Even during a pandemic Lisa and her staff were able to execute an amazing and beautiful formal wedding. She was able to envision creative alternatives given covid19 limitations. They are excellent to work with and would highly recommend them.

Harbour View was perfect in every way for our rock and roll wedding!! It was the first and only venue we even looked at because we knew it was perfect for the wedding as soon as we got there. The staff is super friendly and amazing, they will help with ANYTHING. Amanda was an amazing and fun coordinator and everyone loved working with her. The venue also easily connected to all of our other venues like the DJ, catering, desserts... The location is amazing for pictures and the wedding ceremony and reception ran smoothly together, no issues at all. Amazing bridal suite as well and a huge dance floor to party all night. All of our guests loved the site and had an amazing time. The service was amazing and it is really clean, organized, and decorated beautifully. Not a single complaint from anyone. Would recommend this venue to anyone, it is perfect to fit anyone’s wedding dream. 11/10

Andrea was our coordinator and to say she was AWESOME is truly an understatement! We had been working with her over a year and she really got to know our personalities! The entire HV staff made sure we were taken care of well before the day of the wedding! Our guests kept complementing us on the venue and how everything came out so flawless (thanks to HV)!! Andrea was there with us every step of the way and we will always cherish that memory for years to come!

We honestly can't sing enough praises for the Harbour View team. From start to finish, the staff worked tirelessly to make sure that our day went smoothly. They set up the decorations we dropped off, packed our catering leftovers and gifts into our cars before the end of the reception, and even gave us a beautiful personalized gift themselves. The staff works very hard to ensure that bride and groom are not stressed with logistics and timekeeping on the day of the event. Any time that I did ask whether I was behind schedule (e.g. when I was getting dressed before the ceremony), my day-of coordinator, Amanda, reassured me and let me know that regardless of timing, the staff would make sure that my day went the way I wanted it to - which it definitely did. Very professional/organized team, but more importantly: they really give each client their full attention, even though they have lots of other events to plan. They're truly amazing people and the venue is gorgeous. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Kaitlyn was the best coordinator ever! She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable during the planning and the ceremony. It was beautiful and went off without a hitch. Several of my guests even mentioned that this was the best wedding they'd ever been to. I would recommend Harbour View to everyone!

Working with Harbour View was a dream come true! Our coordinator, Katelyn, was so awesome! Throughout the planning processing she was extremely helpful and forward-thinking. On the day of our wedding Katelyn and her team went above and beyond to ensure our desired decor was laid out appropriately and to keep our timeline on track. Katelyn consistently checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and not taking on any stress. We are so happy we chose Harbour View for our special day. The location, price point, and level of service makes this venue a true gem in the DC/MD/VA area!

This venue went above and beyond for my wedding! They were super responsive and as soon as I met Katelyn, I knew I wanted her as my go to planner at Harbour View. Her and all the other ladies are a life saver from random questions to ideas they provided. One thing I loved about this venue is that it comes with sooo much including decor and people to set up some decor. I loved that they were meticulous like I am and combed over all details at my final meeting. I also loved that they worked well with my wedding planner. It was like my planner had an extended team. This venue is sooo open and allows you to bring in your own liquor which saved me thousands of dollars. The venue is beautiful and close to the water so that goes without saying. The only downside is when its hot in the warmer months, the Veranda get pretty hot and I got married 9/28/19. But they had the air pumping in the ballroom upstairs. Also, the bride and groom rooms to get ready are pretty warm even though they have fans so we brought our own. My favorite memory is my now husband and I receiving stiff drinks to help us calm down from all the craziness of just getting married and getting ready for the turn up at the reception. Harbour View took good care of me and I have so many great memories there. Thank you!

I absolutely loved working with the Harbour View staff leading up to my reception. Then, the reception itself was perfect. We had such a good time. All of the little details were accounted for. Even after the event was over, the clean up was taken care and it just made everything go so smoothly. Everyone is so sweet and they take time with you every step of the way! I highly recommend this location!!! :)

Harbour View is a beautiful location, and the staff there were SO helpful to us! They take on the duties of a day-of-coordinator, and so much more. Our POC was very responsive to my questions all along the way, helped me brainstorm any issues, and are incredibly friendly. They really went above and beyond - our HV coordinator ran our rehearsal, did 99% of the work of bustling my dress, and independently found ways to use our ceremony flowers to bump up the decor in the reception area. They were truly spectacular and amazing to work with, I can't say enough good things.

Harbour View is by far the best place in the area for any type of party, wedding or reception. We had our wedding there and the Harbour View staff was there for us from the day we signed our contract until we got in our car and left the night of the wedding! Katelyn was always keeping in touch with us via email to keep on schedule and to offer any assistance. The day of our wedding we expected Katelyn there, but we were shocked of the amount of additional staff and help that Harbour View provided (setting up, coordinating the reception space, bringing us drinks, helping guests, etc.). Everything went so smoothly thanks to Katelyn and the Harbour View team!

Choosing Harbour View was one of the best decisions that I made. Katelyn, who was the coordinator assigned to my event, was fantastic! The coordinators were all top notch. I could call at any time and any of them could answer my questions or address my concerns. There was never any passing your questions on or leaving you hanging. The ladies of Harbour View, including the owner, were amazing from the first time I walked in the door to follow up after my event. They handled the smallest of details and addressed any guest need flawlessly. I only found out later just how much they did behind the scenes.

I wish it was our wedding day again because it was that perfect! The Harbour View family was amazing and even helped with decor because we had a house fire and lost all of our wedding items. Rachel was our coordinator and we loved her personality and her wedding knowledge. We didn't have to worry about anything. Bring me back to 9/29/18!!

This review is long overdue, but well deserved. My wife and I cannot express how lucky we were to book this venue for our wedding. The coordinators, the scenery, the professionalism, and really everything was done as though we were family. As a matter of fact, our families did nothing but the compliment us on the venue and the staff. With every wedding there is a degree of stress, but everything regarding this venue was stress free. We reserved the entire venue for our large wedding, and it is our opinion that we got more than what we paid for. You aren't getting ripped off when working with the Harbour View team. They actually have a approved list of vendors, some of which we hired, that integrate with the venue team seamlessly. One last note....Book them early. Harbour View was a beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, perfect venue for my wedding. My family from India couldn't stop praising the place. The staff is wonderful, it's a women owned and operated business, so no wonder they are awesome! From day one, everyone was super nice and professional and extremely helpful. They were so passionate and excited about every detail. My friends and family told me after the wedding that they were extremely accommodating to kids and moms and I'm so grateful for that! Rachel, our day of coordinator is a superwoman and I didn't have to worry for a second, she made sure the timeline was followed and everyone was on time and I couldn't have asked for more! Thank you Harbour View for making my day even more special and for being the nicest women I have ever worked with!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Harbour View. The experience was phenomenal! The team truly caters and tailors their venue to your needs and desires. We had our ceremony in the smaller ballroom instead of the open veranda, and it was beautiful. Our guests were well taken care of, and everyone had a great time. Rachael and the Harbour View were very responsive, and were always extremely pleasant when I reached out to them. Our pictures are beautiful because of the venue, and the beautiful dock backdrop. The reception space was also gorgeous! I really liked that the Harbour view team offers day-of- coordination so that you do not have to worry about the small details on your big day. I will always recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married. The team truly made my day special.

I simply cannot put into words how lucky we were to find Harbour View and have our wedding there. From the first visit with Lisa, we felt supported and cared for. Her entire team was always responsive to emails and was there every step of the way when we had a question. The staff pointed us in the right direction for most of our vendors, and we had great experiences with all of them. They were always calm and really make you feel like family. I would absolutely recommend Harbour View to anybody looking for a wedding reception venue. From the moment my then fiancee and I walked into Harbour View we knew this is where we wanted our wedding reception. The venue is beautiful inside and out with amazing views of the Occoquan River. The price is much better than many other comparable venues in Prince William County. Rachael and the rest of the staff were phenomenal. I can't think of anybody else who is as passionate about her job as Rachael. She truly cares about her clients and made my wife and I feel like family. They were accommodating as we often brought family in during off hours to see the venue and get ideas for the reception. As wedding day drew closer Rachel did an excellent job coordinating with all of the vendors so that the day of, we had nothing to stress about. Rachel and the team at Harbour View went above and beyond to make any requests we had a reality which included having a cookie table at the reception that our family still raves about. If you're looking for a wedding reception venue I would absolutely give Harbour View the highest recommendation. Give them a call and make an appointment to visit. I promise you will not be disappointed!

We just had our wedding a week ago and to say that the Harbour View team is incredible is an understatement! We worked directly with Katelyn from our first venue tour, to booking our wedding, all throughout the planning process, and up until our wedding day! The Harbour View family is so welcoming and are such fun, wonderful people! Katelyn was beyond helpful and kept the planning process completely stress-free, she even helped bustle my dress the day of our wedding! The venue is so perfect and their team provides day of coordinators to ensure everything goes well all throughout your wedding! We got so many compliments from our friends, family, and even vendors about how smoothly our wedding went and it is all thanks to the Harbour View team! Truly a one of a kind and remarkable team led by Lisa. We just had our wedding there in May and EVERYTHING went great thanks to the Harbour View team! Katelyn was great throughout the process and made everything so much easier for us. Not to mention what a beautiful venue overlooking the river with yachts and boats in the background. Our pictures turned out great, our guest were amazed with the venue. We held our ceremony there, along with cocktail hour right after, and our reception as well. We knew as soon as we arrived at Harbour View that this was where we wanted to have our wedding. The scenic waters for pictures and the open wall allowed an outdoor feel while not being exposed to the heat/sun. Katelyn and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly throughout the day to help manage the crowds as well as ensure our comfort.

We couldn't have been happier with our experience at Harbour View. From the very first meeting until our wedding, the service was phenomenal. Katelyn took the time to go over the pricing with us in a nice, comfortable setting. She put us at ease with her friendly personality and her confidence in their product. We loved that we had access to the whole building - it felt more personal that way. The venue itself is well-kept and naturally beautiful (plus they have a few standing decor pieces and lighting that really added to the ambiance). Katelyn answered at least 40 emails from me with random questions ranging from nanny options to vendor recommendations (all turned out amazing). In addition, she was super patient when we had a few last-minute changes. They have many Caterers to choose from and you can bring your own alcohol, which is a huge cost-saver! In addition, they provide day-of coordinators, which is so helpful. I didn't have to worry about a thing when it came to set-up and they made sure to check in with me several times during the wedding to make sure I had all the support I needed. Katelyn promised me an amazing wedding, and they definitely delivered on that promise. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Harbour View. I highly recommend this venue!!!

From the very beginning, she listened and noted everything that we had mentioned and helped make our ceremony and reception everything we have ever wanted! My husband and I LOVED Harbour View! From day 1 Harbour View made us feel like part of their family. All the employees were so sweet and accommodating. After visiting them, there really was no other competition, as they were the perfect fit for us :-) Throughout planning, they would constantly send check in emails to see if we needed any help with anything at all which was so sweet of them to do! The venue was absolutely gorgeous and we were so impressed at how organized Harbour View was and how well they listened to exactly how we wanted things to look when we dropped all of our wedding decorations off. I have to give a huge shout out to the staff for the day of our wedding but most importantly I have to give a HUGE thank you and shout out to Katelyn. She was so organized and made sure that our day ran so smoothly with no issues and she helped us all stay on schedule. She is truly a gem and she is the absolute sweetest! I cannot say enough good things about Katelyn and the Harbour View Team. Katelyn worked with us from the beginning and we felt so happy and lucky to have her on our special day, however everyone we met at the venue was so friendly and accommodating. Whenever we were visiting, everyone we saw asked us how we were doing, asked about the planning, and helped to give ideas if we wanted them. Katelyn was really responsive and supportive by email, she would offer new ideas, talk about logistics, and comment on our ideas. They help do a ton of coordination so you do not have to and I cannot say how valuable that was. There were two coordinators from HV on site the day of the wedding, they confirmed and coordinated with all our vendors, they offered advice based on experience, invited us in for free meetings, had a 30 day coordination meeting, and were fine with working with both me and my mom. The venue is beautiful and so many guests commented on how it was perfect. The set up is fantastic and classy, they have out door and indoor areas during cocktail hour, the ballroom is huge, it overlooks a beautiful harbor. They think of everything you need on your wedding day, they are on top of things but not intrusive when they need something, Katelyn even tried to make sure we had a few minutes to relax and eat during dinner when everyone wanted to stop and talk. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the people there, do not hesitate to book them now!!!!

Harbour View was my dream venue. The functionality was exactly what I imagined. The staff however is what takes this place beyond the moon amazing. They work as a team but I worked with Holly and she became part of the family from the initial meeting. She always went above and beyond. She was always extremely helpful. My wedding day was the best day of my life! I am happy I chose Harbour View and their wonderful staff.

The first wedding of this spring for RIMAS FILMS, took place in the beautiful Virginia and its outstanding wedding venue and events planners – Harbour View. Although the ceremony took place in the church, Harbour View and its team did an amazing job keeping the guests entertained and happy. And the wedding reception was a true success with everything planned perfectly to a tiniest detail! The bride and groom relaxed and enjoyed their day, while everything was looked after by hardworking Harbour View staff. We got married at Harbour View in March of 2017. The entire Harbour View Team is awesome. We worked closely with Katelyn. Any questions or concerns you have, Harbour View will address. You bring them a vision and they will exceed your expectations. If you are a bride, don't worry because Harbour View is phenomenal. The space is gorgeous and the team is extremely good at what they do. I have never felt more at ease during wedding planning. Thank you Harbour View! Harbour View is a beautiful venue for the wedding. There were a lot of options of where to have the wedding as well, different ballrooms, outside, etc. The staff work as a mini wedding planner helping you review contracts and deciding on what is best for your wedding. I was a little disappointed that the wedding coordinator that I had when I started planning was switched to someone else about 6 weeks before the wedding. I am not a very romantic, "cute-sy" type bride. The first coordinator I had was very chill, like I am, the second one was a little too "excited" about everything for me. Every email had exclamation points all over it and I felt like it was a bit of a battle to keep things the way I wanted which wasn't the "traditional" way of having things. The day of the wedding went very smoothly, everything was set up beautifully and I was very happy with how the room looked. They were great about setting up all the things I had personally made for my wedding including centerpieces, favors, and placecards. All in all, it was a good experience and I am ultimately glad I picked them.

Harbour View went above and beyond to make sure our special days was everything we wanted it to be. Their staff is FANTASTIC!! I can't stress that enough. Katelyn was our coordinator and she was so wonderful to work with through the entire process. She was very involved and always willing to help. We gave her a vision for what we were look for in our reception and when we walked in on the day of our wedding I was speechless, it was just as I always pictured. She was always very responsive to emails. I was never stressed one bit about our reception because I knew they had everything under control. As me and my husband were taking pictures on their beautiful property Katelyn even brought us out some apps from cocktail hour and our specialty drinks to enjoy while taking photos. They completely blew us away with their hospitality and always went above and beyond. We are so thankful we came across this venue because our receptions couldn't' have gone better. My now husband and I had our wedding reception at Harbour View this past September and was the most magical day ever! We could not thank the ladies at Harbour View enough for everything that they did for us. When we booked about 14 months before we knew we made the write decision. Our coordinator was Katelyn and she was AMAZING! (we really love her! haha) She always checked up on to see how we were doing and was always in constant contact! We ran into a few problems with our caterers and Harbour View was there to save the day. Lisa, the owner, and Katelyn went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed (even though they didn't have to!) to make sure we were stress free- it meant the world to us. Day of, everything went smoothly, the ladies were so professional and we had an amazing time. Our guests were so blown away by the venue as well as how beautiful it looked! Another bonus is that they provide the tables and chairs- AND you’re able to rent other great things from them for your wedding! They recently got the beautiful chiavari chairs as well and I was able to use the darker brown ones for the first time at my wedding- it was such a plus!! I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding at Harbour View- you really won't be let down!

Harbour View will always have a special place in my heart. I can't say enough good things about the team there. I worked with Holly and she was AMAZING!! Holly and the ladies at Harbour View were SOOO accommodating. I forgot to purchase our sparklers for the send off but Holly made sure we had the sparklers so that we could have our picture perfect moment. She was always available and would give me vendor suggestions if I needed help finding one. The venue itself is gorgeous. It can accommodate weddings that are small to large (320 I believe) The location of it being on the water makes for a great background. The cocktail hour hour upstairs had such an elegant feel with rich wood floors. If you are considering this place look no further, stop contemplating and BOOK IT!

Thank God for the internet and Google because if it weren't for these two things, my husband I would have never found this perfect hidden gem. From the time that I entered the doors of this picturesque venue, I knew that this would be the place where I'd say "I Do!" Our ceremony was held in the Veranda on a beautiful September Sunday afternoon. The weather was perfect for our nuptials and the scenery on the Occoquan River definitely made everything even more breath taking. Our cocktail hour and reception were held in the upper level of the venue:The Gallery, Hutchinson Room, and the Seawell's Point Ballroom. The staff is absolutely AWESOME! Katelyn was our onsite coordinator with Harbour View throughout the our planning process and she was also our day of coordinator as well. She was so attentive to detail from the very beginning. She worked alongside our Wedding Planner to be sure that everything went off without a hitch and it most definitely did. Lisa (the owner), was amazing as well. One of our nephews had a meltdown as he was supposed to be walking down the aisle as a ring bearer and she helped get him relaxed and calmed down. Other staff members including Holly and Alicia, were also a big asset and so super friendly.

I have to start by saying that I rarely review anything and I it takes quite a bit for me to "gush" about anything. My experience with Harbour View leads me to both write this review and to gush about how wonderful they are as a venue, staff, and creator of the best day I've experienced (to date). I know that sounds a little dramatic, and I have to say that I am not a dramatic person. I was hesitant to have a ceremony, but was nudged to do so by friends and family. I heard about Harbour View from a friend of a friend and decided to go visit. I did the tour with Andrea, who is absolutely a delight in every way!! She helped me to see how beautiful the day could be, which sparked my excitement and helped me to identify a clear plan (to deal with areas in which I felt nervous), answered all of my questions, and communicated the level of support that the staff provides. We looked at dates and my(now) husband and I decided pretty quickly to move forward. After signing, my experience continued to be positive. Andrea made herself available to discuss any questions, help me with ideas, and identify any way that she could accommodate what I needed. This was consistent throughout the entire process!! The actual day of the event was perfect!! I went back and forth about whether I should get a wedding coordinator for the day or week before and Andrea assured me that they had it covered. During the rehearsal, she made my family and friends feel very welcome and "at home". She helped to get the flower girl prepared for the day (she is not quite 3 years old) and made sure that all the vendors were set and ready to go. We went over what was missing and I had an email with reminders by the time I got home!! The actual day of the event was everything she described. I felt amazing. She filled in the gaps in all areas (including serving as the MC because my dj was not familiar with the entire party). I didn't have to worry about a thing. We were running late and she was nothing but reassuring. She was the person that helped me to make sure that my dress was on and tied just perfectly!! She has seen and done so much that she has a strategy for every snafu that could arise!! I offer these details because, in the end, they meant SO much to me. She was the perfect blend of calm, positive, detail oriented, helpful, and so much more. Her logical and clear approach to problem solving was just what I needed. I did work with other staff members and they all seem to be equally awesome.... I just primarily worked with Andrea!! The price was doable, she offered EXCELLENT vendor suggestions (I got my cake, flowers, and caterer from the list), and the site is just beautiful!!! Nothing but great things to say!!!

We had a blast at Harbour View! Katelyn was fantastic and she worked super hard to make sure our day was perfect...and it was! I would highly recommend Harbour View to anyone who is looking to get married on the water with great staff and stress free planning!

We are so glad we went with Harbour View for our June wedding! From the moment we went on our tour with their friendly staff at their beautiful location we knew it was the spot for us. Working with Katelyn was easy as she was quick to respond and cater to our requests. She was incredibly helpful during our 30-day walkthrough where we went through every detail of our big day. The week leading up to our wedding she called all of our vendors to make sure they all knew where and when to be there and as a result our wedding went by smoothly and beautifully. I'd absolutely recommend Harbour View to anyone as their unique location is something many of our guests commented on. Their staff really goes above and beyond to make your day as special as it deserves to be.

We went to several venues, Harbour view being the first we visited, and ultimately who we choose for our ceremony and reception. We loved that we could have an "outdoor" like feel for the ceremony on the veranda, but still not have to worry about rain. So many of the venues for outdoor ceremonies don't have a good alternative if it needs to move indoors due to weather ("we'll have it set up in this corner of the reception area" didn't work for us). Holly (our day-of coordinator) and the whole team were great to work with. Holly was responsive to my emails and calls asking questions about various vendors and other questions during our wedding planning. She looked over contracts and pricing for us. The day-of, they set everything up and transformed the rooms into what we envisioned. Such a treat to be able to have everything set up and tore down in record time and not have to worry about anything. We were very pleased and would recommend this venue to anyone!

There aren't enough words to express how wonderful both the staff and venue of Harbour View are, and how happy we are that we decided to have our wedding there! From our site tour until the wedding was over, our consultant/coordinator--Katelyn Bales; was FANTASTIC. She answered all 10000 of my questions and was so helpful in her ideas and planning of the ceremony and reception.....Holly (another coordinator at HV) made our Bar Signs for us which were AMAZING!!!! During the actual event--we wouldn't have survived without Katelyn keeping everything on track and telling everyone where they need to be and when....I could go on and on forever, but the bottom line is that selecting HV as our venue was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process.....I would highly recommend them.....The venue is beautiful, service is impeccable, and their professionalism and organization is unmatched. BTW, did I mention Katelyn Bales is AMAZING!??!

I can't thank these ladies enough! My wedding coordinator was Katelyn and I absolutely love her! We had about a year and some change to plan our wedding and whenever I called and/or email with a silly question, Katelyn responded promptly and went above and beyond to find answers to certain questions I had. I loved that they always stayed in communication with me about all that ins and outs. The rehearsal was awesome, Katelyn made sure everyone was lined up, organized and ready for the wedding. She let me voice my opinions and concerns openly and came up with great suggestions on how to coordinate things when I needed her opinion. The day of the wedding, she was always around making sure things happened on time, coordinated with my vendors to make sure my bridal party, husband and I weren't bothered at all! I told my photographer I wanted certain shots, and the photographer gave me some push back about certain things. Katelyn stepped right in to make sure that I got what I wanted and I so appreciate her! Did I mention that all you have to do is provide them with a picture of the set up you'd like and they design the wedding reception the way you would have envisioned it?! I went on pintrest and grabbed a few pictures of decor that I really liked for the tables and Katelyn and Holly did an amazing job of making sure that the tables were done just as I'd asked. Harbour view is truly a hidden gem and I will be passing their information to any and everyone who wants to have a fabulous event on the water!

My husband and I have been married for almost three months. We are so very happy and blessed! The Harbour View community is wonderful. They helped us in every way to make our special day celebrating our marriage with all our loved ones to be absolutely beautiful! We all loved the food (R&R!!!!!) and running down to dock carrying a red lantern to sail away on a boat was like being in a Disney movie (early December weather was perfect!). We could still hear the songs playing "Come Sail Away" and "Concerning Hobbits" and see our loved ones on the balcony as we sailed away as the happiest of newlyweds. :) Thank you so much!!
