As a "Type- A" bride who was striving for perfection, Vy and her team PERFECTLY coordinated, set up, and ran our event seamlessly. I am so grateful for them and their ability to see the creative vision, ask the right questions, and bring to life our dream wedding day. Their professionalism is unmatched, and we would work with them 10x over.
They were so organized, kind, energetic, and it was obvious that they were happy to help us with our big day. The whole planning process was easy and we felt reassured that the wedding day would not be stressful!
We had a great time working with Vy from Happily Hitched for our wedding. She was our day-of coordinator, but assisted us in the 8 weeks leading up to the wedding as well. Since the time we reached out to Happily Hitched, we were met with responsiveness and provided a wide range of resource spreadsheets to begin organizing our special day. If you value organization and structure, Happily Hitched will definitely be able to help you stay on top of everything that needs to get done, which we found incredibly helpful - especially as the date came nearer!
We worked with Vy from Happily Hitched for our wedding, and had a fantastic experience. Vy was professional, responsive, and deftly handled all the last-minute changes and detail-updating we asked of her. She really helped us to stay organized and on track during the last two months leading up to the wedding. Her stage management the day of was also flawless, and she did a great job making sure our vendors had what they needed and everybody in our wedding party knew what they needed to do.
When beginning the wedding planning process, I hadn't thought about hiring a coordinator. Our venue did not require a coordinator but encouraged hiring one. I was a bit hesitant and wasn't sure if it would be worthwhile as we had a micro wedding. After going through the planning process and getting married, I can confidently say my day turned out absolutely beautiful thanks to the great work of our planners. From my initial call with Christina, I could instantly tell how organized, passionate and kind she was and had zero doubt about her ability to assist in making our day run smoothly. While Vy was the lead planner, Christina assisted with our walk through at our venue and was so thorough - I was so impressed. Their communication leading up to the wedding was top-notch, both Vy and Christina were very prompt and detail oriented. Hiring Happily Hitched was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process and I was able to be fully present and enjoy my day to the fullest. If you are looking to enjoy your big day and are hesitant like I was about hiring a coordinator, please hire Happily Hitched - you will not be disappointed!
My husband and I got married 5/11/24 and used Happily Hitched for our month of coordination. When I say Christina and her team were everything I prayed for and more, I mean it! Up until our services began, planning our wedding was not the most enjoyable experience. However, the stress melted away when Happily Hitched took the reins. From the initial consultation with Christina, I knew she would be my saving grace through this process. It was so amazing having a team that I could trust to help me close out the final details of our special day. They made it so easy for me to release control and know that they were there to make sure it all went according to our vision...even on a rainy May day.
I will stand solid in saying we had the best planning team. My husband and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the countless hours of work you all put in, and the endless emails and phone calls you patiently answered walking us through every step. The memories of how perfect our day was, will never escape my mind! We truly enjoyed working with you all!

Our wedding venue required a planner and selecting Happily Hitched was the perfect choice! While we felt confident in our ability to go through the planning process of booking vendors, we wanted to minimize stress and actually be able to enjoy the day we spent so much time planning. We also didn't want our friends or family running around managing the logistics and chaos of the day. Happily Hitch's Event Management package was therefore perfect for us! It was competitively priced and included planning support months before the big day. Our planners Megan and Christina were incredible - professional yet easy to talk to, not to mention incredibly organized and experienced with managing all things wedding. They brought up so many important questions and details that we never would have dreamed of! They were very accommodating with our busy schedules and Christina went above and beyond supporting us while on maternity leave. On the day, everything ran smoothly and it was all thanks for Happily Hitched. If you want to actually enjoy your wedding day, book happily Hitched!
When asked if I would change anything about my wedding planning experience, I immediately knew my answer. When booking Happily Hitched we used their wedding day of coordinator services. If I could give any advice or would change anything I would immediately go back and book their full wedding planning services, instead of just the day of coordination. If cost of wedding planners is initially a little scary to you, let me tell you that booking this team will be worth every penny. Having Christina and her team along the way even outside of the full services set the bar for all of my other vendors. Christina was responsive, organized and at every step of the way was looking to honor exactly what my fiance and I wanted our wedding to be.
Life as we know also happens and during wedding planning things are bound to happen. A few days before our wedding, the HH team member had a family emergency that caused my day of coordinator to need to change. I was incredibly impressed how well I was communicated with, a back up plan already existed and ready to go. My new day of coordinator and her assistant were AMAZING. I felt like they had been with me the whole way and picked up on best ways to support me throughout the day quickly. My fiance and I couldn't stop talking about the positive impact they had on our day. If you are on the fence about booking wedding planning services, I hope this review is your push to do it!
If you are ever so slightly debating hiring wedding coordinators, Happily Hitched is the company for you. I cannot say enough good things about them. Christina and Megan were my two coordinators and they seriously exceeded every expectation. I loved using their platform, Aisle Planner, to organize all of my wedding inspo, vendor contact information, guest list and more. However, what blew me away the most was their attention to detail. I would say I’m pretty good at noting small details but they they brought up questions and details I would have never thought of. They are without a doubt one of the biggest reasons why my wedding day went perfectly and looked so beautiful. Not only that, they are some of the warmest and sweetest people you’ll ever meet. They make you feel heard and loved throughout the entire process! They truly become friends and I will miss chatting with them each week. I could not recommend them enough <3
We were told who you hire as your wedding planners will make or break your wedding - so choose wisely! We hired Christina and Happily Hitched as our planners and we made the absolute best, right choice!!! We hired them after a really great first meeting where Christina was thorough and asked great questions of us that weren't just logistics but were about us as a couple. That was just the beginning with Happily Hitched and their incredible team. We were introduced to Megan who is our hero. We did the partial planning package with them. Their vendor suggestions were on point - every single person we chose on their recommendation was stellar. We had 2 instrumental planning meetings where we went over progress and had questions answered. The week before the wedding Megan got in touch w/ all of our vendors, and got everything aligned and ready. She created this super detailed timeline, emailed all the wedding VIPs, had a pre-planning meeting, and went over EVERY LAST DETAIL. And then of course the day of the wedding we were thrown a curve ball b/c a huge storm blew through. Megan and the team did not even flinch and pivoted so quickly - they worked with the catering staff, and the venue to make everything right. I am so glad we picked Happily Hitched as our wedding planners because they know how to throw a great party. Thank you Christina, Megan and the interns for helping us have the wedding of our dreams. We will not forget you :)
We loved working with Happily Hitched! At the start of the wedding planning process, we were only looking for coordination services for our wedding. Out of all the vendors we reached out to for this, Happily Hitched was the most responsive to our questions and we didn't feel pressured to add on any additional services. We ended up doing the partial planning and coordination package, and it was worth it. We had Christina as our lead planner, and she was awesome. For partial planning, we got 4, 1-hour meetings to discuss anything with our planner. We used those to get advice for vendor recommendations, feedback on ideas, logistics planning, and getting extra inspiration. Leading up to the big day, when the coordination package kicked in, Christina took care of it all. She came prepared for our final walkthrough, took notes, and followed up quickly with all the other vendors. On the big day, she and her team took care of it all. I was able to enjoy the wedding events and not think about the logistics or "what ifs". I was so happy with the way everything turned out, and I highly recommend Happily Hitched.
When my wife and I first got engaged, we discussed whether it was worth the expense to hire a full planner. We were young then - it was pre-pandemic and we were bright-eyed and naive to the complexities of the world. It was a different time, you understand...
Fast-forward to a post-Covid world, where we were forced to shift our original date, update vendor contracts, change guest counts nine (ten?) times, cancel a venue and book another, update our linens, our flowers, our colors, our overall aesthetic... It would have all been impossible without the help of Christina Carter and her team.
As our engagement stretched from an initial 15 months to well over 3 years, we got to know Christina personally as well as professionally. Christina answered every want, need, and middle-of-the-night-panic-attack with aplomb and serenity approaching that of a Buddhist-monk.
Tongue-in-cheek aside, Christina was ferociously helpful at every turn. She was able to take our random miscellany of ideas and crystallize them into a wedding that was not only gorgeous, but also ran smooth as clockwork.
After years of working with Christina, our bitter-sweet moment came after the wedding – we realized we would not need to have our weekly calls with her anymore. It was very similar to the feeling one gets when switching jobs and leaving behind co-workers that long ago became family.

Happily hitched made our wedding weekend seamless! My husband and I got married in the middle of February 2022 and had a big Indian fusion wedding that involved two ceremonies and a reception spread across a weekend - mind you, one of our ceremonies started at 8am meaning a VERY early start to the day. Christina and Megan made sure every detail was carried out exactly right and kept the events running right on time. We worked with Christina from six weeks out (we hired her as our day of coordinator) and she was on the ball from the start. We went through every detail, she asked us all the right questions to fill in any gaps we had, and she also made the effort to understand what all of our traditions were across each of the ceremonies. We also loved the fact that Happily Hitched prioritized the marriage, not just the wedding! We would highly recommend happily hitched to anyone looking for their wedding!
Christina and her team are the best. As young/busy professionals getting married we needed a team that was flexible, organized, and paid attention to details when we couldn't. Additionally, they were excited/positive and kept the stress low so we could enjoy the process. Christina and her team with Happily Hitched are absolutely wonderful. Our wedding weekend went off without a hitch thanks to Shaneice, Christina, and the Happily Hitched team! Shaneice was so organized running the point for us leading up to and throughout the whole weekend - no stone was left unturned, every minute detail was documented including making sure the AC was cool enough at the church for the ceremony! :) Shaneice was always responsive, professional, and calm, which was so helpful especially on our wedding day when it felt like a million things had to happen all at once. Shaneice was there to oversee everything from the photographer, to the venue, to the caterer, to the transportation, you name it! We employed Shaneice and Christina for event management and had a marriage coaching session with Aishah, though if we had to repeat it all over again, we would have had them take on the full wedding planning! Christina and Shaneice were both experienced in wedding planning (it was no one's first wedding), familiar with the venue, and had excellent vendor contacts and relationships. They have the essential services you need to plan a wedding, including access to Aisle Planner and services for planning, research, consultation, and coordination, at any budget and expectation level. Shaneice was wonderful and calming to work with during the process as our lead coordinator, and provided on-time service with personal attention that made us feel confident about the Big Day. She often asked us how we were feeling, which was a nice check-in. Having Shaneice and Christina as a team to be on the ground at our wedding was a good value for the investment. They were able to work on the fly to move the cocktail hour from inside to outside in response to changing weather conditions. Everything was seamless, smooth, and beautiful, and all of our guests keep telling us it was one of the best weddings they've been to!
We cannot thank Christina, Megan & the Happily Hitched team enough! Christina's knowledge is invaluable - she was so helpful throughout every step and answered every nonsensical question I had! She also let us borrow several items (THANK YOU!) and did such a great job of making my vision for our day a reality. Also - working with Aisle Planner was so seamless and it is SUCH a great tool. Christina's organization was so appreciated and her packing instruction for all of our decor was so easy to follow.
She ran a tight ship during the rehearsal to ensure everyone knew exactly where to be when and what to do when. And on the wedding day, they were on top of everything and somehow everywhere at once! We couldn't have done it without them! Thank you so much!!!
We worked with happily hitched to rent their beautiful wooden farm tables. We put several tables together for a gorgeous long head table. Happily hitched was fantastic to work with from day one. Absolutely recommend if you are looking for farm tables for your event!
Shaneice and Christina were so sweet, helpful, and organized. We hired them as month-of coordinators and Shaneice blew us out of the water! She had a whole timeline set, she knew the questions to ask, she really helped us get in order. I thought I had a decent admin agenda but there's was truly professional really helped us make sure we covered every detail.
One anecdote really proves how detail-oriented and thoughtful they are. We had ordered one small fancy cake to cut and had sheet cake in the back for everyone else (FYI folks raved about the sheet cake too so we endorse this approach to folks).
Sometime before I mentioned it would mean a lot to my MIL to have some of the really nice cake because cake is her favorite part of every wedding. We must have gone through 1000s details in the day leading up, but Shaneice and Christina REMEMBERED and brought a plate special just for my MIL! She was so touched and she literally will talk about how happy she was about that for the rest of our lives. Happily Hitched helped our wedding be the perfect day, I would recommend them to everyone!
Happily Hitched is a one of a kind wedding planning and coaching service! Christina and Aishah put so much heart and energy working with each of their couples. We chose the full planning service and Christina was with us every step of the way, providing us with top-tier vendors from our venue to the bridal shop that I got my dress from. Communication was very prompt and efficient. Wonderful! They are a powerhouse of a team, and you will not regret choosing Happily Hitched to help plan one of the most memorable days of your lives!
We loved having Ali help plan our wedding! We had the "day of coordination" which is 6 weeks before and from the moment she started she was absolutely amazing! She was super organized and on top of every last detail communicating with all our vendors. During the actual wedding, she was somehow in all places at once - even taking off her shoes and running to grab things when my mom had too much champagne and forgot to get the bustle video right before we needed to walk into the reception. our whole day was picture perfect from start to finish and i had multiple friends ask about Ali when they are ready to plan their special day as well! we also loved the coaching portion and just the whole approach Happily Hitched took for wedding planning and would highly recommend!
Our only regret was not hiring Christina's full planning package. She was incredible – super organized, thought of everything, and extremely calm/kind which is exactly what you want on the day of your wedding (and leading up). Any issues that came to our attention the day of, we quickly discovered she was already aware, on top of, and had a plan in place for it. This really allowed us to enjoy our day. She also feels strongly about helping the couple build a healthy marriage, not just an incredible day, but a strong foundation for everything that comes after.

We would have a very hard time thinking of a better coordinator than Christina. She was absolutely phenomenal – super organized, thought of everything, and extremely calm/kind which is exactly what you want on the day of your wedding (and leading up). She was constantly available in a way that allowed us to fully enjoy the day – we knew that we didn’t have to keep time or think of the next step because she would be there to tell us it was time and coach us through it. She took all preferences we gave and executed perfectly, and also brought her own expertise to the table when we were burnt out of decision making. She also feels strongly about helping the couple build a healthy marriage, not just an awesome wedding – which was so unique and awesome. We also rented beautiful farm tables from her (made by her sweet father) that made the look we were going for so perfect. We can’t recommend her highly enough!
Christina & Shaneice were the perfect people to have in my corner when planning a wedding, especially during 2020. They were genuine in easing my concerns while remaining calm & positive and were very easily accessible. I even had other vendors of mine tell me how awesome and efficient they were! Christina is very professional, flexible and responsive. We unfortunately had to cancel our original larger event due to Covid-19, and had a small ceremony that we moved up. When we let Happily Hitched know what we were doing, they went out of there way to accommodate us. They have always been immediately responsive and helpful and I would recommend them to any bride and groom looking for a company that works hard, communicates well, stays on top of things and is extremely professional.
Happily Hitched was beyond a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We booked with them for day-of coordination. All our friends and family were so impressed with their organization, open lines of communication, and professionalism. Christina is the best--she truly took care of us and made sure we were able to enjoy our wedding day. Their prices for their services were reasonable and stayed within our budget (especially for a Nova-area wedding!). They were all very prompt to follow up on wedding planning, and they were transparent with any conversations they'd have with our other vendors. On the day of our wedding, Christina and her team were very involved in directing the bridal party, making sure we moved forward on time, and made themselves available to contact for *anything* we needed that day! They care so much for their couples and did everything they could to accommodate what was important to us.
Working with Christina during my wedding was a dream. I met Christina a little later than normal, as my previous wedding coordinator had left for a different position. I was nervous to meet someone new, but Christina immediately calmed all of my nerves. From start to finish, Christina was professional, courteous, insightful, and accommodating. I loved designing and brainstorming on her AislePlanner website. I feel like I have no idea what I was doing during the design process, but Christina took all of my little pieces/signs and put them together beautifully. The day of the wedding, Christina was fantastic. Everything went so smoothly—especially when I decided last minute to have my wedding ceremony inside due to the heat. Everything went off without a hitch and the guests raved about the decor in the reception and the ceremony. She also was able to corral and coordinate with my huge family—no easy task!
