding was a crazy, but perfect, 300 guest event at St. Ignatius Church and Terra Gallery in San Francisco, CA on August 15, 2015.
Stumbling upon Cindy of Happily Ever After and her husband, Oliver (Verstyle Photography) was definitely meant to be. My friend had referred me to a different photographer, but I couldn't remember her name, so I just Googled something that sounded similar. Lo and behold, this guy named Oliver Dumlao of Verstyle Photography popped up.
When I first started looking for vendors, I would always check out their "About Me" page or scout for things that would give me an idea about their personalities. I mean, what good is an amazing vendor if you don't get along with them?
I saw that Oliver was a Bboy, so I knew he probably had a good taste in music, etc. Looking through his page, I saw a link for "Happily Ever After..." and wondered what that was about.
Boom. Happily Ever After SF. Of course, I jumped right into Cindy's About Me and fell in love. When I saw "OCD", I knew I had to book her. Honorary Maid of Honor for sure. On top of that, she went to UC Berkeley, so I knew she had to be good.
We met with her and Oliver and they really made the effort to get to know us and see what we wanted for our ideal wedding. I had all of these ideas - Pinterest (*blessing and a curse), and Cindy was able to fine tune them and made them work. She kept us on track with EVERYTHING - time frames, schedules, and gave us her ideas here and there - ALL without being pushy and without bumping heads with me. I don't know if we would've made it without these two amazing people. Everyone kept saying that our wedding was the first on-time wedding they had ever been to.
If you want a team that can get the job done, people who are organized, friendly, responsible, smart, and easy to work with, hire them both! Cindy will keep you on track, and more importantly, sane. Oliver will take amazing pictures.

It's been a year and 3 months since our incredible wedding day. Every now and then, my husband and I go through our wedding photos and videos to relive our special day.
This review is long overdue and well deserved. Since my husband and I are perfectionists and pay A LOT of attention to detail, I knew that I would not be able to be everywhere all at one time on our wedding day. We knew that we needed someone to solidify our decisions when it came to details and execute on the day of our wedding.
Through face to face meetings, we were able to explain to Cindy how we envisioned our day. There were definitely plenty of LOGISTICS since we wanted to get the best deals as well as have our guests indulge in all of our favorite things. Cookies, cake, appetizers, chivari chairs, table clothes, etc all from different vendors. Prior to booking each vendor, Cindy was able to read the contract before we signed so that we could clarify any questions and most importantly not accrue any additional expenses. Even with such demanding logistics, our day was executed with the utmost attention to detail.
Our detailed timeline was tough to figure out because there were some things I just wouldn't budge on. I really wanted our first look to remain traditional at the church, but prior to departure from the hotel, I wanted to ensure that both groom and bride had ample time to take immediate family pictures. Cindy made it work and we have photos to prove it!
Throughout the planning process she was always available by email. She even answered my panic email while she was on vacation to ease our anxiety. Her emails were prompt and always answered all of our questions. The day before our wedding there were last minute changes and she was always available by phone and email to make things work!
The week of the wedding, she made sure everything was taken care of before our big day. We made sure final payments were made and all other payment envelopes were in her care. She didn't have to clarify decoration or vendor contract details the day of. She took care of it ALL. On our wedding day, we were able to enjoy ourselves and she made sure our program ran smoothly. She worked behind the scenes and was there to make everything perfect.
When we arrived at the wedding reception, all of our display tables were beautifully set up. I didn't even have to send her pictures of how I wanted things. Cindy and her team executed and they delivered! At the end of the night clean up was very minimal. My boxes were packed accordingly and we just had to load our cars.
Our guests until this day talk about the great time they had. We are so grateful that Cindy was by our side. She made our vision a reality and our pictures and video showcase our beautiful wedding. Even with all the crazy details, our wedding really did turn out how we planned. On the day of, it was amazing to see a year's worth of planning put into action. I still think back about our wedding day with a smile on my face. Her dedication to get the job done and execute the day to make it ours was priceless. Not to mention she even made us a short slideshow with pictures from our wedding day. They captured our laughter and showcased her point of view of our wedding day. It was a pleasure working with her and I would definitely recommend her to future engaged couples! You won't regret it, Cindy will take care of you!
Cindy is AWESOME, I don't think I have ever met anyone like her. She is efficient, effective, and makes your dream become a reality. From the beginning, she got to know us on a personal level. She was able to see what kind of couple we are and she made sure our relationship shinned throughout the wedding. She is so very organized, without her I would have missed lots of important details. She gave me deadlines to make sure I didn't stress as the wedding came near. My husband and I had the MOST FUN day ever!!! She kept everyone organized and ready. If there was something I wanted, she made sure it happened. She was very good at painting the picture for me too. If there were ideas, she would show us what that would look like and if it was feasible. She was our expert and I trusted her wholeheartedly. She let us know what to expect and got us ready for the tough moments, like when all 300 guests want to take pictures with us in only 20 minutes at the chapel! She organized us and THEM.
Poor Cindy had a really tough time with our reception venue, the management was mean and rude to her. She trucked on with a smile and made sure WE were happy. Not until days after the wedding we found out, we would have never known. She made our night perfect, she made sure we kept with our timeline (we actually finished the program 15 min early!!! that's how good she is!) We didn't miss a beat, we ate, we drank, we socialized, and danced the night away all thanks to her. Our venue decor was perfect and she knew exactly what to do. Whatever hiccups there were, my husband and I knew nothing about them, that's how good she is! Guests who did not RSVP were seated as if there were no issues. Our guests also liked to move around their assigned seats, and she worked with them without any issues.
We also hired her husband as our photographer, and the duo is perfect. Having our wedding planned and documented alongside a, truly, in love couple was the cherry on top for us. Our wedding was perfect thanks to Cindy.
Cindy coordinated my soon to be sister-in laws wedding this past June and I was definitely impressed with her work. Not only was she very professional and was on top of everything, no small detail went unseen. As a bridesmaid we received a time line on how the Wedding day was going to pan out. I love schedules and the way Cindy had planned out the day was perfect. She kept the wedding party on time, handled everything at the venue and the day went on without a hitch, if there was something that went wrong she handled it as best as she could. At first I didn't think a day of coordinator was necessary but after seeing all of her hard work I can see why I had to hire Cindy for my wedding.

We originally met Cindy through her husband who was our wedding photographer. After sitting and talking about day of logistics, we quickly realized that having an extra set of hands to help us carry out the day would be extremely beneficial. About a month out, Cindy started to gather our vendor information and day-of details. We met in person a couple times to do an on-site walk through at the venue and then again to go through the timeline together and fine tune it based on our needs and wants for the day. She listened to our ideas and gave her input and ideas in a professional and respectful manner.
As the wedding got closer, she confirmed vendors and began constructing our day of timeline for the entire day. Cindy communicated with vendors to create a seamless timeline all while keeping us included and up to date will any and all changes.
On the big day, she maintained communication with the MOH and Best Man to ensure that the bridal party was on time even before her official "start" time. She really went the extra mile to ensure that my husband and I had a stress-free wedding day and we truly did! Even when issues arose, Cindy handled it on the spot. We can't thank Cindy enough for all of her hard work! Do yourself a favor and hire Cindy, you will not be disappointed.
We had the honor of having Cindy as our wedding planner and Day-of-Coordinator for our Valentine's Day wedding. I have many good things to say about working with Cindy and the feedback from many of our guests sums it up well - it was the most perfect wedding they had ever been to.
Cindy is very organized and her execution of events is terrific. She's easy to get a hold of and her responses were very timely. She organized our rehearsal from start to finish and made sure our entire wedding party knew what was going on.

She even went above and beyond and contacted our cake vendor after the wedding informing them of an imperfection on the cake and we received a partial refund from the vendor.

Cindy was all we wanted and more from a day-of wedding coordinator. Her help began very early in our wedding planning and was not just for the "day of". She is very thorough and makes sure she knows exactly what you want on your wedding day. We worked out all the tiny details before hand and all we had to do doing our actual wedding was relax and enjoy. Even the bridal party was impressed how smoothly everything ran. we definitely recommend her for your planning and/or coordinating needs!
It didn't take me long into my initial meeting with Cindy to decide that she was just the gal to help me coordinate my wedding. She more than exceeded every expectation and my husband and I couldn't be more happy with our experience. Not only is she incredibly thoughtful and detail oriented, but the worksheet she provides really makes the process of planning less daunting. Cindy was so dedicated to helping us make our wedding special and even brainstormed with us for more than 3 hours during an in-home meeting a few weeks before the wedding.
It was the day of the wedding that Cindy really shined. From setting up all of the wedding decor, preparing and coaching the wedding entourage, remaining cool and collected as we puzzled through a few uninvited wedding guests and all of the millions of things behind the scenes that I'm sure I'll never know about - she never stopped. Her skills didn't go unnoticed either and I heard a lot of praise for her throughout the night. My bridal part definitely became believers of Cindy's greatness and a few of them left that night with her contact information. Cindy even gave us a helpful list of must-dos for our honeymoon in Hawaii.

Cindy was so amazing! We hired her as a day of coordinator for our wedding in August, located in Sonoma County. She was so much more than just a day of coordinator, she was so helpful from the moment that we hired her, she was always available for questions and very quick with the anwsers, great advice and encouragement. She was always friendly, prefessional and responded very quickly to emails. Cindy helped keep me on track with planning every step of the way. Her spreadsheets and other attachements that she sent made everything so much easier, and organized. Cindy directed our rehearsal the day before the wedding, she was very professional and helped make sure everyone knew there place and part during the ceremony. On the day of the wedding, she was so great made sure everything ran smoothly, she took care of the vendors and made sure that everything was on schedule. My family was very happy that she was there to coordinate, they didn't have to worry about anything because of her. Everything turned out beautiful and better than I could have imagined. I didn't worry about anything with Cindy as my coordinator. I would definitely hire Cindy again to help plan another event and recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic planner. She was very organized, professional, and a pleasure to working with. She was worth every penny we paid her and more! Thank you very for everything Cindy!
My fiancé and I hired Cindy for our wedding and could not be happier with the service she provided. We had a traditional Hindu ceremony with a ton of moving parts and really needed someone to help us stay on track. Although we were a little hesitant at first about hiring someone who had never coordinated an Indian wedding, we felt very reassured after our first meeting with Cindy. She was very professional, organized, and made us feel taken care of throughout the entire planning process.
My fiancé and I did our best to prepare to make Cindy's job easy as possible, but like most weddings, things went wrong. Cindy was well-organized and prepared and was able to handle everything gracefully. There were a few problems with our vendors, but my fiancé and I were not even aware of the problems until the next day. Cindy really shielded us from the havoc that was occurring and did such an awesome job to make our day extra special.
Cindy not only works very hard at what she does, but also made it a point to create a relationship with us as well. My fiancé and I felt so happy to have her a part of our wedding day that we were sad when we had to say goodbye. You know you've hired someone special when you're able to create a friendship with them as well.
Our family and friends were also very impressed by Cindy's diligence and dedication to our event. She went above and beyond what we had asked of her and she succeeded in making our day memorable. Cindy is the best! We hired her as a day of coordinator for our wedding and I am so thankful that we found her. At first I didn’t want a coordinator at all because I figured that I could do everything myself but we are so happy that we decided to have one and I don't regret it one bit. It is a huge help to have someone be your extra set of brains especially when you are in bride mode and want everything to turn out perfectly.
Cindy is extremely organized and detailed-oriented which I loved because I was so stressed out especially the last month leading up to our wedding with all the wedding DIY projects and such. Cindy was so helpful especially with all the little details a bride tends to forget… she filled in those gaps for me and it really helped ease my nerves to know that she was there to take care of things I missed. She made a timeline of the wedding day for the entire wedding party which included hair and make up schedule... really organized!
Cindy also coordinated with all the vendors, which was huge load off my shoulders because I could then focus on other things. She just doesn’t work with you on the day of the wedding. She was available via email/text/phone right after I hired her. She was quick to respond and made helpful suggestions to ensure that everything turned out the way I wanted it to and even better!
My vision for my wedding became a reality and I have Cindy to thank for helping pull everything together into such a beautiful wedding!
